Top align hierarchy dropdown

Dear Gurus,
I have a table inserted with 2 web items, 1 a hierarchy dropdown, the other on the right, a normal dropdown box.
Somehow, although both are valign to top, they do not appear on same level horizontally. In fact the hierarchy one is positioned much to the bottom of the cell. The other dropdown is alright. All characteristic dropdowns are aligned but not the hierarchy one. I checked td tag and seems like no option to top align by pixel.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Top aligning HtmlDataTable components in a HtmlPanelGrid

I need a recommended solution for this scenario.
I have three h:dataTable components in a h:panelGrid as follows:

Note that the header for the graphic in the template.xhtml for each xhtml has valign style settings so a global setting like this will not work (i.e.
it will top align the dataTables but the header graphic is now mis-aligned.):

JScrollpanel Top align problem

Hi,ALL
I have a JPanel holds two Objects(JTree and JList);
So
The main JPanel is created with FlowLayout.LEFT
I create two JScrollPanel to hold JTree and JList,
since JTree is long and JList is short.
so everytime JList is in the middle of the JScrollPanel.
I want to align them from top, how to add a Viewport to JScrollPanel from TOP-align, not automatically CENTER-align?

At the risk of sounding like the Office Paperclip... it looks like you're writing an explorer.
If so, use a JSplitPane. Set the left component to a JScrollPane containing a JTree and the right component to a JScrollPane containing a JList.

I want to understand that How to make Attribute Change run alignment & Hierarchy changes in Aggregate?
I posted previously the same question but there were not good answers and i was not able to understand clearly .....
If there is Process chain XXY which makes Attribute change run for Master Data 0SPELLING ?
Now there is Aggregate TRT which includes :
0SPELLING , Fiscal Period , Purchase Product, Purchase Category ?
Now pls answer following question ?
1) Does the Process Chain XXY which makes only attribute change run alignment for 0SPELLING , Will this process chain automatically do the Change run alignment for 0SPELLING in Aggregate TRT ? YES or NO
2) If Yes, then we are just suppose to do Roll up for Aggregate TRT after Process chian XXY completes and finish job ?
3) If No, then what steps are suppose to be DONE so as to make sure that Aggregate TRT has new values and perfect values for 0SPELLING ?
Please answer and coorect if i have any wrong question....

with data load u will load the data with version M of modified and is not available for reporting
If u do attribute change run then this modified version is activated to A i.e. active version .
It will also do the change run alignment for Aggregate for new attribute values and new hierarchy values for aggregate.
now in order for this data to be available for reporting u will need to do the roll up of aggregate.....
if u roll up aggregate before attribute change run , new data is not avaialable for reporting
if u roll up aggregate after attribute change run, then data is available for reporting
if u dont roll up aggregate eventhough new data is in dataprovider, still new data will not be available for reporting.

Top aligning html slices

I want to top align an html slice (for google adwords) and a
rectangle. I cannot get them to align at the top no matter how hard
I try. The rsite was created in firewoks and imported to dw. It is
driving me mad as the site is finished bar this one thing and has
been for ages. If anyone has any suggestions they'll be greatly
appreciated as it keeps vertically centering the rectangle as the
html slice is bigger.:confused.

Adobe X Standard - Top Aligned Text Box

I am trying to create a form that allows the body of a letter to be placed within an Adobe Form. The body of the letter can cover upto about 70% of that page. Obviously I am trying to do this via a text box but how do I get the text to start at the top of the page. It seems to want to start half way down the page.
How do I set the alignment to the start at the top and work down???

Align select dropdown menu on the right edge of parent box

Hello,
I was wondering if you can help me about an issue i have with Firefox browser.
I'm designing a webpage and i have a "<select>" menu with numerous options.
On Firefox the left edge of the dropdown menu aligns to the left edge of the
parent "<select>" box whereas in other browsers (Chrome, IE) aligns to the right.
The entire menu, is located on the right edge of my page
The result is when the innertext of an option is very long,
exceeds the margins of the page and is cut.
Is there any hidden option (css-fix), so that i could make dropdown menu align to
the right of the parent box , just like other browsers?
(I have some screenshots of the menu, but i don't know where to post them)

Div top align issues

I have a photo that I need to align with the top of a text
box. Something is pushing it down although after staring at it for
an hour and trying valign, clear: both, etc. I'm stumped.

Embedded pdf displays on top of my dropdown menu

I have a dropdown menu and some of my content is displayed via an embedded pdf. The client really does not want an extra window to have to open for this .. very clunky. I have spent the better part of my weekend trying to solve this problem .. z-index doesn't do it .. iframes do not do it .. nothing I have found that is supposed to work has actually worked.
Finally I find this:
Adobe PDF documents are not indexable. It is impossible to get any web content (including drop down menus) to display on top of these objects. Until Adobe adds a means of displaying web content over embedded PDF files, the PDF or the web content (in your case, menu) will need to be repositioned. Or alternatively, you can have the PDF document open inside of a new window. Unfortuantely, there are no other options available due to the way Adobe renders PDF files inside of web pages.
True? If so .. why? If there is a solution to this, please do share.

I just solved this problem myself (I think).
First, make sure you have updated your spry to 1.6. Once you
do that, then find the "hacker" info at the bottom of the menu code
that creates an iframe behind your menu bar--the background is set
to white--change to transparent and should solve your problem.
Or you can change the javascript for menu bars (under
spryassests for spry menu bars)--there is part of the code that
says this.createIframelayer(menu)--if you comment out this by
placing // before it in the code, the white background goes away.
However, I would recommend trying updating first and not messing
with the javascript as it will affect how your menu looks in older
IE versions.

DW 8 - Inline Frame TOP alignment

text links. Basically my navigation links for my site. Next colums
are just editible regions.
Problem is that my left cell with iFrame top text is lower
than my next columns text. Can not figure out why? I am not an

Script for search TextFrame whitout full text, and top align...

This script "JUSTIFY_ALING" all text frames without footnotes:

You can't tell right away if a textframe is filled all the way to the bottom. Even with linked text threads, there is usually a small space at the bottom, just not enough for an entire next line -- less than the leading of that next line. There may even be more space at the bottom, if the next frame starts with a heading, which is kept with a number of lines following it; or a large inline table or figure; or a hard page break. Or (come to think of it) a footnote -- I'm not sure what would happen then ...
But you can get the vertical position of the last regular text line. With a text frame selected:
alert (app.selection[0].lines.item(-1).baseline);
will show you the absolute vertical position of that last line. If you need the distance from the top of its containing text frame, use
alert (app.selection[0].lines.item(-1).baseline - app.selection[0].geometricBounds[0]);
-- you might remember that the array 'geometricBounds' contains the positions of top, left, bottom, and right corners, in that order. So geometricBounds[0] is the top y position; subtract this from your baseline, and you know how low you go.
In this case, you would want the distance from the last line to the bottom:
alert (app.selection[0].geometricBounds[2] - app.selection[0].lines.item(-1).baseline) ;

will show you how much space there is left. A warning is in place: blank lines are also lines! (Theoretically, if this happens a lot, you could adjust for these. Left as an exercise.)
All you have to do is ask yourself, what amount of white space at the bottom is allowed? Then check your frames for this, and only apply vertical justification if it's inside your parameters.

CSS: Top alignment of floated image and following text

I have a little site I'm revising where images (inside a div) are floated and the following text flows around them. Standard procedure. Here's what I can't figure out... The top of the image is roughly three pixels higher than the top of the first capital letter in the text next to that image. I understand that with font characters there is space below to accommodate descenders, but I thought the top of a capital letter was the limit of a character's height. I've tested this on Windows XP using Firefox 3.6, IE8 and Chrome 6. Here's a link to an example page:

Panel Volumes show as folders, used to be individual top level hierarchy

In previous LR's I had the various volumes represented individually in the left panel the way "Xena" is below. Now it looks like this:
It used to have each volume represented the way "Xena" is above so that "A_Gmini500", "B_Gmini500", D_FotoAssignments" etc. were each represented in the same way as "Xena" as a separate box or button. I want them all to be the style that "Xena" is .
Is that possible? How do you change it?

Hmm. When I promoted the folder "Volumes" they disappeared like this:
Command z got them back, no worries. The folders inside volumes (the actual hard drives) do not have the option to control click> Promote Subfolders.

I can see firefox 3.6.16 in Applications on my Mac but from the top bar the dropdown Firefox menu says I have 3.6.10. What do I do to run and use 3.16.3?

You appear to have Firefox 3.6.10 installed and in use, so therefore presumably on your hdd.
Without upgrading to the newest major version firefox 4, the latest version available is Firefox 3.6.16 , with Firefox 3.6.17 being the next one; scheduled I believe, for 26th April. So to be up-to-date with Firefox 3.6 you should be trying to upgrade to 3.6.16, which I understand you have already downloaded.
First of all try an automatic upgrade by using:
* Help -> Check for upgrades
* as explained here : [[Updating Firefox]]
* if you have problems the link I provided earlier may help [[software update failed]]
If you are unable to get the upgrade to work you can always just do an install of Firefox 3.6.16. BUT please do NOT use the option that says something along the lines of remove settings, if you do you are likely to loose important stored information, including passwords and bookmarks.
