How do I get a tool bar to input the web address I want to open?

I am not trying to be funny, but is Safari open (blue dot under it on the dock)?
If it is, try pressing the escape key (might be in full screen mode).
Also, you might try restarting your computer.

Co-el, This wasn't possible as there wasn't a navigation bar available. The F11 did the trick though. Thanks for adding to the discussion.

The tool bar that has edit, delete view tools etc. and the row below it that had the refresh key have disappeared, how do I get them back?

About 2 weeks ago the tool bar at the top of the page when i log on vanished. Its the toolbar that has copy, edit, view, tools, etc. A week later the next line vanished that has the refresh key and a search line. Now I can't clear cookies, caches, history etc. Please help me restore these bars/lines.

I had this problem too, but someone suggested pressing the F10 key to restore the menu bar. In that under View, there is a place to pick the menu bar and features you want. It worked in my case.

I have a tool bar with "file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, yahoo, tools, & help" at the topp of may FIREFOX, How do it get these moved to a different line?how do I move

Kiosk mode with no tool bars or scroll bars

I have touchscreen information kiosks running Linux.
I need a browser that will ONLY display the website:
No tool bars, NO scroll bars ALWAYS running full screen.
Would it be possible for me, NON programmer to edit config files to achieve this, or do I need a programmer to to write a add-on (There are add-ons, but not for FF 5) that would supposedly do this,
OR
Do I need to find a programmer to re-write a browser application that can do it for me?
The touchscreen website for the kiosks has no keyboard or mouse attached and will ALWAYS ONLY start with a specific index.html page and will NEVER exit the kiosk using a HYPERLINK NOT on the kiosk.

In Firefox 3.6 on Windows you can hide the menu bar via "View > Toolbars" or via the right click context menu on a toolbar.
Press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the menu bar.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the menu bar or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide.

Missing Tool, Format and Formula Bars

I am new to Numbers and cannot figure out how to bring up the Tool Bar, the Format bar and the Formula bar also the Sheets pane on a spreadsheet. Is it because I cannot find the "View" button?

Well, if you don't have the Toolbar showing, then you won't find the View button.
Fortunately, that's not the only place to find "Show Toolbar."
You can also toggle the display of the Toolbar using the keyboard shortcut shown in the menu—option-command-T.

Through facesconfig iam navigating to the other page, some thing like my method returns a striing "success" in faceconfig i made to navigate to page2.jsp if it receives success,

I upgraded from 3.6 and could not get the orange Firefox button but only a grey one with misaligned commands. When I hit View/Menu Bar even this button has vanished and the screen resembles 3.6

I use Win7 on a desktop PC. I upgraded Firefox 3.6 to 4.0. Where there should have been the orange firefox button was a grey button 'Firefox' with a small arrow. on clicking this the commands were there, but not properly aligned. There was also no minimise/maximise/exit buttons on the top right of the screen. I checked 'Help' and found no info. I then turned on View/Menu Bar. The minimise/maximise/exit buttons appeared; the grey button vanished and the screen now resembles FF 3.6. However About tells me that I am using 4.0.
BTW, I also tried various Beta versions in 2010 and abadnoned them because the same problem happened.

The orange Firefox menu button will only appear if the menu bar is hidden. 
Are you using a custom theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes) ?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Can't find the rotate view tool in CS5

Can anyone tell me where the heck the rotate view tool in CS5 is? The "enable OpenGL Drawing" is checked in preferences. It's on the tool bar in CS4! Can't find it anywhere in CS5. HELP!

* If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window

Image window maximize over title bar and tools

Hi,
im working on a PC , with windows 7, with photoshop CS5
i searched everywhere for answer , but none was given..
people did mention this problem, but for different photoshop versions , and, i had it good till i dont know what happened and changed it, so i believe it is fixable but people understood it wrong.
anyhow, the problem is, when you try to maximize the image window (assuming you changed it from tabs), the window maximize all over the screen, over the tools and title bar.
instead of staying inside the workspace.
as i mentioned, it used to be like it , but something happened and now its all over the thing.
i tried double click the hand tool, all sort of things with the "F" and Tab shortcuts, the arrange documents thing on the top, even trying to restore default setting but nothing really did the trick.
i tried to look for something called "Application frame", that somehow suppose to do just that, under window->Application frame, but its not there.
again, it used to be ok so i know there is still hope..
here it is restored, under "fit screen" option, notice it only get the hight right, i would not call it "fit screen" but what ever..
red circels show the title bar and tools.. very nice and cool.
and this is when i hit the maximize button and unleash hell, red circles are where the title bar and tools were, not so nice and cool..
i noticed none of the others gave pictures, so i gave it a go..
please help, there are no words to describe how annoying it is.

If you want the Photoshop main window components to remain visible, either right-click on the image with the Zoom Tool selected and choose "Fit on Screen" (which really fits it inside the Photoshop workspace), or use Tabbed View.
Pressing Control-0 (control zero) is a shortcut for Fit to Screen.
I have no idea why Adobe changed the behavior. Perhaps people reported that it was annoying to have the maximize window button not actually maximize the document window to fill the screen, which is really what it's supposed to do.
