What format are you guys oing to go with, i know apple is behind blu-ray right now,
Blu or HD dvd, what are you guys buying for your homes.
I went for the cheaper HD dvd tis week but think i will bring it back for a blu or hold off till next year
thoughts?
I think a lot of people are being patient and waiting to see which format wins in order not to make an expensive mistake.
It will be like standard DVD Recorders - £1,000 five years ago and £100 now.
Pioneers (trendsetters - not the electronics company!) always pay the highest prices.
In any case, if you intend to give/sell your DVDs to others, they will probably only have normal DVD players for the next couple of years.

I have purchased a song from the same computer on itunes that my library plays from. However this certain song is grayed out and will not play. It says the song is not authorized on this computer, but then I try to authorize it and I get a message that this computer is already authorized. Any ideas?
That suggests the track is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

i cant open many website with firefox, there say filter not let open this site, but when i open they with internet explorer not have any problem.

IPhoto deleted my photos. I'm not sure how this happened, but how do I recover them?
iPhoto deleted photos I took that I do need. I'm not sure how this happened but they are now no longer anywhere on my Mac. How did I get them back?
With that amount of information to work with, the only possible suggestion is that you restore from your back up.

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them

i am using i5,updated to ios 7,problem is after updated to ios7 whenever i conncet my phone for charging, at first notification i am getting is "this accesorries is not supported on this device", but phone is charging, before switched to ios7 it was ok, i am getting this notification each time i am connect my phone for charging, or laptop, why i am getting this?
I am not using extra cable for charging the phone or sync to pc, one cable which came with the phone.it was a full intact box. OEM not connecting to DB Problem not seen on this forum
Hi,
I installed Oracle 10g db server release 2 (10.2.0.1.0) and let it create a default database for the test purpose.
I received no errors during installation.
I tested the connection via SQL*Plus, and iSQL*Plus and it works fine.
But when I tried to run Enterprise Manager it can not connect to database instance.
database is open
listener is up
Agent connection to instance succeeded
I followed link Recovery Settings and tried to log in with
1. system/password ... as SYSDBA ----> ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
2. system/password ....as NORMAL ------>
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-12705: Cannot access NLS data files or invalid environment specified
Does anyone have idea why is this happening??

Under the 10g home tree in Registry, I can find just one more place where I can see some NLS settings, and that is

Cs4 trial "not supported on this architecture" but I meet min reqs...
I cannot get the CS4 PS trial to open on my iMac.
I have an iMac G5 with 1G RAM. I am running 10.5.6 Leopard. Far as I can tell, that meets the minimum requirements listed on the product page.
I have downloaded the trial and installed it just fine. However, when I go to my applications folder, there is a circle with a line through it over my program icon and when I double click it says that CS4 cannot open because it is not supported on this architecture.
I'm very confused! I just picked up this iMac the other day from a girl who said she ran the trial just fine. But, she wiped the system clean and did a fresh OS install before selling me the machine. Now, I can't use CS4?
I am new to Macs, so please be gentle. I appreciate the help in advance!The architecture error is nothing new and you can google for others with the same problem -- and with no better luck in finding a solution.
You can try the 'CS4 clean script' (also google-able) to clean the system prior to installing the full product but whatever you have is likely messed up because two trials were attempted.
When the Adobe software is installed, it allegedly writes data to the initial sector (MBR) of your drive which is not often wiped on normal reformats. You can either get a disk tool to wipe that area or try another hard drive. -
'Charging is not supported with this accessory' But phone isn't plugged in!
Hi, I spilled a small bit of water on my iPhone about 2 weeks ago.I put it in rice for 2 days and left it to itself for a while and its working again ( except the home button is broken).But the ' Charging is not supported with this accessory message' stays on my screen while the phone is locked when it ISN'T plugged in.It still charges,but this message appears when the phone isn't connected to anything.I cleaned the connector and this actually fixed a problem I had that meant the phone wouldn't play music, but this message is still on the screen.Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
Try Jailbreaking it, it should do something, and because you have your device on iOS 5.x then i recommend that you use Absynth to Jailbreak your device, that may get rid of the message, you might anlso try restoring your iPhone completely or just from a back-up, or if you do jailbreak your device you could delete the launch daemon that gives you the notification...

This means that you saved a child document as a template file at some stage.
If you go to Modify->Templates->Detach from Template, you can remove the template structure from your document. All you then need to do is to re-save the document as a template. -

It's rather difficult to give you advice since you do not say what you have tried or anything about your networking equipment but your underlying problem may be that you are not really be properly connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet. Other devices on your network may still have a proper IP address and continue to function.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
