i have downloaded the tool tip plug inn and have imported it in my application.
i have searched the forum about it, but most places they used jquery to solve the problem.
i want to use plsql instead of jquery.
please guide me to achieve it.

i followed the example instruction in that but unable to get it done.
i have gone through http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=9507420? and was able to do a little bit of thing.
but unable to show the tool tip.
i have created an example in http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=15358:6:3623155419174978:::::
when mouse moves on lline_item_no then it should show the "pid" but its not.
pls let me know if any more information is needed

Which Eclipse plug-in for creating web services?

Dear all,
I am looking for a simple, straight-forward eclipse plug-in to create web-services from existing java classes, based on Axis. I am looking to create and deploy the web service to Tomcat, create the WSDL file and create a client class that I can use in client applications. So far I have tried WTP, Lavadora and Lomboz. Neither of these have worked out for me (without going into the details here). Which other plug-ins would you recommend?

The best Eclipse-based web service development environment I've used is IBM's WebSphere Application Developer (WSAD). Whether going from WSDL to Java or the reverse, you're up and running in next to no time.
But, assuming you don't have $8000 to spend, WTP is probably as good as it gets at the free end of the market, and it includes the same graphical WSDL editor you get in WSAD.
WTP, a couple of Ant scripts, and a little perseverance are all you really need for web service development.

Most printing issues are solved by resetting the Printing preferences. When you print from Firefox and you click on the down arrow, do you see Defualt and Firefox? Please make changes to the preferences here and preview the document.

How to install a plug-in to create a .ico file

I am new to Photoshop, I have CS6.
I want to create a .ico file, I understand I need a plug-in to do so, where do I find the plug-in to install?
Also, I have gone round in circles trying to find out how to install a plug-in. I didn't find the pdf help file very helpful on the subject.

File does not have the correct plug inn while I made it in that programme

Ever since I joined the creative cloud and I make a file in indesign, it is possible that the next time , I will not be able to open that file again because the plug ins can not be found or because the file was not stored properly. But then the next day, I might open that file again without problems....
Any ideas how that is possible?

The only way it could happen is if it's not the same version of InDesign.
For example, if you made the file in Adobe Indesign CC - and then attempted to open that in InDesign CS6 or earlier version then you would get a plugin error.
If you create a file in CS6 and open that in Adobe InDesign CC - it will open fine. If you save it from InDesign CC you will no longer be able to open it in CS6 or earlier.
If you need to open the files in CS6 - then export from inDesign CC as an IDML file, which will open in CS6 or earlier (up to CS4).
Can you clarify you work flow? Do you have multiple versions of InDesign on your computer?

Essbase : ess00001.inn not created ( aborting calculation) ?

When I calculate the cube, the member formulas in the scenario dimension are not calculating:
Error is : [ D:\........\ess00001.inn file can not be created because it already exist [adIndNewFile] aborted].
SO ..as my understanding i only need to delete the file ess00001.inn ,and should retry calculation..
But i m worried to delete that bacause of any loss..
Please suggest me the right way if i m wrong !!

First I would back up the application directory (with the application stopped). then delete the file. Inn is a temporary file that Essbase uses when it is restructuring an outline. It sounds like a restructure failed.

Is there a way (or free tool/plug-in) to create a playlist from a folder?

I waste a lot of time creating playlists for mp3s that are already in separate folders, sorted the way I want them to appear in the playlist.
Is it possible to simply drag or otherwise move folders to iTunes (latest version) and have them appear as playlists? When moving audio lessons to the iPod it is very time consuming.

That's true, though I still need the script. Because if I drag more than one folder at a time (otherwise too time consuming) they will all be dropped into one playlist, with the name of the first folder.

InDesign is not the program to use to
create graphs. Illustrator has a crude, long-overdue-for-improvement, but adequate graphing feature. Numbers, Excel, and NeoOffice are probably better places to start than InDesign.

Anyone know of a plug-in to create the effect of an old TV switching off?

Creating a Movie Annotation Plug-in

Hi,
I'm trying to create a plug-in that creates a pdf and embeds a movie annotation into the pdf.
The only problem i'm having is locating the correct path to the file.
File Location-> C:/tmp/Surgery.avi
I've tried passing in the file specification as a string via
1) "C:/tmp/Surgery.avi"
2) "C:\\/tmp\\/Surgery.avi"
But none of them seem to be locating the correct movie file. I read about protecting the file path using back slashes in the PDF Reference documentation.
My plug-in creates the pdf and begins to set up the cos object properly but cannot find the correct path ... When I run my plug-in in Acrobat 3D, a window appears saying "C:/tmp/Surgery.avi cannot be found. Would you like to choose a replacement file?"
If someone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

I just tried "C:\\tmp\\Surgery.avi" and for some reason I got the exact same error. "C:\tmp\Sur" Cannot be found..."
But, I suddenly recognized why I was getting that error. It was b/c I had my DICTIONARY_SIZE set to 10 -> Which only takes the first 10 characters of the path :)
So, in case anyone else has this issue, make sure you specify the correct file path as well as

Create a web photo gallery, in PSE8????

In a old version of elements, like verssion 2, you could create a web photo gallery. You can also do this in Photshop.
I just purchased PSE8 and I cannot find it in there. Since this the bulk of my work, uploading photo galleries to car websites I look after, this could be a real problem for me.
Is it in there & I'm just looking in the wrong palce or is there a plug inn I can get/purchase?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I still have PSE2 so it's no drama.
It just defeats the purpose of me upgrading from that point of view.
Like Eric says I too do not want the "flash-based web pages " as nice as they are.
I cant see why they couldn't have left in the html gallery feature in as well as having the flash. I see it all the time. Packages move forward at the expense of other features being removed.
I got the new package PSE8 and PRE8 as they could supposedly talk to each other. Now I find I'm still having to use an older and much simpler application to get the job done.
I also run two screens and when I move one of these new applications to the second larger screen it spits the dummy.
Me thinks I'll just stick with my old proven products that never fail or hang. Every time I try to move with the times something like this happens.
I fear application/software creators/designers of the day have lost the plot.
Ahh, I feel better now. LOL!!

CS5 - Flex UI plug-in using a C++ model backend plug-in

Hi,
I'm new to InDesign CS4/CS5 plug-in development and been given the task of coming up with a plug-in equivalent to one done for QuarkXPress 8.
In the CS4 SDK there were two samples for the FlexUIStroke plug-in. One was a pure Flex/scripting sample and the other was a combination of Flex and C++. The latter was useful for showing how C++ source code could interface with Flex. In the CS5 SDK (build 335) the C++ sample has been removed.
The Flex/scripting sample has been rewritten for use with CS Extension Builder under Flash Builder 4. I've quickly tested this using CSEB and it is a really handy tool for creating, installing and debugging InDesign extensions using Flex panels.
In CS5, Adobe state the importance of model/UI separation as the former permits multiple threads. By this I assume that a separate thread in the model plug-in can manipulate a document. I like the idea purely as a means of developing code where the UI is separate from a backend which loads, saves and manipulates documents. The UI can be reinstalled without changing or reinstalling the backend.
My project requires:
A panel-based user interface (using Flex).
Sockets code to listen for messages from a browser to load and save documents etc - therefore a multi-thread solution.
Code to add text and images to the document via the plug-in user interface and report back any problems to the user interface - two-way communications.
It sounds straightforward - as it was in QXP. But here's the crunch, is it possible to have a UI plug-in developed using CSEB and a model-compliant (not using WidgetBin.lib) backend developed using C++? At the moment I'm thinking I'm stuck using a "CS4" approach (single plug-in without CSEB) for the project.

This morning I added some code to a C++ plug-in to enumerate through the plug-ins installed under InDesign. The aom was to see if LoadMovieFromResource() could work. I noticed that the CSEB plug-in was not listed. Then I realized that CSEB doesn't generate plug-ins but extensions. Therefore the last few days has been a waste.
The CS SDK states that:
It is possible to combine a Creative Suite extension with a C++ plug-in to create a hybrid extension; the
tech note provides more information about how to do this.
I haven't found the tech note!
I've lost too much time on this, so my project will revert back to two C++ plug-ins (one UI and one model) where the UI plug-in loads the SWF.
Shame, I feel a real opportunity has been missed here to make plug-in development using Flex user interfaces really easy (especially debugging). Oh well may be a few SDK builds down the road, C++ plug-in using Flex user interfaces will be documented better.
