Touch typing tutor for OS 9?

Hello there,
Perhaps this isn't the right board for this question, but here goes anyway!
I'm looking for a child-friendly, freeware touch-typing tutor program that I can install on 6 iBooks I want to use with my class... Does anyone know of such a piece of software?

I don't remember if I used this version, but this one says it works with 9.1. Pretty close to being free...

If this is in the wrong discussion group, I apologise.
I'm looking for a typing tutor for my MacBook Air. I'm a hunt and peck type, and need to learn how to touch type.
I write for a living, so it's vital that I master this skill.

Touch typing/ergonomics: which fingers for the apple (command) key?

I've been using Apples since I started using computers in the early nineties, but I only recently learned to touch type.
On the PCs I have in the lab I use my little finger for the control key.
Which fingers work best for the apple/command keys?
I've looked on the web to no avail.

I use my middle finger for the apple control key. I usually have my fingers on the touchpad about the time I want to use the apple key. I am a strange touch typer, however.
Really, it is all based on what YOU are comfortable with. If you find it ackward, if 1,000,000 people say its right, its still wrong. Experiment.
Touch typing is one of those beautiful, adjustable skills.
Once you find one that is comfortable, just make certain that you keep doing the same thing, or you won't learn the keys perfectly.

Arcade Typing Tutor

I downloaded Arcade Typing Tutor 1.5 from the Apple Downloads web site onto two iMac machines and it will not run on either. Both are running OS 10.4.11. One is a PowerPC and the other an Intel machine. I double-click the application, it shows up briefly on the dock and then disappears.
Anyone know what's up?

I don't have it to test unfortunately... on Dial-up here.
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, when that completes...
Reboot.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.

Accessibility: typing delay for ipad

I am curently working with a physically paralysed person who has severe coordination problems. His only way to communicate with the rest of the world is with an iPad. Since volontary movements are almost impossible, a lot of unwanted keys are pressed when trying to write something...
** I was wondering if there's any way to set a typing delay for the keyboard or desensitize the touch screen keyboard?? **

I thought I had made too many attempts, but I've reset it and it still won't let me on. I have no idea what the password is or why it is now asking for one. Help!!

Look at the manual for the router. The password is on the router. Then change the password in the router to something other than the default one and use that password when the iPod asks for it (it will only ask once, once it has the password/router combo in its memory, it will remember it)

I tried turning the iPod off and on again, but that made all my apps behave like that. Settings and those things work fine still. Should this suddenly happen? I dont want to lose all 204 apps.

You can set up more than one device on your computer, and iTunes will remember the settings for each of them:

But you'll have to use your Apple ID to sync bought media to her device. Disable all other things you don't want to sync like photos, contacts, etc.

Why is my iPod touch repeatedly asking for different iTunes account passwords?

Does anyone know why my iPod Touch keeps asking for 5 different iTunes account passwords? Also, in the iTunes app it says I have 651 songs preparing to download, and I didnt tell it to download them. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? It only began after I reset my iPod.

I have this problem too. I'm trying to restore an iPod and it asks me for account numbers. Is there Anyway to get around it? Cause it does not seem fair if I can have and listen to it on my iTunes but not my iPod. The one account is from a girl who litteraly went mentally insane, I'm not going to be asking for her password EvER. And the other is An ex friend and I don't even know who the third account is! You have to restore and thus erase your iPod. that is how it works.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

What exactly happens when you try to update the iPod? What does the error message say?
