Toshiba 47L6453DB in demo mode

My TV 47L6453DB keeps going into Demo Mode, why?
Reset the TV every other day for two weeks going through the setup is becoming a pain.
Connection to the internet is solid as a rock via a hardwired link just in case it is the wireless, so when it is not in demo mode all the apps work well i.e netflix, bbc iplayer etc.

Had to change the TV in the end, Demo mode every day.
New TV does not go into Demo mode but for one thing I have noticed.
If the TV detects a network problem on start up of an app you get the message check network connection or select demo mode. If you do the network check and back key you connect, all is well. Both TV's had the same firmware.
I suspect the TV does not like waking up the network to connect to the internet, but at least it does not go demo mode.

  • 32L6353 LED tv - cannot use Cloud features due to demo mode

I have just bought a 32L6353 TV. When trying to access Cloud features, I get the error message "This function is not available in demo mode. Please connect your tv to the internet."
I am UK based and have tried both wireless and wired internet connection. Network test was successful with both. I have tried multiple resets.
Please help before I lose patience and return the TV.
    Thanks

    Hi
The "demo mode" issue was already discussed in this thread:
    http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=72362
As reported by other user, the reset should help to solve this issue.
You would get an list of questions from Toshiba service which are needed to improve the service. You have to accept this and then you should be able to connect to cloud TV

  • Adobe Creative Cloud on Windows + Adobe Acrobat - Keeps going into Demo mode

    Hi,
Not sure my subject line is accurate, but here's my situation.
I have Adobe Creative Cloud - Student Membership.
I have it installed on my Macbook Pro on both the Mac OS X 10.9.2 and Windows 8.1 (Boot Camp) side.
So this counts as two computers... I have not installed it on any other computer.  Nor have I attempted to sign in to it on any other computer.
On the Mac side everything is fine.
On the Windows side... Creative Cloud refuses to stay signed in.  Now, I don't mind clicking sign in and typing my password... it's annoying, but fine... I'll deal with it.
What I do mind... is Acrobat closing after about 30-45 seconds while I'm in the middle of doing something.  I'll have set everything up and then bam the window closes, no warnings, no requests to save... NOTHING...
So, I'll do it again... and again... it'll happen.  Eventually it asks me to sign back in and then I'm good for a while.  But it reverts to Demo mode saying I have no trial days left.  But, I'm a paying member!!!!  I shouldn't have to a) log in every day (or sometimes several times a day) or b) have my program literally close without warning while I'm working in it - and sometimes not being able to save the work I just did - and twice already stuff that I CAN'T get back (luckily nothing critical yet).
Now the shutting down/closing issue seems to be only Acrobat.  The other apps seem to behave as long as I log in with the Creative Cloud systray app.
    Any suggestions???
    Thanks!

MaxSvedlove please see You are no longer signed into your Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unable-login-creative-cloud-248.html for information on how to resolve your sign in difficulties.

something went wrong with my apple tv and now it says that it is in retail demo mode. How can i fix it?  I have had it for more than one year without any problem

To turn on/off retail mode, go to settings, general, legal.
Do not open legal, just put the cursor there.
Then, on the remote, type this sequence : right - right - left - center.
    The AppleTV should reboot.

  • PRS-650 Demo mode

    Hi
I have acquired a PRS-650 from a shop which has closed down, but its stuck in demo mode as it was on display.
Anyone help with how I can get it out of this mode please?
have tried the PRS-600 reset instructions but they don't fix it

A "kind" man was still in the shop clearing out stuff and he swapped it for another one that was not stuck in demo mode.

  • I create a CNiGraph control dynamically, But why havent I seen the Demo Mode Message Window?

I am a licenced user of Mesurement Studio. I create a CNiGraph control dynamically. All work well.
Then I copied my source code to another PC, I run "regsvr32 cwui.ocx", I found I can compile my source code on that computer, without any message box.
But some people said that there will be a Demo Mode Message box.
That's to say, any one can copy my source code to other computer and compile it well, then how can I protect my right?
On what condition the Demo Mode Message Box will appear? I want it to show up when others use my code.

It sounds like you were expecting the message box to come up at compile-time. Is that correct? If so, that is not expected and should not ever happen - the message box that you're referring to should not come up until you actually run the application. However, if you're dynamically creating the control and you are specifying the license string at creation time in your code, I expect it would still work when you take the code to another machine. Could you please reply with more information about what you're trying to do and how you expect this to work? Thanks.

  • Apple TV (3rd Generation Retail Demo Mode

    Hey guys!
I'm kinda stuck here. I've been trying to activate the retail demo mode on Apple TV (3rd Generation) using the Right, Right, Left, Center button combination for our store demo model. That part worked, but from what i've read, there is supposed to be a retail demo reel that plays and I cannot get that part to work. It shows up in the screensaver section but when it activates, it starts up the normal floating photos from National Geographic. Does anyone know?! Please help
    Baz

Not at all unfortunately. Must only be available for Official Apple Stores. Kept trying all the time, to no avail. Never mind

  • Retail Display / Demo Mode: How to turn off

Hello, I recently got a Q10 from a seller on ebay and the unit is in DEMO / RETAIL DISPLAY MODE; can anyone tell me how to turn this off so I can use the phone?
Or should I just reload the OS using Link or Sachessi? Would that do the trick?
    Thanks.
    Solved!

But yeah, in any case, reloading the OS should get rid of demo mode if you don't have access to the password.

  • Printer LCD stuck in demo mode

The LCD screen on the printer cycles through the demo mode and no longer goes into power saving mode.  It used to work properly but now is stuck in demo mode.
    Any ideas?  Thanks.

    @ azloafer
There is an option in the setup menu of this printer to enter and exit Demo Mode.  If you currently are on the photo screen for the demo mode, then you will need to press the Home button in the top left of the display to get to the main menu.
    * Press the Wrench in the top right of the touch display to enter the setup menu
    * Select Tools
    * Scroll down to Demo Mode and set to Off
    Hope this helps.

  • PRS-T1 has changed to demo mode. How do I get it back to normal?

User guides and manuals both printed and online are useless.
Online troublshooting tips are not correct (tells me to press buttons that do not even exist on my unit.)
Links provided to others that have asked this same question also do not work.
Demo locks the user out of most of the features (including the ability to power off) and I have used a pin to push the reset button at least a zillion times with absolutely no results... How the heck did demo get turned on to begin with and how can I get it off and assure that this never happens again!!!?
    Feeling very frustrated right now!!!

    Hi “mrl1975”
I’m so sorry, but you are right!!!
The enable/disable procedure described on https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/32974/c/65,66/p/73878,73935,73936/
    is not for PRS-T1!!!
This is the correct answer for how to activate/deactivate Demo Mode on the PRS-T1 e-Reader Wi-Fi device. Just follow these steps:
How to activate/deactivate Demo Mode on the e-Reader PRS-T1 Wi-Fi device:
    1. Perform a Soft Reset on PRS-T1 e-Reader device
    2. Press the Power Button in order to turn the e-Reader on.
    3. While "Opening book..."  is displayed
press and hold pressed the Previous and Back buttons.
    4. Once the Home Screen displayed
wait 5 seconds at least, before releasing the Previous and Back buttons.

  • How do i get my phone off demo mode

i bought my phone from orange, but when they set it up in store, they set it up in demo mode. iv been back to the shop for them to tell me that it will take 6-7 hrs to sort?? can i not do this from home?

I think i know what your're talking about. You guys ever seen in the Apple store, some of the iPhones have a white background with all these different App icons shooting across the screen, then it goes to like photos or something. Sounds like you got a Display model pretty much.
Try hooking it up to iTunes, and restoring the firmware. That always wipes everything off the phone, and reloads the newest firmware back onto the phone. Give that a shot/
