my touchpad mouse has randomly dissapeared and is not working at all, its so annoying i need help thank you

I understand that you are have problems with your touchpad on your notebook, and I am happy to help. Please post the full product number and operating system in use on your notebook. See the following documents if you need help in finding those.
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
With that I can find the drivers and support pages for your model.
Since from what you say, it just happened recently, a quick potential fix, is to try a system restore to a point before the problem happened, if a restore point is available. It is quite possible that some update, software install, or something similar could have caused the issue and this is a way to roll back to before it happened.
Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8)
If that does work, then see if the problem recurs later, and try to make note of what software may have caused it.

Have you done the basic troubleshootings steps ? :
Restart:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data
Restore from backup
Restore as new.

Touch Pad is enabled but not working
I have just this minuet reinstalled Win XP and the touch pad is not working and I cant work out what is coursing this problem....
The Toshiba console is saying that it is enabled but it is not working? Help!

It looks like you are facing difficulties with the Touchpad of your Notebook
We will surely assist you with this
Steps to drain the Static charge and loading default BIOS settings to resolve the issue
Step 01. Turn OFF the Notebook
Step 02. Un-plug the Power/AC Adapter and also remove the Battery too
Step 03. Press and Hold the Power Button of the Notebook for a full minute
Step 04. Now let's re-insert the battery back in and plug back the Power/AC Adapter
Step 05. Start the Notebook and keep tapping F10 Key during the startup to access the BIOS
Step 06. Once you get to the BIOS, Please press F5 Key to load setup defaults for the BIOS
Step 07. Now let's press Esc/Escape Key. Save Changes and Exit - Yes
Step 08. Now please wait till the Unit loads the Windows Operating system
Now please re-install the touchpad drivers from HP Website in order to resolve the issue

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP -
Firefox did an automatic update to 6.01, and now my middle mouse button is not working in the browser. It doesn't close tabs, it doesn't open new tabs by middle clicking a link, it doesn't allow me to middle click to scroll the page..
[BUG FIXED, see "EDIT 2" at the end of my post]
I'm on Firefox 3.6.21, and I got this problem today after a Greasemonkey update (To version 0.9.10, apparently).
Disabling Greasemonkey solved the problem, and re-enabling it reproduced the problem (middle-clicking links to open in new tab did not work, merely highlighted the link).
I should also note that while Greasemonkey was enabled and the bug was affecting me, Ctrl+Click to open links in new tabs was also broken.

EDIT: It appears this is a known incompatibility/conflict bug between current versions of Greasemonkey and Tab Mix Plus. Read more here:

EDIT 2: GREASEMONKEY HAS NOW BEEN UPDATED with a workaround to fix the problem. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/versions/ to install the update manually. After updating OS X 10.8.5, bluetooth is not available in the menu bar.
The Magic Mouse is recognized and working but the bluetooth mouse functions do not work.
I have downloaded and installed 10.8.5 combo but it does not help.
Menu bar - System Preferences/ there is no bluetooth item
I restarted with cmd + alt + P + R it doesn't help.Did you try the suggestions from your other post on this?

yesterday my iPod touch's home button would not work and to day it is completely turned off and wont turn back on and it is fully charged and when i connect it to itoons it dosent reckinise it
Given the information supplied, it sounds very similar to what happened to my wife's 4. Locked up...came back on with a blank (bluish) screen...could here emails and text coming through. It would get very hot as well. Our local apple store tried two times to rescue it, ultimately rendering it complete inoperable. I'm sorry to say in our case we had to buy a refurb and trade in the phone for $150, which actually wasn't a bad deal.
There could be other information I'm missing, but I would start with seeing if apple can restore your phone. If they can't, then I'm pretty sure it's dead. -

I remember when first purchased the pc that the Touch Pad on & off light would work when I double tap, and I would connect the usb mouse.Now, when I double tap nothing happens. No light at all. The touch pad it self works fine even when the external mouse is connected.I'm just curious why it stopped coming on..........!

Update: I seem to have fixed the problem! I went to the "summary" section of my iPod after clicking on the device on the left side of iTunes. I checked the box that allowed me to "manually manage music and videos" and applied this option. The songs are syncing! And, yay, they're playing on my iPod now! Hopefully, this helps anyone else who might have this problem. There might be other issues, but this is working for now.

Hiya, my ipod touch 4th generation cameras are not working. I had the screen replaced about a month ago and it was working fine. I woke up the other day and went on my camera and it had stopped working, it won't let me change from the front to back camera so i don't know what the problem is: now all it shows when i go on the camera app is the shutter or a black screen. I have tried the advice people have said but it hasn't seemed to work. Any help would be appreciated!

I am facing problem in playing yahoo pool in Firefox 4 while it was working fine in Firefox 3.6. In Firefox 4 the combination of mouse keys are not working properly.
I updated to Firefox 4.01 today and the middle scroll button on my Lenovo T400 stopped working. I downloaded the updated Ultranav utility and the Ultranav driver for my T400 from here http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-72858.html and then uninstalled the "Thinkpad Ultranav Driver" from Add/Remove programs rebooted and then installed the updated utility and driver (another reboot) and it now works perfectly.
So glad to get this working again. -

I have a windows 7 and whenever I play anything on Windows Media Player Classic, the middle mouse button does not work as a vertical scroll in firefox, but instead shows a horizontal scroll that does not scroll the web pages. How can I fix this problem?

I am using a 24 inch imac and the problem is suddenly my mouse can not click to anything left, right or the middle mouse button does not work i can see cursor moving and i can use the features of the keyboard but my mouse dies. I tried to plug in another mouse magic trackpad and my tablet but each has the same problem. I can not click to anything but cursor is moving and computer is not frozen. I have to shut it off from the power button when this happens. Do you have any idea what can cause this and how can i fix this?
