Hi,
I am using LE_SHP_TAB_CUST_HEAD BAdI to add a custom tab in VL01N / VL02N header. I added a field with reference to VBPA-KNREF on my custom subscreen.
I need to update XVBPA and YVBPA tables (Partners data) in my subscreen based on the VBPA-KNREF custom field input and send back to the delivery processing. This BAdI allows to change only LIKP data when passing data from subscreen back to the delivery transaction/program.
Any experience with this BAdI or any ideas?

You need to use the methods
TRANSFER_DATA_TO_SUBSCREEN to pass the data from the standard fields to Subscreen fields
TRANSFER_DATA_FROM_SUBSCREEN to pass the data from the subscreen fields to standard fields
1) Create a Function Group e.g. ZVL02N_CUST
2) Create your screen in this function Group
3) Pass this program & screen information in the ACTIVATE_TAB_PAGE method
ef_caption = 'ADD. TAB'.
ef_program = 'ZVL02N_CUST'.
ef_dynpro = '9100'.
4) Create a function module ZVL02N_SET_DATA_SUBSCREEN in the same Function Group. Put all the required fields as the importing parameters in this function module. Create the same fields in the TOP include of the function group. Save the data from the importing parameter to the TOP Include fields. You can use these fields in your screen PBO to set your subscreen fields.
5) Same way create a FM ZVL02N_GET_DATA_SUBSCREEN in the same Function Group. Put all the required fields as the exporting parameters in this Function Module. Set the this exporting parameters values from the TOP include fields.

May i know if there exists any exits for the transactions VL01N / VL02N .
When i change the Delivery Date of the outbound delivery (Goto>Header>Processing), i need to validate the changed date with the SO req. delivery date and display messages thereafter...

Userexits for transaction VL01N/VL02N .

I need to update LIKP-VSART after VL01N/VL02N has been completed(When save button clicked).
Depending upon Sales Order type likp-vsart field is to be updated.
I am using "FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT". but its not updating this field.

You need to 'reverse engineer' them :
You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:

ABAP routine for Top 10 material

Hi All,
I want to write an ABAP routine to get the Top 10 material as per their sales data.
I have written a query where I have put condition (for Top 10).
But I need to create an APD taking this query as base query. But conditions fail to filter data when it comes into a transactional ODS via an APD.
So, I want to write a routine for transaformation of data (to get top 10 material based on their sales data) from base query to the transactional ODS.
Please help me in writing this code.
I am an amatuer in ABAP.

You Need to read Data from the ODS for Top 10 Materials. I can give you the Logic but you would need to take the Help of an ABAPPER to convert this into the code
Lets consider an ODS : ZODS which has a KF for Sales Data (ZKF)

Film appearence - edited material

a newbie's question: is it possible for me to convert edited material (edited in fcp 5 @ 25 fps, shot on a couple of DV cam's) to a more "24fps film-like" appearence using cinema tools or maybe sony vegas?

Cinema Tools won't make you video look like film. It is a database program from tracking the relationship of a video to film project. If you want a "filmlook" look to plugins in Final Cut, like Magic Bullet or Nattress. Google Final Cut Pro plugins and you will find many.

Adding popup before printing deliveries in VL01N / VL02N

Hi,
there´s a need to print deliveries in different languages, when the delivery is between inter company.
In this case, a popup should be shown when printing deliveries in VL01N / VL02N. It should be shown,
when choosing the message type, before starting to print.
On this popup the language, in which the additional print out should be made, should be chosen.
After that, the delivery should be printed in the original language and then in the chosen language.
Is that possible and if so, how? Any other ideas?

Yes u can, u need to change the print program (I suppose the std RVADDN01 or a copy of RVADDN01).
U should change the routine PROCESSING in order to print the delivery twice: one with original language and one with the choosen language, something like this:

Problem editing material in .wmv and saving

in QT pro,
if i'm editing out (deleting) material from a .wmv or .avi and then go to save,
it always saves to a .mov for some reason.
funny thing is that the new saved .mov is often larger in Mbs than the original .wmv or .avi.
i need the edited one smaller, and don't actually want it in a .mov either.
.avi or .wmv would be best...
any help here?

Thanks for your response Jim. I'm following a Lynda tutorial in which it says:
"If I want to trim off everything at the head, maybe this is all me talking before the camera starts rolling, I can do what's called a Top and Tails edit.
So, the keyboard shortcuts for this are Q and W, and they're right next to each other on the keyboard. If I hit the Q key, it will lop off everything before the play head to that edit point. So now, we just have the back half of the clip. Let me undo that, Cmd+Z. And if I hit the W, it will lop off everything to the right of where the play head is parked."
It seems to work for him in the video, and I can get the W shortcut to work but not the Q one. Not sure why!

Regarding fetching a BOM's top level material

Hi friends,
We have a requirement wherein we are supposed to fetch the top most level material of a component. I am aware that to do the reverse process i.e. to find the component BOMs for a material we have the FM "CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2".
But here our input is the component number and its corresponding plant. For this component we need to fetch the top most level material by looping at stpo and mast tables.
Also I would like to know if there is a direct function module available to get the top most level materials.
If anybody has worked on this logic/requirement before kindly provide your valuable inputs.

Activate Premilinary Documents tab of Foreign Trade in VL01N/VL02N

Hello All,
I have a request to have the ability to maintain Preliminary Document information in the Foreign Trade area of VL01N and VL02N. This tab is available on an Inbound Delivery in VL31N and VL32N. Can this be done without modification to the programs?

Edit material in DV re-capture timeline to HDV

(FCE HD)
Let say I have recorded material in HDV. I'll capture all tapes by using DV-codec (in camera Sony downconversion HDV>DV via firewire). All editing is done in DV.
When DV-editing is done, is there any way to re-capture timeline material to HDV? This way I could edit in DV mode, but make the final version to HDV (offline > online).

So because FCE HD can't do native, does it use Apple Intermediate Codec? And how much AIC takes disk space (e.g. one hour)?

Buttons in Toolbar of Tcode - VL01N,VL02N

        You might have seen there are two buttons in the toolbar of transactions VL01N and VL02N.
        Can anyone tell me how are they coded/created .
        I searched through the program of VL01N and VL02N , but did't got anything abt the buttons .
        I just want to know how can we place buttons in the toolbar as they are in the VL01N.
