Tooltip widget text shadow dissapears

When typing text over one of the tooltip widgets section, the text shows up, but the shadow on the text is missing.  .
Is there any way to get the text shadow to propely appear when its over a tooltip section?  (it works over just the general page)
thanks!

Hi Renee
The image that you are trying to change is a simple image inserted in tooltip, you would need to replace the image using assets panel.
I have tried to explain here , created a short video for you :

  • IMovie text shadows missing

Using iMovie '11 (9.0.4), I'm adding subtitles to a video. The text drop shadow dissapears when I select a font other than what's initially in the text boxes or if I paste text in rather than typing it in. Without the shadow, my text completely disappears on light or white backgrounds. How do I turn the shadow effect on?

Also the originally clips are still in my iphoto and show in imovie, but it still doesn't link to my project. Please help!!

  • How can I use the tooltip widget on individual images in my thumbnail gallery?

    Hey guys
I've got a client that is insisting on not having the caption text visible on each picture unless you could click or hover over a little information button. But I can't get the tooltip widget inside an individual image's lightbox (hope this makes sense). I have very little coding knowledge and was hoping someone would have the answer to this?

Does no one have an answer to this Was hoping that someone could save me on this dilemma.
A side question, has anybody used a different gallery with muse before?

  • IFrame hack for IE6 in Tooltip Widget

The iFrame, that is called up in IE6 to cover form elements
doesn't seem to get placed right.
Obviously, this issue has to be viewed with IE6 since that's
the only browser that uses the iFrame hack built into the Tooltip
    Widget.
The following page shows some samples but the iFrame always
    shows in the wrong place:
    http://www.onuma.com/plan/test.html
The only way the iFrame almost matches, is when I place the
div tag containing the tooltip right behind the bold text:
    http://www.onuma.com/plan/test2.html
    I actually noticed that Adobe's
    Sample
Page has the same problem but since the background is white and
the page is pretty long, one doesn't notice it. When you look at
the page with IE6 and you scroll over one of the tooltip texts, you
can notice the scroll bar on the right of the browser window
slightly moving. That's because the iFrame gets pushed into the
    bottom of the page.
Is there any way to get this iFrame positioned correctly?
    Thank you,
    Thomas

Has anybody used the Tooltip Widget and tested it with IE6
with the standard SpryTooltip.js and SpryTooltip.css? Would it be
    possible to show some examples?
I'm having difficulties with the position of the iframe that
is displayed to cover certain form fields in IE6. This becomes
especially apparent when the background isn't white and/or the
trigger is a bit wider since the iframe seems to get positioned
always in the same relative position to where I add the div tag (or
at the bottom of the page if I don't use absolute positioning).
If anybody can provide me with a sample of the Tooltip Widget
being used on a page with non-white background or even with form
fields it would be very much appreciated.
I'd much rather ignore IE6's buggy behavior too but too many
    users are still using it...

  • Muse tooltip widget

I have inserted a tooltip widget on the home page of a website www.guidetothelakes.co.uk mid-way on the left. if you hover over the widget it opens as it should, click on one of the entries and it takes you to the relevant page. All Okay. Now if you click on the back button of the browser, (Safari) the widget is still open until you click around and then it dissapears, not as it should. If when on the page entered via the widget and you click on the Lakes & Cumbria menu button to go back, the widget is closed as it should be.
Am I doing something wrong, the settings are set to close on roll out of trigger and target.
Does any one have any idea's
    Thanks, James.

This fault does seem to just apply to Safari web browser, so I think all is okay with the Muse side of things.

  • How can I change fullscreen background color, so that it is the same when viewing on mac and iPad? I want this to be able to use MathType in widget text.

How can I change fullscreen background color, so that it is the same when viewing on mac and iPad? I want this to be able to use MathType in widget text.
As an example, html widget has white background on iPad, and black on mac. The same goes for interactive widget.
The MathType text inserted is inserted as a image, and will have the same color when in fullscreen as when not. So I need the textcolor to be the same in both views. Anyone know how to fix this?

We're still not communicating. This is why I wanted an example .iba.
Here's a re-creation of my own, going off what you described. You said "all html widgets and all gallery widgets" have this problem. So I inserted a blank HTML widget and a blank Gallery widget, and typed into both. Inserted a MathType equation into both. I don't see any difference when I preview it on my Mac compared to the preview on the iPad. I want to help, but I can't help if I can't duplicate the issue.
I've attached the screen shots and the .iba file [link to .iba file].
Feel free to email me directly at bobm at dessci dot com. If you're uncomfortable giving some information here, tell me anything you want in email. I work for the "MathType company", Design Science.

  • Inline text-shadow style property missing

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has come across this as I'm at a loss trying to debug it.
I create a composition with text that has a text-shadow. The text shadow is there when I preview in IE11. I upload to my own site and it works fine.
Update: I've checked the composition in the LCMS on other browsers and the text-shadow is there. Looks like it could be an IE issue.
However, when I upload to my clients LCMS, all works correctly, except there are no text-shadows. When I inspect the code produced, the inline text-shadow style property is missing i.e. it is not hard coded in! Everything else is as expected.
In order to deploy the composition to my clients LCMS, I have to change some image url's but otherwise, there are no differences.
I can't work out why the JavaScript is not writing the text-shadow to the elements.
Does anyone know where I can put checks in my JS to see what is happening?
    Thanks for any help.
    Cheers,
    Patrick

Of course, text shadows are not supported in IE9 in particular. I am not sure whether filter is still supported though. You might want to check that out.
Try using filter instead in your css code like:
    filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow(color=#000000,direction=45);
Note: keep text-shadow for the other browsers too.
Hope it works but I make no promise.

  • Problems with the Widget "Text Ticker"

Hello, I have a problem with the widget "Text ticker". I tried to put more then one text ticker on my site, but it doesn't work, when I look in Muse it looks like this:
and when I look in the preview only the first text ticker works...maybe it is not possible to have more then one text ticker on one site?
    Thank you.

It seems you are using the same name for all the ticker instances on page.
You need to have unique names for each of the ticker you want on a single page. Tickers with duplicate names will not work.
    Cheers,

  • Widget text issue after ICS update

After my Droid Bionic upgraded to ICS, most of the text and numbers displayed in each of my widgets appear scrambled.  I have Calendar, WeatherBug, SportsTap, and a stocks widget up and running. The Calendar app sometimes appears normal, but the rest all have scrambled text and numbers.
I've changed wallpapers multiple times, both regular and Live, with no effect.  I have also rebooted numerous times, in which the widget texts appear normal afterwards, but eventually become scrambled again.
    Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you tried clearing the system cache and/or uninstalling and reinstalling the apps?  A system cache after an OS update is useful since it clears out any leftover code from the previous OS; it won't delete any of your files.
    Clear system cache
    Power down phone
Hold volume up/down & power simultaneously
Use volume down to navigate to 'Recovery', use volume up to select
Should see screen with triangle and exclamation point next to an Android
    Press volume up/down simultaneously
Use volume rocker to navigate to 'wipe cache' and use power button to select
Once finished, use volume rocker to navigate to 'reboot system now' and use power button to select

  • Muse tooltip widget has problems

I’m placing a graphic with states in the trigger area of a tooltip widget. The tooltip pop up shows up correctly in preview or preview in web browser modes, however the trigger does not allow a user to see the icon states, nor can the user click through to go to the link and to achieve rollover, or click, or active states.

This fault does seem to just apply to Safari web browser, so I think all is okay with the Muse side of things.

  • Help! Slideshow made w/Tooltip Widget: Triggers stop the autorotation

I made my first slider/slideshow with the Tooltip widget. It works great, the four panels are in rotation every 6 seconds. BUT... if I click a "back" or "next" arrow, or the circular triggers I have at the bottom of the slider, the panel goes to the panel I wish to see, but then the animation stops autoplaying, which I don't want it to do. I don't see a setting to prevent this. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I did some more digging and I found a few threads in this forum that describe my issue, and they say that's how it is, and currently there's no option to resume auto play except for reloading the page in the browser. Still I would guess there's some code hack that could be inserted into the script, but I have no idea how to do that. Kind regards-

  • "Close" button in Tooltip Widget not working

HI, I hope I'm not doing something stupid here...
It's my understanding that choosing "Stay On Rollout" in the trigger options for a widget and adding a "Close Button" would basically give you tooltip that fades in and stays open until the close button is clicked—fading it back out. If this thinking is correct than the functionality is broken in the Tooltip widget. Running Mac OsX 10.7.3

Muse support staff answered this almost 8 months ago on their old support wiki.
    http://support.muse.adobe.com/muse/topics/close_button_doesnt_work_on_any_widgets
Close button does not work, they realize that but just haven't come out with a fix yet.  There is a messy work around - you kindof have to hack your tooltip widget a bit. But here is the explanation below:
I found a wonky work-around. Instead of closing, I put a next button and made the second tooltip blank. With the type tool, I changed the ">" for next to a "x" and made it the same color as the background so it would disappear into the background after "closing".

  • 'Tooltip' widget in phone view menu

I'm looking for a tutorial that uses 'Tooltip' widget for instead of the accordion.
I want to set the button as the trigger and in the target just add a regular Muse menu, but can't figure it out.
If you can think of an alternative i would look at that too: open to ideas but I don't like where you need to go back and flip the accordian panel closed.
    Many thanks!
