Toshiba C655-SP6001L Audio Driver xp/7 32 bits

HI, I'm have a computer store and the model A655-SP6001L just came to replace the sp5015/17, this system has no OS and brought no cd what so ever, and in your web site the only thing that can download is the bios, nothing else, so ??? Its a joke or what,I be able with a lot effort to get the wireless and lan drivers form atheros, but need the sound driver, I'm pretty sure that is conexant but cant find the exact model, can you be kind enough to give me the model of the sound card.
PD: Don't even occur to mention that doesn't have xp support, this system is a celeron and 1gb so be serious.

Toshiba C655-SP6001L
Can't find that model anyplace. Maybe it's this one?
Satellie A665-SP6001L (PSAW0U-014LM3)
in your web site the only thing that can download is the bios, nothing else, so ??? Its a joke or what
If so, lots of drivers and utilities here.
Satellite A135-SP4796 (PSAD0U-0N100H)
Compare that spec to the one below. Notice that the part-number family PSAD0U is the same.
Satellite A135-S4656 (PSAD0U-0N500N)
Consequently, the Toshiba drivers and utilities here should work just fine on it.
Who check this forum ???
There is no Toshiba tech support here. We are users just like you.

  • Windows 8 Toshiba p100-415 Audio-driver

I have installed new Windows 8 on my Toshiba p100-415. I even have already installed all drivers correctly, except the Audio-driver. I can not find a driver, that works. I already had the same problem when I installed Windows 7, but then I solved the problem sometimes. But now it won´t work!

That doesn't appear to be a US model, and this is the forums for Toshiba USA. You may want to contact Toshiba in your region. If it's a European model, you could check the Toshiba Europe forums.

  • Qosmio G30: Conflict between Sigmatel audio driver and Vista SP1

    Hello,
I have a Qosmio G30 PQG32E notebook and can't upgrade to Vista SP1 because the Sigmatel driver (6.10.5462.0) is conflicting with the service pack.
As some of you might know, Sigmatel no longer exists and IDT who bought them is as good as non-existent, saying to contact the OEM directly for updated drivers.
Is there any plan to upgrade the audio driver ?
There are huge memory leaks in my case from the audio driver.
When using Photoshop or Premiere Pro, the audiodg.exe proccess consumes 800MB and more after one hour of continuous work.
I am hoping for an updated more stable driver, and more stability from SP1.
    Am I a dreamer?

Have your problems started after SP1 installation? Just for info: at the moment Toshiba does not support SP1. I really believe that you have some troubles and because of that I still wait with SP1 installation.
You are right about Qosmio. It costs a lot of money but using delivered recovery image installation you will not have any problem. About memory and how much resources Vista needs you can read everywhere. Even if you close some application RAM will still be occupied with different information. If you start the same application again you will see that application starts second time much faster.
    It is Vista!!!
You have really nice notebook and you should upgrade RAM to maximum level. I am pretty the notebook will runs much better and of course faster. For such notebook 2 GB for Vista is really the minimum.

  • Satellite R10 Audio Driver

After formatting my hard drive and reinstalling everything from scratch becuase the recovery disc I received from toshiba doesn't match my computer even with the disc saying its for the R10/R15 satellites but whatever; I can't find the audio driver anywhere.
Where can I find the audio driver for my R10. None of the audio files on the driver download section of Toshibas website do any good......
    Thanks

I have XP Pro on the R10 now, but the original OS was XP tablet edition. Since the recovery disc that originally came with the computer doesn't work I was forced to put XP pro on it. None of the audio drivers from the link above work that are under the satellite R10...

  • Windows 7 Conexant HD Audio Driver for dv2214us...

If you have installed a version of windows 7 on your dv2214us series notebook, most likely you do not have the correct audio driver (the QLB for Mute will not turn amber and you lose settings in "Playback devices").  To correct this, 1st open device manager and unistall the current "microsoft audio device" driver under the device driver properties (you should now have no sound).  Then download & install driver in the support page... direct link for dv2214us is: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp39501-40000/sp39520.exe  At this point the install will seem like it will come up with unsigned microsoft driver for x86 users (you should have sound now, but if you reboot, it goes away).  For x64 users, you will have a FAILURE  and not get to the unsigned driver screen.  You will have to go into the swsetup folder and install from the x64 folder (C:\swsetup\SP39520\V64\setup64), now you will also get the usigned driver screen. To avoid FAILURE with x64, you can cancel the install on the 1st screen (shows UPGRADE in task)  the locate the x64 folder decribed.
Since HP has not published theses drivers to microsoft for the Windows 7 OS, they do not currenlty have a signed version for the coxexant driver found in this labtop.  Until this driver gets signed you can bypass this by using Driver Signature Enforcement Override located at http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo  You will have to use device manager and locate all the .sys assigned to this driver under the "driver details" found in the "driver" tab of the device properties and add them using the override program.  You might have to reboot a few times to get it right.

Windows 7 is still a PRE-RELEASE OS until the OFFICIAL release date of October 22nd.  Toshiba and other manufacturers are still working on their drivers and may not have fully functioning drivers until then.  My advice is be patient and wait for them to get all of the bugs out.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

  • Cannot install audio driver because Microsoft bus driver should be installed

    hello!
I have a satellite serie A laptop. When i try to install audio drivers it says "Microsoft bus driver should be loaded before installing Realtek High definition audio driver".
I've downloaded KB835221 and kb888111xpsp2 uplods and they should fix the problem, but they didn't. what should i do now?

    Hello Jan
I presume you want to install your own operating system (probably WXP Pro) only thing you must do is to install all drivers and Toshiba designed stuff in right order. I dont know which notebook model you have exactly but check if you can find installations instructions document.
If you have newer unit A series be sure that WXP contains SP2.

So you have the Conexant 20585 smartAudio HD. The correct driver is offered by Lenovo here.
See this message in our forums for how to install it. You'll need to adjust the instructions for XP of course.

  • Satellite A100-920 - Audio driver problem - Win XP Pro

    Hello all,
I am having an issue with an audio driver. I can't seem to find one that works anywhere, I have looked at multiple forums and the Toshiba website for suitable drivers with no success. I've basically hit a wall, so hopefully someone can provide a working solution. :)
    Audio device:
Device: 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller
    Manufacturer: Intel
(Details retrieved using a Ubuntu 9.04 Live CD)
Although a windows system labels it as "Realtek High Definition Audio Controller"? (I'm no expert with drivers, so maybe thats a stupid question...) :)
The computer is a Toshiba Satellite A100-920 (PSAA9E) running Windows XP Professional.
I have spent hours trying to solve this so I'm hoping this is the last mile. :) Thanks to anyone with any suggestions.
    Best regards,
    Alan

    Hi
The sound driver is designed by Realtek!!!! So its a Realtek sound chip!
You need the Realtek sound driver and you can find it on the Toshiba European driver page as well!
    You need also the SP3!
But the point is that SP3 has to be installed before sound driver!!!
If you have already installed the sound driver then remove it (uninstall).
You should also access the device manger and should remove the sound card from the device list!
Then reboot the notebook and after that install the Realtek sound driver again!!!

Now the original driver was designed for Windows 8. I am now running Windows 8.1.
The new Driver does not work. What do I do ??
I have loged onto the Toshiba web page downloads for this laptop. The Driver 6.0.1.7023 does not exist.
Where did Service Station find it ??
    Zefs.

    > Where did Service Station find it ??
Good question. My question is: why do you change something if not necessary?
Anyway, have you tried to remove this driver and install old one?

  • System recovery disk failure Toshiba C655-S5300

I tried using the FACTORY system recovery disks on my son's Toshiba C655-S5300 laptop.  During the installation of the first disk, the installation appears to bog down and stop. The disk drive begins "chugging", and will keep doing so. I terminated the recovery and made the mistake of reformatting the HDD.  Therefore, I cannot perform a system recovery form the HDD.  A subsequent try at recovery resulted in the exact same thing at the same time in the recovery process.
I thought that maybe the HDD was bad, so I tried it on a spare HDD of identical specs.  It does the same thing on that HDD!  Both HDDs appear to be still functioning well, so something else is wrong.
Does this mean that the factory recovery disks are bad?  What other things can cause this?  What other options do I have to restore my son's computer?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
    Dave

It does sound like the most likely cause is bad recovery discs. However, there could also be a hardware failure in the laptop such as the optical drive although this is less common.
