Yolu have posted in the PPC area, and if you do, in fact, have a PPC, you can't migrate to Lion, it only works on intel machines. In addidition, you need to be running Snow Leopard (10.6.x) if you have an intel in order to install Lion.

Which tool is support Discoverer performance/load testing

Hi,
Any one can tell me which tool is supporting the oracle discoverer for olap 10.1.2.48 performance / load testing.
We are using one of the third party tool called QALOAD. We are unable to trace the discoverer session.
We wanna perform 50 concurrent users peformance test.
is oracle is recommending any tool for performance on the discoverer for olap 10.1.2.48??.
or any one can tell me based on your experience which tool is supporting/best tool to test.

Is there any tools or supported tools for codes check in/out?

When a project is in a large scale, we usually will divide the system into several modules. Each one responsible for a module. Under such situation, when a programmer tries to modify his/her module code, the problem seems to have less impact. However, in case of development involving common files, I would like to have better control about program update to avoid the conflict of program versions (Just like the Visual SourceSafe supported by Visual Basic) Is there any tool like that?

JDeveloper supports three SCM systems out of the box which provide this kind of functionality:
o Oracle Software Configuration Manager (SCM) is Oracle's own source control system. It's built on the Oracle database so is highly scalable and performs well. o CVS, probably one of the most commonly used SCM systems around because it's free, open source and very easy to use. There's a very high level of integration for CVS in the 9.0.3 version of JDeveloper. CVS doesn't scale very well to large teams, however. More information: http://www.cvshome.org.
o ClearCase, a popular source control system from Rational Software.
We don't currently support Visual SourceSafe, although we're investigating the best way to provide this in the near future.

In the Open Hub Destination Type, I have a choice between Database Table, File or Third Party Tool. From what I read from SAP documentation, the Third Party Tool which is supported is Ascential. Apart from Ascential, what are other 3rd party Tools can Open Hub Destination link up to ?
Can Microsoft BI be linked up?

I am searching for a tool for SCCM.
I have some IT responsible persons (who are not realy it technicans) in diffrent locations.
I want to give them a possibility to deploy Software to their clients with GUI without using ConfigMgr Console.
Does anyone knows such tools?

Is there a reason you don't want them to have the console? You should be able to setup permissions that will only allow them to admin their area if that is the worry.
Also are you wanting them to push the install or would they be able to go to the machine, and do the install. If they would be able to go to machine to do the install then the solution below should work for you, I have it in place in my environment.
AD group that has the supporting team members in it
then created a User Collection in SCCM, and based its membership on the AD group I created
then created deployments for each of the applications that I want the support team members to have access to.
The support team member can go to the Application Catalog on the web, and install the application from there. This allows for you to control who all has access to installs by their AD group.
Also to make the online application catalog easier to get to I made a redirect site in IIS on the application catalog server.
Without the redirect you have to tell your support team to go to http://ServerName/CMApplicationCatalog"
With the redirect you can name it whatever you want like http://ServerName/apps"
Had to add the quote to make it not link.

Is Norton Tool Bar supported by any Firefox version(s)?

I previously used some of the lower numbered versions of Firefox. The versions which I have used didn't support Norton Security; especially '''Norton Tool Bar.''' Are there any versions of Moxilla Firefox that DO support the Norton Tool Bar with its "Identity Safe" feature?

Any network discovery tool that supports CLI/CDP?

May popular network discovery tools out there (such as WhatsUp Gold, Solarwind) are based on SNMP. Even though they claim to support SSH/Telnet, but they didn't seem to work the way I thought.
What I'm expecting is a software that mimic the way a human being do on discovering a swtich network:
1) Get to the CLI of the 'seed' switch
2) Do a "show cdp neighbor detail"
3) Look at the entries that have IP address
4) Telnet/SSH to that IP and repeat step 1-3 above
Ideally, the software can cycle through a credential list in case different credentials are needed on different devices.
The closest I can found is "NetBrain". But it seems to be an overkill for light use. I could have written some VB Scripts along with SecureCRT to achieve this. But want to check before reinventing the wheel.

I think that all the relevant information from CDP/MAC/ARP etc. is available through SNMP, so there is no need to control a login-session and invest much brain in parsing the output. Especially if you think about that the outout could be different after an image-upgrade.
Beside of that, a good tool that also uses CDP for discovery is Netdot, or if I understand it right, the underlying software netdisco.

IPhone Diagnostic Tool in Support Page?

Went to the Apple Store in Holyoke, MA regarding battery issue. Specifically, iPhone 5 performs a hard shutdown at around 30%. The Genius Bar Tech ran a diagnostic which confirmed my issue. He then gave me a replacement iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.4 (at my request) since I believe the issue is with iOS 7.0.3. He mentioned that the Apple Support page has a link to a diagnostic tool that I can document my findings. Problem is, I don't see the link anywhere. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Before we start the real contents development, we mainly focus on the documentations' structure, namely its outline? There is no doubt it is important to design a clear and easy search structure.
I am wondering what tools you adopt to visualize the documentations' structure? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Recommendations for SSO Tools to support Inbound SSO

What have you all used in terms of a package solution to support SSO? I have a client that will be doing Inbound SSO to On Demand and are looking for some recommendations. Will Active Directory not support SAML 1.1?

Brad, try clicking on the Training and Support link in the upper right and then click on Search Knowledge and log into MetaLink and do a key word search on SSO. There are a number of documents that should help.

DB13 and 3rd party tool support?

Hi Experts,
I came across SAP note 1048382 which says that 3rd party backup tools can be called from DB13. Does anybody have experience with that? What tools provide support for this integration?
Is there a way for reporting backup status info into CCMS/db13 if a tool doesn't support that?

Hi,
Any 3rd party tool which uses backint utility to trigger backups, logs will be available in db14. You can also schedule backup jobs with such tools using db13 transaction code.
