Tool used for monitoring Voice Gateways

Hi,
I would like to know which tools that are available to do realtime monitoring for cisco VoiceGateways AS5400.
We would like to monitor trunk utilization/ number of active calls ...
We need a real time monitoring capabilities.

goto MIB Locator, select the IOS version, then platform family, it will
narrow down to a small number of MIB to choose from.
and search for " number of calls" and check the box of " Include object
descriptions in search"
about 21 MIB objects are related. Each one can check the supported
version of IOS.

Perhaps checking the online help or the manuals would help. I can't give you a definitive answer, but let me tell you what I've used it for. Film is normally shot at 24fps. When it's transferred to video it's slowed down to 23.986 fps and then 3:2 pulldown is added (fields are repeated in a particular order) to change the frame rate to 29.97 fps without changing the speed. There are several reasons you might want to remove this pulldown and restore your film to a progressive 23.986 frame rate.
I'd suggest opening the program up and exploring the menus and looking up any terms you don't understand in the manual.

Hi,
There is no specific tool for the upgradation. it dependts on organization. if it has developed its own tool means that is used for the upgradization. noramlly company gets the project based on the presentation of their tool.
our company has a great tool for the upgradization. which find out all unicode related errors and changes that has to be done in new verion.
like this each organization might havedeveloped their tools.

UC 540 use for only Voice

Hi Guys,
One of my customer wants to use the UC 560 just for Voice and they dont have any hand held phones, some use soft phones and others use 7925 wireless phones( all together they have only 15 users) and they have a seperated enterprise wireless Network. Now how do we configure this UC just for voice. In their Core switch they have already configured a Vlan for voice and they are already broadcasting voice SSID in their wireless network as well.
Any ideas...

Just found a way that connect any of the LAN port into Data network. DHCP disable pool on UC and add a static route from Core switch to Voice Gateway. I think it should work... Did I miss anything.. anyway let me try!

Tools use to monitor cisco asa

I just roll out a cisco asa 5540 and use it as a SSL vpn concentrator.
Can i know what tools you use to monitor the cisco ASA, eg account with most number of login attempts, number of fail attempts etc

They of course hope to upsell you to Advanced but the goal is for Standard to be an alternative to RTMT. Useful for monitoring HDV in Final Cut Pro?

Here is a new blackmagic card for HD. Seems like this could be a cheaper way to monitor my FCP timeline. I normally edit HDV shows either natively of as AIC compressed. But I have to monitor it through the "desktop cinema preview" feature which doesn't show interlacing. So I don't really see the true picture I'm editing. This new card would seem to allow me to monitor on a modern consumer TV with HDMI input.
To good to be true?? Probably. What does anyone think?

It's made for capturing other than HDV directly from camera in a live situation... not tape. Once captured as something else, it can be used to send the HDMI to a consumer HD set. Once on tape though, it's HDV all the way. This thing is an odd duck piece of gear used for special setups.... it's not what you need.
What you need is a Matrox MXO, or capture card that will convert the HDV to uncompressed HD or SD for monitoring...

registed the product authorization key on cisco webside they asked for the unity servers mac address but in the e-mail they sent with the instruction on how to load the license they talk about the router or the gateway

I know what you are referring to and that is simply a generic email body that is not specific to individual applications. Rob is correct, the license will be loaded on the Unity server. On Unity, you use the License File Wizard found in Unity Tools Depot to upload licenses to the PRIMARY Unity server (I note Primary in case you have a Unity Failover deployment).

First of all, I think that the term 'SOA project' is a misnomer. There is no such thing. SOA is a state of mind
You need to define what you want to do and then find the right tools for the job. For example, if your architecture states that you want to define all re-usable functionality as services (which is at the heart of SOA), then you need to find the appropriate tools to provide this service. You could code it using ABAP (then your tool would be the ABAP workbench) or you could code it in Java (then your tool could be Eclipse or NWDS). You would expose it as a web service... so your tool could be something like xmlspy to create the wsdl.
In an SAP context, some of the common tools you would need to enable SOA would be the ESR, along with the Composition Environment for service consumption, provisioning or even composite apps.
For service and process design, I use a tool for building UML diagrams and a tool for drawing BPMN -based process maps, and even Visio.
I also use a wiki and a mind-mapping tool for personal productivity.
But all of these could be used on any project, they don't have anything to do with SOA.

Just want to know is there any tool or an application wherein we can create the Voice Diagram for CUCM.
Need to have a detail description/flow chart of CUCM Servers, Groups, Region, DP etc. A diagram which clearly briefs about the setup.

There are certainly tools capable of documenting the current configuration, two examples off the top of my head are Variphy and Uplinx. To my knowledge neither of these provide a graphical diagram of the dial-plan though.

Our system are on distributed environment. Planning to migrate from HP-UX to Linux.
Our customer has decided to perform Oracle Golden Gate for DB migration, Can any one suggest if there are any other tools supported by SAP with minimum Zero Downtime.
Also if any one can share how the Oracle Golden Gate for DB migration and Application migration be performed. I am a new bie to migration.

You can use Test Data Migration Server (TDMS) to transfer data from sender system to receiver system.
You have the option of transferring data in reduced form based on 'time slice (TDTIM)' or 'time slice and company code (TDTCC)'.
You can also copy the full data using the 'full transfer for client specific data' for SAP ERP , CRM, SCM, SRM, GTS.
There's no downtime required in sender system for TDMS.
The requirement from TDMS is that optimal number of background and dialog jobs must be available in the sender and receiver system to achieve better performance. Also the hardware should be good enough to support good performanece. You can get more details on this in note 890797.
And the best results are achieved if the data is selected when the activity is minimum on the sender system. This is possible by executing the Data Selection activity during a lean period in the sender system.
