Too many PINs associated with my BB ID

Dear BB Support,
I bought a new BlackBerry Z10 today and tried to download apps. Unfortunately my BlackBerry ID is connected to too many PINs. Can you help me delete the old PINs and just connect me current PIN to my account so I can download my apps?
Help appreciated.
Best,
Matthias

Your carrier should be able to handle that for you.  That's related to an account, which we can't control from here; we can only advise on issues.
Cheers.

    You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

  • Too many emails associated with product

My daughter recently got an ipod touch. She has signed onto itunes using my account. Now she wants her own acct on the ipod touch so she can use facetime and all that stuff, but for some reason it is affecting my iphone. She has put 2 different emails into the ipod touch and whenver she does it sends a message to my phone and i don't know what to do.  Is the easiest way to fix this by resetting ipod?

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
    Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
    Settings>FaceTime
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

    Please Advice

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Here is a KB that discusses that error:
KB25553 "There are too many PIN changes associated with this account (Error ID: 30801)" is encountered when attempting to login to BlackBerry App World
As you see, the way to resolve it is clear, and you seem to have reached some folks in your attempts that were not able to resolve it. Nevertheless, you should not allow them to fob you off...insist that the KB instructs the resolution path and insist that they make good on that.

  • ORA-30678: too many open connections with UTL_MAIL.send

I'm have just recently started getting the ORA-30678: too many open connections error while calling the UTL_MAIL.send procedure to send emails via a pl/sql package. The call is made within a loop and there can be a significant number of calls made to this procedure. In fact, I received this error over 1400 times within the last three days. This was previously working until I made a change to the processing which now results in a larger number of emails/calls to this procedure. I don't see any documentation on how (or if) I can close the connection with UTL_MAIL.
I'm using Oracle 11g. Any insight would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Teri

Looks like a bug possibly, check out this MOS Note:
Ora-30678: Too Many Open Connections From UTL_MAIL [ID 788442.1]
The bug note says it was fixed in 11.2. Not sure which version of 11 you are running.

  • Photoshop CS6 creates too many History States withing 1 stroke

    I'm on MAC OSX 10.6.8, Photoshop CS6, using a Wacom Cintiq 12".
Too often Photoshop remembers way too many History states within one pen stroke. In previous versions I don't remember this behaviour. Previously, each stroke, no matter how long, was registered as only one History state, until I raised the pen from the tablet. Now, totally sporadically without any obvious rule, Photoshop decides to remember even 100 history states within only one stroke.
Although this is sometimes useful, if you work on really long strokes, but mostly it's highly disturbing, as after using just one tool to paint only one little circle, I loose all my other, much more important History states.
Can somebody explain to me why???

    Noel Carboni wrote:
Done with a mouse I get exactly one "Brush Tool" state in the history and one "Use brush" state recorded in an action.
Could it be that your tablet driver is actually delivering information to Photoshop that makes it think you're lifting the stylus and putting it down many times per stroke?
    -Noel
Hmmm... could be, but I don't know how to test it, as it happens occasionally... I don't experience it in other software, but I will keep an eye on that.

I have just been given a PlayBook and tried to download an App and ot this error, help, what can I do?
    Thanks
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
You need to set up a new BlackBerry ID on your PlayBook.
If you bring up the options screen, then you may be able change it in the BlackBerry I'd option pane.
If you don't have the option, you need to reset (wipe) the PlayBook. There's an option called security wipe. Follow it through, and once it has restarted you can create a new BlackBerryID and start from scratch.

  • Too many child cursors with reasons unknown

    Hi,
I am looking at excessive child cursors for a particular SQL even after setting the CURSOR_SHARING parameter to SIMILAR. I am working on Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 hosted on a Windows 2003 Server. Since the application does not use bind variables I decided to test the efficiency of modifying the CURSOR_SHARING parameter to buy some time before the root cause is fixed.
On querying V$SQL_SHARED_CURSOR I find that none of the flag columns which document the reason for the formation of a child cursor is Y. They are all flagged as N. So, I am perplexed as to why so many child cursors are being generated.
    Some statistical information below:
    Version Count for the SQL_ID = 23506
Count of hash values for the SQL_ID = 1234048
Total (sum) chunk size for the SQL_ID = 112,436,220
Any clues/directions on how to get about this issue?
    Regards

Indeed, histograms are being collected on the columns
that form the predicates of the query. Doesn't this
in fact offset the advantages of using bind variables
    to share SQL?Aniruddha,
Correct. If you have a column that you think deserves a histogram then your front-end code has to co-operate with the database to make the histogram as useful as possible.
If you are lucky, this means you can simply write your code to use a literal value for the predicate on that column and only end up with a few distinct versions of the SQL. At the opposite extreme, you could decide that the overhead of having hundreds of versions of the same query is less of a threat than having a really bad execution plan some of the time. In the more subtle cases, you may have to write code that is "histogram-aware" - i.e. it knows that it has to generate one of a few different statements depending on the supplied values.
Histograms and bind variables don't go together comfortably - and that's a little nasty when you mix cursor_sharing=similar and the 10g automatic stats collection routines.

  • Too many Things wrong with my iPOD to list

Okay, I have a 20 GB iPOD with a click wheel (black and white) that I got in 2004. here's the list of things that is wrong with my iPOD:
    1. the battery drains much faster than it used to
    2. when initially starting the iPOD, it looks like it's low in battery, then it 'magically' restores most of its battery power as shown in the image in the upper right hand screen. but if I play the iPOD for 30 minutes + it runs out of battery again
    3. My AC adapter charger doesn't work
    4. When I plug the iPOD into the USB as a way to charge it, it sometimes beeps a couple times (from the iPOD) and then shows an image of a blown up battery with about 20% of it filled, but the filling is not moving as if it is being charged.
    5. the iPOD is now not being recognized by the PC or iTunes. It only notices that something's been plugged in via USB but it eventually pops up with a window that says the iPOD needs to be updated, even though I have all the updates. If I click on the 'update' button, it doesn't do anything.
    6. The battery on the iPOD is now drained. If I turn it on via pressing the button or fooling with the 'hold' switch, it will turn on, and immediately turn off. If I plug it into the USB, it won't do anything at all, not even turn on.
I don't know if all of these problems are because of the battery or something else. Does anyone have an explanation? Thanks

I think there may others who will do the job for you or who will supply you with a battery so you can do it yourself. Google for them.
Are you sure that the cable linking the iPod to the USB port or the ac charger is OK? (it's a lot cheaper to replace than a battery).

  • Too many flat files with different formats.

    Hi gurus,
i have a headache problems. that is follows:
We will upload data from flat files, but you know there are about 100 .xls files and with different formats.
and as you know  the datasource of the flat file must correspond to every fields of the flat file.
but you know there are 100 flat files and if we donot do any optimise,we will create about 100 transformation and 100 datasource to meet our requirements.
    but that seems impossible.
is there any good idea to decrease the number of transfomation ?

    Hi AK1987,
To import flat files with dynamic columns, we can use Script Task inside a Foreach Loop Container to parse the first row of the flat file to get the columns names and save them into a .NET variable, then, we can create “Create Table” script based on this
variable, and then store the script into a SSIS package variable. After that, we create a staging table based on the package variable, load the flat file data to the staging table. Eventually, we load data from the staging table to the destination table. For
the detail steps, please walk through the following blog:

  • Is it just me or does iMovie have too many bugs especially with Ken Burns

Has anyone else been experiencing the same amount of problems with iMovie 6 as myself?
Random crashes every so often (iMovie has closed unexpectically), it seems to happen every time I've forgatten to save my movie for a while.
Constant problems with Ken Burns rendering ...
Frequent white flashes in between frames ... after a picture has been rendered, especially in HD. To the point that I can't create movies in 720 dv because I will always get static frames here and there.
Static rendering with some images with Ken Burns (diffrent from previous problem) , it seems to effect photos from some digital cameras more then otheres, but I have seen this problem affect just about every photo source. With my photos especially I can't use the Ken burns effect, because I get problems atleast 50%.
And all these problems are happening on my new (current generation) ibook. I've combed through the forums and tried just about every possible solution, reinstalled imovie, repatched it, deleted preferences, installed from a friendssdvd instead of mine, etc ... but I still keep getting these problems. Anything short of reverting back to iLife 5 doesn't work, which ofcourse defeats the whole purpose of gettin iLife 6.
Don't get me wrong a like the new features in iMovie 6, but I'm really finding it impossible to work with it.
Maybe iMovie 6 simply doesn't run well on iBooks?

No iMovie has always been a touchy beast

  • HT201272 I had Pages and many documents associated with it on my generation 1 ipad. I just got an ipad Air. I downloaded Pages to my new ipad but all my documents are gone. How do I go about getting them back. My old ipad was backed up to my computer.

I am trying to locate my old documents from my generation 1 ipad. I downloaded Pages to my ipad Air but my documents are gone. I did back up my old ipad to my computer but I didn't restore my back up to the new ipad. I wanted to start fresh. How do I go about getting just my Pages documents from that backup and by the way, how do I access that back up?

You will need to restore the backup - just downloading the app from the store won't give you its contents from a preivous device, you will need to restore the whole backup onto your new iPad (which will replace its current contents) to get the app's content.

What is the process to remove iOS devices from your iCloud.  Trying to sync iPhone with iCloud under the settings and it says too many devices.  Remove one.
    Thanks

I suspect the message is referring to you having too many devices associated with the Apple ID you are using for iCloud.  You can have a maximum of 10 devices associated with an Apple ID, 5 of which can be computers.  This article explains how to remove a device from your Apple ID: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627.

  • What happens to the cube performance when you have too many UDAs?

    Hi,
what's the impact on the cube performance if you have too many UDAs associated with the same level of members? Let's say 15 UDAs for each member
If attribute is not an option, what's another way to help alleviate the data load?

    Hi,
Adding UDAs to the outline doesn't impact the size of Essbase database.
I've seen cubes with over 70 UDAs. And I think UDAs is the best choice to set load rules.
But for considering of the implication of Dynamic calculations as reporting on UDAs can be slow. Define UDAs on sparse dimensions only.
