Tool for managing tickets from client

hi,
My Client has implemented SAP in June 2013.And soon after go live they have outsourced 100% work to some agency.
Now problem is that that agency dont have any tool to manage the requests which they are getting from the cleint to process in SAP.
All the Accounts payable ,Gl enteries,PO,GR,MIRO all these kind of transactions that outourced agency is doing. They are getting emails in oulook from the client saying  "please process PO" with attached details, likewise for all other processes.
Using outlook is littele wierd because its big team of 50 people. If 50 people will use one oulook then that will hamer the efficiency and effect SLA's.
Can anybody suggest some local tool to be used by this agency so that they perform in a better way.
Solution Manager and HPQC are not perfect fir for this kind of scenario.
Awaiting for the replies.
Regards,
DS

  • Paperq: a tool for managing a reading queue of academic literature

paperq is a command-line tool for managing a reading queue of academic literature.   It's usage is simple: you add files to the queue and then you run it without arguments to open the next file in the queue. The queue part of the code itself is rather simple but paperq also offers some other nice features:
    Add files (-a option)
    Remove a file (-r option)
Display info on a file. Given a BibTeX file,  print the bibliographic information, otherwise print the file location (-i option)
List all files (or bibliographic information) in the queue (-l option)
Create an archive (tar.gz) of the papers in the queue, prepending the file names with the queue position (-z option)
Operate on any file in the queue, instead of the head, via the -n option
Peek at a file (open it, but don't remove it from the queue) via the -p option
    Print a file (-t option)
    Configurable file-opening command (xdg-open %s, by default)
Documentation is available in the README file or on the website (see below). A man page is also included.
I've been using it myself now that I finally stopped using Mendeley. I find it to be quite handy, so I've packaged it up to be shared with others.

I just uploaded version 1.1.1.  I somehow missed a bug in which the first word of the author list was being chopped off. It's fixed.
marttt wrote:Thanks very much for this! I can finally ditch some of my ugly scripts now. Have you considered adding other bibliographic data formats in the future? (Here is an interesting solution with YAML and Pandoc and, correspondingly, proper UTF-8 support.)
Glad to hear it could be of use to you! Honestly, this also just started out as a quick script but little by little I started adding more handy features.
As for other bibliographic formats, it could be possible. I'm mainly familiar with BibTeX, so I would need to see how the other formats look.
In all honesty, the bibliographic info printing could be greatly expanded: only journal articles are supported at the moment, and mathematical expressions in the titles aren't yet supported (i.e. greek characters).  It might be more efficient in the long run to write a dedicated biblio parsing program that loads some pre-written BibTeX-parsing library rather than all the crazy sed work that's going on in there right now. If that's the case, then it's just a  matter of loading some library for a different biblio file format in order to support it.

  • Tools for easy transition from C-S to CMP-EJB

I am helping some product in the transition from Client server to Enterprize Java Bean technology. We have done research and come to the conclusion to design the Business objects as CMP beans.
Now we are in the stage of doing a small prototype. Well we don't want to spend time in converting the Business objects in to CMP beans manually. So my question is:-
ARE THERE ANY TOOLS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET THAT WILL ACCEPT A BUSINESS OBJECT (IN ANY METADATA FORMAT) AND GENERATE THE ENTITY BEAN AND THE CORRESPONDING XML DEPLOYMENT DESCRIPTOR?
I can see many applications might have this sort of requirement for this transition?
Please reply if you know any such tools.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sangita

We wrote our own. It takes a ddl and an xml file.
I understand that IBM also makes such a tool, though I believe that it is not database design driven. I believe it actually generates ddl.

  • [announce] tool for selecting network from console (netcfg-based)

    Hi all!
I'm happy to announce new 'wifi-select' tool for selecting networks "in real-time" (in NetworkManager manner). I heard on the forums there were requests for such a tool from the users of netcfg. The tool is convinient for use in wifi-cafe or another places you are visiting first (and maybe last) time. Then you don't need to create the file-profile for a new network, just type 'sudo wifi-select eth1' and choose the network you need.
The tool is currently packaged and available in AUR (yaourt -S wifi-select).
    It works as follows:
    - parses 'iwlist scan' and presents list of networks along with its security settings (wpa/wep/none) using 'dialog'.
    - if user selects network with existing profile -- just use this profile to connect with 'netcfg'.
    - if user selects a new network (for example network from wifi-cafe he currently visited), net-select automatically generates new profile with corresponding $SECURITY and asks for the key (if needed). It uses DHCP as $IP by default.
    - then, if connection succeeds, profile is saved for later usage.
    - if connection fails, user is asked if he/she wants to keep generated profile for further usage (for example to change $IP to static or adjust some additional options).
Parsing of 'iwlist' output is done using AWK script (this seems to be clearer than grep+sed in my case). I've put it under /usr/lib/network (where netcfg .subr-files are located).
I sent the scripts to James Rayner aka iphitus (maintainer of netcfg), he was interested and suggested to package the tool in AUR and if there would be some attention and interest -- he would package it in extra.
So, I'm waiting for your feedback and questions.

  • Migration Tool for Contract & PO from R/3 to SRM 5.0

    Hi gurus,
I'm working on an implementation of SAP SRM 5.0 for the following scenario:
    - Plan driven
    - Contract Management
    - Order Management
We actually have 2 R/3 system. We want to migrate contract and PO from this system to SRM and then manage contract & PO into SRM. Following changes on these documents became possible only on SRM. But we want to distribute these changes and new documents from SRM to R/3 systems, working with extended classic scenario (for contract we want to use GOA contract).
Moreover we have another activity to do few months after go-live. In fact we need to close 2 R/3 system and to switch to one new ECC system, in wich we have to migrate existing documents. So we have to convert on these documents organizational structures, vendors, back-end systems and so on...
Have somenone any idea to do it? There is a SAP tool?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best Regards

    Marco,
    ever heard of report BBP_CONTRACT_INITIAL_UPLOAD?
    Excerpt from the initial comment...
    *Purpose:
*This program can be used to upload contracts from ERP to SRM. A
*separate contract in SRM would be created for each successfully
*transfrred ERP contract. Also the list of all the successfully
*transfrred contracts would be maintained in SRM.
    Hope this helps,
    Richard

  • Tool for managing footage on Camera?

I've a Sony HDR CX500 which is an AVCHD camera with 32 Gb internal memory. I'm looking for a (OSX compliant) tool (or way) which I can use to delete bad scenes from my camera without using it's internal menu.
I want to clean up before making a disk image copy to hard disk (backup) and don't want to save all kind of failed scenes.
    Any advice would be appreciated!

  • Is there any tools for move messages from errorqueues in WLS 8.1.5?

    Hello!
I have created a JMSDestination (MyQueue) in my wls 8.1.5.
I have also created an other JMSDestination (MyErrorQueue) in my wls 8.1.5.
In the wls it is possible to specify an "Error Destination:" for a JMSDestination. In my wls I have specified MyErrorQueue as error destination for MyQueue.
If anything goes wrong during consuming message from MyQueue the message will be moved to the error destination MyErrorQueue.
If this situation ever occur, for eg. there is a cable connection loss or something. The error destination will save me alot of trouble.
              Very nice!
But now I wonder if there is any tool or function i wls 8.1.5 that helps me move the message back to MyQueue from the error destination, MyErrorQueue, when the problem is solved.? For eg, when the broken cable is replaced.
Or do I have to write such a application my self? Seems strange since the concept of error destination exists.
              Best regards

    Have a look at this
              http://www.hermesjms.com/confluence/display/HJMS/Home
We use it and it works very well for handling messages on error queues.
Some messages we automatically re-queue using a modified version of this

  • Tools for extracting strings from java code for internationalization

For legacy code with lots and lots of strings what method is typically used to extract strings for internationalization?
Am I right in thinking you couldnt simply grep for strings, it could get pretty complitcated, especially with escape characters, escaped quotes etc.,
    -SK

When dealing with legacy code, it is nice to have an application that queries you as it extracts the strings. You have a choice whether to accept the string as a localizable entity or not.
There are several tools that do this...including some IDEs like JBuilder. Although it isn't a fully supported or robust tool, Sun has a utility for extracting strings in Java source files:
