Toshiba Radius P55W Rubber Feet

Hi,
I am looking to purchase rubber feet for Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W. I could not find them anywhere on internet.
Please let me know if someone finds it.
Regards,
Mihir.

If no one locates them for you. Call or go to your local PC repair shop, they should have old - bad laptops that they will sell parts from. I made some from rubber, cut to fit and then used superglue to attach to the laptop bottom.

  • Toshiba Radius P55W-B5220 Wifi Driver

Hello Everyone, After updating to Windows 10, the Wifi driver was working properly and I navigated and the system was slightly faster over Windows 8.1. After the next reboot, the driver stopped working and the network center said that the adapter was turned off. After investigating, apparently there needs to be an updated driver for Windows 10 in the 18.11.0.x range. Toshiba doesn't provide it yet apparently.
Looking at this link: http://win10upgrade.toshiba.com/swupdate/modellist.aspx?region=TAIS&lang=en&country=US It shows Satellite Radius P50W-B (PSVP2)‎ which is able to be updated. Does this cover the P55W version as well? I'm sure it does as the first few letters of my P/N is PSVP2. Already spoke to support, no avail. I would like to see if anyone can confirm it. I guess we're waiting on Intel to release the updated drivers.  The wireless card is the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260. Anyone had luck?

Yes. In fact if you put the whole part number (PSVP2U-003004) in here, you'll come to a page that lists new software for Windows 10.
It also says "Your selected Toshiba PC is supported for upgrade to Windows 10. Now all of the software for the upgrade is available." There are seven items listed, but there is no new WiFi driver.
I take that to mean the old driver for Windows 8.1 should work. What does it have in Device Manager for Device status of the Wireless-AC 7260?

  • Compare toshiba Satellite S55-B5289 with Satellite Radius P55W-B5224; which better

can someone make a comparison of these 2 laptops?    one has a i7-4710HQ processor that is supposed to be better than the i7-4510U processor but the later is laptop is supposed to be a high end better laptop??
    is the S55 a 780 p laptop and the P55W a 1080 p laptop?

    See specs above.
Yes, the Radius screen is 1080p and also has IPS. And it has a volume up/down button. backlit keyboard, and all 3 USB  ports are USB 3.0.
The Radius is missing an Ethernet port. Also, there is a problem that has not yet been resolved regarding its Intel Wireless-N 7260 card. Search this forum and you'll find many have difficulty with connection speed.
I wouldn't consider the difference in processors to matter.

  • Satellite Radius P55W-B112 headphones not working

I just purchased a Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W-B112 and I have noticed that whenever I plug in ANY set of headphones the audio plays fine for about 4 to 5 seconds and then it goes crazy and I get incredible interverence, cracking and buzzing. I am wondering if this can be solved via some software update or if it is hardware related and I need to get it serviced. PLEASE HELP

I bought a Satellite S55t-B5260 around Jan 2015.  It has worked fine since I've had it.  Several months ago I upgraded to the Windows 10 Preview edition.  Everything still worked.  All of a sudden about a week ago I noticed my external speakers wouldn't work when pluggd in.  The laptop speakers work fine.  When I plug in external speakers (or even my headphones) the sound comes through and sounds normal for about 2-3 seconds, then drops to a low volume for 1-2 seconds, then turns into static/popping sounds only.  If I unplug and plug them right back in, the same thing happens... works a few seconds normally, then doesn't.  Not sure if it has to do with a recent Windows 10 upgrade or if it's a problem with the speaker jack.

  • Satellite P300 156. Rubber feet?

Not a very technical question I know, but does anyone know where I can get the little rubber feet on the underside of the laptop?
    I have lost one
    Thanks.

    Hi hawkerpaul,
I agree with the user above. You can get this rubber feet and all Toshiba spare parts from an authorized service provider in your country. Just follow the link posted by MisterX.
Furthermore its always interesting to talk with the guys a little bit. They are very friendly ;)

    Thanks in advance

    Hi
Just to let you know, I phoned the Toshiba Authorised Service Partner. I called them and although they did not have any in stock, have ordered a pack of 4 which I should get in a few weeks. Minimum order of about 15 though!!

  • Satellite Radius P55W has an annoyingly loud fan!?!?!

I’ve had the Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W B5318 (SSD version) for less than a week and love its performance, its very fast, light and the folding screen is awesome. I discovered that the wi-fi on it is inferior, but that’s still acceptable for me, as is the small SDD size (256 GB). What I didn’t expect is the hardware design flaw in these machines, that being the fan. It turns on and off quite frequently at random times, is loud, and the worst part is it may turn on for 45 seconds and then off and it will make a sputtering noise at both ends. Its very distracting and annoying and is a deal breaker so I have to call this laptop a fail and bring it back to Best Buy and get a Lenovo Yoga and leave a bunch of reviews every where to warn people about this laptop. It’s a shame because I really want to keep it and even looked to see if there was any software that will either turn off the fan or slow it down, but there doesn’t exist any for this computer (Speedfan doesn’t support this motherboard apparently). And I cannot get into the BIOS either to adjust the fan’s power function so I don’t really have a recourse. Toshiba, why did you have to include this annoying fan and then not give us the option to control/turn it off? Do any of you find that the fan turns on a lot to the point of being annoying? Audio90

Hello I just bought the Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W with an i7 processor today. There are many things about it that I liked, which is why I bought it.. bought I did notice right away, that the fan does intermittently turn on and off, even when I am not doing anything, or running any programs. It's funny, because I returned a brand new Dell, and got this Toshiba, exactly because the other brand new laptop was doing the same thing! The noise of the fan is not that loud. But I could see it getting bothersome. Plus, my concern is, why is it doing it? And what happens when I begin running Photoshop and many other programs at the same time? Anyway, to anyone with the same or simiar issue, try doing this... the USB port on the left side, right next to the AC adapter plug-in... use it for either a wireless mouse or wireless keyboard. I plugged in a wireless mouse receiver into that port, and as strange as it may sound... the fan problem has gone away for now. I have a couple technical theories as to why this would make a difference.. but I won't share my guesses.. until I know for sure this is a workaround. I would love to hear from anyone who is having a similar fan issue. Except for this problem, I really love this laptop so far. And if possible, don't want to return it, and look for another one with similar specs and performance levels. LaptopFiend (J.M.)

  • Where can I get replacement rubber feet for Macbook Pro 2009?

Does anyone know where I can get the black rubber feet that go on the bottom of a Macbook Pro (2009)?
I have checked with Apple stores and they said they don't have them.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Courcoul, greeting friend;  Might not those feet subject the MBP to high altitude sickness?
Ha ha! Then my MBP, sitting on top of a RoadTools CoolPad with a 3/4" rise in the rear in addition to that afforded by the Speck hard shell's integrated feet, will surely die of oxygen deprivation...

  • How to find rubber feet for mbp 13"?

I've lost one of the rubber feet on the bottom of my macbook pro 13" 2.6 GHz core duo. What can I do please? Can anyone inform me, so that I can find a solution?

Any hardware and many other stores such as Target or Walmart sell little rubber or felt furniture protectors that you stick to the bottom of items you don't want scratching the furniture or wood floors. Try these.
Or see if you can find replacements at the Apple store.

ebay for $4 or from Apple as well.

  • Macbook pro retina 2013 broken rubber feet.

    Hi all,
The rubber feet on my 2013 macbook pro retina have worn away really badly and a couple have fallen off.
I tried a light glue to hold them back on but this only worked for a few weeks.
I have tried ebay for new cheap Chinese feet but they didn't have my model, purchased some anyway on the off chance they'd work anyway (what's a couple of dollars for such an annoying issue), no dice their centres were too tall so the feet don't make contact with the base (hard to explain, I guess the old models had a hole in the base the feet slotted into)
The online chat person said that apple doesn't sell the feet and that I'd need a whole new base plate... This is ridiculous they're sticky rubber feet! Does anyone have a beat on some after market "fake" feet that would fit my model properly?
I'm not entirely convinced this is caused by reasonable wear and tear, they wore really badly I've never had this issue with old macbooks but I guess arguing it's a manufacturing defect outside warranty is probably more trouble than it's worth.
    Thanks all .

I measured the diameter of the foot on my MBP and it is 16 mm.  I suggest that you measure the size on the retina MBP.  If it is the same, purchase the non retina ones and glue them in place.  Just on principle purchasing a bottom plate is absurd to replace one of the feet.  That was the case with the non retina MBPs a few years ago.
What you may need is a pentalobe driver to get the bottom plate off of the MBPr in order to properly install the foot.
    Ciao.

  • Rubber feet and european discrimination

    Hi,
Just like many others I've lost a pair of my iBook G4 rubber feet. Searching in these forums I've found that apple has a kit that they send to users with the rubber feet and a set of screws called Foot & Socket Kit (http://www.apple.com/support/ibook/doityourself/) and a usa apple care phone number to order it. As it's still under guarantee and I've also got the extended apple care guarantee. I give hem a ring in Spain as I'm Spanish. first I get to speak to somebody in Holland, and he tells me that as the page is in English and belongs to apple usa they can't send me the kit as the european or spanish policy is to take it to an apple care center. The problem with this is that the nearest one is 50km away. I object, he puts me on hold and comes back with the same answer, no.
I give them another ring and I talk with a lady in another country, she reads the notes of the other call as she tels me hat i all she can do.
I think this way of doing things in usa and europe is a way of discriminating european customers which like me pay more for apples laptops that have a tendency of loosing their rubber feet.
    iBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Well, I got on to apple foor the third time today and they are making an exception and sending me 4 new rubber feet for free as I'm still under guarantee. they say they can make the exception as it seems the foot got unstuck because of the heat generated by the computer

  • Recent experience with rubber feet coming off?

The top left rubber foot of my MBP bought in July 2011 has come off. My Apple Care expires today (grr) and my local store closes in 10 minutes, so there's no way I'll make it there. I've seen some past threads about this issue, but most are from 2011 or earlier, when rubber feet weren't sold separately.
So, what are my options? Most of the stuff I've read seems to recommend changing the whole bottom case. I'm hoping that's not necessary in my case - only the exterior part of the contraption has come off. Can I just buy a new rubber foot and stick only the exterior part back on where the old one was? Is there a way to stick the old foot back on (I still have it, but am hesitant to use another type of glue in case it damages the computer)? Any other options I'm missing? I've already had to pay for a new battery and cable that weren't covered by the Apple Care, so I'm hoping to avoid any additional fees!
    Thanks for reading!

Sorry to bump off this topic, has anyone experienced this?

  • Rubber Feet on Macbook Pro mid 2012 Replacement

One of the rubber feet on the bottom of my Macbook Pro mid 2012 Retina fell off and I would like to replace it. Only parts I can seem to find online are for the entire bottom case (which I don't need) or for non-retina feet. Anyone have this same problem and have a way to just fix the one rubber piece?
    Thanks.

I have a late 2011 MBP and my rubber 'feet' don't slip on my Formica desk surface. It could be that yours are thinning out, I suppose. Some people have had luck with Apple replacing the feet only while others have had to have the bottom casing replaced, feet and all.
Try taking your unit into your local Apple Store and see what they can do for you. I'm sure that they'll charge you something but if it's only for the rubber disks, it shouldn't be much.
