Tooltip is causing popups to go behind the main screen, how can I fix this?

Hello,
I'm facing a tooltip issue at work which I can't seem to reproduce in my stand-alone codes. Basically, I have a panel that contains a table with headlines. When I move the mouse through the headlines, if any popup or window is open on the main application, the tooltip causes it to go behind the app. The tooltip is implemented using the setToolTipText(String str) method in a JTable's renderer, which eventually extends DefaultTableCellRenderer; when I comment out this line, the problem seems to go away, and when I put it back I see the problem happening again. Here's what I've tried so far:
1) Removed setToolTipText() line in the renderer code, and replaced it with getToolTipText(MouseEvent e) in the table class, itself.
2) Removed setToolTipText() line and tried using a JWindow instead in the renderer, where I set the JWindow text to the renderer's value.
I know that it's the tooltip that causes the problem, and the two alternatives produce the same problem, and I don't know what else I should try.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been stuck with this assignment for over a week now and the deadline has passed. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas to offer, I'd very much appreciate it.

I have absolutely no idea why you listen to patumaire. He has no ideas what the answers are and just trolls the forums trying to start troll wars.
On the other hand you are incredibly selfish. We don't always no the answer, but will spend time investigating a solution be we are curious. You have no idea how frustrating it is spending time to answer questions only to find out it has already been answer in this forum or another.

If normally accepted forum principles are followed then we would have no reason to comment, other than to answser a question. Since apparently you don't know these principles, you've been asked to change your behaviour.

Hi,
First, close all the apps who are running in the same time.
You can desactivate few "notification" who drain the battery so.
You can put off the auto configure of the hour.
You can turn off bluetooth or wifi or both when no using.
I suggest you to disable the automatic sync with mail accounts and see if the problem goes away. Put in in manually.
when you go away from the mail app, it is still trying to finish to sync even in sleep/lock mode and the battery is dead within hours. Also, you can close the mail app.
In few weeks, an update will arrive with corrections.

Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. This usually caused by a customised hosts file.
These need to be the only entries in your /etc/hosts file:-
# Host Database
# localhost is used to configure the loopback interface
# when the system is booting. Do not change this entry.
127.0.0.1       localhost
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1             localhost
fe80::1%lo0     localhost
Remove anything below these entries, then try and reconnect with GC. Once GC starts properly you can put the extra entries back in your hosts file, GC should start normally afterwards.

Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again.

FCP, and all software on OSX, has a few different "preference" files (the extension is .plist), which store all your user settings. Each time you resize a window, change a setting, anything, this file is re-written. Kinda easy to see how they would become corrupt every now and then.
-Close FCP
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences and delete com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences>Final Cut Pro User Data and delete Final Cut Pro 5.0 Prefs
-Empty your trash
Relaunch FCP and see if that worked.
Download FCP Rescue to make this process easier in the future. When you have FCP running really smooth, open FCP Rescue and create a backup of your preference files. If it starts acting wanky, just run FCP Rescue and Restore your backup preferences. Works really slick, and it's free.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

Take it back where you got and and get your money back.
As has been pointed out, if there was a "previous owner", the phone is not "new". Thephone you purchased is most likely stolen. If whoever you bought it from won't give you your money back, turn it over to the police.

The Downloads Manager ("Ctrl+J") is more like a log of downloads, it does not verify that the download still exits. Make sure you are setup to download to a permanent location, not into temporary files that get cleaned by the browser or by CCCleaner or something designed to clear out temporary files.

Tools > Options > Privacy > [x] Remember download history
Don't clear your download history automatically, but having a lot there whether they exist or not, can slow down Firefox at least it was an issue:

However, during my wait for your supervisor, just when I stepped away from my desk for a moment you must have picked up your phone again. When I heard a noise (other than the hold music) I rushed back to my desk only to hear you hang up. When the phone rang and the ANI said "Apple support" I tried to pick up but you were gone by the time I got the button pressed.
