Touchpad randomly locks itself and wont unlock on Satellite P50-A

Don't know if anyone can help me out but i recently bought a P50-A laptop and i am having issues with the touch-pad.
Basically what is happening is that every now and then my touch-pad randomly locks itself and then wont allow me to unlock and will unlock once I have reset the laptop.
I have checked the drivers and everything appears to be working fine and there appears to be no hardware conflicts.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I recommend disabling or changing the PalmCheck settings within the touchpad pointing area.

Hi, my IPad is driving me nuts! Can anyone help please?
I can be in the middle of anything ( games, apps, typing, banking, etc. etc.) and with the slightest movement or nudge - the screen locks itself and goes black??
I then have to press the home button, slide to unlock it - and it opens back up to exactly where I was.
This happens constantly, and is so frustrating!

Is there a case or screen protector that is possibly interfering with the proximity sensor (detects if the phone is near your face, allows the keypad/screen to be visible when the phone is away from your face)

Sorry, but the warranty for the phone is only valid in the country where you bought the device, and you can't send it in, Apple does not ship internationally.
Has the phone been officially unlocked? Only the carrier can unlock an iPhone.

I'm not aware of an online keyboard that is available and can do this. Most likely it would need to be a function of the app itself (which can and sometimes do add functionlaity to the keyboard).
Wireless keyboard might handle that, if that's an option for you.
I work in IT myself, and IMHO the iPad isn't the ideal device for coding or scripting work.

We've an article that provides the following troubleshooting steps that may help stabilize your iPhone.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.

I have a problem with my iPhone 4. It randomly shuts off and wont turn on again until i plug in the charger. This happens at least once a day and is extremly annoying and i can´t really use it anymore. I´ve tried a reset but with no results. Please help me out, thanks

I know there been a while, but I just need to tell you this
I tried a restore and it didn´t work out. The same problem just continued and i started using and old phone instead. A couple of days ago I read something about ios6, and I thought: Why not try it on my iPhone that I don´t use? I installed ios6 and since then the phone have worked perfectly, except for one single hangup but then it was just to restart it. Ios6 beta 2 is actully really stable. I mean, now at least it´s a fully functional phone.

power down your phone and unplug from your computer
hold down the home button then plugin and wait till you get a message about an iphone in recovery mode
follow the instructions on screen to restore your phone
(this will wipe out your phone but it is the only option other than remembering your passcode)
in the setup screen after its restored you can restore information from icloud or a backup given you have one

Any Suggestions...it all of a sudden reset itself and now asks me to activate...each time i try over wifi it says it is offline and to try thru itunes...try through itunes and it wont let me activate...says all is good...very confused and stressed!

If you are not a developer:
You have to restore your phone.
Open iTunes
Plug in your phone
Hold down the home button and power button at the same time
When the screen goes black let go of the power button but not the home button
Restore the iPhone
Wait for about an eternity
Tell god you are sorry you stole from apple in the summer and you will never do it again.

You have tried the correct steps to try and get it to power on, I would suggest to take the iPhone into an Apple Store or Service Provider to be evaluated.

I Mac G5 locks up and wont boot up

I have been having a problem with my 2005 IMac G5. It has been an ongoing problem since I bought the computer. The problem starts when the computer locks up and needs to be powered down, after which it will not boot up again. I get a gray screen with a flashing ? mark and the fan goes into hyper drive. I have tried all the tips in troubleshooting; resetting the PR, looking at the led lights, etc. It will not start up in safe mode.
While it was under warranty, the apple store replaced the hard drive and re-imaged the hard drive several times. Since it is out of warranty the only thing the store will do is re-image the hard drive which fixes the problem for maybe a day or two and then the computer locks up again I have the maximum amount of memory in the machine so when it is working it is fast. I heard there was a problem with the airport wireless card in these machines. Could that be the problem or could the hard drive be bad? I hate to throw this computer away because it was hardly used. Thanks for any comments.

Don't throw it away, clone the drive to an external and then put a new drive in the iMac, and then revere clone from your external.

my ipad has never been dropped or overheated, but suddenly the screen went to the lock screen and then the logo screen and it keeps doing that. i tried resetting but its unresponsive. is this a common issue with ipad and whats wrong with it? i was checking the AccuWeather app when this happened and my battery was full if that helps. thanks
