TOOLBAR QUESTION...PROBABLY NOT THAT IMPORTANT...

I've noticed in all the tutorials, that the toolbar has four differently colored circles. These do not appear on mine. Believe me, this is the LEAST of my problems with CS5, but just curious.

The world does not revolve around me, but if I have a complaint, or need assistance with something I should not have to put up with being treated like I don't matter if I've been part of the reason for the success of the company I'm talking to!! And unfortunately, Verizon's new MO has changed, and they no longer seem to care about their actual customers, and forget it is their customers who make their company! What needs to happen is they need to reevaluate their new policy on customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week I had to sent a lot of messages and do a lot of phonecalls. At the end I had to sent 2 last messages to person A en B. In the past I could send successfully to both persons with the numbers I had from them. The message to A was successfull, but for B it failed. I tried to resend 2 more times to B, both failed with error 'message sending failed'. I didn't really mind, because the message was not that important.
Today : I sent an important message to person C. Last week I could succesfully send to her, but now it failed just like it did with person B. I do remember seeing the 'message sending failed', then I saw a list that contained the name of person B 3 times. These were probably the old messages that were still waiting ? However, I did not see person C in that list.
To see if my phone still worked, I sent a message to my own number. There was no error, and it arrived a few seconds later. When I look in my 'sent items' list, I see indeed messages to myself, to person A, B en C . The 3 messages to person B have a red exclamation mark next to them, probably suggesting there was an error. All other messages have 4 blue dots next to them, probably suggesting they were sent fine. The message to person C thus also has 4 blue dots.
So, even if I just saw an error after trying to send to person C, it could still be possible that the message was sent a little bit later ? I'm just confused about the conflicting information here. There was an error after the sending attempt, however the 'sent item' looks like a correctly sent message.
I have other ways to contact this person, but this is just a situation where I could look impatient or rude if I have to ask through other ways whether she has received my message. So I hope others here can diagnose this based on my story..

do you have message reports switched on?
is these numbers entered in the correct format in your phone,can you call these number from your phone?
another thing your network may not support sending messages to so many contacts at one go.

Whenever I try to open iPhoto, a message comes up saying that 148 photos have been found in the iPhoto Library that have not been imported. It asks me if I want to import them and I say NO but then it places them in a recovered photo folder. I keep deleti

Whenever I try to open iPhoto, a message comes up saying that 148 photos have been found in the iPhoto Library that have not been imported. It asks me if I want to import them and I say NO but then it places them in a recovered photo folder. I keep deleting the empty recovered photo files but it just keeps asking me every time I go to open iPhoto! I'd love to just get rid of the "found" photos (I can't open them anyway!)
How do I get rid of them so that I can just open iPhoto straight up without this?

Open your iPhoto Library package with the Finder.

look for a folder titled Import or Importing and move it to the Desktop. Launch iPhoto to see if the message goes away. If there is no message check the contents of the Import folder to see if you want to keep any of those image files (usually they have not been imported into iPhoto). If you want to keep them then drag the folder into the open iPhoto window to import.

I cannnot delete the account because "find my iphone" wants the password linked to this old account. But when i go into the find my iphone app it is using my corect Apple ID. How do i fix this?

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You can either go to https://expresslane.apple.com, select "More Products and Services", then "Apple ID", then on the next page select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Lost or forgotten Apple ID password" and click "Continue"; or you can contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

How did they get there and how do you know that they are there?
If they were not imported and iPhoto is not aware of them then you can be sure your current backup is up to date and tested, quit iPhoto and drag them to the finder trash - But be very careful because if you trash any items that iPhoto knows about you will corrupt your library
Before you empty the trash, launch iPhoto again and be sure everything is working correctly
It is recommended that you never modify the iPhoto library using anything except iPhoto or iPhoto aware programs like iPhoto Library Manager including adding, modifying or deleting items, files or folders within the iPhoto library
Your current case may be one of the very unusual exceptions to this - if they were put there without iPhoto's knowledge

The email address associated with the questions to reset the answers is no longer available to me. It is my old college email. Does anyone know how to change this email? The unavailable email is not in my list of emails approved in my Apple ID settings.

You cannot and need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

When i open iphoto i get a message saying "a photo has been found in the iphoto library that has not been imported, would you like to import it?" I have tried what everyone is saying to do, but when i look under show package contents there is no import folder to move. only a folder that says contents and i've looked all through that, still no import folder. Even though i click no i do not want the photo imported it still is stored on my external hard drive and every so often i have to go delete TONS of photos and when you click on the photo it doesn't even actually show up as anything.

You're looking at the iPhoto.app package. Those instructions are for the iPhoto Library package. That's in your Pictures Folder.

To 64 bit or not, that is the question...

I'm finally able to build a new sytem and am wondering if 64 bit offers any advantages over what I'm doing now given what I do with a computer. First, lets get my specs out of the way so that if anyone with similar interests can possibly help me on this decision. As an added note, not that it makes a difference one whit, I'm going to be liquid cooling and a tad bit of overclocking may be involved.

Now for what I use my system for. I'm heavily involved in graphics. I use both the GIMP and Inkscape intensively and to their limits (which is my main reason for my new build), so this was my main reason for the quad as I've discovered that my benefits may be extraordinary. That coupled with a buttload of ram (4 gigs) should give me a bit of futureproof to the bottlenecks I've been experiencing with my P4 1.5 from about 7 years ago that I've been experiencing lately. I've also been known to compile extensively just due to the fact that I prefer more bleeding edge features. I enjoy a challenge and will be willing to try out the latest widgets but am nowhere experienced enough of a programmer to try and rewrite an entire program that I didn't start to begin with.
So, can you expound on my dilemma and elaborate to the point where I can reach an informed solution?

your recognition skills are superb, it's Czech - the CZ version seems to be translated version of the same article, the EN version has a bit more information, so it seems someone updated the English original sometime after the Czech traslated the article...

Warranty and support is only valid in the country of origin. The only exception being the EU where a device bought in any EU country can get warranty or service in any EU country.
Warranty is determined by device (serial number), no documentation required.
Apple does not repair devices, they replace them. For that reason, ensure the device is backed up and any pictures take with the device are copied off the device prior to going in for service.

Photos that have not been imported message

Every time I launch IPhoto a message appears that there are photos that have not yet been imported. I click yes to import and a new message appears that says the photos are unreadable. IPhoto then creates a new album titled "recovered photos" which is empty. How can I stop this?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Control-click on the iPhoto Library package/file and select "Show Package Contents" from the resulting menu:

Look for a folder titled "Import" or "Importing" and move it to the Desktop ( NOT "Auto Import"). Do not move or otherwise alter anything else in the library.
Close up the library and launch iPhoto. That warning should be gone. Look in the "Import" folder and see if the image files there are those you want to keep. If so drag them into the open iPhoto window to import. Otherwise, drag the folder to the Trash.

Also check with:
Get-Mailbox -Identity CEO’s mailbox

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.
