Touch ID doesn't work for App Store

My iPhone 5s touch ID works only on the lock screen. I verified to make sure the fingerprint settings were for both pass code and iTunes or AppStore purchases (which it was) and it doesn't work for a App Store purchases. Help anyone?

I had the same problem. I did not have restrictions enabled. After reading through similar threads and the Apple support article for using the fingerprint sensor for App Store and iTunes Store, where it says that resteictions cannot be set to "immediately," I decided to enable restrictions and set to "15 minutes." That did the trick for me!

With my i phone 4 , the Push notifications doesn't work for apps like (fb viber , whatsapp etc ) it only works for the official apps like message even when im using the phone, has this probleme with the iOs 6.0.1 and also with the iOs 6.1

This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES doesn't work for app signed with entitlement in ML

I notice that DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES no longer works in Mountion Lion if the application is codesigned with entitlement.
For example:
DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES=./mylib.dylib /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari
dyld: DYLD_ environment variables being ignored because main executeable is code signed wit entitlements.
I know this is probably a new security feature added to Mountion Lion.
Anyone knows if there is an alternative way to do similar thing on Mountain Lion?

Apple ID not working for App Store

Is anyone else getting a "FATAL::Unable to process your request. Please try again." This is happening on my iPhone, iPad, and iTunes on PC. I have downloaded thousands of apps over the years and never seen this problem before.

I cannot sign into the Apple Store because does not recognize my id. Have reset twice and still tells me does not recognize my id. This just happened today.

Since downloading the iOS5.1 software to a 4th Gen ipod Touch Facetime doesn't work for all contacts. Any ideas?

When trying to facetime a contact (which worked prior to update) it says that person is 'unavailable for facetime'. Some contacts work and some don't. Facetime is enabled in settings.
Also can message some people but not others - not necessarily the same people that can't be facetimed.
Anyone experienced similar or got any ideas?

After updating my iPad to iOS 8.3, Touch ID is not working in App Store.
Has any one else noticed the same....? Any workaroun/fixes?
P.S. Touch ID is enables for iTunes & App Store in settings.

If the touch screen is not having any response then you probably have a hardware failure. Take your phone to an Apple Store or authorised service provider to have it checked.

Hello. I have an Iphone 5S and have a doubt about the touch id. I want to use it only for getting apps from the apps or itunes store. To unlock the phone i don´t want neither touch id or passcode. Is this possible?
I´ve tried all the options available.
- if only select touch id for app store, it keeps asking me the passcode to unlock the phone
- If i turn the passcode off, it doesn´t allow me of course to use touch id anywhere...

If you're using Touch ID, it takes no longer to unlock your phone than it does to pick it up. That's the whole point. It certainl doesn't take 5 seconds. Of course, it also doesn't take 5 seconds for me to enter a 4 digit passcode.

What software version do you have on the ipod?
Apps requires at least 2.0
