TouchSmart Browser Fatal error
I am running Windows 7 on a TouchSmart 300-1020. When in the TouchSmart application the browser will not run. A message says "browser.exe fatal error" and the tile is blank. The internet does run fine when I am not in the TouchSmart app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a problem I hope you guys can help me.

Device Software version: 4.5.0.55
Desktop Software version: 4.7.0.37
Carrier: Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte Ltd(https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/browseSoftware.do)
Everytime I start up my desktop software, it would prompt me that there are newer versions for some of the applications in my blackberry such as my browser, brickbreaker etc. So I followed through their instructions to install these updates. When it reached step 3/11, an error would occur while it say it was trying to turn on my radio

But I do observed that @ task 1/11, it switched off my radio. @ task 3/11 it tried to switch back on again. thats when the error occured.
when I unplugged my device after the error, I saw that my mobile connection was off and my blackberry had to re-connect again. I do admit that my area has pretty bad reception, but that cant be the problem right?
On top of that, maybe I also like to pop another 2 questions:
1) Why is it I cant set up my email? I followed the instructions here:

but my setup wizard dont have the option to select "I want to create or add an email address"
I only gives me the option of the enterprise mail
2) I tried to browse to to te blackberry website using my blackberry, but its says my device is not supported. Any way to solve this?

Fatal Error Acrobat failed to send a DDE command
Hello all. I have a fillable form I developed using word 2010. I am trying to convert it to a PDF form. I open acrobat and select star from wizard from the Forms menu. I browse to find the word document and open it. I save the PDF document and everything looks good. I get a progress bar that says "Please wait, reading Adobe PDF". This is very slow progress and then I get the Fatal Error message "Acrobat Failed to send a DDE command". I click ok and the progress bar continues still very slowly. I get the same message again. I click ok and the progress bar continues. The progress bar gets to the end and just stays there. Nothing happens. I waited for an hour and then cancelled it. When clicked cancel, the PDF document opens with my form but without any fillable fields or drop down menus. I tried to do it again a few times and I get the same error message. I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 pro version 9.4.2. Thank you in advance for your help.

AA 9 will not work for anything but the print function from WORD 2010. The only version of Acrobat that is compatible with OFFICE 2010 for PDF Maker is AA X. Thus, open WORD and print to the Adobe PDF printer. Then open the pdf in Acrobat. Go to FORMS>Add or Edit fields. Since you have no fields at present, Acrobat will ask if you would like to detect form fields. Answer yes and you will get a first cut at the form fields. Yes, you will likely have to add some more and change the ones that Acrobat estimates, but you are on your way.
The other two options you have is to go back to WORD 2007 or earlier or upgrade to AA X (or find someone with AA X and WORD 2010). These methods are pretty much your options with the software combination that you have. -
Flash Crashes across all browsers and recent fatal errors
This problem has basicly been going on for years and my operating system has been resintalled a couple of times before but basicly the problem is that adobe flash player (and Microsoft Silverlight) would crash a browser (IE, Chrome, and Firefox) often. I have tried the fixes ive read about but they didnt seem to work so I just decided to put up with it until I began getting fatal errors. I had my hardware checked out and there are no problems with and all my drivers are up to date.

HD 5570 and HD 6870 (upgraded from one to the other but problem still occurs)
Like I said I usually try to put up with flash (and silverlight) crashing my browser but now they crash the browse so badly it forces a bugcheck (or blue screen of death). I have tried to reload my operating system, then updated my drivers, and then in clean boot mode I still get pretty nasty crashes. I think the problem is within one of my drivers but I cant pinpoint which driver is the culprit.

I support a bunch of Mac users and one of them (10.5.7 MBP) ran into this same
problem last week with both Safari and Firefox crashing with the flash player
plugin. If I removed the Flash Player plugin and the .xpt file there was no
crashing but no flash either. I used a combination of different suggestions and
here's what finally worked (so far anyway):
Show package contents for Firefox/Contents/MacOS/components and Get Info
changing perms for read/write for everyone.
Re-installed shockwave plugin using the customized full install (this made no
sense to me since I had made no change to shockwave but as I was testing the
browsers I was prompted to install it, so I did)
Repaired permissions
The version of the Flash Player plugin that ended up installed on this Mac is
10.0.12.36. I started off installing the newer and recommended 10.0.22.87
version but it didn't fix anything. I inadvertently went backwards as I moved
plugins in and out of the Library. I didn't want to change anything once it was
working so I left it at the older version. I hope this helps someone else. -
JInitiator 1.3 Fatal Error Attachment to a running Virtual Machine failed
We are running forms 9i from 9ias R2. We have an outside client trying to access the application from a machine with Windows XP. They receive the following errror after downloading the Jinitiator 1.3.1.9: JInitiator 1.3 Fatal Error - Attachment to a running Virtual Machine failed. As we are using Windows 2000, we have not come across this before and I find nothing on Metalink.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you have a solution?Hi,
whatever browser you are running, during installation of the Browser (Netscape 7.x) or IE (postinstall) you decided to make teh Java Plugin 1.4 your default JVM. This means the VM is started when JInitiator loads which then leads to this collision. Disable Java Plugin as a default VM and it shoudl work fine.

Jinitiator 1.3 Fatal Error
Hi All,
I'm using Windows 7 32 bit OS. Installed JRE 6 Update 32 version and JInitiator 1.3.1.22. My application is designed with Oracle Forms 10g. When I try to open my application getting Jinitiator 1.3 Fatal error Java Run Time Environment cannot be loaded from <...\jvm.dll>. I have replaced Jinitiator jvm.dll file with JRE6 jvm.dll file.
And also uninstalled the JRE,Jintiator and reinstalled but with no luck.
Can any one please help me on this?The Oracle JInitiator is no longer supported by Oracle, however it will still work with Windows XP and IE 6. However, as you are using Windows 7 your browser is at least IE 8 - which is completely incompatible with Jinitiator. When Oracle Forms 10g was first released, Jinitiator was the default Java PlugIn but it also supports up to Java Runtime 1.6.0_32. You will need to modify your Forms Runtime configuration to use the JRE 1.6.0. This Oracle white paper describes the process: Oracle 10gR2 Forms Services – Using Sun's Java Plug-in.

When I try to open an applet on a site I get the message "Java plug-in fatal error- several Java virtual machines running in the same process caused an error". Checking my add/remove program I see that I have J2SE runtime environment 5.0 updates 7,9,10 and 11. Java 2 runtime environment standard edition version 1.3.1_02, 1.4.1_01, and 1.4.2_03. Also Java runtime environment 6 update 1. I'm running Windows XP service pack 2. Hope someone has a solution to my problem.

1) Does this occur on all browser(s) which includes Firefox, Mozilla other then Internet Explorer
2) What is the outcome of running testvm applet:

3) Does this error start appearing after updating to 6u01
4) Have you attempted running the applet after deleting Java Plug-in and browser cache
This could be an issue with memory management on the system.
The possible workaround(s) are:
1) Try setting virtual memory as System managed:
Windows xp users start--->control panel--->System--->advanced---->Performance(setting)---->Advanced---->virtualmemory(change)--->Click system managed size--->set then Ok restart your computer
2) Set JRE parameter less then 3/4 of actual physical memory present in the system.
For example, 512 MB if RAM is 1024 MB.
3) Disable any unwanted/new/confusing add-on in the browser (IE7).
For example, Windows Live Sign-in add-on can restrict Java functioning due to unknown reasons. Disabling same, if installed could be helpful. -
Fatal errors using JavaFX ChoiceBox, Tooltip, Popup in Eclipse (RCP) View
I'm using JavaFX within an Eclipse RCP application. Any JavaFX popup (ChoiceBox, Tooltip, etc..) within an eclipse view causes a fatal exception to occur when clicking on the popup. The popups do appear, but clicking on them causes the fatal error.
I created a standalone JavaFX application to confirm that the Popups work fine in that environment. They do.
I also created a standalone SWT-based application (outside of an RCP) that embeds the FXCanvas within an SWT shell and the problem doesn't occur there either.
But when the Combo is contained in an FXCanvas within and RCP view, the fatal exception occurs.
Has anybody else seen this behavior?
I tried it with JavaFX 2.0.2, 2.1 b17, 2.1 b19 (all 32bit)
I'm using JRE 6.0_30-b12 (32bit) on Windows 7 (64bit)
My RCP target platform is based on eclipse 3.6 (galileo).

FATAL error when opening Java Console in IE6.0 ?!

I am experiencing problems with the following issue.
Java JDK/JRE 1.5.0_04 (the latest distribution)
I installed Java JDK last night and after installation everything was OK, until my IE6.0 Browser crashed (I had to close all the browser windows)
After this I wasn't able to load Java Console anymore but I got the following error message.
TM- FATAL ERROR
The Java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded from <\bin\server\jvm.dll>
(I also cannot run any Applets)
NOTE
The Java Console worked just fine right the installation.
I do have two user accounts on the same computer and if I login to the other users account everything is OK; i.e. I am able to run Applets and Java Console I also can open without any problems.
I have now done the following.
1) I have reinstalled the JRE
2) I have reinstalled the JDK
3) I have reinstalled both again into different directories.
If I just uninstall JRE then I can gain the previous version of the JRE back into use and then I am able to run Applets normally. ( version JDK 1.4.2_05+JRE 1.4.2_05)
How could I overcome this problem ??User,
As you did not give any other information other then the stack trace it's heard to help. Does this error show a dialog box which asks you if want to save your work and exit or save and continue?

Fatal error on trial download?
Trying to download FM 10/Windows from the download page, and get this message from the Akamai download tool:
"Download manager fatal error: Could not find the requested file on the server."
This seems to reference a file named WWEFDJ.exe. Can anyone confirm where the files can be successfully downloaded? Thanks.I haven't seen that error, but the download manager does produce two files, one .exe and another. The .exe uses the second file during the installation.
Usually the files are either in your browser's \Download folder or on your desktop.
However -- I haven't been able to get the download manager to work in Firefox or Chrome -- it's only worked for me under IE. So you may want to try with IE too.
Also, Adobe doees provide free install support; may be worth a call to see if they have thoughts.... -

I'm using DWCS3, publishing to WAMPserver and I've had no problems in the past making use mySQL and php for simple dynamic sites through pro hosting services, but his is the first time I've ever set up my own server. I can see from the 1st error that it's looking for a file in a "Connections" directory that doesn't exists at my site root, but I can't figure out how to resolve this correctly. For the second error, I'm not sure what "(include_path='.;C:\php\pear')" is referring to. There is no such directory at that path. Maybe that's the point... I'm guessing that's the current set path, but it shouldn't be . Again, I'm not sure how to remedy this. What do I edit and what's the logic behind it?

Thanks for your help I initially tried to down load Captivate, but was having difficulty, it wasn't downloading, I looked at the specifications on the adobe site and realized I don't have a DVD-ROM drive. I thought maybe that was my issue.
Upon further research I realized that the Adobe product Presenter could also work for my project and didn't have the DVD ROM requirement so I tried downloading that from the website.
I began using Safari, when I clicked the "trial button", it took me to the download page, where I logged in with my Adobe login and hit download. Immediately an Adobe dialog box opened up - and it looked like it began processing the download, however within 5-7 seconds the fatal error appeared. I tried several more times with the same result.
I googled the error message and was directed to the Adobe forum page, which was under construction but gave the advise to try the Adobe Twitter page.
Upon doing so, the agent who responded recomeended I try downloading from a different browser. So, I did, I tried with Firefox and with Chrome, Both resulted in the same "fatal error" dialog box.
The agent recommended that i turn off firewalls, plugins, blocks etc... which, I tried... not sure if I did it right, but even so, got the same results and have been unable to download the trial. Im not really that technically inclined to instinctively know what to turn off or on.... But I sure can follow directions so, if you have an idea of how I could solve my issues that would be amazing! I was just going to log on to the Apple store to see if I could get an appointment with a genius to try to help me... but would love to save a trip out in the sub temperatures and use up my day!!!!

hi after creating an imovie 09 project and editting it i quitted imovie09. i thought that this program had an autosave function so i believed that when i clicked projects library my movie would be there and open, but when i opened it , it was empty.
