Touch point of TouchEvent has a little error in MS Surface Pro

hi,
i am working 'flash develop' on the surface pro which is released by Microsoft. it has touch screen.
and.... there is a issue.
the issue is  about touch Event.
touch point is inaccurate.
the MS Surface's resolution is 1920x1080. but check to flash.system.Capabilities.screenResolution Method, resolution is 1376x774.
so i think that touch position is error.
in order to resolve this issue what can i do.

The list of errors does not include the error mentioned,
ITGMSPPlugin2003. I am getting the same error when attempting to
open an MS Project plan on our document repository, IntraspectKM. I
am unable to open the MS Project document, but am able to save it
and then access it. I use MS Project 2003 with the latest SP. Where
can I get this plugin?

  • 8620 prints, but then gives error message on Surface Pro 3

This error message has been bothering me for some time. From day one when I print from my Surface Pro 3, I get an error message that my document (doesn't matter what it is) did not print. About 95% of the time, it actually DID print but I get the error message. So whenever I print, I don't actually know if the error message is bogus or not.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of the drivers and apps on my surface, but to no avail. Can anyone help me keep my sanity? Here is an example of the error message from just a little bit ago. Notice the error message in the upper right hand corner. And this "test print" did actually print.

    Troubleshoot Techniques Taken So Far:
I tried to Google similar issues, and couldn't find any resolutions online.
I've ran Command Prompt as Administrator and ran the sfc /scannow command. The results: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation.
I've also edited my registry by going to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software|Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profiles\ and deleting all profiles.
I've also ran Windows Updates via Control Panel and downloaded and installed all (including optional) updates.

The user who owns this device is currently using their older laptop that they were previously using before getting this Surface Pro 3 as a replacement. The laptop has no issues connecting to the pst data files stored on a shared network drive. It appears
that this issue is specific to this device possibly.
Can someone out there please help me out?

    Hi,
Basically Network Stored PST files are not recommended by Microsoft.
.pst files are not intended as an enterprise network solution. Although it is possible to specify a network directory or a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path as a storage location for a .pst file, network usage is not meant to be a long-term, continuous-use
method of storing messages in an enterprise environment.

  • AirPort Time Capsule (firmware v7.7.3) has slow wifi connection to new Surface Pro 3

I got a new Surface Pro 3 i7. I have all the updates for it. I ran into a problem that many others also ran into which was very slow WiFi performance. I utilized many troubleshooting methods and sources and I am currently inclined to believe this... the new Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller drivers are not compatible with my Airport Time Capsule firmware version 7.7.3.
    Has anyone else experienced this?
Is there another firmware version that works (older or newer)?
    Details:
I tried all kinds of things, like changing the network drivers on the SP3 to many different versions. Many of the help forums recommended using the drivers dated 4/24/2014. This did seem to help, but not reliably. What I discovered is... if I connect using the SP3 WiFi to my network extension Airport Express on version 7.6.4, I reliably get 20-22 mbps (which is the best I can expect from my network and works great for my needs). But, when I connect to my primary network Airport Time Capsule, the best I can get is 1.5 mbps, but usually between .15 and .9 mbps. It's completely unusable in today's internet environment. At the same time, I used my iPhone and the Airport Utility to verify the connections.  I used SpeedTest.net on my MacBook, iPad, iPhone and Win8.1 HP laptop to verify that every other device was getting the 20+mbps. And they did.  Only the Surface Pro 3 couldn't perform when using WiFi through the Airport Time Capsule. The SP3 does achieve 20+ mbps like all my other devices, but only when connected to the Airport Express.
The articles I read said that the network drivers on the SP3 seem to require the routers to be updated to the latest versions. Both the Airport Time Capsule and the Airport Express seem to be updated. When I go into their settings using the Airport Utility, there are no updates available.
Of course this problem isn't replicated at the Microsoft store since they don't have apple routers.  So, their response is to upgrade the routers.  Extremely unhelpful when the Apple software is saying it is upgraded already. I can't believe this new Airport Time Capsule has to be retired because it isn't playing well with others, and I love the automatic backup it is providing for my MacBook. So, somehow, I need the Airport Time Capsule to work with the new WiFi card & drivers on my SP3, just like the SP3 is working properly with the Airport Express.

    Thanks for your input!
    1. No downgrade. Bummer, but understandable.
    2. Completely agree!!! I did too and then I had to redo it because I couldn't install a driver. I had to start all over and reinstall Win 8 then Win 8.1 over it. It was a colossal waste of time and endless frustration. If I can just get it modestly working, I'll take it. It doesn't have to be perfect right now.
    3.  Great suggestion! And the Microsoft forums are also a buzz. One suggestion I tried (and it seems to be working) is to set a separate wireless network name for the 5ghz band. I haven't thoroughly tested it yet, but I'm hopeful.  I t seems to have worked for some, but not others. The next thing I'll try is fixing the channel, but strangely, I didn't see that option in the AirPort Utility app on my iPhone. Is it only available through Mac/PC laptop/desktop software?
    4. Yup. Sigh. I actually have an old linksys. I retired it when I went 100% apple. I was hoping that things would work smoother. And they did! Until this SP3 came into my life. Arg.
And and a few more details...
the AirPort Time Capsule is 802.11ac
the AirPort Express is 802.11n (2nd gen)
I'm wondering if it is the AC connection that is the issue. Maybe since the Express always connects with n, it is OK....
Nope. Just tested the SP3 again and it is maintaining it's connection to the AirPort Time Capsule utiling the 802.11a/n/ac mode and connecting to the 5Ghz special network name. So far so good... Fingers crossed...

  • The latest osx update has caused keychain errors on my macbook pro...what should I do?

I downloaded and installed the latest osx update last night (10.9.2) and now I'm getting login errors when trying to download emails and keychain errors when using Google Chrome or Safari. I have no idea how to solve the problems caused by this update. My macbook pro is older - 2008. Help, please? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

I should have clarified above....."keychain errors", not just login errors. Thanks again.

  • M500 Issues with locking up (A TCG Command has returned an error)

Here's the issue, I have researched this A TCG Command has returned an error problem and it seems it's all related to bitlocker problems and or sleep issues, I have all power saving features off, I do "not" have bit locker enabled or running. The problem lies when doing anything that requires hard drive usage other than simple browsing, it can range from 10x in 5 mins on a game and require force reboots and thats the exact error message in the event viewer at the time of crash everytime, I have crashed hundreds of times, and it's getting to the point to where my SSD isn't even fun to own currently, if any of you guru's on here could help that'd be great. Oh and secure boot is turned off (also read about that) It does it with it on or off, doesn't matter. And I had this problem with the default firmware (m03) and the new firmware (m05) I am also on Windows 8.1 64bit. Here are the logs from the event viewer. A TCG Command has returned an error.Desc: AuthenticateSession

Everytime I google "A TCG command has returned an error" the first thing that even comes up in google searches is a slew of M500's with bitlocker problems or sleep / power saving option problems, but I do not have any of those enabled. Thanks in advance.

For sure the different speeds is the difference between the ASMedia and the Intel ports - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/storage-controller-performance-ssd,3540.html
In general Intel ports are suggested as preferred. Perhaps they are more reliable (I don't have any data for that) and they have more frequent driver support/updates.
It is hard to tell if it is possible that ASM controller is a contributor to the TCG error messages and/or to system freezes/crashes.
I think it is worth to note that as far as I know hardware based drive encryption (eDrive type) doesn't work with Intel RST drivers and it works only with inbox MSAHCI driver. That makes me think that the storage driver can affect the way the BitLocker works.
What is your Windows 8.1 version, is it Pro or Enterprise? W8.1 Pro or Enterprise clean installation can switch the drive to TCG Opal mode and it is done silently. W8.1 do it happily without user's permission (and in many cases without user's knowledge). So my guess is that after silent switching the drive to TCG Opal mode the OS is using some parts of BitLocker... code/engine/mechanisms perhaps.
You have notice the crashing only really happens when games are being played. I was wondering that maybe the crashes are not related to TCG errors at all and they are related to some other broken driver rather than TCG thing?
It is possible this is something a reinstall might fix and I would probably try that. But first I would try to switch drive to Intel driven connector and then check and verify all major drivers installed in the system, including motherboard's BIOS - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VI_HERO/HelpDesk_Download/
If that wouldn't help I would probably do as suggested by r0m30.
    4. PSID revert the drive (and possibly secure erase it), set a BIOS password on the drive if your motherboard supports it and reinstall window.
I think romeo was refering to HDD password. It is little weird but motherboard's manual doesn't mention anything about HDD/Drive/Disk/ATA password.
In case the mobo supports Drive/ATA password I would do following:
    - PSID revert the drive
    - set HDD password
    - clean OS install
In case it doesn't support ATA password (that would be odd but possible I guess):
    - secure erase the drive
    - clean OS install
Drives connected to Intel's ports of course

  • Adobe Media Encoder (CS5) has encountered an error (WinFile.cpp-759)

I have a 714 MB Xvid file that I want to split into smaller pieces. I have gone successfully through a similar process earlier with a larger Xvid file using the same version of Adobe Media Encoder (CS5). It appears that no matter which output video format I choose, the process crashes with the following error message shown in a new pop-up dialog:
"Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an error. [..\..\Src\Win\WinFile.cpp-759].
(Even the source program file line number 759 in the above error message is always the same, regardless of my chosen output file format.)
The only option available from this point onwards is the "Continue" button. When I click Continue the program terminates with the Windows program crash message "Adobe Media Encoder CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. <Debug> / <Close program>"
My search for other similar problem reports revealed that some user(s) has/have experienced a very similar problem in CS4, but the source line number was slightly different in CS4. Both problems are probably caused by the same error in Adobe's software. The small difference in source line numbers is probably due to some (minor) and probably unrelated changes to this C++ source module (WinFile.cpp).
It might of course be the case that this particular input video file has some rare encoding or other embedded problem. However, the fact that I can view the video without problems using Windows Media Player does not support this theory.
Apart from this message board I could not find any other avenue to report this bug to Adobe (without paying for support - which I am obviously not going to do as this is clearly a programming bug in the software). Hopefully some Adobe developer responsible for Media Encoder maintenance will read this forum from time to time and would subsequently inspect the source module for any obvious defects. I could supply the source video file with which this problem can be reproduced at will.

  • Windows keeps giving me "itunes has stopped working" error message when I start itunes?  How can i fix this?

After downloading the newest version, 10.6.1, whenever I open itunes I almost immediately get a "itunes has stopped working" error messsage, in which the only option is to hit the "close the program" button.  Simply closing the error message closes the program as well.  I am operated under windows XP with the latest updates (or so the updater tells me).  It seems like its getting stuck trying to send me a new user agreement because dont you have to agree to one for every new update?  It just can't seem to get past that point.  I tried opening it up in safe mode but that didnt work either.  Any help would be greatly appeciated.

Looks like itunes was still trying to communicate with my iphone and got confused when it couldnt find it.    Found this in another post and it worked great.
    Solution:
Make sure you are not connected to the internet and then open itunes. Sync your phone and then enable the internet again. Then stay connected to the internet and close your itunes and reopen it. Bam problem solved.

  • How to use 10 touch points at the same time ?

I want to project game which use about 10 touch points? How can I use all of them at the same time ?
Please give me a sample code.

Firstly you must know how many touch points can accept your device. For example iPad and iPhone can't handle more than 5.
    1. Enable touch input mode by
    Multitouch.inputMode=MultitouchInputMode.TOUCH_POINT;
    2. Use same method as for mouse input but instead use TouchEvent API

OK, I've reported the bug in the linked location. However, I had to use "Creative Suite" as the application, because "Adobe Media Encoder" was not an available option.

  • Premiere Pro has encountered an error.  CS6

    Dear Adobe Community
I would be grateful for some help as Premiere Pro has begun crashing on me.
I am using CS6 - on two different Mac computers that both encounter the same problem.  I am making a film 1920 x 1080 made up of almost 60 smaller films of 180 x 180 pixels with a color matte underneath them.  Everything had been going fine and I was able to export three different versions of the film.  Now unfortunately it no longer works!
Using the same process, that I used before that worked successfully, I select all the elements of the timeline and try and nest them.  At this point I get the following error message:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.

On pressing Continue - it "quit unexpectedly".
I've tried using a different Mac and have the same problem.
I tried slim lining the project to just the assets that I'm using, saving and rendering and saving and it still keeps on crashing like this.
I would be grateful for any help or advice.
