Touch buttons not working correctly

my next/fast forward and previous/rewind touch buttons on my 15gb ipod aren't working right. instead of skipping to the next song or back to the song before, both buttons just start the song over again. I cannot get to another song. i have re-set and nothing. does anyone know what to do? i have had this ipod for 2.5 years now. help.

I have HP Pavilion dv5 and I have similar problem. Here is the information that may be helpful for you.
Click combination of buttons on your keyboard Windows+R -> Type MSCONFIG -> OK -> Continue -> Go to Startup Tab in the System Configuration -> Uncheck “HP Quicktouch On Screen Display Item” -> Restart Your computer.
This method does not solve the volume problem, but it disables the on screen display of the volume control. You’ll can work but there is no annoying bar.

Hello, I'm having an issue with a LaserJet Pr0 200 color MFP M276nw Touch Screen not Working correctly. I have followed the instructions to reset the printer, but now am unable to select 'English' as my language because every time I select the 'English' option 'Spanish' is selected. I am then given two options to select 'Si' or 'No' both of which can not be selected on the touch screen?
Anybody know of a way round this?

I see that you are having issues with the touch screen not working correctly. I will do my best to help you.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Was it the Nvram reset back to factory settings that you tried or a hard reset?
Try selecting the option on the display a little higher above the icon to see if that helps. Some touch screens are finicky.
I find that on the Lab printers when I am selecting different menus.

Title & Menu Buttons not working correctly on remote control/ set top player but work in preview.

Title & Menu Buttons not working correctly on remote control/ set top player but work in encore preview. This only happens for a Blu ray project. When a user presses the menu button it should go to the previous menu they were on but it goes to the main menu. When they press the title button they should go to the main menu but it doesn't do anything. My DVD projects work as expected.I've tried creating a new "test" project with different footage and still get the same undesirable results.
Overrides grayed out and set to "not set" for timelines and menus.Project settings and build are set to blu ray. Also I've noticed when I preview a Bluray project the preview window shows a red colored disc next to the Title button when viewing the timelines and green when playing the menus but not so for a DVD project it displays red if motion menus and or timelines are not rendered/encoded. I'm not using motion menus and all the media is encoded according to the project specs.
I've searched this forum but couldn't find the answer. Any help or redirects to a solution would be appreciated. Working with CS5. Thanks.

I found out on my Samsung Blu ray player the remote has a tools button on it that brings up audio, angle, chapter selection etc.and also title selection which is actually the menus and the timelines unfortunately. It's not as easy or direct as last menu selected but it's a workaround at least. I also plan on using a pop up menu. I'll let you know.

Middle select button not working correctly?

I have a nano second generation and the select button in the middle is not working correctly. I have to keep pushing it and pushing it to get it to work and now it's not working at all. Any ideas?

Buttons not working correctly/consistently

I am working with a template that has 5 buttons on each slide Back, Next, Help, Pause, and Play
The Help button is set up to Jump to Slide with the correct target, but for some reason it doesn't work. In fact, sometimes when I click Pause and then click the Help, it actually resumes instead of jumping to the slide.
This is pretty basic stuff, so I am at a complete loss. The only thing I am wondering about is whether the fact that the lesson was originally done in Captivate 5 could be causing an issue.
Here's the way the action is set up.

I have had issues with buttons not working properly in Captivate 4. When it happens, it is completely random and not consistent. To get my buttons to work properly, I usually just exit out, and go back to the project and then they work.
Sometimes it takes me going back the next day for them to work. There's no rhyme or reason to it. The settings are all correct. I don't change a thing. I save, and go back to the project and the button is working all of a sudden. At least that has been my experience the last couple of months.

'Get Variant' button not working correctly for report

I have created an internet service for a custom report. For some reason, when I click the 'Get Variant' button I get a popup, but it does not have any entries to choose from. It is blank. In SE80, the button works correctly. Any ideas?

Paypal button not working correctly in Firefox but does with IE

On the Donate page of www.jnh-goneriding.org are several Paypal buttons with drop down options. When you choose anything other than the first line and click on Buy Now - when it goes to the next screen it only shows the first line - not the line you picked in the drop down.
This works correctly in Internet Explorer.

Satellite A300-14s feather touch button not working

Hi,
I installed VMWare player on my satellite A300-14s running in Windows Vista 32-bit. But after installation, my feather touch buttons ( esp. the Illumination and CD/DVD buttons) stopped working.
Then I uninstalled it, but still the problem persist.
I don't have any system restore point before the installation.
What do i do?

Flash Cards Support Utility is not a part of Value Added Package! It has to be installed separately!
But dont mix it with flash card reader driver. Thats the driver for the card reader (SD, SDHC cards, etc.). You have to search on the Toshiba website for Flash Cards Support Utility.

IPod Touch Buttons Not Working

My iPod Touch 4th Generation's (White, 8GB) power button and volume control buttons are not working. The Home Button works fine. I have tried to restart the device and I have restored the device but that has not solved the problem.The iPod is not very old, has not been dropped and is in a case. Please help!

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Mouse buttons not working correctly

For several days now, my mighty mouse (another does the same thing) is frequently acting with left button like I am holding down option key to select a group, when it should just select a single item (ie, it grabs a group). I can use escape button or right button to stop this, but hard to manage it when working in email, or any area to select. This happens in any program I use. Right button works correctly.
During times that this is occurring, activating the dock will cause the animation to last a couple seconds to bring the dock to top of window.
I have reinstalled with archive, have gone back to another hd with 10.4.11 on it, and it keeps happening. When I reboot, I am coming up in safe boot, and have to do PRAM zap to get it to start in regular mode. What the heck gives?

if you open your home folder, do you see a "Library" folder? if it's hidden, spotlight won't find it.
You can try from the Finder menu at the top, there is a "Go" menu. Select "Go to folder..." and type:
Users/<your user name>/Library/Preferences/
(where <your user name> is your user accout name, for example "Users/dianne/Library/Preferences/")
within this folder now open, you will have files starting with "com.apple.driver...."
one or more of those should say "mouse"
delete those.

Center Button Not Working Correctly

I just bought a 30gb Ipod today and when I operate the wheel and center button, about half of the time the center button doesnt work until I touch the wheel.
Example. I wheel down to "music" and click center and it goes to the next screen, then wheel down to "album" and nothing happens until I touch the wheel again. This happens maybe half the time. Am I doing something wrong? Should I return it? It is a small problem, but an annoying one, and for a brand new $250 device, I want it to be perfect.

This could be either a more software-oriented problem with your iPod, or hardware.
Let's start out by resetting your iPod. To reset an iPod:
First, toggle your iPod's "Hold" switch back and forth a couple of times. (be sure to leave it on the white side of the switch, which is teh off position)
Then, press and hold the Menu and Select (center) buttons together for 5-10 seconds.
You might need to attempt at this several times. For more effect, try connecting your iPod to a power source while you try with the resetting.
Also, you could try restoring your iPod to factory settings. For instructions on how to restore an iPod, check out this Knowledge Base article:

Zen Touch buttons not working prope

Recently THe forward button has been either pauseing my player or randomizing all tracks. The back button also needs to be pressed more then once or hard to get it to work.... Anyone know why it has begun doing this?

Y50 touchpad let/right buttons not working correctly.

When I try to do a left or a right click my touchpad will only register it half the time. Sometimes have to click around 5-10 times before it will work. I can usually get the left click to work after only a couple of clicks, but the right click hardley ever works. I feel like the whole thing needs to be replaced and I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and got it replaced?? I bought it 4 months ago and its been not working pretty much out of the box. Honestly, although I love this comp, I completly regret buying it and wish I would have went with the toshiba I was looking at.

As per the query we understood that you facing issue with touchpad in your Lenovo Y50 laptop.
Try to update the driver to the latest version and check for the issue, after the driver update if still the issue perstists then it might be issue with the touchpad as you have mentioned that its been only 4 months hence you can contact the Lenovo support and get it replaced, or you can also contact the nearest service center.

New GT70 PE "G" Touch button not working

Hey everyone!
I've been very happy with my Dominator Pro, but I've been having an issue with one of the touch buttons. The "G" on the right side of the touch controls lights up when I press it, but doesn't seem to actually do anything. I've tried multiple google searches and really haven't been able to find a proper manual explaining what it should do. The only leads I've found so far is that it should be the system control manager but it doesn't seem to do anything when I press it!

I have my mouse set up to open dashboard with the center button, and spaces with the side buttons and it suddenly stopped working. I have checked it through preferences and it is still set up correctly. My husband and I split the computer into two users and it still works when he's logged onto his side, so I know the mouse isn't broken. Any ideas?
