Top side of x axis

Using 6i Reports I was able to put some labels on the top side of the x axis . ( Top side means - Consider a rectangle as the plot area of the graph .. then the upper side of the rectangle) . I have converted everything to reports 9i and using its Graph . I don't see any feature to put the labels on the top .
Please give some suggestion to achieve this .

You didn't show an example of what you really want! Do those x-values are just growing, but not evenly spaced numbers? Or any other kind of numbering?

In the time line, cutaways and titles are supposed to be linked on the top side of movie clips in the time line window. I don't know what I did, but now they are linked to the bottom side. How do I get them up to the top where they belong?

I'm working on a movie in FCP and using cutaways and titles in many places in the timeline. While working on a movie 2 days ago, and I don't know what I did, all the cutaways and titles are now linked to the movie clips from below rather than above. When I "grab" them and drag them up to the top-side, as soon as I "release", they go back down. Along the menu bar, I've check the "view", "modify", "clips", etc., looking for any thing that might refer to appearance of the time line. What must I do to get the cutaways and titles back on top where they belong? The audio clips remained properly-linked to the time line and play properly. The cutaways and titles can be seen but do not play.

You should take it to an Apple store or an AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) Carefully inspect the hinge joint and make sure there is no debris that you can see, you can try carefully sliding some sticky tape thru the joint to clear any loose stuff out. But this sounds like there might be more going on here, and the hinge is something that you do not want to fool with.

Text in Line Items for BCS top side entry

Do any of you experts out there know of a way to enter text in bcs line items for top side entries?

I understand that you are asking for line item texts in BCS. This can be acheived by an enhanecemnt in the code and I have done it before. this code is there in an OSS note and you can apply this note by using transaction SNOTE. (Can u pls check the oss and u can fix it asap. If u dont find the same let me know. I was checking this in my laptop and I ahve to go for a meeting now). I confirm that u can fix this in 5 minutes with that note.
You will see the line item texts in the screen after that.

Top side entry in FDM?

Hello,
Your expertise in this matter would be really appreciated. I have been asked to create a topside journal entry in FDM for Cost of Sales.
Now, every other source that I look into top side entries made only in HFM, but the financial reporting team has advised that we use these entries in FDM. could you please advise as to how and whether this is possible and what is the process/ logic or rules that define it?

Exporting Top Side Entries

We have a current business need to export our top side entries and load them to Essbase. (I understand it is not best practice, but this is a step for our future state of best practices.) Does anyone know how to do this? We are on 9.3.3 and will be upgrading to Fusion in the near future.

I'm not sure what best practice would be, but considering it's not even possible to extract all JV line item detail to Excel in 9.3.3 from the front end, there probably/unfortunately isn't one. We query the production tables directly via an ODBC connection and have a script to run it twice/day during close. The query outputs the detail to Excel file(s) on our SharePoint site. I'm sure you could set it up to create a text file instead to feed Essbase (or maybe even load Essbase directly).

When I open LinkedIn, there is on the top side a bar. How can I remove that?

Thhe bar appears evrytime just at the top of my account. Then is not to see what's written on that top.

i have a issue in my BIP report. I have to display total records info on Top place. for example
Category - It is a Group
Subcategory --it is also group
Total: 3 -----------------------------------> i have to display SNO records here (here it contains 3 records, so it has to display 3)

Total: 4--------------------------------> because it contains 4 records it has to display 4

when i put Total bottom place it is working fine. Please help me.

Top Side Entries - Best Practice to push back to GL

I'm trying to determine the best practice to get the adjustments made in FM back to the GL. The GL requires more dimensionality than FM captures. How have you done this in the past?

After each close period, we extract all JV line item detail directly from the HFM database and put it into Excel. We then have a macro which parses the file and emails each of our accounting region contacts their detail. The regional contact will then be accountable for ensuring each legal entity accountant in their region gets the information pushed back into the appropriate source system. At a corporate consolidations level, we don't attempt to provide too much guidance on the other dimensions which don't impact our HFM financials.

I'm just about getting to grips with Numbers, but I'm stumped at the moment with this problem.
I want to show zero at the top on the (y) axis, as zero is the goal and 100 is the starting point?

In the table "to_chart", the cell A1 contains :
=ROUNDUP(ABS(MIN(Tableau 1 :: B:E))/10,0)*10
The cell B2 embed the formula :
=$A$1+Tableau 1 :: B2
Apply fill down and fill to the right.
On the left edge, the colored rectangle is a text block in which I inserted the label values.
Of course if you dislike this scheme, you are perfectly free to use an other application.

Unable to change X-axis values in playback

I need help with an issue in SignalExpress which I am new to
and struggling a bit.
In PlayBack mode DisplayView I can’t get the X-Axis to
retain the values I set. I can change them but as soon as I click ‘play’ the
max value alters to what appears to be the buffer length of the recorded data,
the on screen, AutoScale is off. The play-position indicator shows that I have
more data than one buffer length and exporting the log file to Excel confirms
that all the data (greater than one buffer in length) is there.

Thanks for replying and giving suggestions.
I don't have Labview but could get evaluation version if you think this might help. I would be even less familiar with this than SignalExpress so the effort might not be worth it.
I have tried pre and post saving to set the x-axis, the results are the same. It looks like the values I set in the x-axis are overwritten by values within or associtaed with the recorded/saved file and I feel I must be missing something simple. I tried the help function and as far as I'm aware I'm following the information necessary.
What I do is set signal express to playback mode and in dataview having dragged my voltage logged file to the graph I right click and select 'properties' - 'scales'. for the 'time' option I uncheck autoscale andalter the max value to 300 ( I have 300 sec of recorded data) and click 'ok'. My data view graph changes x-axis to 300 max and a small ammount of data is compressed at the left hand side of the graph. I then click play at the top and the x-axis changes to 10 sec. The bar at the top shows 300s and scrolls though with what apperas to be just evry 10s of data (block) being displayed on the main graph.
If I then check 'properites' for the x-axis as above, auto sclae is still unchecked and max value reads 9.9s. I can change this and the graph x-axis changes until the next block gets placed on the screen where the x-axis reverts to 10s. After I make this change my data of unkown block gets compressed to the first 10s at the left, it fills the graph once updtae occurs but only the current (I assune) block.
if I look at 'playback options' I see nice little images of my data over 300s with start time 0 stop time 300 relative to log start time, block size 1000, overlap 0%, ignore last itteration if partial is checked and play entire intervals only is not checked.
I set the record side up for sampling 100Hz with block size 1000.
Hope this information helps you understand what is going on and that you can tell me what I've missed.

You can definitely show an inner shadow on just one side of a rectangle. You just need to turn the blur down to 0 to prevent it from leaking to the nearby sides. Then set the angle to an exact multiple of 90, like 270 to put the shadow on the top side of the rect.

Get rid of the white space at the top and bottom of the report when Printing as PDF document

Hello All,
I have a wider tablix report which is 29 inches wide. I have given the paper size as custom and width as 29 and height as 11 in report properties.I have deployed it and saved it as PDF document. When I print preview the report I am using the paper size as
tabloid (17 by 11) and selected the orientation as Landscape. I am getting the full report without any stripping but I am getting some extra space at the top and bottom when I print the report. Can anyone help me how to get rid of this space? . I checked the
margins for the report and it was 0in. Please help.

In Reporting Services (SSRS 2008), there are white spaces preserved in the report body by default. When the white space extends the body size beyond the width of the report, blank pages will be generated. To avoid the issue, you can set the “ConsumeContainerWhiteSpace”
property of the report to “True”.
Please try to adjust your margins (top + side) and hopefully this problem will get resolved

X = Page.Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin + Column Spacing)
Vertical usable area:
Y = Page.Height - (Top Margin + Bottom Margin + Header Height + Footer Height)
