Too many spools from RM06ENDR_ALV

Hello.
I run the program RM06ENDR_ALV transaction ME9E every day, but generates a lot of spool in SP01. there is a way to run this program without sending spools?
thanks!!!

Hi Deepak,
I was browsing through these threads to find anwer for the same issue.
So thought of putting my analysis which helped me resolve my problem.
Analysis/Solution:
When we export ALV data to excel worksheet, as sap notes say the maximum lenght allowed is 1023 charaters and the max no of columns supported is 90.
(I never faced any issue related to no of columns as it worked fine for columns >90 too)
Issue occured when row size of exported data gets more than 1023 character.
Therefore the row data must not exceed 1023 character, otherwise column splits and moves to next row.
One additional aspect generally missed is that:
When data in any particular column changes it's length, alv header also changes its lengh (short text, medium text, long text; depending on the length of of the longest cell in the column)
therefore even if you have total length of row less than 1023 character, there might be cases when your ALV header size exceeds this length.
Hopefully it will be helpful for you too.
Regards,
Parveen

  • Sendmail in Solaris 10 - 554 Too many connections from origin

    I recently upgraded a server from Solaris 9 to Solaris 10. One of the apps that worked fine on S9 is now having a problem. I believe I have discovered the cause, but I'm not having any luck coming up with a solution.
    The app in question queries a database for a list of e-mail addresses (all within our own domain) and then sends e-mail to each user. The messages are sent to our Barracuda firewall/spam filtering appliance, and it relays the messages on to our Exchange server.
    The problem that arose after the upgrade is that sendmail is opening too many concurrent connections to the Barracuda, and the 'Cuda is replying with "554 Too many connections from origin".
    I see that there is a sendmail configuration parameter "SingleThreadDelivery" that will only allow one connection to the Barracuda at a time. That appears to be overly restrictive, though.
    My question is this: is there a way to tell sendmail to only allow some number of concurrent connections to the 'Cuda so as not to hit this limit?
    Thanks,
    Bill

    Glen,
    Thanks for the reply.
    Yes, I did look at those, but my understanding was that those parameters effect inbound connection and in our case, the problem is that we want to limit the number of outbound connections.
    As it turns out, the S10 upgrade was not the cause of this problem. At the same time that we upgraded we also added a second network interface (and IP address). Unknown to either myself or the current Barracuda admin, the old IP had been configured into the 'Cuda so that rate limits did not apply. The fix was to add the second IP, too (well actually, he decided to open it up to all of our servers' internal IPs).

  • Too many spams  - from ME!!??

    Trying to get in touch with friends in France - but eMails bounce back after a week or so. The most recent one said:
    Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; host mx.online.net[212.27.35.163] refused to talk
    to me: 500 Too many spams from your IP (), please visit....
    I am not a spammer so has something taken over? It is only from this one email address.
    How can I clear my good name? Or is that even possible?

    When you send a mail, you send it to the configured SMTP-server in account setup. This server is going to send it to the so called "mail exchanger" (MX) of the destination domain.
    The message you got says, that this MX refuses to talk with your SMTP-server, as there have been to many SPAMs from this SMTP-server. Note that everyone using the same mail domain as you do (and maybe even more users) use the same SMTP-server as you do.
    So it is not you in person who sent too many SPAMs, it's the SMTP-server you use which sent too much SPAM.
    You should contact your email-provider to get your SMTP-server off this "blacklist".

  • 421 4.4.5 Too many messages from this host last hour

    Hi, we are in a migration process from a Kerio system to Exchange 2013.
    Everything is working fine, except that we have been experiencing this error on the logs and the Exchange 2013 users are getting returned emails.
    The remote server is 10.10.10.85
    Remote Server at 10.10.10.85 (10.10.10.85) returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'
    19/12/13 7:21:57 p. m. - Remote Server at 10.10.10.85 (10.10.10.85) returned '451 4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with: "421 4.4.5 Too many messages from this host last hour." Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed.
    Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to all alternate hosts. The last endpoint attempted was 10.10.10.85:25'
    My question is, is Exchange rejecting the messages or is the other system telling Exchange to slow things a bit?

    To update this.
    We found out that the other email system was configured NOT to accept more than 100 messages per hour from same sending IP.
    Once we removed the configuration value from the other email system, all started working.

  • Error "421 #4.4.5 Too many connections from your host"

    We have deployed a Java application using JavaMail which enables people to send email to their contact lists. It has been in use for a few years, various updates being applied over that time. Most of our customers have no problem. But a couple of weeks ago, two of them suddenly could no longer send emails.
    The connection to the SMTP server works but when the application sends email, it gets an error 421. A debugging dump is reproduced below: the target email address is changed to protect the uninvolved; messages starting with **** come from my program, other come from JavaMail.
    Can anyone solve this problem? suggest where to look? Thanks.

    Looks like the server keeps track of the number of connections from each machine, and when the number of connections in a certain period exceeds some number, that machine is deemed to be a potential spammer. At any rate it is something you should discuss with the manager of that server.

  • Too Many Prints From The cmn_err

    Hi All,
    I need some help and pointers regarding driver programming on solaris 10 kernel.
    I have a module that has been ported in the kernel space. And I have changed all
    the printfs to cmn_err as the simplest logging mechanism and it prints the messages in /var/adm/messages. I have three queries:
    1)     Due to bug, system panics in some code leg. However, all the prints by that time are not visible in the /var/adm/messages log. Most likely, the kernel panics before all the prints have a chance to be copied to the messages file. This creates a problem because prints do not correctly represent the amount of code that was successfully executed and hence debugging becomes difficult. Is there a way that could cause 'flushing' of messages to the /var/adm/messages file?
    2)     In case 'flushing' is not possible, is there a way to read the remaining message buffer from the crash file generated on reboot? Can it be viewed using mdb crash analysis?
    3)     While debugging a "bad stack overflow" condition, I found that if I disabled all the prints, system did not panic and the "bad stack overflow" did not occur. Does anybody know if too many cmn_err prints can cause kernel panic?
    Any pointers to manuals/articles or other material will be greatly appreciated. I am ready to RTFM if only somebody would point to it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ashutosh

    For this to happen i guess they have a bad senderbase reputation, ie below -1.0?
    What you can do is that you can add the IP-adress into a new SenderGroup in your Host Access Table (HAT overview) with a "Mail Flow Policy" that allows more connections from their IP-adress. Don't allow too many though if they have problems in their network, and make sure Anti-virus scanning and Spam control is enabled in the Policy settings too.
    You can indentify which "SenderGroup" your ISP is connecting into and what SenderBase repuataion score they might have. Use "message tracking" in WebUI, or "findevent" in command line interface to find this out.

  • Too many warmings from -Xlint

    I compile with -Xlint to be sure to catch warnings about potential problems in my code. Unfortunately, -Xlint spews out so much spam, it's difficult to pluck the few important warnings from the vast majority of unimportant ones.
    About 60-70% of my warmings are [unchecked], which seem to be thrown whenever I cast an object that uses generics to it's parent's type. This happens so often in my code, the compiler spits out a virtual wall of [unchecked] warnings. I do not want to solve this by peppering my code with @SuppressWarnings annotations, which apt will then complain about because I haven't explicitly created a process for them.
    A further 30% are [serial] warnings, usually meaning that I extended a swing component or an Action or some other core class that decided to extend Serializable. It is tedious, ugly and pointless to go through my code inserting public static final long serialVersionUID = 0L; everywhere.
    Can I simply turn off these pointless warnings for -Xlint, while still letting important ones like [deprecation] come through?

    try:
    -Xlint:all -Xlint:-serial
    to receive all warnings minus serializable ones.
    use javac -X to get useage of -Xlint

  • Weird behavior when deleting too many rows from a table

    Hello ADFr's
    I have the following code in my managed bean which removes data from an adf table. I am getting an id set from a calling process in my app.
    DCIteratorBinding tableIterato = getIterator(); // returns iterator of the table being modified
    RowSetIterator rsi = tableIterator.getRowSetIterator();
    for(Integer id : idSet) {
    Key key = new Key(new Object[]{id.toString()});
    Row foundRow = rsi.findByKey(key, 1)[0];
    foundRow.remove();
    My issue ..
    This seems to work when the idSet is small 30 or so. But when the idSet is like 50(maybe a littel less) or more, none of the rows seem to be getting deleted. Any clue?
    I added this test in there to see if any rows were being deleted after the loop above, and all the records were still being printed out.
    for(Row row : tableIterator.getAllRowsInRange()) {
    System.out.println("row with name " row.getAtribute("name") " swtill exists");
    This seems to work under 30 fine.
    Why doesn't this work for any size idSet?

    That was it.. thanks Puthanampatti.
    I thought about this right after I sent this//
    Well maybe this post will help someone else (-;

  • Too many emails from Yahoo - Won't Sync

    Using the native Mail Client for the first time hoping I could enjoy some of the new features Yosemite offers.  Trying to sync a Yahoo account (Rogers Canada domain).   The mail app doesn't let you download only recent messages, it insists on downloading everything.  Everything in my case is 10 years of emails > 50,000 + messages.
    I tried downloading it all, but half way through it will stop and not continue. I have a fast internet connection and after day it still won't download it all.  No other conflicting problems.   The Mail client just bogs down and becomes unresponsive when trying to get new mail.
    One remedy I tried was setting up a rule to move emails that are more than a year old to archive.   Still downloads it all emails, but its in a new folder - wow.
    Yahoo uses a POP3 server from Rogers when I type in my email account.  The Mail Client doesn't allow me to manually modify the incoming mail server.  If I want an IMAP server instead, it won't let me change it.   Does Apple think we are all sheep who doesn't understand how to configure mail ? Why no advance configuration settings?
    I searched for alternative mail clients and everything is PAID.  Seriously, on the iphone it's free, but for the iMAC there is a cost.
    K

    Fyi, if you are using Exchange you are not using Imap but the Exchange Active sync protocol, just like a Windows Mobile device. This allow you to sync mail, contact and calendar without setting caldav.
    Just to be sure, please check that you have use the steps described here:
    http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=138740&topic=14252
    Do I understand that all your subfolders in your account are sync to the iphone?
    While I can understand why 3 days will not be enough, the options of showing only the 25 or more recent messages should help solve your problem.

    This is not a new issue, but till kernel 3.0 it could be resolved by compiling the broadcom sta driver (or using broadcom wl from AUR which is the same).
    In kernel 3.0 and 3.1 the boot option 'pci=noacpi' had also to be added to minimize the interrupts.
    My Laptop used to have idle power consumption of 8-9W and now it has 17W.
    Because of the interrupts the CPU is never idle and the fan is constantly running.
    Modules used:
    lsmod|grep wl
    wl 2557159 0
    cfg80211 176889 1 wl
    lib80211 3949 2 wl,lib80211_crypt_tkip

    I have searched for weeks for a solution with kernel 3.3 and i have tried many boot options with acpi.
    Turning acpi completely off leads to the same effect with software timer cosing the interrupts.
    I have also tried the open source driver b43, which also worked but it had the same problem.
    It would be great if anyone could help.

    Yes! Thanks!
    Solution:
    add boot option:
    acpi_os_name="Microsoft Windows NT"
    REMOVE battery and boot
    not sure if boot option is necessary because i removed it and its still ok....
    Now it works with battery as well..

  • I have been blocked from my own ITunes songs because my apple ID associated with too many devices

    I cannot access songs from my own iTunes Apple ID because it says my iPhone has been associated with too many devices.  I have to wait 90 days to access my own songs on my iPhone.  Here is what happend:
    1-Our family moved.  So, with the address change, the credit cards on all of the apple ID's would no longer work because the other users had our old address. (I have 4 users in the family).
    2-My family started calling me while I was out of town complaining that purchases were rejected.  This was because our address had changed and it no longer matched.
    3-I tried to walk them thru the process of changing the home address on the credit card, but they couldn't do it.  They assured me that they were doing it correctly and were still rejected.
    4-So, being the techie of the family, I simply logged into each of their iTunes accounts from my iPhone while I was out of town and made the address change.  While I was in their  accounts, I noticed they didn't have automatic downloads and iTunes match and stuff.  So, I changed it so it would work for them when they logged back in.
    5-I go back to log into my own account on my iphone and I cannot access my own songs on the iTunes cloud for 90 days!!!!  This is quite disappointing.
    How can I get this corrected?   I tried to reset user settings (not a erase and reset).  I figure it's not my phone, but my iTunes account thinks I'm doing something sharing-wise.
    So, in summary, when I am on my iPhone and I go to my iTunes library and click on a song (that I have paid for) with the cloud and down arrow beside it, it's rejected.  It says that I have too many apple id's associated with this device and I must wait 90 days.  It counts down each day.
    I just want access to the music I paid FOR!!

    Thank you-I will contact support.
    No, I cannot wait 90 days.
    Let me restate what I have to endure, even though I own the music and have paid for iTunes Match:
    I cannot access my purchases-zero-at all
    I have to listen to never ending McDonald's latte commercials and progressive insurance. I have now banned both of those annoying businesses and will not make purchases there.
    In summary, I have given apple my minded, and have zero to show for it.
    Ps-you get to hear the McDonald's "love hate commercial" every 2 songs on iTunes Radio.  I have substituted the words where I hate McDonald's and love when the commercial is over.
