Toshiba Bulletin Board screen size shrunk!

Hello,
I have been using the Toshiba Bulletin Board with no problems until recently when I tried to open it and the screen appeared as a tiny rectangle (around 50 x 20 pixels) on the top left corner of my screen.  I can't resize it back to it's original size.  I have tried restarting the software and rebooting my computer, but it is still opening up with a really small screen size.  Has this happened to anyone before?  Please help, thanks!
Best,
Elise

Here's your Toshiba Service Station download, Elise.  Hopefully, reinstallation will solve your problem.

  • Toshiba Bulletin Board - recover message?

From the Toshiba Bulletin Board I received two messages--one being notification of a BIOS update, 2.0.  I was able to install that update properly.  Knowing there were two messages regarding updates, I went back to retrieve the other one and it now shows I have zero messages.  Any way to recover the old message (which was for another download)?  Thank you.

    Hi Jim,
I see there is a 2.00 BIOS version for my L670-137 model (via my local support site). Do you know if this is the long anticipated permanent fix? Unfortunately, I can't find any release notes that state what was fixed.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Remco.

  • Satellite L650-1PE - Error messages in Toshiba bulletin board

I got error messages when i try to use Toshiba bulletin board, so firstly I got error 3 and then i press ok and i got error 23 which i don't know why? By the way, my laptop Satellite L650-1PE.
Also I uninstalled it and reinstall the latest version again but I got the same error messages. Please anyone can help me about it.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Error code 23 is not specific to a Toshiba Bulleting Board software.
This error is generated by Windows OS and the reason for this could be:
    Windows Registry Damage or Corruption
    Device Driver Conflicts
    Hardware Malfunction
    Virus or Spyware Infection
    Software File Damage or Corruption
So as you see, its really difficult to say what cause this
You can uninstall this software, could clean the registry using CCleaner and then you could try to reinstall this software once again if the new installation does not help, then I would recommend checking new OS installation but I think its really annoying to reinstall the Toshiba image only to get this software working again but its your decision

  • Re: Download Toshiba Bulletin Board for Windows 8

My wife has a Satellite L870-18V running Windows 8.
She has noticed me using my Bulletin Board on my rather older Toshiba Satellite L650-12Q (with Windows 7) and wants one!
Is it possible to download Bulletin Board to her computer, as it is not pre-loaded on her system?

The Toshiba Bulletin Board upgrade was available for notebooks which where preinstalled with Windows 7 and supports an official upgrade to Windows 8.
Such Toshiba BB upgrade could be downloaded from Toshiba EU driver page.
    [Toshiba Bulletin Board v2.1.21 Windows 8 Upgrade |http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory =2&selFamily=2&selSeries=363&selProduct=7400&selSh ortMod=null&language=13&selOS=all&selType=373&year upload=&monthupload=&dayupload=&useDate=null&mode= allMachines&search=&action=search&macId=&country=a ll&selectedLanguage=13&type=373&page=1&ID=85103&OS ID=42&driverLanguage=42]
But as far as I know Toshiba Bulletin Board is not available anymore for notebook which were released with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1

  • Toshiba Bulletin Board warns about poor security

    Hi all.
I've noticed this since I got my laptop (L500-1XL) that every few days a message comes up, then disappears but a red warning sign is left on the security section of the Bulletin Board, and if I hover the pointer over it, it says "poor".
    What does that mean?
What am I supposed to do with that vague information?
    Anyone else have that problem?
I have anti-virus installed, updated, running, is registered with Windows and Windows doesn't register a problem.
    I've a firewall running fine.
    I don't get it! What's poor?

    Hi
I think it has nothing to do with the notebook security.
    The Toshiba bulletin board provides a lot of information;
Networks/Wlan, PC health monitor, security, PC diagnostic, Eco utility
Maybe the notification means WLan signal strength ?:|
Sorry but its really hard to say what it is without having more details
However, here is an Toshiba Bulletin website from Toshiba:

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Go to the product support link at the top of this page, enter in your model number, then click on the downloads tab.  See if it's listed there.
You might need to click on the blue text link that states Show All Models to show yours.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

  • Toshiba Bulletin Board labels grayed out

New laptop and Bulletin Board was working just fine for the first few days.  Now the labels gadget is grayed out and cannot be accessed.  I really like using the labels and want them back.  I'm afraid to do an uninstall and install because I have a  lot of information on a couple of boards I have created and I don't want to lose the data.
    Any suggestions?

Thanks for responding, Jerry! I realized that I had forgotten to put the model and parts #s in my Post the minute I clicked. Here they are:
    Toshiba NB 305-N410BL
    Part# PLL3AU-00G00C
I have another issue vis-a-vis the labels on the bottom of the laptop.  I have a Microsoft sticker with a Product key # for Windows but I do not have a separate sticker for Microsoft Office (or for  Microsoft Works - assuming that suite has its own sticker).  In the past my HP and Dell laptops have had such software stickers either underneath the laptop itself near the Microsoft Windows label or somewhere on the outside of the box the laptop was packed in...or on the disc or CD (there are no discs or CDS with this Toshiba - like most if not all new computers).
Do you have any ideas how might get my Product Key # for my Microsoft Office Suite?  I can only use this software 25 times without registering...and I have 22 uses left.  I write a lot and don't this software to lock up on me.
    Many thanks!
    Alex

  • MBP Screen size shrunk

    Hi,
I just started to experience an interesting problem with the display of my MBP 15 . After I have installed the office, my screen size has shrunken suddenly about % 2~3. If I look at the edges of the screen it is offset 2 mm from the display(plastic sides and the hinges). There are 1.5mm thick black regions from every sides of the screen. Basically, it is like a 14.5" MBP now! I can not use the full display area. My resolution is fine and I am not using any zoom option.
Has anybody experienced that problem? What is wrong?
    thanks.

I have seen this a few times but in my case it is always the resolution. I would try changing your resolution to a different resolution then change it back to the native resolution of your display, which I am going to assume is 1440x900, which is the native resoultion of my display. Also are you out putting to a secondary display with mirroring on. I know that it I have my resolution on my MBP set to 1280x800 and if I connect to a data projector of the same res., my MBP won't let me output 1280x800, but it will output 1280x768, so it puts black bars top and bottom of my screen so that it can match the 1280x768 res that it is outputing to the projector. If this is your case I would also recommend disconnecting the external display and seeing if this gets rid of the black bars. Good luck. - KLP

  • Bulletin Board - Message centre false alerts

The TOSHIBA Bulletin Board keeps alerting me to two Messages. However, when I "Open the Bulletin Board" and "Show All Messages" the messages disappear. The process repeats, sometimes daily.

    Hello
What messages or alerts you get exactly? Can you post a screenshot? This would be really useful
In my opinion you could also try reinstalling Bulletin Board. Probably its malfunctioning or something else You can download the newest version of this tool on Toshiba website:

    Check this!!!

  • Can't make updates with Bulletin Board

The Toshiba bulletin board say's I have updates to do, I go in, and in fact there are updates, but when I press the transfer button, it says it can't detect any network.
I'm connected to the internet when doing this.

    > theres a BIOS update in there... I heard those might be important
You shouldn't touch Bios if everything works fine. Bios is a tricky procedure but if you want to make bios update anyway, go to the http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp Choose the right Bios version and flash it. Read, how to do it:

  • Satellite A300 PSAG0A - Games Will Not Display in Full Screen Size

I have a large number of games installed on my computer. At least 90% of them will not display in full screen size but display in a small window with a large amount of black screen surrounding the window. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. However, I do not think it has anything to do with Windows as my husband runs the same games on his Toshiba Satellite L300, running exactly the same version of windows, and they all display in full screen size.
Altering the screen resolution makes no difference. And, of course, I do select the full screen option in the games.
Also, sometimes when I have been playing a game and then closed it I find that my desktop picture has shrunk to the smaller size - the same size as the window in which the game was displayed when I was playing it.
The games work fine in every other way, it is only this small screen size which is driving me nuts.
I hope that someone can help me with this!!

Yes, as far as I can tell I have the latest driver. But, even this is confusing to me because....
My graphics media accelerator is Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family. The installed driver version is 7.14.10.1329. The release date for this is 2007-09-13, as far as I can tell from web searches.
However, on the Toshiba website for driver downloads, the available driver version is 8.2.0.1012 PV. The date is 2006-12-28. I have downloaded this driver and attempted to install it. I get the message that it has been installed but, after rebooting and checking the installed driver version is still 7.14.10.1329.
Perhaps, the 8.2.0.1012 PV version does not actually install because it is older than the currently installed version. I would have thought that the driver version with the higher number would be the newer one, but perhaps this is not the case as the dates do not seem to support this theory.
So now I ask myself, firstly, if the driver available for download on the Toshiba website is not the newest one, then why is it there?
Secondly, if it is the newest one then why will it not install on my computer?
