Have you tried connect the computer and restore the iPod via iTunes?  First from backup and if problem persists restore to factory defaults.  Also see:

  • Purchased playlist on touch screen IPod dissapeared

All but 8 songs in my purchased playlist,on my touch screen Ipod, randomly disappeared.I had not transfered any of my music to my computer yet. All of the songs that disappeared were purchased on the itouch ipod via WIFI itunes.
In "my account-purchase history' in ITunes I reported an error for every song that I purchased on my itouch ipod. It has only been 24 hours but I haven't received a reply from customer service yet.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem or know if this is a 'known' issue with songs purchased via WIFI itunes? Any suggestions on working with customer service.

Apple will get back to you soon and allow you to download the music again, just wait a bit longer.

    no speculating about a realease
    Great!
but i heard through the grape vine
Isn't this speculating about a release?
Well, Apple has not made any announcements and since we can't speculate here (and you don't want us to anyway), then we don’t know.

I have a brand new ipod touch 32gb ipod touch. Upgraded to ios 7. open music app but there is no radio tab to select!!! All online help just says, "just select it".
I have looked at the "More" part but again radio is not an option.
    Can you help?

Just wait a bit.  Turn it off, then back on.
I don't know why, but after the update it doesn't show up right away.
When it finally does, you will find a red icon on the bottom of the screen, on the left side.

  • Black screen, ipod touch has black screen wouldn't charge

My Ipod Touch screen has gone black. No activity. I have already tried to hold home /power for more than 10 second nothing come back. I even tried holding down arrow + home + pwer together.
When I connect to my computer, sometime it says unable to install driver too. Any suggestion

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • TS4006 white screen ipod touch generation 4

I have a plain white screen on my ipod touch generation 4. I have restored it..updated it etc. I'm able to hear music playing but can't see a thing. I have tried resetting it and I get nothing. Do I need a new screen?

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store..

Replacing the screen would likely fix the problem but it could also be due to another hardware problem.

  • White screen (ipod touch)

Please bare with me, I'm not good with the computer lingo...
I have an ipod touch. My computer is running on windows 7.
I was using my ipod this evening and the pop up came up saying that I had 20% battery life left. So I plugged it in. As soon as I plugged it in, the screen went white. Now it's just a dull white, until you touch it and then it goes bright again. But it's still just white. The volume button doesn't do anything, the power button doesn't work either. It wont do anything.
I tried to get suggestions throught the tec. support, but it wont load on the website for some reason.
    Please help!!

Thank you. I set up a call last night, for them to call me this morning. I was just hoping to have this resolved sooner haha.
Here is what the lady told me to do, and it worked, incase someone else has this issue.
    1. Plug your USB cord into the computer but NOT your ipod.
    2. Hold the sleep/wake button (on the top)as well as the home button
    3. When the screen flashes or goes solid black, let go of the sleep/wake button, but continue to hold the home button.
    4. Now plug the USB cord into the ipod as well, still holding that sleep wake button.
    5. A pop up should show on your computer, stating that apple has detected you want to restore to factory.
    6. When that appears, click ok, and then let go of your home button on the ipod.
    7. When it is finished, another screen will come up saying that an ipod has previously been used on the computer. Do you want to sync with that, or sync a new one. Sync new, even if it is the same ipod.
    8. Once that is done, you can sync all your old information back on.
    THANKS FOR THE HELP!!

  • White screen ipod touch 4th

    hi
I have Ipod Touch with a White Screen. I try
to hold the home button and the power button down at the same time and restore from itunes But the screen stays white
I replaced a few screens but it does not work
    sorry for my bad english
    please help
    thank you

Let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If it is doing this after yu replaced the screen it could be do to a error you made or soething is wrong besides the screen

  • How to fix a broken screen iPod Touch?

The screen of my iPod Touch broke when he fell down and was wondering if Apple fixes it!

    I have some questions:
But the cost is to repair any problem (inclusive with the screen)?
And it is possible to repair even if I am from another country?
How do I send repair? Where?

  • Will apple replace a cracked screen ipod touch for free?

Well my ipod is very cracked and part of the ipod shows INSIDE the ipod and the screen is flashing white so i see NOTHING of the screen would apple replace my ipod?(ipod touch 4th gen 8gb)

Every single device brought into an apple retail store is dealt with on a case-by-case basis. You might get lucky and find a retail employee who doesn't follow protocol. You never know what will happen

    6. My iPod is not eligible for warranty service. What are my service options?
Apple offers two options for iPods that are not eligible for warranty service (see below). You will need to provide credit card details for these services. If you do not have a credit card, please take your iPod to your local Apple Retail Store.
iPod Out-of-Warranty Battery Replacement Program: If your iPod requires service only because the battery's ability to hold an electrical charge has diminished, you can have the battery replaced for a service fee by using the Online Service Assistant or at your local Apple Retail Store. Alternatively, you can contact Apple Technical Support.
For more details, please refer to the iPod Out-of-Warranty Battery Replacement Program Frequently Asked Questions.
Out-of-Warranty Service: If your iPod requires service for any other hardware failure that is determined by Apple to be repairable, Apple will service your iPod for the Out-of-Warranty Repair Service fee.
If you want to set up your iPod for the Out-of-warranty service, we recommend that you take your iPod to a local Apple Retail Store. Alternatively, you can contact Apple Technical Support.
If Apple determines that an iPod is not repairable, for example, if it has failed due catastrophic damage or the iPod has been disassembled into multiple pieces, then Out-of-Warranty Service is not available and the iPod will be returned. Please see Apple's Repair Terms And Conditions for further details.
Sorry, dropping your ipod is not covered by your warranty, check your Out-of-Warranty Service Options above.

  • How do I transfer music from older ipod to new touch screen ipod

How do I transfer music from my old i pod onto my new touch screen i pod?

First get the music from the old iPod to your computer/iTunes library:
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device: Apple Support Communities
Then sync to the new iPod
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod

  • Chances of Apple releasing a non touch screen iPod.

Does anyone know where a consumer can make suggestions to Apple regarding their products?  I really like the iPods and I have had several older versions but I an in the market for a new one (Nano size) but I hate touch screen devices. I love the simplicity of the Shuffle's controls, but I like having some type of display. Has Apple completely moved away from the demographic of people who want a simple display without dealing with a touch screen? I mainly would like to know if they will ever come out with another small iPod that has teh click-wheel again.
