Hi,
When you raise the error, then the call to send the notification would be rolled back.
I would create a new procedure to send the notification, passing in all the values that you might need, and call that as an autonomous transaction. That way, when the error handler rolls the transaction back, your notification would still be sent.
Alternatively, invoke a custom error process and send the notification from there as part of the error handling process, which would be the way that I would build it - encapsulate all the error handling logic in one place, rather than separating it.

  • Installing the latest update on my iPad - error message saying the iPad couldn't synchronize because of an internal error, and then - error message (OxE8004017) when trying to save, and then (2003) when trying to restore - nothing works anymore

Installing the latest update on my iPad - error message saying the iPad couldn't synchronize because of an internal error, and then - error message (OxE8004017) when trying to save, and then (2003) when trying to restore - nothing works anymore - On my iPad the only thing I see is a connector cord to iTunes and nothing else.
    What can I do  ???

Same issue for me, recently I started having issues with apps no longer being able to access my Facebook account. But the iPad Facebook account settings will not accept my password, even though the Facebook app and Safari can access my account fine. The only significant events I recall that have occurred that may have triggered this have been that via my Facebook account I killed off a lot of so called authorised connections and I changed my user name, but still have the same email address and password.
I have tried just about every solution put forward on the net, short of a factory restore, back to new, on my iPad.
I have also; deleted my iCloud account, deleted the Facebook app and account, deleted Safari data.
One would think that after I have deleted my account from the iPad that it would ask for both username/email address and password, but it only asks for password, so the username is still stored somewhere that I am unable to delete.
I also see that no one seems to have been able to get an answer from Apple. So I'm guessing they have absolutely no idea themselves.
I am hesitant to put my username on Facebook back to what it was as Facebook only give you a few chances to change your username, then you are locked.
    I have iOS 7.1.1 installed.
I did have a lot of respect for Apple and their devices as they just worked, but they are becoming tarnished by ignoring what seems to be a growing issue.

  • CRC errors and input errors on Te 1/2 of Cisco WS-C3560X-48 switch

    Hi All,
I am observing CRC errors and input errors on one of the Te1/2 interface of WS-C3560X-48 Cisco switch. I have not observed any CRC errors or input errors on the connected interface at other end. Can you please let us know whether the issue is with cable or SFP module.

When there are more than two members in a cluster (stack), the Gigabit interface operates at half-duplex. Since collisions can result at half-duplex, some CRCs errors are normal.

    Hi,
Check out the below explanation for CRC error and farme error and few useful links to trouble shoot these type of problems
The CRC error rate is 1.75915% (greater than 1 in a million packets),
and the collision rate is less than 0.1%.
This can indicate excessive noise or transmission problems on the LAN or the LAN
bus itself. A high number of CRCs is usually the result of collisions or a station
      transmitting bad data.
TRY THIS: Check cables to determine whether any are damaged. If 100BaseTX is being
used, ensure Category 5 cabling is being used and not another type, such as Category
      3.
There have been 1599 'frame errors' reported.
This indicates the number of packets received incorrectly, having a CRC error
and a non-integer number of octets. On a LAN, this is usually the result of collisions
      or a malfunctioning Ethernet device.
TRY THIS: Monitor the level of frame errors over time. If they are increasing,
try swapping interfaces and or ports to identify the problem.

Again, this looks like I am missing some components.
    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Further developments:  As you may note from the error message, DS is looking for com.sap.ide.metamodel.core.services.eclipse in both the C: and the E: drive at the same time.  In fact, this file exists in the E: drive subdirectory listed, so I obviously have an error with two drive designations being concatenated.  Does anyone know how I can change the lookup directory for this dependency (or any dependency)?
    Thanks,

  • Regarding Workflow Error and Notification problem

    Hi,
I am working on Workflow. I imported data <b>first time</b> in Data Manager and created <b>new</b> workflow. Now while "Launching" this workflow it is showing error "<b>The record is currently used in workflow</b>".
I was using this repository for other data with different workflow but i deleted all previous data and workflow. Why it is showing this error? When i have new set of data with new workflow than i think i should not show this error.
    Other Question is regarding <b>Notification</b>:
To notify the person we have to make following changes :
    1) Have to use Notify stencil and have to give e mail ids in User detail
    2) In my server ini file i have to give my mail server name.
After making this changes I am not getting any mails. Please guide me for the same.
Please guide me how to rectify this error and what are the prerequisites?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ronak

    Hi Ronak,
    Couple of issues with emailing:
    1.  You need to restart your repository after updating .ini file to effect the changes.
    2.  Your SMTP server should relay mails without SMTP authentication.
    3.  You can also send emails to outside domains such as yahoo or others if your SMTP server permits.
Check with your mail server administrator and perform a simple SMTP telnet test to make sure your SMTP server is not an issue.
    Hope this helps

  • V4.2 Errors - Optimize and Save App - ClearCache and Automation Errors

    Hello everyone,
I have a client on v4.2 that is getting multiple errors when they do anything in Admin.
When they do a full optimize they're seeing:
'Administration and Security - ClearCache Method '' of object '' failed.'
When they do a save of their application they get:
'Administration and Security - SaveApplicationInfo Automation Error, the object invoked has disconnected from its clients'.
    Thoughts anyone?
    Thank you,
    Grant

    Hi Grant,
First, I think you need to focus on the Save application issue, as I am quite sure that, once resolved, you will have more visibility on your Optimization error.
Both errors seem to be related to OLAP. Then, I would first try to stop and restart Analysis Services and then try to process the cube (or cubes, if it impacts multiple applications in your customer's application set) directly in Analysis Services and see if it finishes successfully. If yes, please try to save your application from eAdmin.
    Best regards,
    Julien

  • No internet connection detected error and Login errors

I'm on Sony Xperia SP and I have run into two problems lately, one being that Spotify says I have no internet connection (no internet connection detected error) and I've recently bought premium so I'm wasting my money because of this. I've tried clean reinstall and it still failed, this now brings me to my second problem. I also get long waits while waiting to log in and a lot of the time it never logs in, I've only logged out to first the first error and it just creates more problems. I've tried both Facebook and regular logins and none have worked. I know a lot of the community has either previously or is currently receiving this problem so a update fix would be great!
P.S. Login for my ps4 and PC work fine so it's a problem with the app itself.

Just a correction, I believe the error was actually no internet connection available but because I can't even login I'm not sure!

  • Handle error and skip error in BDC

    HI experts,
I have done a BDC call transaction method for t.code XK02.
During the uploading i am getting a lot hidden errors which my uploading getting stop.
I have done a lot checking but still some new problems coming during uploading.
    Example :
Sometimes the user did not maintain payment terms and ETC.
Is it possible for me to skip if the there is any error hit during the uploading and it should skip to the
    next data to upload.
    I hope it is clear.
    Thank you in advanced.
    regards.
    saravannan.s

    Hi,
If you are trying to create the multiple vendors using call transaction you'll be using a loop for the CALL TRANSACTION.
So, you can do this, when you are uploading data into the BDCDATA structure after you upload the data you'll be calling the CALL TRANSACTION statement. So, call this statement using mode 'N' and store the errors in an internal table type BDCMSGCOLL.if any error comes then you'll get the error stored into this table and loop continues for the next vendor creation data.
finally you'll get the error and success of the vendors into the internal table type BDCMSGCOLL.
P.S. use the call transaction statement like this
CALL TRANSACTION 'XK02' USING T_BDCDATA MODE 'N' MESSAGES INTO T_BDCMSGCOLL.
    Thanks&Regards

  • Show error and test error

I have used oracle 9.2 for 3 months. I install oralce client 9.0 in my computer. when I write stored procedure. I used SQL Plus to compile. We use package to wrap a store proceure in sql file. we use ref cursor variable to reture record sets to client because we use oledb and ado to acecess oracle. I don't know the reason that my computer didn't worked well yesterday.
    1. in sql plus, all variable changed to char when I made test in sql plus. I used following statement to test:
    variable c ref cursor
    exec package.procedure(:c, variable1);
    print c
It has error messages: wrong type or numbers in the arguments in calling stored procedure. I checked variable, c changed to char not ref cursor. later, check others, all variable changed to char. very strange. If I defined variable like this: variable c char(20), wrong, like this: variable c char, correct, very strange.
    2. when I compile(in SQL Plus), use statement: @package, If stored procedure has error, use show errors command to display error, cann't display the error. This is first time I met this kind of error.
In addition, If I connect to other database which is old database we don't use now in sql plus. everythings are ok. I hope somebody could give me reply.
    Thanks.

That would be because the PXI 5124 is a digitizer not a analog input device.  You need to use the NI SCOPE driver not NI DAQmx

    Hi,
A very common cause for ORA-00942 in a stored procedure (here I'm including packages and functions) is that you have privileges only through a role. Roles don't count in stored procedures if they are compiled with the default "AUTHID DEFINER". Either
    (1) have whatever privileges you need (e.g. "INSERT ON data_quality_report" or "SELECT ON s_org_ext") granted directly to you (the package owner), or to the pseudo-user PUBLIC, and not merely to some role that you have, or
    (2) create the package in the same schema as the tables, or
    (3) create the package with "invoker's rights", like this
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE data_quality_report_p
    AUTHID CURRENT_USER       -- Added
    AS
FUNCTION pull_data ...'AUTHID CURRENT_USER" goes right before the keyword "IS" (or "AS") in the package spec; you don't have to do anything to the package body.
However, if you do this, then whoever runs the package will need to have those privileges, in addition to EXECUTE privileges on the package. Privileges granted through a role will be okay.
Usually, (1) is the best solution. Have the table owner(s), or someone with the proper authority, grant privileges directly to you.
By the way, there's no point in having an ORDER BY clause in a sub-query like you're doing, and there's no point in having ORDER BY in an INSERT statement. It's not causing the ORA_00932 error (or any other error), it's just wasting resources.
Edited by: Frank Kulash on Mar 23, 2011 4:02 PM
Change DEFINER to CURRENT_USER in a couple of places. (Bad mistake!)

Obviously there are 5 hard errors and 8 transport errors, but what does that normally mean? Reseat the drive to fix? Run fsck? How many errors are acceptable before needing to become concerned?

    Hi.
This counters - Solaris realated. It's not permanent for device.
After reboot - all this error counters will be reset to 0.
It's not normal that this counters not 0, but it's not meaning that device is bad or should be replaced.
No Device: 1 - So - possible device was removed and reinserting, may be transport porblem.
This disc - FC-AL. So it may be problem on other device in loop.
Is it interanl or external disk? What server ?
Soft, Hard, Transport - it's level of error when operating with this device. For more inforamtion need
    analyze /var/adm/messages.
Where fixed wha error happens and more detail information.
    Regards.

  • " L-EC uncorrectable error " and " Multiplexer error " in both Toast & iDVD

    Hi there ,
I've had issues with burning DVDs for ages and have a 3" stack of irridescent coasters to show for it .
I recently stopped getting the error msg , "Multiplexer error : failed to write etc." after deleting the encoded asstes from Advanced tab and then I started getting this L-EC Uncorrectable jazz in both iDVD and Toast (even when burned at 1x) .
There HAS to be some file somewhere throwing off these programmes . I also wonder why the programmers write error messages decipherable only to those with a Phd. in computer science . Besides , if it's all just 1s and 0s , how is it "uncorrectable" ? I CAN FIX ANYTHING !!
    Thanks for your time ,
    Edmund

    +I started getting this L-EC Uncorrectable+
    I've never heard of that...
+I generally leave the room on tip toes once the burning process has started .+
    Always a good strategy.
Have you created a new User and tried burning from that User?

    Greetings

Thank you in advance for your reply. I tried to simplify the data from the console, but I can not be sure which data you exactly need, that's why the results may still appear longer. Please be forgiven. ... If you need the original file of console, I can email you the txt file. Thanks.

  • Tray App window and Parsing error in file C

I was having problems with my printer printing. I uninstalled the program. I tried to install with starter CD and it would not allow. I restored computer to earlier date before the uninstallation. HP shows up in installed programs but now if I click on HP Solution Center I get Tray App box. It says "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package BPD software in the box below. The box below has: C:\users\our last name\AppData\Local\Temp\.......
I also got somewhere (don't remember where...I am a rookie) the following:
    Parsing error in file C:\Program files(x86)\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqscloc\1033.xml
Please help me to solve this so I can have printer connection again.

    Hi @mwd3,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you are unable to print in Windows 7, and I am happy to help you!
For further assistance, I will need some additional information:
The Product/Model Number of your printer. Follow instructions in this link. Finding Your HP Product Model Number.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, Ethernet, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
Please see this post, Want Good Answers? Ask Good Questions, by @Bob_Headrick, so you can get the most out of these forums.
In the meantime, please try the HP Print and Scan Doctor, and let me know what happens!
Hope to hear from you soon, and happy new year!
