Toolbar visibility button (lozenge)?

greetings,
just transitioning from 10.6 to 10.7. many subtle surprises, not all of them good...
this is driving me nuts.
where has the "show/hide" toolbar button or lozenge gone in the title bar in 10.7? on MBPro, screen real estate is still a valuable resource when having multiple windows open. with toolbars in every window, it wastes enough screen viewing area that i can't see enough of the editing areas i need to work on across multiple docs. this affects not only the finder but other programs too. for example, in excel 14, with 2 files open, the heights of the cells sometimes are bigger than the viewable area because the toolbars take up too much space. i used to use the toolbar visibility lozenge to hide the unnecessary items in order to view and edit as much area as i could.
i didn't find any other posts on this topic yet...
is there some kind of setting now to display the toolbar visibility lozenge?
i appreciate any suggestions-

i was afraid of something like that. i don't think every program i use has a "veiw" menu...
i don't suppose anyone knows if there is a utility such as tinkertool that reveals this as a hidden option?

Problem in crystal report viewer control's toolbar "export"button using SSL

I would like to ask. My project is using BO XI Release 2 and VS-Studio 2005. Initially my project doesn't use SSL... At that time when i view the report with crystal report viewer control and can export (using built-in toolbar "export button"). Now project is using SSL and canu2019t export the error is
u201CInternet Explorer cannot download file from server.
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.u201D
Actually this error can solve "Cache-control" change to "no-cache". But I donu2019t know in crystal reportu2026

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced and ensure "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is unchecked.
Default is to have that option checked.
It was considered a IE security issue that IE saves all content to temp disk location unencrypted, even those pages served by HTTPS (for example, let's say you use HTTPS to download your bank info, and it's stored to temp disk for someone else to retrieve later). So more recent versions of IE implemented that option setting.
How that option setting works is strange - it downloads the file, saves to disk, then deletes the copy from the disk immediately, before passing it to the application responsible for the MIME type. So the application tries to open a directory path to a non-existing file.
Issue is specific to IE, and it's not something you can control via the SDK.

How can I change the way the Toolbar Mail-button behaves?
I want it to open my Gmail account, in HTTP... is this possible?

What exactly are you talking about?
Try reading the question - it's quite clear exactly what he's talking about.
He wants the Email Page button (that he's added to the Safari toolbar) to use GMail, rather than open the Mac's default email client.
I've read that the Google Notifier lets you do this:

Not sure what you mean by a 'Toolbar control button'.
Most commands, like customizing or hiding the Toolbar, are in the View menu of Safari.

Hide Toolbar Print Button

I'd like to hide the toolbar print button from the user to force the user to use the forms print button which is used to validate input. I've found this peice of code.

I've added this code in the print buttons click event. But it doesn't hide the print button in the Adobe Reader or when viewed with IE.
1) Is that the right code?
2) I'd like to add this to the forms ready or layout ready events but can't seem to determine where the script can be added for these two events. Where is that done at?
If there's a better technique for validating form feilds without nagging the user everytime they tab off a field but insuring the form is validated before printing or saving I'm open to suggestions, :-).

This won't work in a web browser or a standalone client unless you are running a trustedFunction which resides on the local machine within a Folder Level JavaScript.

Audio won't play on iPad without a visible button?

I'm having some similar issues as others asking audio questions. I have a fixed layout EPUB that has a few sound effects files. I wanted these to be hidden for surprise discovery by kids. I made empty boxes overlying the images on the page into buttons that play the sound if touched. (Example touch an animal and hear a sound). That works perfect in Ibooks in the Mac, but on iPad, I can only get the sound to play if there is a visible button to push.
Is having an invisible button for audio not possible iPad?
What if I turned the image itself into a button?
I also have a sound effect that is triggered by an animation and plays on page load. This does seem to work correctly.
Any help is appreciated!

You may be out of luck on Mac because an audio tag is used to play the media files and this media format may not be implemented yet on Mac.
You could try to copy the link and open the file in an external media player.
You can open the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer).
Paste the JavaScript code in the command line and press the Enter key to run the code.
That should show the URL of the media file

If there are multiple players then use this code and adjust the number [#]

How to trace toolbar find button icon pressed or click?

Hi Experts,
I am not able to trace the event "toolbar find button icon pressed or click" for my UDO generator form.
My problem:
i hv a UDO generator form, in which i hv taken a picturebox. when i add picture or update picture it is added or updated successfully. but when i click on the find button of toolbar menu of sbo, then the picturebox should be blank ie. there should be no picture shown in picturebox. but, in my form the picture is not disappearing.
Please help me out.

Why does my toolbar firefox button stop working when i upgrade?

I upgrade to version 22.0 and my toolbar Firefox button no longer starts the browser.
This also happens after microsoft upgrades some new security upgrade.
I do believe microsoft is trying to sequester your browser usage..

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that all the toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

How to upload an icon for a toolbar push button

I'd like to be able to define/upload an icon that I can use for a new push button on a toolbar for the FB03 screen.
1) How can I upload the button icon?
      From here?
      ABAP User Dialogs ->Screens ->Complex Screen Elements ->GUI controls on screen
      Or somewhere totally differently?
2) What file format does a button icon need to be in and what is the suggested pixel size?

In Module Pool Programming (Or Dialog Programming) we can set the icons to buttons in the Menu Painter (SE 41).
Go to SE41 and select the FCODE for which you want to upload icon. Double Click on the FCODE it will POP a Screen
in which you can see the field to upload icon.

Interactive PDF Layer Visibility Buttons Not Working On iPad

I've created a document in Indesign CS6 and exported the layers to pdf. I created a button in acrobat pro to change a layers visibility. The pdf is intended to be viewed on an iPad and the button wont work. It does however work perfectly on my desktop. Does anybody have a work around?

There is little to none support for scripts and other advanced features of PDF files on iOS devices, unfortunately.

Why can't you make the bookmark toolbar visible by default?????

I went to organize my bookmarks and there is no toolbar. Now, you say it is hidden by default. That's crazy. Anyway, I can't follow the instructions. There is no Firefox button to click. There is no "options" option anywhere.
I can't even set my default options for applications, or the Internet. That's gone too. Will you please ;make these helpful tools VISABLE BY DEFAULT! If not, why not?

Thank you very much, Car-el. If others had told me this, the problem would have been solved three days ago! However, I wanted to rename a folder, and I don't see that this is possible. I would think that after one goes to the "Show All Bookmarks" one could change the name in the "folder name" text box and it would work, or right click on the actual folder one wants to rename and the pull down would have that option. Not so for either here. So, my problem is still not solved. Oh, well.

Using application toolbar push buttons in report

Hello folks,
I'm new to ABAP and so i'm facing some problems with my code.
I have copied a standard program to my Z program (ZXXXXX). I have added few push buttons to the application toolbar of the Z program (ZXXXXX) and now on click of the 1st button i need to call another standard program.
Where should I write the code for the action to be performed on click of the buttons? I am aware that it is generally written in the PAI module but I did not have this module, its a normal report program and not a module pool.
Need your help.

As for the question, you would need to clarify where this application toolbar option is placed:
- in selection screen?
- in list (output of program)?
If first applies, do as above suggested (using AT SELECTION-SCREEN event).
If second is what you need, use event AT USER-COMMAND .
In both cases variable sy-ucomm will hold function code of triggered function (i.e sy-ucomm = 'MY_BUTTON' ). If that condition is fulfilled simply use SUBMIT 'MY_PROGRAM' AND RETURN , or just SUBMIT 'MY_PROGRAM' if you don't want to get back to calling program.
