Toolbars changing color hues while using Chrome?

I've noticed recently that when using Chrome, the toolbar and display color elements will shift to a blue-ish hue depending on the website. I attempted to take a screenshot however it's not detectable as it's contained only to the App being open, so I have included some iPhone photos:

Maybe this will help. If you monitor the "More Like This" box, other solved threads appear. Opening them usually displays other threads.

Mac Mini 2011 crashing often while using Chrome and Firefox

I have a Mac Mini 2011. OS is Yosemite 10.10. Processor 2.3 Ghz Intel Core i5. 8GM RAM 1333 MHz DDR3. It crashes often especially while using Firefox or Chrome. Basically it just hangs showing the beach ball. Then we have to turn it off and on.
How should I debug the problem?
Note: Although recently I upgraded RAM from 4 to 8 GB, the crashes were happening before that activity.

When it next crashes note the time. Then reboot and open the Console app (in Utilities folder). Look for suspicious log entries at the time of the problem and post them here

2013 MBA running hot while using Chrome?

I have a 2013 MBA core i7, 8gb ram. Whenever I use chrome to surf the web my computer gets really hot. But when I use safari, the computer gets much cooler. What seems to be the problem with chrome?

Text color changes after render while using timecode generator/VF tool

I'm having a problem with the timecode generator/viewfinder tool. When I have both a Gaussian Blur (set on something other than Alpha + RGB) and a VF or Timecode generator effect in the filters, it seems to create a bug where the color I want for the viewfinder (REC) text shows up correctly pre-render, but changes to an arbitrary color after the render. For example, when I set the color to red, it becomes cyan after rendering. Anyone else experienced this problem or have a solution? Thanks.

Mountain Lion change color profile when use discrete video card

MacBookPro mid 2010. Update Samsung SSD 830.
Mountain Lion 10.8.2 just installed (new installation).
Reset PRAM and SMC. Done. No result.
Try with GfxCardStatus. No result.
When the system uses the discrete video card changes the color profile.
I'm not the only one with this problem.
Someone managed to solve the problem (really)?
I DO NOT ACCEPT COMMENTS OR ANSWERS USELESS.

Let's see...
Sounds like you're running into an expected issue if you make an alias to removeable media. The same thing would happen if you made the alias to a folder on a DVD-R disc or CD-R. If you eject the original, you disable the alias.
If you copy the entire SD card volume to your drive, the PRIVATE package should copy across. Then, as a folder on your hard drive rather than a volume on removeable media, you could make an alias to the STREAM package for quicker access later.
I'm pretty sure that Handbrake, like Prmeiere Pro, can see the MTS files directly. That is, it's not dependant on the other folders in the PRIVATE directory sturcture. As such, you could copy the contents of the STREAM package to another folder on your drive. Just be mindful of the default MTS file names if you're using more than one SD card (you don't want to accidentally copy 00001.MTS from one card over 00001.MTS from another card).
As long as Handbrake sees MTS directly, you could even rename the MTS files after you've copied them.
On a side note, I almost always archive my SD cards with the data structure intact. More often than not, that file structure is important to corretly access the video stored within that structure. If something unexpected happens while working with the MTS files, it is good to have the original file structure to go back to. Although, SD cards are getting to be so low cost that sometimes I just label the SD card and store it for archiving.

My toolbar changed colors in Safari for Windows

My entire menu bar, toolbar, and bookmarks bar is now a weird beige / yellow color. Anyone have any idea what's up? I'm using Safari 5.0.2 on XP. No other browser is affected, my theme remains the same, and I can't find a preference that affects this. It only changed on the last update of Safari for Windows.

I've the same "problem". Everything is in an ugly Beige/yellow colour. I'm using 5.0.4. I have no idea how to change it, and I have tried a lot of things. On my laptop, I use a older version of Safari, there is everything in a kind of silver colour.

Win8.1, firefox is changing color temperature while scrolling/or changing tabs over different colored webpages

windows 8.1 firefox 35.0.1 is chaning the color temperature across the whole screen(including the bottom start bar) while browsing(scrolling) and/or when changing tabs between a light(white) and darker pages.
I've searched google and firefox settings without finding any information about this. I'd like it removed as I find it somewhat annoying
but where are the settings?

If this is only happening in Firefox then try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Animated gif changes color palette while playing

Hi everyone,
I've been creating animted gifs using Matlab and the ImageMagick suite (convert). If I open the gifs in Preview, the color comes out fine in each frame; however i I use Quicktime (which is necessary, that's what we use for presentations) the color palette will change as the frames play.
I just got the newest version of Quicktime, hoping that it would solve the problem, but it didn't. Any ideas?

I'm not familiar to the software but I can guess what is happening.
Too many colors. A GIF is 8 bit (256 colors) but some of them are not used by all software. Windows and Mac's are different.
Does the software offer a way to reduce the number of colors used? Can you get it down to 8 bit? Can you discard unused colors with some other software?
Have you considered building an image sequence movie? These allow many different images formats and support up to 32 bit formats (millions of colors).
QuickTime Pro ($30) can import a series of images as a movie. The file size is much smaller than any video format used today (just the total of the images file size).

I think you need use CHANGED as value for CRITERIA. I don't think NW doesn't support CHANGED value for CRITERIA i guess.

Lock change of ztransaction while using in migo

in general how do we stop change of a document while it is edited in other transaction .
Ex : if PO number is in use while doing MIGO it will stop us editing in ME22n.
i have a similar requirement , we have a modulepool program ZMRN_CREATE, ZMRN_CHANGE jst like ME21n ME22n .
the number generated here is used in MIGO , how can i stop editing or change of MRN number while it is in use in MIGO screen.

My iPad 2 went to the lock screen while using Chrome?

I was using the Chrome browser on iPad 2 when it suddenly turned to the lockscreen. It kept doing that for about... Four times. It stopped for a bit now, but I'm not sure if I just accidentally pressed the power button or it's a real problem. I don't know if it's just the Chrome browser or all the apps in general. Help?

Can I change my website while using Mavericks?

Created website with iWeb 3.0.4. Website hosted by Go Daddy. Current OS is Mavericks. Can I upload/publish changes from computer using Mavericks? Am afraid I might wipe out published site if I try to upload changes.

Whether you publish the entire site or just the changes you won't wipe out your website. The publish entire site will just replied all files on the server with new ones. The publish changes will just upload those new or modified files.
Sometimes if you have problems upload newly added files a "publish entire site" is necessary.

How can i change net mask while using dhcp??

Hi guys! Newbie here. I am having a problem that i can't find an answer to. I am in a college network with dhcp. in this network we have many workgroups. I can see all of them. But i can only explore 2 of the 17 workgroups. I am guessing it is the subnet mask but i am not sure.
here is the relevant part of rc.conf

Well I guess u can say problem solved. the problem must have been with the DNS cause smb://192.168.0.xxx works. I only need to explore the three main servers so I dont need to figure out what the problem with the dns is. Thank u for your help guys!
