Touch contol pad for volume,pause and play controls not working (pavilion dv7 3020sa)

The touch pad controls light up but i cannot use them, i cann not adjust the volume or press play or turn the wifi on or off. not responding to touch at all....can anyone help ???

Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Try this and see if it works for you. Close the Camera App in the recents tray and reboot the iPad.
Tap the home button once, then double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the camera app. Tap the home button again.

I tried turning the iPod off and on again, but that made all my apps behave like that. Settings and those things work fine still. Should this suddenly happen? I dont want to lose all 204 apps.

- First try resetting the iPod. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next try downloading/installing a new app
- Restore from backup
- Last, resore to factory defaults/new iPod. this is last result since you will lose app data.

Brightness and Play buttons not working on BT Keyboard

I have a Bluetooth, short aluminum kayboard. Earlier today my keyboard buttons for Brightness up, Brightness Down, Rewind, Play/Pause, Fast forward, all stopped working. My volume buttons still work though. I reset my PRAM, and made sure the F1,F2,F3, etc. box on keyboard preferences was not checked. I am running on Snow Leopard. I need help with this. Anyone have an idea on how to solve my problem?

To see if it's Hardware or Software, plug a USB KB in to test with.

Plug and play speakers not working properly after upgrading to Windows 8.1

After upgrading to Windows 8.1, my plug and play speakers do not work properly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them, and restarted. When I try to play music, nothing comes out. If I turn them off and back on, music will play for approximately 30 seconds, only from one speaker, then it turns off and fades to no sound. They worked fine until I upgraded to Windows 8.1. The manufacturer has not been able to successfully assist me. Has anyone else reported a similar issue after upgrading OS software? Any suggestions? These are fairly new speakers, less than 2 years old, and not used very much. I do have them installed via a K-V switch, and all other devices linked to the K-V switch are functioning properly (monitor and wireless keyboard). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Drivers assistance required for graphics card and fingerprint reader with W8 & Pavilion DV7-6B01ED

Hi - I own a HP Pavilion DV7-6B01ED and recently upgraded from W7 Home Premium to W8 Pro. Everything appeared to work fine except for the graphics card I have which now seems to always be on with the fan running, getting hot and running down the battery much more than before. I can not confirm what was reported as the graphics card in W7, but it is reported as the AMD 7000M after the upgrade. My invoice reports that it is a HD6490. Further to this, W8 reported an issue with this device in Device Manager.
Due to another issue (not hardware related) I decided to do a clean install of W8 which would also let me clean things up and to re-partition my disk.
In doing so I deleted the HP_TOOLS and the Recovery partitions. I'm not against recreating these but needed to delete them as I had 4 primary partitions and could not work within the restriction that comes with this. I understood from reading online that these can be recreated and the necessary tools re-installed (or another solution with DVD / USB employed). If the solution to my problems requires these to be installed, I'm happy to do so.
After the clean install, I continue to have the graphics card issue (same details as above) and the other issue I have is with the fingerprint reader. It shows up as an unknown device after W8 install (it did not have any issues after the initial upgrade I performed though).
So I've done plenty of things to try to rectify the issue and this includes installing the HP Support Assistant in the hope that this would help with the drivers. Instead of going through all the steps I've undertaken (I've read plenty in this HP forum and outside of the forum) and used certain W7 drivers, installed this that or the other program but unfortunately to no avail. I cannot get the fingerprint reader working and I still have a very hot and noisy laptop.
I'm good enough with OS and device driver installations and happy to get stuck into some unorthodox solutions if needs be. What can I do to resolve these issues?
Regarding the graphics card - is it a case that AMD have yet to release an updated driver? If so, I can live with that but in the meantime I would like to turn off the AMD card and work only with the integrated Intel graphics. Disabling the device in Device Manager does not seem to work. How do I do that?
The fingerprint reader is no big deal, but ideally I would like it working. What to do here?
If I need to do a re-install of W8 again and then get stuck into the driver installations I'm good with that, but would like to do it in a manner that will let me resolve these issues in the future without too much hassle.
The spec of my machine is: HP DV7-6B01ED 17.3FHD / i5-2430 / 8GB / 750GB HDD / HD6490

Thanks firstly for your reply. I re-installed W8 to start from scratch.
OK, so I thought the AMD driver worked. I had installed it before I posted to the forum but then the problem seemed to have returned. I'll have to play with the settings because just as I type this the fan has started for no reason, same problem as before. Is there any chance Windows Updates in interfering?
Regarding the fingerprint reader - it hasn't helped. In Device Manager I now see Biometric Devices > Validity Sensors (WBF) (PID=0018). Is there some further software I require in order to use the device. I'm going to install SimplePass to see if that's needed.

I am able to login to the Web, but when attempt to run the installer, it ask for a password and it does not work the password I used to login in the web.

I am new to Adobe Cloud, received the invitation from Adobe, create my account and I am able to login to the web. When Attempted to download Photoshop desktop, I was asked for Name and Password, the name was populated but I have to enter the password. I am using the password I entered at registration but it does not work and the Installer does not run.
I have a MacBook Pro with OS version 10.9.3.

I have a movie clip with 7 frames inside. Depending on what day it is, I would like to display a certain frame (for a 'Todays Schedule' section).
Sprite 200
Symbol 1 (movie clip - background pic span 7 frames)
Date (Movie Clip - Shows the date span 7 frames)
Schedule (movie clip - Shows schedule different per frame)
I'll soon be picking this up helping you out soon if al goes well just need to learn the syntax and whatnot.

If you are just starting out then you will probably be better off switching to AS3 from the start. It will probably be more familiar to you if you are familiar with other current object oriented languages.
As far as the code you show, you should probably get rid of the onClipEvent aspects of it and just code it into the timeline.
The second part of it with the enterframe... the enterframe functionality is not what the name implies. What it does is it triggers continuous processing of the code assigned under it at the frame rate of the file. It would seem you only want to execute that goto code once, so you probably do not want the enterframe aspect.
As far as your gotoAndStop line goes. The gotoAndstop() function does not return a value, so assigning it to anything is not going to yield a result.
If you move all that code to the timeline it could look as follows and might work (in case you did not, variables should be declared as shown)...
   var weekdays:Array = ["Sunday","Monday","Tuesday","Wednesday","Thursday","Friday","Saturday"];
   var myDate:Date = new Date();
   var tDay:Number = weekdays[myDate.getDay()];
   var tDate:Number = myDate.getDate();

BT Vision Box and Remote Control not working prope...

Can anybody help me please?
I have a black BT Vision Box. The remote control had increasingly been sticking so tonight I just turned the power off tonight, left it off for 20 seconds and turned it back on.
It seemed to turn back on and reboot itself normally, it took the amount of time it normally does on a couple of occasions when it froze a few months back. However since I rebooted it approximately 3 hours ago it has been turning itself off and rebooting itself every 10 minutes or so. On one occasion when I turned it off on the front of the machine and left it for a few minutes, it turned itself on and started rebooting itself again.
The remote control is worse than when it was sticking, now there is a delay of up to 30 seconds after I press a button. Sometimes it does not work at all, when that happens it just becomes stuck and eventually reboots itself.
So far I have tried turning it off and on again, I have also tried rebooting the internet connection (which is working fine). I have tried pressing the off button on the actual box for 10 seconds and resetting it that way. I have put new batteries in the remote. Nothing has worked. If anyone can help me that would be great.

Unfortunately I can't get that far now.
I turned all TV related systems off last night in an effort to see if it would work properly today.
I came home from work and turned everything on. The system boots itself up until it gets to a grey screen that says "Nearly there..." with the BT logo in the bottom right corner. It stays like that for approximately one minute. Then it turns itself off and starts rebooting itself again.
I have tried pressing the on/off button on the front of the box and holding it in for 10 secs or so until the box turns itself off and reboots but the effect is still the same as above.
Do you have any other suggestions pleaase, aside from throwing it in the bin?

Drag and Drop Control Not Working - IE 11

A user with MS Office 2013 properly installed/configured and 32-bit Internet Explorer, is getting an "x" in place of drag & drop control while uploading files to SharePoint document library. What could be the problem?
Any pointers?

User is using Internet Explorer 11. I have attached all the relevant screenshots. I also asked him to check the following settings and attached is a response:

KT4 Ultra: FSB Setting for 2400+? and USB Keyboard not working

I just picked up a KT4 and an Athlon 2400+ - What FSB setting should i pick to make the processor detect as a 2400 (currently w/ a setting of 133, it's detecting as a 2000+ 1.67ghz when it should be 2ghz.) - Is there some setting other than the FSB that i need to change?
Also, when i try to use a USB keyboard, it doesn't work after POST. I am able to use the keyboard to change the bios settings etc... but once POST is done, the keyboard doesn't respond, and every time you press a key, the numlock light flashes quickly. - This also causes all the other USB devices (mice, etc...) to stop working. - Everything is fine if i plug the same keyboard in via PS2, but unfortunatly, this isn't a good long term solution because i use a USB KVM switch.
Any suggestions welcome!

Ok, the FSB thing is fixed, thanks for the help.
As far as the kvm being incompatable, i thought of that, and tried plugging the keyboard directly into a usb port and got the same results.
I have tried just about every setting i think would relate in the bios and none have seemed to help. ;(
