Touch screen opening wrong apps
when I tap an app, it often opens the wrong one but in the same column, this happens on my iphone also. Is this an app problem or a technical problem with both ipad and iphone?
Well it could be related to the shared apps assuming that there is some corrupt data in one of the apps that are shared by both devices. It could even be some weird setting in one of the shared apps that causes this.
Now that you say that it used to happen on another iPhone as well, that reinforces my/our thinking that there is corruption in one of the shared apps.
But before you start to delete previous purchases, have you tried closing all apps in the task bar, reboot the iPad and start with a clean slate - as far as apps go anyway? Maybe that's worth a try first.
I assume that you do know how to do this (close apps) but just in case.....
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the apps that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Reboot the iPad and see if that helps.

If the touch screen is not having any response then you probably have a hardware failure. Take your phone to an Apple Store or authorised service provider to have it checked.

I've been having an issue with assistive touch, every time I open an app. the AT disappears the from the screen and I have to turn it off and ON again. Is there a way to fix this?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

After upgrade to ios5, none of the apps will load. Touching an icon does not open the app; it just blinks and returns to the screen.
Go to the App Stor and download an app- any free app will do, it doesn't matter.
Doing this usually "resets" your device's "app awareness" and you should be able to run any app with no problem.
And no, you don't have to keep that free one you just downloaded. You can delete it if you don't want it. -
I had my ipod touch 4th generation plugged into my sterio and i tried to swipe open my pinger app and now its stuck on the load screen for the app and wont do anything at all its frozen. How do I fix it??
Reset your iPod. Hold the power and the home button for 10 seconds till the iPod restarts. No data will be lost.

Sorry, darned auto correct. Sleep and home. The home is the button on the front of your iPad. The sleep button is also the power down button. It's on the upper right edge of your iPad.

So I bought my wife our 1st iPhone 4S today w/ Verizon. I booted it up and it started having a voice repeat every command, and function (no, its not Siri).
BTW... Siri doesn't work, I can't scroll in the settings, when I open an app it actually opens the wrong app, and I can't find a way do fix any of it. I tried a hard boot by holding down the power button and the button on the lower midddle of the phone. When it rebooted, it got worse. Now what?

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Or if those do not work - quit Safari

I have a brand new ipod touch 32gb ipod touch. Upgraded to ios 7. open music app but there is no radio tab to select!!! All online help just says, "just select it".
I have looked at the "More" part but again radio is not an option.

My Ipod touch plays music but every time I open an app that I have downloaded it closes immediately. This started happening after updating to the latest version of Ipod software.
Here's a couple things to try:
1. Reset the iPod by holding the sleep/wake button and home button at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
2. Uninstall and reinstall one of your purchased apps. Sometimes this can rectify the issue.
3. Connect the iPod to iTunes and restore it. New system software usually resolves the issue. Make sure you sync before restoring because a restore removes the data from your iPod.
