Tough question to phrase...

Hi guys...
Since english is not my native language, I'll do my best to explain what I want to know... Bare with me !
It maybe a stupid question or fix... but I need your help with this.
I have an issue with Aperture 3.1 and selecting multiple images and applying correction, rating, etc... to the selection.
As an example...
If I select a certain number of images with the command key and try to apply star rating or color label, it doesn't do it to all the images selected but ALWAYS the last one. I can see all the images selected because they have a small white frame around it, but applying to all doesn't work !
I'm following the Aperture 3 Apple Certified book lessons to go the right way learning Aperture and lesson 1 shows that. But I can'T do it...
Surprisingly, applying flagging with the forward slash key on all the images selected works well...
In the adjust tab, it doesn't... if I select some images and want, let's say, to apply more contrast, it will do it on the last image... like ratings...
If you have a solution for this, that would be REALLY appreciated as I don't see myself rating 550 images one by one ! ! !
Thanks all for your help !
Marc

    My HP, purchased in June 2012, died on Saturday.  I was working in recently installed Photoshop, walked away from my computer to answer the phone and when I came back the screen was blank.  When I turned it on, I got a Windows Error Recovery message.  The computer was locked and wouldn't let me move the arrow keys up or down and hitting f8 didn't do anything.
    I'm not happy with HP.  Any suggestions?

  • A tough question regarding the AC adapter packed in with the iBook G4

    I have had this iBook less than a year after buying it new from Apple and along with it, I bought Applecare for piece of mind.
    Now onto the question here. The "Duck" connector (the flip out AC prongs) that connect to my power brick has failed and I was informed that this was a "consumable" by an Apple representative even when talking to a "higher up" along the support chain. He informed me that it was in my included documentation but if this was included, I asked him just exactly what page might I find this on or a page detailing just what is covered or not covered when it comes to the Applecare warranty on portables. Needless to say, I did try combing the site and my original print manuals and Applecare paperwork saying nothing about "consumables" when it comes to a notebook computer.
    I ended up setting out and buying another USB iPod charger just for that silly connector so I could charge my battery but still puzzled by Apple's response to this.
    Anyone else ever experience such great service or a similar problem with the power brick in general? (sarcasm...)

    On my iBook models using the same white cube power adapter, I've used
    only the cord they supplied with the adapter; and have not used the odd
    toggle/plugin it shipped with. I heard stories about the connection not
    being as good if that little part was used, so I always use the long cord.
    No issues; I plug the AC cord into the power first, and the little DC cord
    into the computer second. Less sparks, too; and not as big a shock to
    the computer as plugging it in the other way.
    Someone may be able to get just the replacement part you seek without
    buying another complete adapter. If I could find the small plug part, I'd
    just send it to you; but I think it got lost or ran away due to disinterest.
    [To just replace that part of the adapter, when travelling overseas
    would be a better idea (to comply with local power-port shapes)
    than carrying a whole set of power cord adapters. I wonder if
    they sell just that part in that Apple universal power adapter kit?]
    I also have a second complete new adapter in the original sealed package;
    so I hope it works when or if I need it. The part should be under the extended
    warranty; just like I was told the battery should be, too. These factoids may or
    may not be true. Or if they were, perhaps they no longer are. A product specialist
    would be one to ask what the policy is on an exact item. I'm not that!

  • Astrology Java Program- a tough question

    I need someone to help me in my project...here is the question:
    Write an astrology program. The user types in his or her birthday(month,day,year),
    and the program responds with the user's zodiac sign, the traits associated with each sign
    the user's age(in years,months,day), the animal sign for the year(e.g., Year of the Pig,
    Year of the Tiger), the traits associated with each animal sign, and if the year is a leap
    year or not. The dates covered for each sign can be searched through the horoscope section
    of a newspaper or through the internet. Then enhance your program so that if the user is one
    or two days away from the adjacent sign, the program outputs the nearest adjacent sign as well
    as the traits associated with the nearest sign. The month may be entered as a number from 1 to 12
    or in words, i.e.,January to December. Limit the year of the birthday from 1900 to 2010 only.
    The program should allow the user to repeat the entire process as often as desired.
    You can use this imports:
    import java.text.DateFormat;
    import java.util.Date;
    import java.util.Calendar;
    thanks for your reply! I am hoping for your kind consideration!

  • Tough Question on Images and Tiles

    This is a tough one.
    I am looking for a way to have a .gif image to appear in an applet. I am then looking to be able to have a pallette of images where I can click on one and then click on the image and have that space tiled in with the image.
    I know it is possible.
    Does anyone know where I can find some source code for this? I already have a pallette with just colors that will fill in the image where I click. Im am looking to expand it.

    If you are giving a rating of say 5 hearts you could make up an image with 5 hearts on it with the same background as the web page. This would reduce the total number of images.
    You could also use a text * and increase its size in relation to the text.

  • Tough question, but how much study is usually required for cert. exams

    I have been working for 3-4 years as a Configuration Manager administrator, mostly in CM12. I have strong areas, like OSD and application deployment, and weaker areas, like PKI/https and Compliance Settings. I consider myself to be an advanced technician
    or engineer.
    I am considering System Center Configuration Manager certification (70-243), but am wondering how much of an endeavor this is likely to be. Can others that have taken this or similar certificate exams please advise me? In weighing the value of certification,
    I am wondering if I will be likely to succeed with a 100 hour commitment, or is it going to much more substantial a time investment?
    I know this will vary wildly depending on how quickly a person learns and what they already know, but would love to have some idea before I decide to go down this path. I welcome your feedback and experience.
    Gary

    Hi Gary-
    As you mentioned, the time it takes to properly prepare for an exam varies quite a bit.  So it will be helpful if other people chime in with their experiences too.  For most Microsoft exams, there are topics that you know and work with, topics
    that you've read about but not worked with, and topics that are new to you.  Let me break down how this impacts the amount of time required to study:
    Topics that you know and work with.  Some people might think that these topics don't require study time.  I think they do require study time.  That's because most admins have a specific method that they use in their work.
    That might not be the method that the exam tests you on.  For example, in ConfigMgr you might use the management console for the  majority of your work.  The exam may test you on PowerShell.  It may ask a basic question about performing
    a task that you know how to do in the management console but the only answer choices are PowerShell.  Or, they may test you on a new feature in R2 when your environment isn't running R2.  I recommend that you review the latest enhancements to R2
    and spend a bit of time investigating alternate methods to perform tasks.  I estimate about 4 or 5 hours on this.
    Topics that you've read about but not worked with.  These topics require study.  I recommend that you read about them and work with them.  For example, you should read about configuration items AND implement them in a lab
    environment.  There are several learning styles and often people don't know which style is most effective for them.  Some learn by reading, some learn by doing, some learn by hearing, etc.  Typically, you will retain more knowledge by combining
    the learning styles.  For me, I typically start by playing with a technology in my lab for a few hours.  Afterward, I will read about it.  Then maybe go back to the lab.  For others, it may be different.  But definitely experiment
    to see what feels right for you.  I recommend that you avoid just reading about something that you've never worked with because it will make the exam difficult to pass.
    Topics that are new to you.  These topics require the most study.  As Alberto pointed out, use the Skills Measured section.  Print it out.  Each time you finish reading and exploring a technology and feel comfortable,
    cross it off.  For these new topics, definitely get your hands on them in a lab.  Even if you only spend a few minutes with each one.
    For me, I usually allocate about 2 weeks to study for an exam.  But study time during that two weeks comes in between regular work and family stuff.  Maybe a couple of hours a day total and a few extra hours the day before the exam.  In the
    past, I've allocated as little as 1 week to prepare for an exam.  For beta exams, I've walked in several times without any preparation.  In all cases, I always think that I should've spent a couple of extra hours.
    If you've never taken a certification exam or a Microsoft certification exam, you'll want to spend more time than others who have taken exams.  But, one thing I typically tell people is not to spend too much time studying.  It will work against
    you.  If you spend 8 weeks studying, by the half way point you will start forgetting the stuff you studied in the first week.  When the exam comes up, you'll have probably forgotten half of the stuff you studied.  I recommend a maximum of 4
    weeks of study for an exam like this.  A book dedicated to 70-243 will be helpful but should be combined with hands on time in a lab environment.  If you don't have a lab to work in, check out the free TechNet labs for Configuration Manager at
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/virtuallabs/bb467605.aspx.  Finally, don't worry about failing an exam.  It is often the one thing that can help you the most in your exam
    preparation!  I advise that you schedule the exam.  Pick a date a couple of weeks out and commit by scheduling it.  If you fail, you will know exactly what you need to do before you take the exam again!

  • Need help ASAP, have a tough question about CPU and BIOS...

    Alrighty guys... I'm not super smart when it comes to BIOS and the nitty gritty computer stuff, but I know my way around. Here's the thing...
    This is the desktop I have:
    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=120&prodSeriesId=...
    It's sorta old, but it gets the job done quickly. I had an issue with it some time ago and I thought it was the power supply, so I replaced it. While I was waiting for the power supply to arrive, I took the CPU out, just to be nosey. I accidentally bent a couple of the prongs, so I had to get a new one.
    First, I bought a Black Edition AMD quad core, but the 125W was too high for my 95W chip. I had to sell it. I sold that and I just bought a new one:
    http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Phenom%20X4%209850%20-%20HD9850XAJ4BGH%20(HD9850XAGHBOX).html
    I put it in the computer, boot it up and it goes to the HP boot screen and then goes to a black screen stating that the CPU is not compatible and that it's going to shut down. When I reset it and try to press F10 or any of the keys it states that it's going to go to that screen, but then just goes to the black CPU shutdown screen again. There is one thing that the computer will do though. When I press F2 when it's in the black shutdown screen, it will SOMETIMES load the two HDD's that I have. It's just really weird. One time I got it to go to a HP diagnosis page. It showed the CPU and had a big green check next to it. It checked the memory too, and it got a check. Then it just froze and I had to shut it down. I can't seem to get it to that screen again.
    My real question is why won't it recognize that my CPU is compatible? Do I need to update my BIOS? Can I do that without a CPU and a running OS? I really don't feel like selling this processor. I know that I should have just gotten the exact same processor model that came out of it.
    Any info will be nice! Thanks so much!!

    Here are the specs for your HP Pavilion a6720y Desktop Computer and it's M2N78-LA (Violet) motherboard. According to the specs, your computer supports the following CPUs;
    Socket type: AM2/AM2+
    TDP: 95 watts
    AMD Athlon X2 (Bt)
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 up to 6000+ (W)
    AMD Phenom Triple-Core up to 8xxx (AM2+) (Toliman)
    AMD Phenom Quad-Core 9xxx series (AM2+) up to 9850 (Agena)
    Based on the CPU part number supplied, you purchased another 125 watt CPU. The AMD Phenom X4 9850 (HD9850XAGHBOX) isn't going to work because it is rated at 125 watts and therefore is not compatible with your motherboard. Please consider returning (as Dave suggests) or selling your current CPU and getting one of these 95 watt AMD Phenom X4 CPUs.
    Please send KUDOs

  • Tough question - serialization cause infinate loop ?

    If two objects with non-"transient" references to each other are serialized using ObjectOutputStream, will this create an infinite loop?
    i saw this question posted on another forum and I had no freakin idea :=) but im curious does it ?
    how can you get into an infinate loop situation while using ObjectOutputStream and serialization

    Come on now. The people at sun are a bit smarter than that. If an object has already been serialized to a stream, the stream will not re-serialize it, it will just insert a reference to the objects position earlier in the stream.
    so for example
    class A implements java.io.Serializable {
       private B b;
    class B java.io.Serializable {
       private A a;
    }Serializing an instance of A gives this (approx.):
    A{b=B{a=|}}

  • 5 tough questions relating to the monitoring software

    Hi guys,
    I'm writing this on behalf of one of our partners. They are having major problems setting up the monitoring software (v 1.0.0_200809). I have asked them to verify that they are using the latest firmware upgrades on the cameras and that they are running the latest version of the monitoring software. They have confirmed that this is the case.
    I have some doubts about this but perhaps you can help with the issues listed below.
    The following issues have surfaced:
    1. Issues with Graphic Card driver for Intel GMA945
    - if this driver is installed in a laptop the monitoring software (1.0.0_200809) will not inititate/start.
    The error message is: <or corrupted resource files.  Please reinstall to solve this problem.>
    Reinstalling the software will unofortunately not solve the problem. The only way to fix this problem is by removing the driver.
    Question: Is this the only way to get the monitoring software to work and is this a known issue?
    2. The new version of the monitoring software is unable to find the cameras using "search" functionality. The only way to configure tha camera is to do it manually.
    Question: Is this a known issue and how should I truobleshoot this?
    3. The cameras will not store the video feed on the Cisco NAS servers if the monitoring software is shut down. I remember from previous discussions that this should be possible but my partner is unable to get this fixed.
    Question: Are there any instructions for how to set up the cameras so that the video feed is still being stored on the NAS despite closing the monitoring software?
    4. In order to setup an ftp -feed to the NAS server, each camera needs to be configured manually. According to the partner this can not be done centrally using the monitoring software.
    Question: Is this really the case?
    5. According to the partner, it is not possible to use the monitoring software to view stored material that has been transferred using ftp.
    Question: Is this really the case?
    Many thanks in advance!
    Rasmus Almqvist, Cisco Systems Finland

    Hello and sorry for my delay in responding (Was on Vacation).
    1) I have seen the problem you refer to and the way I got around it was to change the screen resolution, believe it or not.  I remember lowering it to 1280x800 and even have it working at 1400x1050.   That is a weird problem, and I did report that to the BU who I believe told NUUO, but for now this is the only workaround.  Uninstalling and reinstalling will not help, as you realize now.
    2) The new Utility WILL FIND all SB Cameras it supports on the LAN.  So if your PC is connected to the LAN and can route (ping) the cameras, it can find them.  Note: xVC2300 require FW upgrade to V1.01 to make them work.   WVC200 will not be recognized at all.
    WAN Monitoring of course will require manual config and port forwarding to an alternate TCP port (PVC300) or an adjusted TCP port (xVC2300).
    3) Correct.  If your it off, it wont record.   This is really menat to be on a dedicated PC that should always be running, so is per design, and I do realize the old utility worked as well when off, but this new one is much improved in other areas and is still free :-)
    The Camera itself can send montion detection or scheduled recordings to an FTP Server (NSS2xxx, NSS3xxx) regardless of the presence of the SWVMS16, so yes, the camera can do this too (Simultaneous; dual stream; dual codec).
    4)  Setting up the FTP client on the Camera and the FTP Server on the NSS is done with a WIZARD or manual config on the elements and is totally separate from SWVMS16, which is an additional capability.
    5)  The SWVMS16 will only save information (video) it records, so is separate fromt he FTP sourced files from the camera. To access the FTP files, just add the NSS to your network neighborhood on the NSS and browse the files (CIFS or NFS) as you would if they were on your own PC.

  • Tough question - can anyone help?

    Hi, this is a follow-up to my previous post about the Mac HD not being mountable through the Installer Disk because it says it can't be repaired. We got to a discussion of using Data Rescue and Target Disk Mode.
    I have another G4 connected to mine via Firewire, but nothing's happening. I have Diskwarrior and Data Rescue, but there's no drive appearing on the other G4. After all, if the HD on the original G4 is unmountable, how can it appear as an external drive on the new one? All advice on this seems to lead round in circles. i.e. if the drive can't be accessed, how can I do anything to it?
    powerbook G4 15" Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    > Well, I'm not sure I can give up that easily when there's important stuff in there.
    That's why it is important to have a backup. If you had a backup, then all the hassle and worry about losing data can be avoided.
    > Data Rescue by Prosoft can find all the files, but the demo version only allows you to restore one file. Which one would you choose?
    All of them. Once I know Data Rescue can potentially retrieve many files I would simply buy the full version. Even if it subsequently only managed to fully retrieve only a few, DR can come in handy for future use - especially its unerase feature.
    If you don't want to pay for the full version of DR the alternative is to use a professional data recovery service - which will cost a lot more than DR.
    > within 4 months my Mac HD fries itself.
    Hard drives can and do fail on any computer irrespective of whether it is a PC or Mac. I have owned many, many Macs over the years and I have (personally)only had a couple of drive failures. Hate to repeat myself but, with a fully bootable cloned backup on an external FireWire drive, you can be up and running again in minutes. You can then wait until a more convenient time to get the dead drive replaced.

  • Tough question: Can I purchase an off-contract iPhone 5 from Verizon and let my brother use it in Europe?

    I have an iPhone 4S with Verizon, and I wanted to know if it would be possible for me to buy an iPhone 5 for the off-contract price just as if I was purchasing it for myself, and then ship it to my brother in Austria and let him use it there on the GSM network.
    The reason I think this might be possible is because the GSM part of the Verizon iPhone 5 comes unlocked out of the box (or so I've been told)
    One obstacle that might stand in the way is if I have to activate the iPhone 5 with Verizon before I send it to him.
    Let me know if this would be possible.

    If it is truly unlocked (versus the sim slot being unlocked), then yes you would be able to do this. I have no way of actually verifying if my VZW iPhone 5 is truly unlocked (I don't know of a local iPhone 5 AT&T customer to use their sim to see if my phone will work) but maybe someone on here has been able to verify this further than just what some articles state. Otherwise, if it's just the sim slot being unlocked then you would need to keep the phone active on VZW and your brother can use simcards on Europe to roam instead of paying the VZW roaming charges.

  • XI Basics - Tough question

    Hi
    I am trying to develop a file-XI--HTTP scenario.
    This is done to transport a pdf as it is.
    As a test I created a file-XI--file scenario but it keeps failing.
    Note: Messages from other interface(receiver) also fail and they all have the same error "HTTP 401 Unauthorized"
    I am suspecting that the service user XIISUSER could be locked or expired.
    If XIISUSER is locked will the integration server be able to communicate with the receiver adapters ?
    Would this event  affect the adapter in the J2ee engine and IDOC and Plain HTTP adapter in the same way?
    For my file-XI-HTTP i am getting the error
    HTTP-Client Code 400 Reason ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED
    Could this error be because the service user XIISUSER is locked?
    Regards,
    Vignesh

    Hey ,
    I have checked the trace from transaction SMICM.
    This is the error i got
    [Thr 2314] *** ERROR => NiPConnect2: SiPeekPendConn failed for hdl 9 / sock 38

    Why was the connection refused ? Can we get any idea about this from the message above?
    Does this error message have somr thing to do with the timeout of the XI system ?
    Below is the message i am getting in sxmb_moni

  • A very tough question ... can someone answer?

    I need to display a portlet (or remote code, I don't care) in a plumtree top nav view. I know how to get the HTML for the portlet and have that display, but it does me no good because the c# codebehind (ASP.NET) never gets processed. All I get is the HTML. This is how I am getting the HTML (code below), but I have to have full functionality of this code, which I'm not getting. Can anybody at Plumtree (or in the user community) assist with this problem?
    IPTSession ptSession = (IPTSession) m_asOwner.GetUserSession();IPTState appState = ptSession.GetStates().Get(1);IPTGadget myNavPortlet = (IPTGadget)ptSession.GetGadgets().Open(597,false);object[][] myObject = myNavPortlet.GetHTMLText(appState);string myString = "";for(int i = 0; i<myObject[PT_MARKUP_ARRAY_COLS.PT_MARKUP_ARRAY_COLS_FRAGMENT].Length; i++){ if(myObject[PT_MARKUP_ARRAY_COLS.PT_MARKUP_ARRAY_COLS_FRAGMENT] != null) {  myString += myObject[PT_MARKUP_ARRAY_COLS.PT_MARKUP_ARRAY_COLS_FRAGMENT][i].ToString(); }}mySpan.AddInnerHTMLString(myString);

    Jason,
    I have written some navigation schemes that place portlet content into a nav area. It isn't a simple task but I will share with you how I have accomplished it.One tricky thing is that using GetGadgets() from the PTSession could negatively affect the performance of your navigation scheme if it is called on every page draw for every user. To work around the performance implications I created two pages in my portlet project. One page has any scripts that are used in the portlet, and another page is the 'dynamic' portlet content that would potentially be different for each user. The 'scripts' file can be shared for all users and in the scripts file there is a transformer tag that represents the URL to the 'dynamic' page. When the navigation scheme is being drawn it uses the included function GetPortletHTML to retrieve the portlet content from PTSession. The HTML returned from this function is cached on the application and shared for all users. When the navigation scheme is output and the page is drawn the On Page Load event triggers a javascript function that grabs the URL for the 'dynamic' page and makes a client side HTTP request for the portlet content./*** Returns a string representing the HTML of a portlet based on the ID being passed in.* * @param asOwner - The activity space currently in use* @param className - the STR_MVC_CLASS_NAME of the view loading the portlet* @param portletID - The ObjectID of the portlet you wish to load* @param useCachedVersion - Whether it should use the version cached on the session or reload the portlet* * @return String - The Portlet HTML*/publicstaticString GetPortletHTML(AActivitySpace asOwner, String className, intportletID, booleanuseCachedVersion) {  // cache the HTML on the session.. you only need to get this once.  ISessionManager settings = asOwner.GetSubSession();  IApplication application = asOwner.GetApplication();  String sReturn = null;  if(useCachedVersion) {    sReturn = (String)settings.GetAttribute("portlet" + portletID);  } if(null!= sReturn) {    returnsReturn;  } else{    Object m_asOwner = null;    HTMLTableCell myCell = newHTMLTableCell();    IPTSession oSession = (IPTSession)asOwner.GetUserSession();    IPTGadget oGadget = (IPTGadget)oSession.GetGadgets().Open(portletID, false);    Object[][] HTMLText = null; finalString STR_PAGE_ID = "PageID"; intnPageID; INavigationModelRO navModel = (INavigationModelRO)asOwner.GetModel("NavigationModel"); try{      nPageID = navModel.GetCurPageID();    } catch(Exception ex){      nPageID = 0;    } ASURL myASURL = newASURL(asOwner); myASURL.SetLinkGetCachedSpace(asOwner); myASURL.SetControl(className); myASURL.AddControlArgument(STR_PAGE_ID, nPageID); String sHostPageURI = myASURL.GetURLAsString() + LinkConstants.AMPERSAND; try {       IPTState m_objAppDataState = AppDataObject.GetAppDataObject(0, nPageID, sHostPageURI, asOwner);         String[] sHeaders = (String[]) asOwner.GetCurrentFormData().GetElement (HttpUtils.HASHTABLE_CONTROL_KEY_HTTP_HEADERS); if((null!= sHeaders) && (sHeaders.length > 0)) {        m_objAppDataState.Add(AppDataObject.PT_HEADERS_KEY, sHeaders[0], 0, true); } HTMLText = (Object[][]) oGadget.GetHTMLText(m_objAppDataState); // invoke the "UI transformer" function -jas GatewayUtils.AddMarkupToElement(asOwner, oSession, HTMLText, myCell, asOwner.GetString(617, "ptmsgs_portalbrowsingmsgs"), asOwner.GetString(618, "ptmsgs_portalbrowsingmsgs"), 0); } catch(Exception e) {      // don't throw an exception.. just return error string.. it timed out. we'll get it next time       return"<p><b>Error displaying portlet</b></p>";    } sReturn = myCell.GetInnerHTML(); settings.SetAttribute("portlet" + portletID, sReturn ); returnsReturn; }} Here is a simple example of a Scripts file from a simple portlet where the portlet ID is 4123, and the dynamic page is "/favorites/favorites.jsp" (relative to the remote server used for this portlet's web service):
    scripts.jsp:<% // first construct the URL. // For this sample use hardcoded values for portletID, and linkSummaryPage // this would likely come from a configuration file for the navigation scheme int portletID = 4123; String linkSummaryPage = "/favorites/favorites.jsp";%><pt:gatewayLinkname="portletSummaryURL<%= portletID%>"id="portletSummaryURL<%=portletID%>" xmlns:pt= 'http://www.plumtree.com/xmlschemas/ptui/'pt:objectID='<%= portletID%>'pt:href="<%=linkSummaryPage%>" ></pt:gatewayLink> <!-- Div tag to set the http in that has a response. --><div id="getSummaryResponse<%=portletID%>"></div><script> document.PCC.RegisterForWindowEvent("onload", loadPortlet<%=portletID%>); function loadPortlet<%=portletID%>() {    var pageIDElement = null;    var element = document.getElementById('portletSummaryURL<%=portletID%>');    if (element) {      doGet<%=portletID%>(element.href);    } } // Fires the http get request function doGet<%=portletID%>(sPortletURL) {    var getRequest = new PTHTTPGETRequest(sPortletURL, handleGetResponse<%=portletID%>);    getRequest.invoke();   } // handler receives a PTHTTPResponse object as its single argument function handleGetResponse<%=portletID%>(response) {    var element = document.getElementById('getSummaryResponse<%=portletID%>');    element.innerHTML = response.responseText;   } // Include any other scripts that might be used in favorites.jsp here</script> favorites.jsp:
    <% // Here is where you would put code to read the users preferences for favorites // From the EDK%>
    Hope this helps,

    Sorry - my post was meant to imply that I have no idea what
    you are asking
    about. What is galleryconfig.xml?
