Toolbar boomarks missing, I can't load restore them
I had to restart my computer due to some issues. When I loaded Firefox up it looked off. My toolbar bookmarks were missing from their spot. They are supposed to be there, the option is checked. Under bookmarks the toolbar folder it's empty, all other bookmarks are there. I went to restore from the automatic updates but it said it was unable to load them. Not only are the bookmarks missing, so is my history, and any reference to said bookmarks in the drop down address bar.
I tried making a new profile, none of the bookmarks are there. I don't mind making a new profile if I can somehow recover all of my bookmarks.
Please help, I really need them back!

I want to implement in process wizard using JSF. I have created a button panel which have "Back", "Next","Finish","Cancel" and "Help" button and also have create a process indicator which indicate the current page by highlighting.

I lost all my emails. I was deleting specific ones on my Mac mail and accidentally deletaed all. I wonder if Time Machine can restore them and how to do it if so. I have OS X 10.6.8. Thank you for any help.
Yes it can; it restored mine from time to time.
Go to your email pages, then open Time machine. It should open with a rather narrowed version of the page but decipherable all the same.
Once the grey time scale appears, scroll up until you reach the approximate date or the date of the missing mail. Highlight the mail then click restore.
Clearly it could be a long job to do all of them and I don't think there is a form of consolidated restoration.

The toolbars on my firefox are gone. I can't do anything with it and have to use Internet explorer for now.

Iphone music missing and can't be restored by synching
Noticed that my iphone music is now gone and not able to be restored by synching with itunes. All versions updated (iphone 4.3) Also, have gotten error message 13019 at the end of synching for months now. Not sure if it's related. Suggestions?

Apple Menu items are missing. How do I restore them?
My Apple Menu is missing some items. Not sure of all that may be missing, but the ones that I use that are missing include "System Preferences," "Restart," and "Shutdown."
System Preferences is still installed and available from the Applications folder, and I can restart or shutdown the system in other ways, but I'd sure like to get those items back on the menu.
I'm not what caused this, but I did some system maintenance including an iDefrag full defragmentation and some tweaking in Onyx. Can't say I know at which stage this happened, but the system seems to be behaving normally but for the missing items.
System is a Macbook Pro 17-inch, Mid 1009, running OS X Mavericks 10.9.2.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.As it turned out, restarting the system didn't help, but shutting down and starting again did. Not sure if there's a difference between a restart and a shutdown+start, but I know there is a slight difference between a warm boot and a cold boot on PC, so maybe there is.
Anyway, the problem solved without major surgery. This specific option of removing the System Preferences menu item isn't available in Onyx, though removing the Restart and Shutdown options are (which I did not select). So, I guess I'll chock this up to an anomaly.

I started up my iMac G5 this morning, and all the icons to the right end of the tool bar are missing, namely time counter, bluetooth logo, volume slider etc
are missing. Do I have to re-install the startup disc to get them back?For Bluetooth, Time and volume, go to System Preferences and click on them there, select "show in Menu Bar" you will then see them in the Menu/tool bar again.

I have found backups in bookmarks backup file, which is a start, but I am unclear how to restore from there. How do I do it.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

The class that is "missing" (TextBoxField) is very definitely there in the usual place under WEB-INF/classes. I can't figure out why it can't be loaded. The weird part is that a lot of the code still works, but these errrors have broken many of the major functions of our software.
On a hunch I realized that perhaps Creator 2.0 was using some 8.1 specific libraries to build, so I replaced the following libraries with versions found in my appserv tree:

The Insert panel has been reworked pretty significantly in DWCC (Spry has been dead for over a year now, so it no longer appears for instance), but can still be opened via Window > Insert then dragged to the toolbar location (to get the tabs back) by clicking and dragging the Insert tab up to the top of the application frame until it highlights. Once you drop it, it will then appear as a toolbar.
Not all of the tools will be visible at all times. DWCC knows when certain things can't technically be used and it won't display them if they can't be inserted.

Suddenly my Java plugin is missing and i can't load any Java with Firefox at all, even though i have it enabled in the browser! i've tried loading in java embedding plugin, but it doesn't work. what should i do???
It's not in Tools> Add-ons >plugins? Should be Java Plug-in 2 for NPAPI browsers 13.5.0. What are you seeing there? I don't think it's called the embedding plugin any longer.
Might try getting the Firefox 5 standalone application. Trash the current one and replace it. Doing this won't affect your Profile or any settings.

EDIT. Oops, may be different for 10.5.8. Was thinking recent Java update for 10.6. But try installing a new app anyway. In the past, this got me the latest Java plugin. -
Yesterday, while playing Mafia Wars, I kept getting a bar notification that "The game can not load completely because you are missing a plugin? When I clicked on the box I got an 1/2" popup, which probably contains the information I need but it is too small to find out what it is. You can not maximize it. The is nothing visible to click on. Flash and Java are all up to date, as well as all other plugins. No plugins are disabled. How can I find what I am missing?

My icon for clock and APP Store are missing. How can I restore them?
I think a family member inadvertently deleted several built in apps. I tried.syncing with I cloud and my PC, but was unable to restore them. I know the clock app and the app store are missing. Do I have to reset to factory defaults or is there some easier way to recover these?
There is no built in clock app on the iPad.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and if you have restrictions enabled, you may have disabled installing apps and the app store icon will not be present on the iPad.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for it if it isn't restricted.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
