I'm facing the following issue in ITS Mobile service. where the white spaces between the form elements are not reduced though ~DYNPRO_COMPRESSION is set to 1.
The solution i nthe following thread SAP ITS Mobile - Layout Styling Issue works fine for custom programs, but my internet service makes use of standard programs , so it is not advisable to edit the standard programs. And also tried to constrict the gaps by using a custom css-stylesheet, but all the efforts in vain.

1. getting the scanned EPC value in the cursor position on the screen if datawedge application running in background but as soon as the EPC value appears int he field, the screen turns to "Page not found error" ( though in screen sequence next screen available) in short the problem is after getting EPC value in cursor field, without waiting for user/system action the page goes out.
2. I want to write the EPC value on the RFID tag using the handheld but its not happening
3. does the RFID handheld returns any value when EPC written succesfully on the tag ( such as tag written successfully )
your inputs will be really useful for me.

hi,
can somebody tell me how to get all the fields in one vertical column in sap its mobile
i am working on transaction MB01.
i have used ~ITSMOBILEELEMUNITS px and
~ITSMOBILEELEMFACTOR 6. but i still get lot of space between each field.
pls help its urgent.

Try using the parameter:
DYNPRO_COMPRESSION

This feature is only available with style MOBILE4
If you wish to remove lines containing no visible elements that are still visible on the screen then set ~DYNPRO_COMPRESSION service parameter to the value of "1" in the GUI Configuration section of the ITSMobile service in transaction SICF.

SAP screen is displayed in ITS mobile

Hi friends,
I am new to ITS mobile. I am getting 2 errors The error is given below.
1. ITS mobile displays SAP screen.
2. ITS_REFERENCE_NULL:
Template "itsmobile\99\rlmenu_2088.html" has caused a runtime error in
function "label". Cause of
error: Variable "~object_name" ("context field") could not be referenced..

Because of the following default cuaarea code (of core itsmobile internet service) in the template:
if ( ~itsmobileNoCuaInclude != "1" && ~itsmobileNoCuaInclude != "X" ) 
include(~service="itsmobile", ~language="", ~theme="99", ~name="include/cuaarea.html");
The SAP logo occurs by default. If you want to remove this you will have to override this cuaarea area file in your internet service, ie,
1. create another similar cuaarea file under your own internet service
2. make modifications in it to remove the code for the SAP logo
3. give the name of your service and path to the new cuaarea file instead of the above bold code.

I have a requirement in SAP Mobile Asset management and already we have SAP MI(Mobile Infrastructure), in this project SAP r/3 is sits in Backend, SAP Netweaver is Middleware
Basically i would have experiance on ABAP ,in last project i created zBAPI..,i know how we can communicate with SAP R/3 to External Applications..
here my doubt is i want to know where i need to create ZBAPI whether in SAP Netweaver or SAP R/3 ????
SAP Netweaver already have JAVA and ABAP , here can i create ztable,rfc,ZBAPI in netweaver or we need to use SAP R/3., how was the communications will be SAP netweaver to sap r/3..???

ITS Mobile - how to prefill and skip selection screen

Hi there,
I am struggling with requirement for ITS mobile service:
I need to fill the input fields on selection screen with values from url and automaticaly jump to the second screen.
I know this is possible with ITS as described [here|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=22375].
Can I use similar approach for ITS mobile? How could I parse url parameters into input fields?
If this is not possible, what are my other options?

that is not an option - the ITS mobile service will be called from an external system providing some parameters in URL.

ITS Mobile Date Field Problemn

In ITS Mobile I developed a screen which contains a date field. I click question button to select a date, it opens a new screen which includes a calendar. But I can not select a date because no clickable days in new date selection screen. What can i do for this problem.

I cant start SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1

I explain my situation.
I downloaded SAP NWM 7.1 from here

And downloaded next creme version:
CrE-ME412_ARM_CE42_PPC
I just follow the instruction from the next post:
Basicly,
1.Install Crème cab file
2.Install MINDB cab file
3.Install pda_runtime_wince.cab
4.Install pda_eswt_container.cab
When i start the NWM its appear a message "Creme is Running..." but next nothinh happens.
I see my log file and it says:

Prblem is on your windows mobile 6.0 / 6.1. WM 6.0 /6.1 is not officially supported by SAP MI client yet. But eventhough we were able to bring up the MI client on WM 6.0 . You need to install the correct CrEme version using the below download link:

You have to use the CrEme 4.1.2 for Netweaver Mobile 7.1 .
Alos you need to use the correct MI client CAB file for the MI client installation.
We used MI Client SP 13 version for Windows Mobile 6.0 or try SP 20 . Either one of them will work.

SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1 is a Ramp-up version?

I'm learning SAP Netweaver Mobile technology and I'm a little confused with that subject.
There are a lot of information, but when I read about it I found that:
1) DOE Data Orchestration Engine (the new name of MI server) runs on SAP Netweaver ABAP 7.1 ... but there isn't a such ABAP AS version currently! The latest is SAP Netweaver AS 7.0, isn't? So .. it's general available this version or it will be available later?
2) Can I configure SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1 on SAP Netweaver AS ABAP 7.0?

Just for the sake of clarity,
1. Its not a new name for MI(NW MI 7.0) nor its a new version of MI. NW Mobile 7.10 also called as the Data Orchestration Engine(DOE) is altogether a new platform that is slated to be the successor of MI 7.0. You should be able to see the NW Mobile 7.10 installation in the SAP service market place and its part of SAP_BASIS 7.10 packaging. As Siva mentioned in the above reply, its out of ramp-up and is in general availability for anyone.
2. I'm not sure if both MI 7.0 & MI 7.10 can be configured on the same AS as the version of SAP_BASIS differs. Ideally you should have a dedicated landscape(D-Q-P) for 7.10.

What i want to know is how or what do you need for to setup and run SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1?, where does the Data Orchestration Engine & Mobile Administrator come? are these components of Netweaver AS? and what is the composition environment and Netweaver developer studio is needed for. Hi Malinda,
the whole Netweaver Mobile 7.1 comes as its own software package. It is a real product which sits on top of other components (like Netweaver CE for the mobile designtime or the AS ABAP for the DOE).
In order to install Netweaver Mobile there are basically two options. The right one depends on your case:
- You can download the Netweaver Mobile 7.1 trial version from sdn. It contains the designtime and client runtime components. But it excludes the DOE in order to keep the setup for trial simple. It is available here (including a set of documentation):
