Touch Wont Sync calanders or podcasts......really slow syncing etc

Hi Guys,
My 16gb iPod Touch on my macbook pro wont sync calanders it just hangs....i left it over night.....nothing.....i reset the ipod......nothing.......i re installed itunes......nothing it simply wont work and crashes everytime it syncs when it gets to the calanders??????
Also it wont sync podcasts?
Any Suggestions?

I have had this problem too....
Tried everything in the books, reset, restore, recreating my library etc etc....
nothing....
Now my music is on my G5, so I tried to sync it to my macbook (intel), and after puttng a few songs in the intel library I connected the ipod touch... sync just fine...
So something is telling me that it is a software issue not addressed on non-intel machine.
saying that Just before plugging the ipod back on my power mac, and leave it there all week end to sync I tried to purchase a song from the ipod... Great experience....
I then plugged it to my power mac....
it is syncing much faster....
try and understand that one....
Cause I don't....
Saying that the song I purchased on the ipod doesn't appear in my computer library...
As much as I love Apple Product and have been for a long time, I must say that this ipod touch feels rushed...
Not sure if this issue is shared with the iphone... not that it would make a difference to us...

I pod touch wont sync or backup as states backup is corrupt?

My I pod touch wont sync! I understand from other communities that I can do this manually using a drag and drop method but how do I turn on manual management. It will no longer back up as it states that the backup is corrupt.

I upgraded from a pc to a mac and now my ipod touch wont sync to my mac

so i recently upgraded from my old pc to a new mac book pro. i managed to move all my purchases from my old pc to my mac but now my ipod touch wont sync with my mac. it keeps saying that i need a newer version of itunes even though im fully up to date. please help!

Try re-installing the latest version from this page on top of the current installed version and see if that helps.

Next I would try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then try restoring the iPod. Note that this will erase the iPod. For recovery mode see:

My 4th gen ipod touch wont sync only check marked songs, how do i fix that?

I just got a 4th gen. ipod touch. it works fine everything is great on it but when i try to sync only check marked songs onto it from itunes it wont sync any songs at all. I thought i solved the problem when i clicked "autofill" in the music tab under "my devices" but all that did was randomly put songs on my ipod. i went to the settings and unchecked "choose items randomly" and tried again but it did the same thing. i know its not my computer cuz the same thing was happening with my old ipod. i have "sync only checked songs" marked but it just wont work. Playlist created on Ipod touch wont sync to itunes?

So i have the iPod touch 2nd gen and I created a playlist and when I plug my iPod into itunes the playlist does not save to itunes :c I synced music onto my ipod touch via the manually manage music and videos which is why i think it wont sync the playlist >.< Does anyone know how to get itunes to have this playlist without removing or changing any of the music on my ipod? Or if i can publish this playlist to add it to a different ipod of mine not through itunes since it wont let me? Please help meeee, itll mean a lot

also i cannot get it to run in recovery mode.

How are you syncing? OTA or plugged in?
What IOS are you running on your iPod? Are you sure the apps will run on your IOS?
Are you getting an error when you try to sync apps?

I have a new ipod touch just put it on the computer for the first time and it wont sync and has a frozen screen.
i have restored it and that did not work.

Unplug your iPod from your computer and hold down the home and power buttons until the screen turns off. Then hold them again until the Apple logo shows. Eventually, your iPod should work again.

Ipod touch wont sync with nook since 5.0.1

Before the upgrade my touch would sync with the nook using the nook app and the nook would sync with the touch. Now it won't despite setting book marks or resyncing. My ipad still syncs both ways with no problems.

Ipod Touch Wont Sync to Itunes

Hey, so my ipod touch hasnt worked right with itunes for a while now, ive done a lot of things trying to get it to work but heres the issue. When i plug in my itouch, itunes doesnt do anything. Ive made sure the sync automatically setting is on, but that changes nothing. It doesnt even recognize my itouch, when i look to the sidebar on itunes it doesnt say "*insert name* ipod. So naturally the first thing i tried doing was using the itunes troubleshooter, but the instance i press the next button to start the process, it freezes itunes, which stops responding and closes. So next i tried to reinstall itunes. This actually does solve my issue, as when i put the ipod in immediately after it does sync, however the very next day it will not work again. I dont feel like reinstalling itunes every night to sync it. So now ive been looking on the internet for solutions, ive done many things that havent helped at all, i did all the things that the apple website says to do, and it didnt work still. Right now i really dont know who else to ask.

Ipod touch wont sync but older 5G will

Hi All, Hope someone can help.
I have a new touch and a 30GB 5G Video Ipod. I also have two computers with Itunes installed, an XP machine and a Vista machine. Both machines have fully powered USB ports and I am connecting directly to the port.
On the XP machine both the Touch and 5G sync fine, so I dont have an issue with hardware, cables etc. On the Vista machine the 5G syncs fine but the touch does not appear as a device in Itunes. It connects and shows up as a device in the Device manager in Vista. When I first got the touch it did sync with the Vista box.
I MAY have told Itunes on the Vista box to not sync with the touch and I MAY have ticked the "don't show me this again" box. I'm really not sure. I have also:
reset the touch
tried various cables
reinstalled itunes (twice)
I would really prefer to have the touch on the Vista machine if possibe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume yu mean that iTunes does not see your iPOd Touch.
Yes, it is likely that the scanner software is casung the problem. However, first try:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Is the scanner sofware still uninstalled? It should be. Also try removing and reinstall the Apple software by using the Vista/Win7 link provided in:
