Tooltip superposing hyperlinked area: possible?

My idea was to place tooltips on a small series of photos (using the tooltip widget) and at the same time setting hyperlinks on each photo, leading to another page. The trigger area of the tooltip of course would have to cover the whole hyperlinked photo
So I hoped it would work like this: On rollover, the text of the tooltip would appear. And then, clicking the same area, the visitor would go to the linked page. But it seems that the tooltip trigger area blocks the underlying hyperlink, since clicking on this area has no further effect.
Is it possible somehow to have both, tooltip and underlying hyperlink, at the same area (for example an image)? Or should I forget this idea?

Drag the photo into the trigger, rather than putting the trigger over top the photo.
With the photo inside the trigger, rollover will display the tooltip and you can put a link on the photo (or trigger container) that will be followed on a click.

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...

1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)

3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Do they launch OK while in Safe Mode?

Hyperlinks are dead when Pages file is exported as a PDF

When I export a file from Pages '09, version 4.0.5, to a PDF file, the hyperlinks do not work. The Pages help menu states "Hyperlinks in your Pages document are exported to the PDF file. Hyperlinks are also created in the PDF file for table of contents entries, footnotes and endnotes, webpages, email addresses, and bookmarks." I am opening the PDF files in Acrobat Reader. What is the problem here?

Hyperlinks are not working in muse site

My hyperlinks are not working towards the top of my site but they work towards the bottom of my site. I have everything below the headers so I really do not know whats going on here?? Can someone please help!!

The process is as followed:
Insert a 'Text box'
Wrote Wesport in Text Box
Highlighted the word Wesport, right clicked and selected the hyperlink option
Selected the option to inset a website link
Pasted the whole link and pressed ok
The hyperlink then was shown in the document blue with an underline
Then selected the Adobe Printer through the Print option
The PDF was then created but hyperlinks did not work.

Wi-Fi or another interference source. Try turning off the Wi-Fi and see if the problems continue. If that solves the problem, see if you can set your Wi-Fi to run in the 5 GHz range.

Pages with many text hyperlinks are very slow

When making a text list, where a lot of the words are hperlinks, the resulting age is very slow with loading.
Also, especially when not using Safari, the screen is garbled with text until the complete page is loaded.
It looks like all those simple text hyperlinks are somehow displayed as pictures???
How can I create plain text hyperlinks without all the overhead added by iWeb?

I have converted a list to web => Times New Roman => bolt and regular, but still the same problem.
In the source code this list is build by using img usemap, see part of the code here:

Parallel Query - which actions are possible?

Hello guys,
we have an OLTP system which a huge amount of data... and now i want to try to introduce parallel query in the system and test something around.
I have some experiences with parallel query in an OLAP environment, but not in an OLTP.
What i am searching for?
An overview for Oracle 10g which lists all possible query accesses that are possible in a parallel environment.
For example:
- FTS - possible
- Nested Loops - possible
- Index Range scans - not possible
I know some .. but not all so i am searching for an overview on the oracle documentation page but was not able to found something.
Maybe you can help me.

regarding to the paper of Doug Burns there are more things that can be executed parallel (but this paper is about Oracle 9i), so please don't post if you don't have any knowledge.

How many items are possible in page APEX 3.2

Hi All,
I have created around 95 page items,8 different region , 10 buttons and i have used collections in page processing
While processing the page by using Select with LOV getting error http://3264-ch-dbs:8080/apex/wwv_flow.accept
I have created 15 extra page item due whih count increases from 80 to 95 .once I have created this I tried processing the page by select list with submit . I am getting above mentioned error
how many items are possible in page APEX 3.2 , is there limitation ?
Any sugeestion is welcomed

You can render up to 100 APEX item on the page, and that includes hidden items. You can define more than 100 items and use conditions to determine which items will be rendered. (Buttons and other components you mentioned are not included in the 100 count).

Lost all bookmarks & hyperlinks are now black! (Mac)

While using firefox my browser froze as i ran out of memory. I tried to close some windows while the browser was paused, however it was frozen so i had to force quit. When i re opened firefox all my bookmarks were gone, both in the toolbar and bookmark folder. I tried to restore however it gives the error message "Unable To Process The Backup File". I have tried following the support pages with no luck.
I have also tried to downgrade from 15.0.1 to 14.0.1 but this made no difference.
Also, i have noticed when i was using google to search for help all hyperlinks are now showing as black instead of blue! This is happening with multiple web pages.
Is there any way to manually restore the bookmark folder or is this impossible? I can't figure out how to fix this.
Current version of OSX i am running is 10.5.8
Current version of Firefox is 14.0.1

Would like to say i have solved this problem myself.
Decided to risk using the 'reset firefox' button (Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox) which worked a treat. As soon as i pressed it, everything was restored! I am surprised i did not find this referred to in any help docs.
Hope this may help someone in the future.

Hyperlinks are Stuck!

Well first 08 problem, no matter what I seem to do, what my hyperlinks are set as, they all go back to my splash page. Even if I select a different page within iweb and select visit, it will still come up as my splash page!
Help!

Make sure you have checked "include page in navigation menu" and "display navigation menu" in the "page" inspector.
When you select "new page" from the file drop down menu or click the + button on the bottom left of your iWeb window, the templates page appears, you select the template and hit "choose". At this point the new page appears in the left hand sidebar and in the navigation menu.
Double click the new page template name in the sidebar, enter a new page name and click on the blue area to the left of it to enter the change. This new name should now be in the navigation menu as well.
In the "link" inspector check the "make hyperlinks active" box and then click on the pages in the navigation menu to see if it works.
This is how it is supposed to work.
If you are doing all this and still have a problem, post back.
Before you attempt any of the above you could try quitting iWeb, delete the cache and preferences files and relaunch.

My buttons with hyperlinks are not browser compatible

Hi, I've created an InDesign document that has simple buttons with hyperlinks and rollover stage. I have saved the document as an interactive pdf and uploaded to the site, when checking for browser compatibility, the hyperlinks are not working on Firefox 19.0.
Does any one know how to fix this problem?

Hyperlinks are not functioning after publishing

I am running iWeb 3.0.4 and am publishing to my host site through GoDaddy.com. The hyperlinks work fine in iWeb itself, but after I publish the site and then go to the site to check it, some hyperlinks work, but most don't. It appears to be very random which hyperlinks are working and which are not. After Enabling hyperlinks in iWeb and checking the box Make hyperlinks active, I am choosing to Link to > One of my pages. All seems to be in order but again, after publishing the site, only some hyperlinks work but most do not. I have tried modifying little things in iWeb to see if it will help upon publishing - over and over and over again - but to no avail. I cannot stress how irritating this problem is, not getting the site to work after publishing!!! UGH!
I've seen other posts regarding this issue and still have not found an applicable solution or at least one that is fixing my problem. Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Just these little things you guys are suggesting are helping me slowly fix these subtle problems. I don't understand why these things that you guys are suggesting aren't explained somewhere in iWeb.
Because of your help I have been able to most of the hyperlinks to work now, but still not all of them. Still seems like I have to do some tweeking and moving around some of the text. I can't believe how inaccurate and inefficient iWeb is!
Anyway, Cyclosaurus - is there any way to shrink the size of the Canvas element so that I don't have to keep adjusting the text just to get the hyperlinks to work?

Hyperlinks are showing up white

Hyperlinks are showing up white on my browser (in both chrome and safari). They are appearing clear if there is a white background behind them so it is becomming really annoying to have to highlight the page to read what the hyperlinks say. I bought this laptop today so it shouldn't be a problem with me changing the settings, but something is definitely wrong. It is happening on multiple websites. Can anyone help me?

I'm using Windows XP. outlook Express hyperlinks are not working. Might Firefox be blocking the hyperlinks?

I've tried the "FIX IT" on the Microsoft website but it did not fix it. I've been in touch with my anti virus software company who assure me that their product cannot block hyperlinks. I've gone into windows folder options/ file types to check settings but they seem OK. I'm now wondering if a seting in Firefox could block the hyperlinks.

Many thanks to those who took the time to reply. I use Firefox as my default browser to search the internet. I use Outlook Express to download my emails. Some emails have hyperlinks. When I place the cursor over a hyperlink a (very long) web address appears at the bottom of the window but clicking on the link does nothing. I have searched the internet for possible solutions. One was that the problem was caused by my anti virus software blocking the hyperlink. My anti virus software provider excluded this. Another related to a possible problem in windows XP control panel/folder options/file types. I checked this and all was OK. A website suggested that my browser may be causing the problem. Firefox itself is my default browser and is working OK. My question is "can a setting (or something else) in Firefox block the hyperlinks in Outlook Express from working''. The problem occurs in Outlook Express but the hyperlinks have to work via Firefox to open the links which are web pages (accessed via Firefox)..

Hyperlinks are no longer working

I can no longer click on a hyperlink and go to the web page. I need to copy and paste the URL. This has only happned recently and is very frustring. I have a 6 month old 13" MacBook Pro retina running Mavericks

Try a restart.
Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
