Tool popups no longer display properly

My DW CS5.5 is not diplaying popup boxes correctly when selected. For instance when I want to insert a Spry data set, the popup is very small and I can't enlarge it. It does not allow me to go through the steps required to perform the function. Here is a screen shot;
Also, when entering a template editable, optional region the display won't allow me to enter the proper information because the form never shows up. (shown below)
I have restarted DW and the computer several times, nothing changes. Any suggestions to solve this?

Disable your extensions with Extension Manager.
If that doesn't help, do a clean re-install.

I use ancestry.com where they have a lot of images of documents - not PDFs - and this morning they no longer display, but instead seem to show underlying html or other code. I noticed in the google home page, the icon for the google apps no longer appears - really odd things are happening. Most web sites are fine. The Edge animation is no longer displaying properly on the Chrome browser

The animation is at www.advantageind.com. It's fine on Firefox or Safari. The gear should rotate in a circle but on Chrome it spins in one spot. It was displaying properly until about 4 days ago. I've had other people look at it on their laptops and desktops in Chrome and they've seen the same problem. I'm using Chrome v.36.
Any suggestions?

it's work fine in Chrome.

HtmlHelp popups do not display properly on Chinese MUI systems

I have the following code that displays properly on a Windows 8.1 Chinese OS, but incorrectly on an English OS with a Chinese Language pack. Any idea why? The code is compiled for UNICODE so that TCHAR=wchar_t. Thanks.

What an odd solution! Do be aware that that file is going to be recreated with a future update:
$ pacman -Qo /usr/share/X11/locale/locale.alias

As far as I can figure out, locale.alias provides alternate names (strings) for valid locales, similar to font or shell aliases. But I've got more than one locale.alias file:
$ locate locale.alias

/usr/share/gettext/intl/locale.alias
/usr/share/locale/locale.alias
The locale.alias that is read last probably determines which alias file takes takes precedence. With the terminal emulators, I might suspect luit. From luit's manpage, under 'OPTIONS':
-alias filename
the locale alias file
(default: /usr/share/X11/locale/locale.alias).

Arabic characters are no longer displaying properly in NB 6.7

Hello all -
Up until NB 6.5.1, my GUI displayed Arabic characters properly as typed. As I shifted to NB 6.7 Beta today, all those Arabic characters are shown as funny binary-looking characters! But, this only occurs when I am running from within the NB space. When I run the application by clicking the jar files, the characters print OK.
Questions:
- Is this happening because it is a beta version may be?
- Is there a way or a place where I have to set some properties to display the Unicode characters correctly?
For example, I thought all I had to do was right-click the project --> Properties --> Source --> Encoding: UTF-8

Hotmail and hughesnet no longer display properly and I can't open my e-mails on either site.

Both sites work properly in Internet Explorer. I think this is related to downloading the latest version of Firefox but I can't be sure.

My artwork no longer displays correctly after updating to iTunes 10.5.

With the most recent iTunes update, the artwork is no longer displayed properly. The songs on my hard drive display fine in iTunes. However, the artwork for songs on my iPod do not display in iTunes (I have limited space on my computer's hard drive, so when I manually add songs to my iPod, I delete them from my hard drive, therefore the songs on my drive and on my iPod are different). Thankfully, the artwork does display properly on the iPod itself. So it is not a corrupted artwork issue. When I am playing a song from my iPod through iTunes, it WILL show the artwork, but ONLY if the playing song is highlighted. Once I highlight another song, the artwork display window goes blank. This is regardless of whether the artwork window is set to "Now Playing" or "Selected Item." Also, if I change the window setting to "Now Playing" and I highlight a song other than the one playing, the window automatically reverts itself back to "Selected Item" and again no longer displays the artwork (unless I go back and highlight the currently playing track). Additionally, when adding artwork through the "Get Info" display for groups of songs, it will not display the artwork in the "Get Info" box after I have added it to the file(s) as it used to do prior to updating the software. This is true for songs both on the iPod and on my hard drive. The artwork is indeed being added, because when I click "ok" and then play (and highlight) the song, the new artwork displays. This is really frustrating! (I should note that I tend not to use "automatically download artwork" because most of the music I listen to is quite obscure and often does not have artwork available by iTunes without me adding it myself).

Why doesn't the IMAQ WindTools display properly in exe?

I'm using the IMAQ Wind Tools in LabVIEW and I'm noticing an odd behavior. The IMAQ Wind Tools do not get displayed properly when using an exe (they work fine in the LV environment). In the exe the Wind Tools window is just a title bar that shows up at the bottom left of the screen even though I specified tools to display.
Attached is an example demonstrating the issue. (Windows 7, LabVIEW 2011 SP1, IMAQ 4.6.1)
Is this a bug in LV or in my code?

I took your project and was able to recreate the issue. This might be a bug, but is there a specific reason you need to run it from the Build Spec itself? Running from the executable is probably a safer debugging technique anyways. Either way, thanks for pointing this out.

View/Resolution/Font is incredibly small resulting in web pages not displaying properly (Facebook) & I can not find internet tools options or compatibility view otions

I've tried different things to adjust this problem on my laptop, but nothing is working. I uninstalled firefox because this was very irritating. I just reinstalled after being away for 2months and the problem still exists. My laptop settings are for normal display and font sizes and everything is normal when I use internet explorer, but when I use firefox...everything shrinks. When I'm on facebook using apps...it gets even smaller and app screens will not display properly. There is no internet options or compatibility view settings on this new firefox that I can find and I'm out of ideas on how to fix this.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Why is my youtube webpage not displaying properly?

My youtube webpage is not displaying properly. its like tthere is only text and thumbnails and the whle webpage is too damn long. The videos don't play when clicked. How do I get PowerPoint presentation to display properly without having PowerPoint?

Suggestions on how to get PowerPoint presentation to display properly aligned on MacBookPro? These are available for download as ppt, pps & pdf
Our co just came out with new presentations in PowerPoint. They are going toward iPad2, & suggest using Documents to Go on an iPad. But I'm trying to play the presentation on my MacBookPro 13" (April 2010), Snow Leopard. I have iWork & so it opens in Keynote which does not display it quite right. The alignment is off--it appears that the relationships between text boxes isn't quite the same. So there is a long table with arrows pointing to the totals at the bottom but the arrows are over the text.
I tried looking at it in Parallels 5 (Win 7) & it opened in Open Office. That looked better, but several slides aren't aligned right. They have horizontal lines between bullet points & the lines "creep" so that as it goes down the page the lines move up closer to the text & then on top of the text.
Not real up on PowerPoint or Keynote, but I'm guessing maybe the resolution or something is different that throws the alignment off. I am learning Keynote but had just dabbled with PowerPoint & of course had played slide shows created in PowerPoint that had been sent to me which usually didn't have as much text. Also if its just me looking at it, I can manage if it isn't lined up right, but to show to others, it needs to look
I need these to display properly since this is something to use with prospective clients. Also the presentation is designed so that different offices can select which slides they want to use. Our office is not using all of them. So I need to be able to select the slides as well as have them display properly.
Wondering if I could choose a power point reader with the pps to play it rather than having Keynote if that would work, but not sure how to do that.
I think the pdf displayed properly, but don't think I can select slides with that.
So how can I be able to select PowerPoint slides, & get them to display properly? At 1st I thought it might be that I didn't have the font used, but it shows as Trebuchet MS which also shows in my font list on the mac side.
I would prefer not to have to buy PowerPoint & would prefer to not have to use Parallels or Bootcamp, although I can if needed. I purchased Outlook 2007 for Windows which I used to use to sync with my old Win mobile phone. thankfully I was able to get rid of that & get an iPhone & now use the iLife aps rather than needing Outlook.
Also related to this presentation are related files that can be downloaded in either mp3 or mp4. I really don't know what the difference is or why choose one or the other.

OK, I found what seems to work. That is to open the actual ppt version of the download (not the one that had already been opened & saved in Keynote) in Open Office. So I had to open Open Office & then navigate to the file to open it so that it didn't open in Keynote.
At a One to One training on Keynote where I asked for help with this today he noted that it showed that the presentation had been created in an older version of PowerPoint--apparently 2003 for Windows which could explain some of the issues.
Opening it in Open office it displayed mostly ok. There were 2 or 3 or so slides where I had to tweak horizontal lines between bullet points that had crept up so some where through the text rather than under it. So I just selected the lines & nudged them into position.
Its not perfect & for some reason, some of the lines seem a hair thicker than others (which I guess I could go back & figure out how to use the line thickness tool to adjust, but think I will leave well enough alone for now).
As near as I can tell, this seems to work about equally well doing this on the Mac side or in Parallels in Windows 7. So will stick with the Mac side.
This allows me to run the slide show with me controlling when the different bullet points, etc display. It didn't have any exotic animations or transitions--just rather plain vanilla ones.

Printing song collections no longer displays artwork

When I add music to my iTunes collection, I create a PDF of the song collection. The resulting PDF has always displayed the album art on the left, and the song list on the right for every album/song in the library.
Ever since the 10.2.1 upgrade, the album art no longer displays...there's an empty box in the spot on the left where the art should be.
Adobe reader properly displays all other PDF's I create, and properly displays the art in previous PDF's that I've created, so the problem appears to be isolated to iTunes 10.2.1.
Has anyone else encountered this, and have you found a solution?

Well, when I saw the popup advising me that 10.2.2 was available, I went ahead and did the update, hoping it would resolve the issue with missing artwork in a printed list of albums/songs, but no go - it still delivers nothing but an empty box where the artwork should be. I did follow Ed's advice and follow the link he provided to report the issue, and I suspect I'm not alone in having done so.
What I don't get is that printing has always worked perfectly until 10.2.1, which is when the artwork disappeared...it should have been a simple matter to examine that subroutine in the code and write a correction.
Perhaps it's time to look for an iTunes alternative....it seems iTunes just isn't "all that", after all?

My vertical Spry is not displaying properly in IE 8

I am working on my first website using Dreamweaver CS4 and my spry is not displaying properly over my flash photo gallery. It looks ok in Firefox (although the borders are missing on my submenu for "sheds tool list") but in IE 8 the submenus can't be seen. How can I correct this?

You flash movie doesn't have the parameter wmode=transparent. If you set that, the menu bar will be on top.

Most, but not all, website no longer display as HTML. This has been happening since I downloaded the latest version of Firefox.

The websites are accessible but do not display as HTML. Mirriam-Webster is one such site, but there are many others. However, this Firefox site and my google mail site, as well as some others, display fine.

Mail icon no longer displays unread message count

The mail icon in my dock no longer displays the number of unread messages. Is there a fix for this?
