TP Precision Wireless mouse vs. Laser Wireless mouse

Hello!
My nerves got totally dead after some time using a cable mouse from Genius. I decided to buy new, wireless one. I have few adepts, two of them belongs under Lenovo brand.
Cheaper: Precision Wireless mouse: http://www.lenovoshop.cz/lenovo-mys-thinkpad-precision-wireless-mouse-1600dpi-cerna-midnight_i566926...
More expensive: Laser Wireless mouse http://shop.lenovo.com/ISS_Static/ww/ag/merchandising/options/images/large/_460_0_0A36188_V1.jpg
Which one would you reconmend? Do you have any experiences with one of them? Materials, noise, build quality? Have you been using both and can you say some pros/cons? Shall I rather choose Logitech? In my country, TP Wireless mouse is almost twice as expensive.
Thank you and best wishes to upcoming New year!

(Please, excuse my bad english, thank you)

Hello
both mice do have similar built quality (both have Thinkpad logo) and both follow same details (click sound, click travel etc.). So it is more about features and functions to decide.
I would personally go with Laser mouse as Laser works on more surfaces and provides better tracking. That's also why it is a bit more expensive than Precision mouse.
Hope this helps.

Wireless Laser Comfort Mouse - Product Number XA965AA#Abb
When I go to the HP Mouse Control Center it says "No device found"
All the basic functions of the mouse work, left / right clicks and scroll but i can not configure any of the other buttons.
I've look up the support for this mouse on the hp site and it's was less than helpful, only gave me the chance to download a quick start up leaflet, very useful!
    Any help anyone?????????

    Hello Guys:
Did any one you go to the control pannel and click on mouse icon and opened it? Mouse Properties click on hardware your mouse that you just installed or connected shoud be listed. Right now you are using HID-compliant mouse. Witch is HP's mouse figuration. See if that works for you. I am not sure but the HP Keyboard may be restricting new mouse setting as well. I do know from my own experience when the keyboard faild do to corrupt software already in keyboard the mouse went as well. That is why HP sends both mouse , keyboard and blue tooth as a repaired set. I  also knew some body here on this forum replace his new store brand mouse and Keyboard as a set. Your mouse should have came with it's own blue tooth device. Try using it along with the one installed for HP's Keyboard see if your mouse works then. frrw

No, nothing will prevent the computer from going to sleep when you close its display except third-party hacks that are designed to do exactly that. I strongly advise against using any of those, as they may interfere with successful entry into clamshell mode (and they carry other downside risks as well). Just wait until the computer is asleep (with its sleep light pulsing), then press any key on the keyboard. It sounds as though your setup is working as it's designed to do.

How can i connect a Wireless Keyboard and a Trust mouse to a brand new Mac mini?

Go to the Bluetooth icon on the menu bar and select "Set Up Bluetooth Device". Follow the wizard.
Alternatively, if you haven't yet unboxed and setup the Mini, you can pair the keyboard to the Mini (and possibly the mouse). However, I would set up with a USB keyboard and mouse and pair the Bluetooth devices afterwards.

  • "how to" question for wireless keyboard and/or wireless Mighty Mouse

I just purchased a wireless keyboard and a wireless Mighty Mouse (yesterday)
and notice I cannot use the calculator 'widget' in my Dock
    1. the number keys on the new keyboard do not activate the corresponding numbers on the widget
    and
    2. the mouse does not activate the widget numbers when I click on them, either
does anyone know if the calculator can work with these 2 new accessories?
(if not, is there another, similar, calculator I can use now..?)
    thank you for your time

    Hello d:
The calculator works just fine with my Apple BT devices. I doubt if the problem is with the devices.
Try deleting the calculator widget from the dashboard (when dashboard is open). Then add it back.

  • Mighty mouse usb and wireless issues with OSX 10.6.1

Since upgrading to OSX 10.6.1 I have experienced intermittent mighty mouse issues with both the USB and wireless mouse. Essentially the mouse works as a pointer. However, I cannot select anything or use the mouse buttons. I need to re-start the machine in order to get it to work properly again. Anyone else had this issue or have suggestions for fixing it?

Pushing the power button briefly on my iMac turns off the display and stops the hard drive running (both my internal and external drive). Pushing it briefly again brings everything back up in about 2 seconds - it's not a full startup. That's why I call it "sleep" - cause that's what it seems to be doing.

  • Does the imac come with a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse?

I am buying an imac tomorrow and I was wondering if I have to pay extra for a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse.

iMac's come with a wireless keyboard and magic mouse, as the standard fare. So you don't need to pay extra for them. I would recommend purchasing rechargable batteries and a charger, as the mouse does chew through batteries.

  • After "sleep" keyboard not responding, mouse is working ok (mouse is wireless, k/board is not)

after "sleep" keyboard not responding, mouse is working ok (mouse is wireless, k/board is not)

Probably a defective keyboard.  I had that problem a few months after I got my Mac Pro.  Apple replaced the keyboard and it has worked fine ever since.

  • Magic Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard with Bootcamp and Win XP Pro 32-bit

Does the Apple Magic Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard work with Boot Camp running Windows XP Pro (32-Bit)... I read something leading me to believe there maybe a problem and you need to use a wired USB mouse/Keyboard.
    Is this true?

Apple Wireless Keyboard is able to work in Boot Camp via Window XP Pro, it's good enough.
but the Magic Mouse, it's not able to work completely in Window XP Pro,
it's just work like a normal bluetooth wireless mouse,
all the Multi-Touch features like scroll, rotate, swipe, pinch and tap click are not gonna work,
even you are configure via the snow leopard, so please be reconsider.

  • Logitech MX610 Laser Cordless Mouse

I have a Logitech MX610 Laser Cordless Mouse and I was wondering how well it will work on an Intel Core Duo/Core Duo 2 Imac with Apple's Drivers or one of these: Steermouse, USB Overdrive or any other mouse driver that works on the Intel Imacs.
Would you please tell me what driver you are using, how to get the driver, price and what mouse functions work; buttons, lights etc.? Are all of the mouse buttons reprogrammable?
Can you run drivers that are 32-bit on a 64-bit Core 2 Duo Imac? And are the drivers stable?
Can you turn off the mouse by the power button on the bottom and leave it for 2 min. and then turn it back on and it will work either immediatly or after 1-5 sec.?

    no help, i'm afraid.
but noticed something similar about two months ago when i bought el cheapo microsoft mouse $18) at staples.
works fine, except that when we "wake up" the mac, SOMETIMES the mouse cursor isn't on the screen.
we have to unplug the mouse USB cable from the keyboard, plug it in again (doesn't matter which USB port we use) and then the mouse cursor shows up.
this problem only happens sometimes, but it's a regular thing.
i have tried shutting down the mac, rebooting. the problem persists.
this began happening after i went to OS 10.4.5, and AFTER i got that new mouse.
    help, ayone?

Any device that Palm manufaturers currently should be able to get the data from the older device.
Although Palm doesn't make handhelds anymore you can get a smartphone and transfer the data over to it without issue.
If you go to the new WebOS you can transfer the data over it just might take a little work.
