I found this touch screen and I want to know if it is compatible with my mac.

It doesn't list Mac support at all and it has DOS onboard not Windows.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Touch Screen Icons for dzen2

Hey guys,
touch screens are more and more prominent in the modern computing world so I'm looking for ideas and scripts to make them useful with dzen2.
As you might know dzen2 (SVN) does support stackable, clickable areas using the ^ca() command. That way it's extremly easy to create simple
touch bars that will launch any command you could think of, e.g.:

The above code will create a simple dzen bar with two items, Uzbl and Files, when clicking with the left mouse button into the former it will spawn uzbl.
While the latter will either launch mc when cliked with the left button or pcmanfm when clicked with the middle button.
So what I'm looking for is icons suitable for touch screen use and ideas on how to integrate dzen2 into touch scenarios.

I am sure there are plenty of companies that make such devices, the only concern being that it is both Mac-compatible and of a desirable color.

DRIVE TO TOUCH SCREEN - WINDOWS 8

I've installed the windows 8 on my HP TouchSmart 520-1050 and the touch screen stoped your function. I didn't find its drive. What to do?! The HP will create a specific drive to this computer? Waiting for answer.

THIS is HP's position on Windows 8 support and any HP computer not supplied with Windows 8;
Not all Windows 8 features may be available on all PCs.
Your particular experience with Windows 8 will be determined by the capabilities of your PC.
HP is providing upgrade instructions and drivers will be available for most Windows 7 systems sold after 1st October 2011.
If you want to restore the original operating system after upgrading, you must create HP recovery media before you upgrade.
Please note that if you purchased your system prior to October 1, 2011, HP has not tested these PCs or developed Windows 8 upgrade instructions or drivers for them. Upgrading such systems may be difficult or impossible.

As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

Touch Screen NOT responding. what to do?

okay so here is my dilemma.. My iPhone's touch screen has stopped responding. I tried restarting it by holding down the power button, I tried resetting it holding down the power/home button. I let the battery die completely before charging it again. I lost the USB cable that came with the phone so I have been charging it through firewire, but because of the firewire connection, it will not show up in iTunes so I can't reset it... And obviously I can't reset it in the phone itself because the touch screen isn't working...
Any ideas??????

Holding the Home button and the Sleep/Wake or On/Off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release is called a Reset.
Without a USB cable for your iPhone, you cannot not sync, install any iPhone updates when made available, or restore your iPhone with iTunes, which may resolve this problem.
You need to get a USB cable that is compatible with your iPhone. Do you also have an iPod with dock connector? If so, the USB cable for your iPod can be used. If not, do you know anyone else who has an iPod or iPhone you can borrow their USB cable from until you can purchase another USB cable for your iPhone?
If a Restore does not work, time to give AppleCare a call (800) 694-7466, or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby - where you can purchase another USB cable for your iPhone.

AE2020 Windows 8 touch screen troubles

I did a fresh intall of Windows 8.
The touchscreen does not work.
I installed the IdeaCom Touch Screen 3.3.4200.04 Driver. the hardware does not show up in it's utility.
Also it did not install the Coprocessor driver correctly. Showing an error in device manager.

How did you get your windows 8?
I have installed my version from the action pack and the touchscreen works. Are you using an OEM copy? If so the below applies
"order to promote the best “touch” experience on PCs, OEM System Builder software for Windows 8 will only support touch functionality on hardware that has been certified for touch in Windows 8. When buying Windows 8 System Builder software, look for hardware that carries the “Windows 8 Compatible” logo and that has passed certification for touch capability. Touch hardware that is not certified for Windows 8 and does not include a special code provided to OEMs during the certification process and injected into the touchscreen’s firmware will not work once the System Builder product is installed; meaning that the PC will not be touch-enabled after Windows 8 is installed.

The touch screen works correctly but not when I'm surfing on the internet. I can't scroll or do anything else with the screen then. There 's no problem with the internet connection because I can see I've some new e-mails but I 'can't open them because of the screen. can you help me?

Try resetting yur iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
However, for many webpages when you want to scroll in a window you need to use two fingers, not one finger. Also, it appears that you are using webmail, sometimes because of the way the website was designed, it is not fully compatible with iDevices. Sometimes using a different browser (not Safari) helps but sometimes you just can't fully use webmail. Wht provider are you using?

Touch screen overlay for iMac G5

All,
Does anyone know ofa source where I can get a touchscren overlaythat is compatible with OSX? I was thinking of installing a touch screen overlay on my iMac G5. That could be quite fancy.
I suspect people have already done so. I am having troubl finding a source for touch screen overlays plus the required software.
Anyone who can help?

Glass touch screen Digitizers on 13.3 displays

So the glass touchscreen on the Pavillion X2 is smashed but the display is ok. I cannot find the glass Digitizer for the PavillionX2 13.3 but can find one for the Envoy 13.3 . both screens are the same size - look the same and searches for a digitizer for the Pavillion leads to the Envoy 13.3 digitizer so the question is are they compatible ,the same 13.3 digitizers connections and can I purchase the Envopy 13.3 digitizer touch screen glass and have it work in a Pavillion X2 ? Or does the " display" part listed for the X2 include the glass digitizer for touch screen ?

Going paperless 100% and signing with a touch screen

I want to take the business I run completely paperless and my business is 95% mobile. I have lease forms for device rentals, (court ordered) which I want a client to be able to fill out and sign on a tablet or laptop when they meet a representitive of the company. I want the lease form to be able to be saved as, once it's been filled out
I want to create forms that my representitive can fill out, and sign on a tablet and be able to email the filled pdf form or file. For examaple: A payment receipt, i want it to be a fillable pdf that can be fully filled out and signed and then emailed to my client.
I have the forms completed but I'm not able to get the forms to be able to be signed like you would when you sign on a touch screen.

Havent seen the gloves in stores yet, I saw Apple has a patent for a type of touch screen glove, but ive also this Canadian company http://www.glidergloves.com that have thick insulated style that are also tottaly touchscreen compatible like those mujos..

U920T Touch Screen Problem after updates windows 8.1

After some updates (automatic) the touch screen of my Satellite U920T is off : when I take a look to the computer properties, it said that the computer is not compatible with "touch screen" (something like that) and in the configuration panel i have no options about "touch and stylet". I've uninstall HID elements from the manager : the problem is the same. I have seen that the screen element is a "standard" screen VGA : i think that's not good ! i've made all updates from toshiba (officials) : nothing change ! HOW TO recover the touch screen ! for the time being my satellite U920T is like a satellite laptop and I have bought it (much expensive...) for the touch screen with windows 8 (now windos 8.1) : DOES SOMEONE HAVE A SOLUTION ???

HT5076 The record button on my garageband does not respond/work. I can play, rewind, etc. The touch screen is fine. Please help.

I recently backuped up all my apps and music/etc to the icloud. I had my ipad 4 touch screen repaired. I got thee ipad back in perfect working condition. however, when I launched garageband....I tried to record but the RECORD BUTTON does not respond. This is not a touch screen issue...I can press play, rewind, I can select instruments, I can play the virtual instruments etc. I tried rebooting my ipad and I also deleted and re-downloaded garageband. The issue is the same.
Please advise.

Did it work before?
Does iHome say it is compatible with a 4G iPod with iOS 6.1.3? Sometimes an iOS update will break compatibility.
Make sure the iPod is fully seated in the dock. The case of the 4G is different than previous iPods and thus if the dockl\ was not designed with the 4G in mind it may not fully seat.
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod and dock for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Reset the dock
- Sometimes this works:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
Or it may just be not compatible

I amthinking of purchasing theSamsung - P2 8GB* MP3 and Video Player with Touch-Screen Display. I have gone to Best Buy to ask them where I can download TV and movies for the player and they have no help at all! They told me they had no idea. Can someone PLEASE help me?
