Top up wipes out previous credit

Hi all
So I have noticed this a few times, but was not entirely sure if it was happening. Ok, I jumped the gun, I will explain the problem first.
I only use prepaid top up cards on my account, why this is. Well my Xbox account was hacked and £900 went missing on my creditcard. Took months for microsoft and my credit company, a lot of headaches, stress and worrying to finally get that money back. Anyway fool me once etc etc. Besides top up cards can be purchased in almost any retail shop/store, so they are easy to pick up and they don't use some confused point system. So a £50 topup card is £50 store credit.
However, I have noticed that any remaining balance has been wiped out. I wasn't entirely sure if this was happening so before I toped up today. I noted how much credit I had left over, which was £13.18. I then topped up my account with a £50 top up card. This should have given me a balance of £63.18, but after checking my account and refreshing and relogging, only the £50 credit was displaying as the balance.
I also thought this might still be a refresh issue and so i made a purchase. I bought the big bang theory first six seasons which was £33.99. The balance refreshed as £16.01, so the original balance of £13.18 was not added and has been wiped out.
So has anyone else noticed this on their own accounts. I have contacted iTunes support on this matter and asking for the previous balance to be added back onto my account. I can't or don't know how much I have lost previously to me taken note of this. It would be nice if support looked though all of my history and added it all, back, but I am really only looking for the £13.18 to be returned and hope they fix this issue so it doesn't happen again in the future.

I think customer service will be the only way to get this sorted I'm afraid as they will have access to your account.

The previous owner should have done all that prior to your taking possession. Not to brilliant leaving all his information available. Reboot holding den the command-r keys to the ML recovery disk. Select Disk Utility and run Erase Disk. Then reinstall ML. You'll need an Internet connection and you may need to purchase ML.

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

Template Updates wipe out PHP code at top of file

Hey everybody,
I'm helping my wife with a web site that needed PHP, and
since I know Dreamweaver I figured it couldn't be that hard to do.
And it's not - between the DW application development features and
a little hacking, it's been going fgreat.
But the site is based off of a .dwt template, and every time
she makes a change to the design it wipes out all the connection
code that dreamweaver writes at the top of the page... arrrgh! I
tried looking it up on the site, and tried adding a
codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" tag (I also tried "true") and that
did not help.
I never had this problem with Cold Fusion before. There's
something in the livedocs about "dynamic templates" but that seems
to imply I'd have to make my own XML definition file for php
documents, which is pretty stupid, and makes me think it's not
necessary.
Anyone ever come up against this before?

Each new beta seems to wipe out the tab groups defined in previous versions. Why?

Why does each version of the Firefox v.10 beta wipe out the previous beta's tab groups? Is there a way to recover them? I've had to stop using the groups feature lest I lose the tabs not included in the primary group.

While it isn't as easy to just use a Mac iDevice as media storage as Android and Windows, you can add documents and such like Word, PDF and others manually in iTunes to have them sync as well.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

The last two times I have updated my iphone 4 it has stopped during the process and has to be completely restored. This wipes out the memory that was used previously and it doesn't come back. Now with update to ver 6 it did the same thing. Why?

Enterprise activation after wipe out

I have a problem.
I had an old BB curve 8900, am I had some problems with it and I decided to buy another one.
On my old BB 8900I had Enterprise activation account.I received a new password and ALL the things I had on my old phone were synchronized on my new one. AND I don't want that. So I've wipe out my phone. But surprise when I entered my Enterprise activation account all the previous things that I wiped out were on my new wiped out BB curve 8900.
I don't want that. I want a new fresh BB !!!
Please help me, how can I wipe out everything, activate this account and have a fresh start.
PS: I love this function, I love that all my contacts, mails etc were there, but I just want to copy a part of them.
(I'm doing this because a while ago I've changed the language of the phone and in the upper right corner is a mark with "EN" and I really hate it, and I want it gone, but every time I change the phone, wipe it out, he reappears)...

If you are looking to start from scratch on your Enterprise Activation then you will need to talk to your BlackBerry Enterprise Server admin to see if they can disable the message pre population on activation.

You can't change to 'None' until you clear up the previous payment problem. Add a fresh iTunes gift card, or add a credit card, and then once the billing issue clears, you can choose 'None' again.

Please Help - LR update wipes out my catalog.

This seems an uncommon problem as I haven't found any other posts on it, but I'm having the issue that LR updates wipe out my catalog?! I've had LR4 for a couple years now. When the 4.4 update first came along awhile back, I accepted the download, and when I did so, to my horror my entire catalog was wiped out. I did a restore point (thus undoing the update) hoping that would restore the catalog, but it did not. I of course still had all of the files and side cars on my hard drive, but had to re-launch my most recent back up which had been a few weeks previous (I know, I know), and lost the history on the work I'd done on images after that.
Just now, when I launched LR, the update notice appeared. I did not accept the update as I felt is was a risk, and instead closed the box. Even so, my catalog was wiped out AGAIN.
My last back up was less than a week ago, but I'd done a lot of work on some images since then. While I know I can re-import the images themselves, I do not know if -- or HOW - I can re-import the side cars with the editing history (which I can see on my hard drive) back into Lightroom?!! Please help if you can. Thanks so much in advance.

Jim, appreciate the reply. What I did after this happened was go to my most recent back up which was five days earlier, and I launched that. I then re-imported the files that had been imported post back up, some of which had been edited. As I'd replied to dj paige, the edits I'd done post-back up were there on the re-imported images, however unfortunately the history on them has been wiped out - or at least it no longer shows up in the catalog. But If I'm understanding you, I should have been able to locate the catalog as it was just before the update? Because I did not see a catalog more recent than what was in the back up folder and dated Sept 1st. Obviously I don't have a clear understanding of how this all works, so will have to do some studying up.

How to wipe out iphoto library

I am upgrading either to aperature or Adobe LR and have my photos in my pictures folder and then imported them into iphoto. Seems like I now have 2 copies of each; one in the picture folder and another in the iphoto library. I would like to import them into aperature and then wipe out the copy that is in the iphoto library so I don't have duplicates on my hard drive. Is there a way to do that?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. If you've got a lot of effort into keywords for your photos and possibly comments you might want to keep the library if you go over to Aperture. I doubt if LR will read the iPhoto dB file for the keywords or comments so you might try Tutorial #1 to write the keyword and comments back to the original files so that LR might be able to harvest them from the files them selves.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
