Touch screen and swipe problems on brand new iPhone 5S

I brought it to the Apple store and they restored it. It started happening again. So the Apple store gave me a new phone, but used the same microchip. Today, I couldn't tap out of voice messages. I tapped "recents" - nothing. I tapped "contacts"- nothing. I could go into other apps and use them- just not in the phone part. Sometimes, it happens when I text- I can't text. I tap and tap. Nothing. And sometimes I can't swipe to answer an incoming phone call. It's very frustrating. Does anyone have any advice?

Same problem in the middle left side of my 5s. I can see the screen moving up and down if I look from the side, and it clicks when it pops back into place.
I took it to the apple store in tysons corner, va today. The girl genius saw the issue and took my phone in the back to try setting the screen again. When she brought it back the phone was still doing the exact same thing but she suddenly claimed she couldn't see/hear it anymore even though it is very noticable. Another genius pretended not to notice it too. I ended up just leaving and will try a different store.

Win7 black-screen-hanging-cursor problem on brand new rMBP

I am sorry but a face a problem similar to (surprisingly) many in this thread.
I have a brand new rMBP 15'' with bootcamp Win7 installed (90GB partition). Installation went painless ONLY with a fresh Yosemite 10.10.3 installation, otherwise I fell into said black screen-hanging cursor trap already during installation. After installation I could enter Windows and install some software there. Upon re-boot, black-screen-hanging cursor in top left problem.

If you built a USB using BCA and Windows ISO/DVD, it will show Windows and EFI boot both as options, when Alt Key is held.

Iphone 4 touch screen and other problems

I have an iPhone 4 It recentley started acting up on me the touch screen stoped working and it stops charging other than that it all works.
Charging- When I plug the charge on it has the "thunder" logo on it but doesnt charge. #probably logic board problem help me out?
Touch screen- I know 100% its not the digitizers fault as I have changed it to another one and it still the same thing #probably logic board problem
I tryed hard booting and itunes doesnt reconise
I t was water damaged but fixed, when the water damage was fixed the touch screen still didn't work.

Problems with brand new IPhone's charging?!

Hi, I recently got the iphone5s, it is now only 2 months old! However I have recently been having some problems charging it, when I use the cable it seems really temperamental and will only charge depending on what angle the lead is at. I assumed it was the charger and so tired another and have also been using it with a portable charger. Both seemed fine at first but then these problems occurred again. When trying to connect it to my computer it becomes recognized and un-recognized very easily and I have to plug/un-plug the cable a few times (after turning it round) until I can get it to work. Sometimes it will work fine but then other times I think it has gone completely. Can you advice me on what may be causing these problems and whether I need to get a brand new lead or it is a fault with the charging port on my phone? Very frustrating please help!
P.S Didn't want to take it into the apple store as it very temperamental and could work for them and make me look very silly!

Would you rather risk looking silly or having an expensive iPhone that doesn't work? Let them examine it.

Problems with brand new iPhone

Good morning - I was hoping someone could assist me with the following problems I'm having with my new iPhone (purchased last night). The software is version 2.1 (most up-to-date).
I'm having the following problems:
1. Unable to rearrange apps - if I hold down the home key, nothing happens. I've held it for 30 seconds and still nothing. I've powered down/powered up the iphone and tried again to no avail. Any suggestions?
2. I am unable to "reset" my iphone by holding down the sleep/wake button. The phone will go to the red slider bar to power down, but if I keep holding the sleep/wake I never get the "apple" and a reset of the phone.
3. If I go to my contacts list and click on a name, there is no "call" button?
4. How do I turn off the keystroke sound in text messaging (and keep the ringer at full)?
Any assistance would be great. Thanks all.

1. Don't hold the Home button. Hold down on the app itself. All the apps should start wiggling after a few seconds. Once they start wiggling, you can rearrange and delete the apps (except you can't delete the ones that come with the phone). Once you are done rearranging, hit the Home button to stop them from wiggling.
3. When you click on a name, you should see that person's phone number(s). Click on a phone number and the phone will dial that number.
4. Settings --> Sounds --> At the very bottom of the list is keyboard clicks. Turn it off.

Charging Problems with Brand New iPhone 4S

My iPhone 4S was finally shipped today and I opened it up and turned it on with no problems. However, when I went to go charge it as it was about 50% battery life using a wall outlet and the given power source with the 4S, the iPhone would not charge. Battery icon in top right hand screen would not show lightning bolt to even show there was a connection. I tried using my USB cable from my iPod Touch and the same scenario occured. My next solution was to use a different outlet, and about 7 outlets later and running around the house the same conclusion occured.
I know theres not a problem with either of the USB cables because when I connect them from my iPhone to my laptop, the phone charges. The phone only charges in outlets when I apply a strong force of the USB cord into the given power source connected to the wall outlet.
Should I just simply bring this wall power source charger back to my Verizon Wireless store or an Apple store for an exchange of chargers or for them to see if If gone mad?

It does sound like you have a bad power adapter. I would take it back to a Verizon store if you ordered it through Verizon or if you ordered it from Apple, take it to your local Apple store.

Brand new iPhone 4 can not make calls network says extended

Me and my husband bought brand new iPhone 4 on Saturday at Walmart through straight talk. Since Monday his phone is unable to make phone calls his network did say TFW but since then it just says extended. He can recieve calls and texts and can text off his phone with a time delay. Any idea how to fix it

Thanks for the straightforwardness roaminggnome - I wasn't sure if this problem qualified as deseving a reset. Unfortunately, for some reason I can't explain, your response remained undisclosed to me for a while, the next reply after yours took preference and I ended up doing as Meg St.Clair's susgested and initiated download, installation and syncing of Smartsync which is now taking ages to finish... If problem persists shall do the resetting and restoring.

Some times ago Adobe has updated Illustrator to CC 2014 version and now it support touch pressure\pan\zoom in Windows 8 tablets. I have Sony Vaio Fit 15A with N-Trig touch screen and digitizer pen with pressure-sensitive support.
I was extremely disappointed that the brush in new version does not work correctly. Watch the video please that I did specifically for the demonstration.

Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet.. I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. If anyone has any solution I will be very happy if he or share can share the same. Many thanks. its so disgusting to experience this on top of this apple does not support global warranty for the phone as you need to go to the country from where you bought the phone for replacement.. The ! sign before the song means that the actual song is no longer on your computer and/or iTunes library.

After i got it 10 mints my brand new iphone 6's screen begin to flickering then turn black

weeks ago i ordered a iPhone 6 on apple.nz website, i got it delivered yesterday afternoon, 10 min after first turning on the screen of my brand new iPhone 6 began flickering a little, i thought it will be fine, but then the situation getting worse. At very beginning, i can fix it with holding the home key, but later this solution did not work, the screen flickering badly then the whole screen faded into black. i have to restarted it couple times to make my phone work again.
so this morning i chat with the online service ten call the service number of New Zealand, they asked me to restore my iPhone by iTunes, so i did. but after that the flickering get more frequently , and the speed of turn black is getting faster.
it makes me stop all my work trying to make this iPhone 6 back to work, i spent about 4 hours in total calling the service center. i feel REALLY ANGRY NOW!

Since the device is brand new, it is still covered under the warranty, and it is still under the 14 day return policy. Take advantage of that and get a new one. You think that an occasional defective device is that bad? You are not going to get 100% perfect devices. Most companies are happy with 10% rejects getting out into the retail market. Given the record number of these things sold, you realize what 10% is?

Well, if it goes to VM immediately the call isn't reaching your phone, so no wonder it isn't ringing. Do you see a network displayed in the upper left of the screen? Have you activated the phone by connecting to a computer with the latest version of iTunes? Have you called your carrier to make sure they have provisioned it correctly?

I just bought a new Macbook Pro 15" with SSD 256 Gb and its almost a brand-new (the 4th time to use the device) a while ago i was trying to connect to my home wireless network it said that the connection is timed out so i clicked the airport sign on the top it said that your airport is not configured then I restarted the system but it didn't restarted it showed the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel for more than 10min so I tried the force shutdown by pressing the power button till it switched off I waited for 5min then pressed the power button to start or boot the system and again the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel, I waited for more than 20min nothing changed, any solution please?

Thanks a lot i followed the instructions for safe mode (i found out that i was pressing the C button after restarting) i did whats written there but the repair couldn't be performed so in addition i needed to re-formate the HD so i erased the volume and then repaired the disk--> quite disk utilities --> start the installation from the installation DVD.
