Toshiba Satellite L675 won't boot (asks for boot device)

Recently my laptop has been acting kinda weird,all i did was drag a shortcut to the recycle bin and the pc locked up, after a few seconds the screen went black, then i got a blue screen.
On rebooting, this is what I was looking at.
I assumed the HD had died as it was making a wierd repetative clicking when I tried to reboot.
I checked the bios and it said no HD was present, so I reset and chose the boot menu (F12) selected the drive and it booted ok.
All seemed to be running fine then it did exactly the same thing when I was playing a video. but again after selecting the drive from the boot menu the system boots and runs fine.
I ran a disk check, there were no errors reported, then ran a smart check .
Looks like the crashes fried a couple of sectors.
Anyone had experience of this problem ? the network card info on the boot screen after the crash is pretty strange.
I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64, and the laptop is a reconditioned one. Apart from these 2 random crashes, everything is fine.
I've attached the minidump to the post.
EDIT: I should mention, both the crashes happened while I was connected via wifi in my local bar.

No. That's to be expected. Your drive is clearly failing.
When the BIOS can't find anything else to boot from, it tries to boot from a network. It's reporting that it can't find the network.

Toshiba Satellite Laptop -- Won't power on or boot..

I can't get my Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5881 (model #: PSLC8U-00D010) to power up or boot. It is plugged in and the power light is on. I've tried re-seating the memory, hard drive and battery. I've also tried plugging in a monitor to see if it was the display. So far, no luck.
Any suggestions? Do these symptoms sound like the power supply, hard drive or mother board?

Did you check if you are still logged in with your info in Settings/iTunes and AppStore/AppleID?
If yes, Did you try to log out, reset the iPad, and log in again with your Apple ID?

Satellite Pro L - Mobile phone asks for driver

I am trying to connect my new Samsung Galaxy S Android mobile phone to my Toshiba Satellite, however the laptop will not recognise the phone and asks for a driver.
Can anyone help?

With every mobile phone it is delivered additional CD with different application designed for certain mobile phone. This disc must contain proper drivers so please check this disc and try to install software from it.
It is pretty easy and everything should be described in users manuals you got with your phone.

Toshiba Satellite L750 won't start at all.

Hi, I own a Toshiba satellite l750 (part number PSK2YA-04K010) and rather unexpectedly, it's just refusing to start. The lights at the front are on for the power adaptor, so it's not the power supply, and the power light flashes for maybe three seconds when I press the on button, but the laptop does not even start (no fan noise or anything". The power light seems to flash periodically at random as well. I've had the laptop since May at last year, and in December I had to get the hard drive replaced. I did get a blue screen with the message "Kernel page error" maybe a week ago, but other than that, no warning signs. If any one could help, it would be great. Thanks.

Turn off your laptop, unplug all wires, remove the battery, and hold the power button for thirty seconds. Afterwards, reattach the battery and connections.
If it still won't start, remove the battery and start with just the AC power. Next try without the AC power and just the battery. Also, check that the RAM is inserted securely. Instructions can be found in your user's guide if you need.
If that doesn't help at all, contact support in your region to seek service.

I watch a lot of TV shows on iTunes, and I've never had a problem like this before. Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 9, after each episode finishes, it wants me to put in my password several times, and it won't start downloading the next episode until I do. Sometimes I have to sign in 4 or 5 times in a row, and then it takes me to the "Apple Account Information" page of the iTunes store -- even though I never clicked on it.

Can't re-install CS3, won't even ask for my serial number

My computer repeatedly showed a message stating it needed to be reinstalled, so finally i tried to do so, only to not be able to install it at all.
it only installed "shared components" not my software! I doesn't even ask for my serial number. I took my software and computer to best buy, they couldn't install it,told me it was my hard drive. so i managed to free more than 100gb and it still won't install. I've encountered almost the exact same issue. Sadly, this is the state of Adobe technical support these days. I spent countless hours chattting with support staff who are mostly ineffective, and then they condemned me to the forums. I've been using Adobe products since the mid to late 80s (pretty much since they've been in business) and it's a disappointment to see that we're left to own devices to troubleshoot these problems. If you have any insight on how to remedy the installation problem since you originally posted, please let me know.

Lightroom won't work, asks for registration, but I have a membership

I recently bought a creative cloud membership after running trials of PS, AI, LR etc. Most programs are working as full versions now, but Lightroom is asking for a serial number when I try to open it.. I've searched thru how to activate it, but the answer isn't happening. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but the creative cloud list won't let me re-install it fresh as it just shows up in my list of programs as being up to date.. what do I do? I really need to get into it. Your help is greatly appreciated

My Toshiba Satellite A505 won't start up....

My pc was running fine. It shut down because we forgot to plug it in and charge it. When I did plug it in, I commenced to shut it down. When I tried to start it back up, NOTHING HAPPENED! There are lights telling me that I'm getting power, but NOTHING happens on my screen.
Can I fix this? Or, will it be covered under my 1 year warranty from Toshiba?

I have the same model, now 8 mos. old. Has worked great, until we went on vacation.I shut it down, closed the cover,I think for the very first time.It has never left my desk, so not abused in anyway.I came back after a week, opened it, turned it on, and got a white screen with vertical thin colored lines across the screen.It looked almost as if it was in the midst of defrag. I shut it down a few more times,and the same.Came on here and sombody had posted something about the battery and having it shutdown and plugged in for a period.I took the battery out, waited, tried it again.At one point I got the screen with the space for my password, then it like faded away.I finally gave up and called tech support. Useless....no clue, in spite of this similar issue posting here several times.Told me to plug in an external monitor(I had one oddly).If it worked on the monitor, I could take it to Best Buy to have it repaired under the warranty.He said to call back the next day after trying this and they would tell me what I needed to do.I plugged in the monitor, and perfect!!!At the same time, I noticed that when I close the cover part way, in order to see the other monitor,the laptop display screen was working as well.When I saw that,I lifted it up, and it went right back to the white with lines, and distortion.The external monitor continued operating.Now seems to me, it doesn't take a mental giant to figure out there is something going on in that hinge area.So I call back with the case number told the person(foreign of course) exactly what happened, and said, so I can take it to Best Buy and they can fix it, right?NOPE! He tells me the total opposite of what the guy the night before had said.Gives me another case number and says, I have to send it to their "repair depot" and will take 7-10 days from when they receive it!!!Best Buy can fix it, but only if you paid the extra for their warranty, not under the Toshiba one.So I'm in the very beginning stages of a brand new direct marketing business that relies on internet access....I ask for a supervisor..of course none there."Call and talk to customer service", they aren't open now, you'll have to call tomorrow.". So I have posted on Facebook never to buy Toshiba...I loved my first machine of theirs, but 8 months old, really??? and you can't replace or repair it immediately, really?? So if you really need to use it, hook up an external monitor, or try using it only partially open and see what happens!! Toshiba satellite c655 won't start

toshiba satellite c655 when I start it up it gets to the first screen that says "Toshiba Leading innovation" blinks then loops only responding keys are F2 and F12. I tried holding "0" to restore following the virtual help desk's instructions but that doesn't work. Anybody know what the probloem could be or have a solution?

Satellite L655D-S5116 - Recovery wizard asks for disk

When I get to the recovery wizard on my toshiba l655d-s5116 i should be able to select it and move to next screen where I can select recovery (out of box state). I have done this in the past without a problem but now when I click on recovery wizard the cd-rom pops open asking for a disk?
Never seen this before, so how do i do a factory restore now? i still have a recovery partition. and also why is it doing this now?

Dont know what happens here with your Recovery Creator software but it seems that the image files which are needed in order to create a Recovery disk cannot be found.
So it seems that you need to purchase a recovery disk.
Since your notebook seems to be a US notebook series, i think you have to check this page:

Do you still have access to the old email account? If so, see if you can verify the ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Verify (or Resend) under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email. Printer won't stop asking for password authentication

I have a 15 inch Macbook Pro 2007 with the grey keyboard. The rest of my family uses PCs and the household is a PC workgroup. I successfully joined the workgroup in Windows sharing mode. We have an Epson R340 printer that I sucessfully added. I can print, but the irratating thing is that every time I print, it always asks for authentication of the password. This will not stop. I even added to my keychain and it wil not stop. How can I stop this?

IPod touch won't launch, asks for iTunes sync after it has already setup.

Asked for update and will not restore. IOS 4.2.1 is installed. We have already set it up and used the iPod, but recently we have turned it off and it's asking for us to sync it with iTunes. Just like the setup was. We did what it asked but nothing will show up in iTunes indicating that the iPod is connected. The iPod was first connected to another PC, but was recently connected to current PC. We have tried bipassing this setup, but have failed to work around it. If anyone could help, that would be great
