Toolbar at the bottom of my ipad2 has disappeared???

The toolbar??? At the bottom of my ipad2 has disappeared... How do I get all the icons to show at the bottom again?? Eg photos, mail, safari etc...

How many homescreens have you got - there is a limit of 11 after which apps are only accessible via the search screen, but creating app folders should allow more to be 'visible'.
You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which will re-arrange all your apps and should make it easier to find those apps - but you will lose any app folders that you've created. Or you could try via computer's iTunes : connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and select it on the left-hand side of it, and on the right-hand side of iTunes on the Apps tab you should see mock-ups of the iPad's screens, which might make it easier to find those apps and re-position them.

The loading bar at the bottom of my Firefox browser has suddenly disappeared and I want to reinstall or reactivate it. How do I do this please and what is this bar called? I use the latest version of Firefox 3.6.3 and Windows XP. I have many add ons and I usually automatically install the recommended updates. This problem has never happened before and switching my browser on and off again does not solve the issue.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== I am not sure why this suddenly happened. I think it may have been after my usual updates but I am not sure if that has anything to do with it at all.

Loading Bar? Maybe the URL/address bar where you type sites you want to go to (like www.google.com)? See Navigation Bar below. You may also need to see the first item "Can't see the Menu Bar".
<u>'''Can't see the Menu Bar'''</u> (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help)?
Turning the Menu Bar on and off is a new feature in version 3.6.
''(Linux & OSX see: [[Menu bar is missing]] )''
<u>''Windows'' Method 1.</u> '''''Hold down''''' the key and press the following letters in this exact order: V T M
<u>''Windows'' Method 2.</u> Press and release the key. The Menu Bar will be displayed; then choose ~~red:V~~iew > ~~red:T~~oolbars and click on ~~red:M~~enu Bar.
The Menu Bar should now be displayed permanently, unless you turn it off again using View > Toolbars. Check mark = displayed, NO check mark = not displayed.
    See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Menu+bar+is+missing
<u>'''Navigation Toolbar, Bookmarks Toolbar and other Toolbars'''</u> under View > Toolbars. Clicking on one of them will place a check mark (display) or remove the check mark (not displayed).
<u>'''To display the Status Bar'''</u>, View, then click Status bar to place a check mark (display) or remove the check mark (not displayed).

You can un-install the Mozilla ActiveX control as Firefox no longer uses it and hasn't since, as I recall, version 2. See: [[ActiveX]]
To remove Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, click on the item, click Uninstall, click Restart Firefox in the Extensions window.

my MacBook desktop wallpaper has dissapeared and now its just a blue screen? and my toolbar at the bottom of the screen has dissapeared as well. Please can someone help !!?

    Try restarting your Mac.
If that doesn't help, open a Finder window. Select your Home folder (it has a small house icon) in the Sidebar on the left.
Now open the Library folder then the Prefernces folder.
Move the com.apple.desktop.plist file to the Trash. Restart your Mac one more time.

  • TS3899 Has anyone dealt with a lack of a "Reply" toolbar at the bottom of emails on the iPhone 5??

Just bought the iPhone 5. After adding my Yahoo! Mail account and checking my email, I noticed that none of my emails have a "Reply" option toolbar at the bottom of the email screen and I am unable to compose any emails from the mail app.

    Hi there,
You may need to force close the Mail application when this happens. The next time this happens, use the steps in the article below to coles out of the mail application.

  • On the toolbar at the bottom of my laptop I can not access the volume so I can turn up the speaker!

On the toolbar at the bottom of my laptop there was a "speaker" icon to control the volume.  It has disappeared and I can not get it back.   Using it a lot to buy music for my Ipod and did not do anything to make this happen.

    ...removed my applications folder.
    From where? And to where?
If you trashed it and emptied the trash, what backup, if any, do you have? If it's still in the Trash, move it back.
If no backup, reinstall Snow, which will give you the version as of the DVD you use, then update back to 10.6.8, and run all other needed updates, including any security updates. This should save all your third party programs, as well as settings.
The white puff of smoke is nothing, it only means you moved it out of the Dock. If you still have it, or had it, as soon as you open it it would reappear in the Dock. The item in the Dock is only a kind of alias.

  • My IPhone 4's mailing feature does not display the toolbar at the bottom for deleting, moving, or writing emails. What is wrong with it?

My work recently decided to buy every full time employee an IPhone 4 to be used for work purposes. (I do suspect these are refurbished, but I don't think that matters) I have had no trouble with it, except for on occasion the mailing feature does not display the toolbar at the bottom for deleting, moving, or writing emails. You know what I'm talking about...that bar at the bottom of the mailbox when you open an email that you use to delete, respond, forward, move, etc. It just goes away for no reason, and then reappears for a day or two, and goes away again. It is quite annoying since I can't respond to any of my emails without getting on my work computer. If you have any suggestions, please help!

can I get a full screen on iphoto 11 without the toolbar at the bottom?

It depends on which version of iPhoto you're using.  iPhoto 7 and earlier  the answer is yes.  iPhoto 11, no..  If you're using 11 and want to complain the send your requests to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

My first step would be to get rid of "Norton protection". Boot from your OS 10.6 disc, navigate through your hard drivve and trash anything that is Norton. Empty the trash.
Next, run Disk Utility and ask it to repair the hard drive.

Standard troubleshooting steps in order are as follows - checking after each one to see if the problem is resolved:
Power your iPad off and on.
A reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPad with iTunes from your iPad's backup.
Restore your iPad with iTunes as a new iPad or not from your iPad's backup.

The icon I had for Firefox in the quick launch task bar has disappeared. I am running XP Pro on a AMD dual core desk top computer. My internet provider is Verizon.

    Just once or twice
== I clicked on the icon

In my case, the icon is still in the quick launch, but it's just the icon that windows uses when it can't find the right one. When I locate the firefox exe file, it has no icon
