TP_STEP_FAILURE " ERROR WHILE APPLYING SAP NW 04 SR1 ABA AND BASIS PATCHES

Hi Freinds!!
..I have completed cinst, dbinst, client copy, jinst, xinst installation for XI 3.0 INSTALLAION ON ABAP + JAVA.
I have first applied PI_BASIS patches and middle of it, it displayed the message that pre-requisite are not met i.e. First SAP_BW , SAP_BASIS, SAP_ABAP  pathces needs to apply.
While applying SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA patches... I'm getting the following error message ...
"  The import was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase IMPORT_PROPER, which the Support Package Manger is unable to resolve without your input..
After you have corrected the cause of the erro, continue with the import by choosing Support
Package > Improt Queue from the initial screen of the Support Package Manager.
The following details help you to analyze the problem :
-Error in phase : IMPORT_PROPER
-Reason for Error : TP_STEP_FAILURE
-Return Code : 0012 "
....So, what could be the cause of the problem ? Do I need to increase table space through brtools command at ora<sid> ?!!
Pl. help....
Many thanks in advance...
-Rupen Patel

Thanks a lot everybody.
Although I had upgraded Kernel Patch Level from 43 to 155, the real cause was, it seems that was maxed out Oracle Table, ..as I found it through ST22 tr code which inturn displayed a logfile which displayed the details of error. I used brtools to extend the tablespace of a table, reapplied the patches thorugh SPAM and it worked out quite smoothly.
Thanks again and Regards,

    HI
    If i remember correct , Installation will ask you for MaxDB user ids , it will give errors latter if you give lengthy user ids ( i think >8 or 9  ) . So try not to give lengty ids also check your host name. Looks like that also too long
    Thanks

  • HCM Interactive forms - operation error while applying usage rights

    Hi!
    We have setup several scenarios using the new HCM Interactive forms on ERP6.0 and EP7.0. The scenarios include things like Transfer, pay change request.
    In 9 out of 10 cases everything thing is working as expected so that the users can complete the forms and the process for their requests but occasionally we are seeing a random error that occurs for any user at any time without any apparent pattern.
    The below is what is seen from the log file

    I am in the processes of raising a message to SAP about this but was wondering if any one else had experienced a similar error or knows what might cause this type of error.
    Thanks

    We had the same problem. The fix is to get a unique ID for every form. Given below
    Instructions to generate unique ID
    1. Modify template
    Edit your template via t-code SFP
    -> goto Layout tab -> Adobe LiveCycle Designer will be started
    -> Goto 'XML source' tab
    in line2, you will find following entry
    <?xfa generator="AdobeLiveCycleDesigner_V8.0_SAP" APIVersion="2.5.8227.0"?>
    <xdp:xdp xmlns:xdp="http://ns.adobe.com/xdp/" timeStamp="2008-09-11T14:
    39:44Z" uuid="4ed773ff-6aeb-483e-a5ec-4af1a138c775">
    from this line, delete uuid="..." part.
    Go back to 'Design view' tab
    Check if layout is not changed.
    Save / activate template
    2. Delete database table entry for table ADS_Licensed_forms
    Schema SAP<SID>DB -> table ADS_LICENSED_FORMS
    (you can delete all table entry from this table)
    3. When you access the forms, they are aitomatically registered in this table.
    Hope this helps.
    Sunil

  • Error while applying new SPAM.

    Hi all,
    I am getting an error while applying new SPAM.
    Error while executing the tp command 'tp CONNECT <SID>..
    tp return code: '0208' , tp message: 'error in transportprofil (param missing, unknown,.' , tp stdout:
    Its totaly newly install application, its for production so there is no TMS configured yet.

    as far as i know, there is no other way to generate a profile. You could write one manually, but it's easier to configure the TMS. It can be a single system TMS for this task, afterwards, you can put your new system in the desired transport domain.
    The profile can be found under usr/sap/trans/bin

  • Error :  While applying the Patch 4440000

    Error :  While applying the Patch 4440000
    FAILED: file igwprop.odf on worker  1 for product igw username IGW.
    When i check the worker log file i got this error
    The sequence IGW_AWARDS_S in the database is defined as:
    MINVALUE = 1 MAXVALUE = 2147483647 INCREMENT BY = 1
    CYCLE = NO ORDER = NO CACHE = 1000
    which should be defined as:
    MINVALUE = 10000 MAXVALUE = 2147483647 INCREMENT BY = 1
    CYCLE = NO ORDER = NO CACHE = 1000
    (Note: The cache value for sequence IGW_AWARDS_S is 20 in the ODF file. The value 1000 is being used instead because this provides better performance when selecting from the sequence.)
    Alter the sequence with :
    Start time for statement below is: Sun Oct 06 2013 22:16:28
    ALTER SEQUENCE IGW.IGW_AWARDS_S MINVALUE 10000

    The following ORACLE error:

    Check the current value of IGW_AWARDS_S sequence and make sure the MINVALUE in the patch (i.e. 10000) is not greater than the current one.

      Policy Map setexp-GBoIP
        Class GBoIP-traffic
          set mpls experimental imposition 4

    PE(config-if)#service-policy input setexp-GBoIP
    QoS-ERROR: Addition/Modification made to policymap setexp-GBoIP and class GBoIP-traffic is not valid, command is rejected
    As well as I have created new clas--map with priority and Bandwidth and applied in output direction, I got the belwo error while applying the Service policy in
    PE(config-if)#service-policy out TEST
    bandwidth command is not supported in output direction for this interface
    PE(config-if)#service-policy output TEST
    priority command is not supported in output direction for this interface
    Any idea why so ?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Check the current value of IGW_AWARDS_S sequence and make sure the MINVALUE in the patch (i.e. 10000) is not greater than the current one.
    OERR: ORA 4007 MINVALUE cannot be made to exceed the current value (Doc ID 19824.1)
    You may also log a SR.

  • Error while applying patch 3384350

    Hi all,
    I'm receiving the following error while apply patch 3384350 (Supply Chain Management Family Pack J 11i.SCM_PF.J) to an 11.5.9 instance.
    from adpatch.log:
    The following Oracle Forms objects did not generate successfully:
    inv forms/US INVTDILT.fmx
    from worker log:
    Compiling package body CHECK_RESERVATIONS_ALLOCATIONS...
    Compilation error on package body CHECK_RESERVATIONS_ALLOCATIONS:
    PL/SQL ERROR 358 at line 12, column 9
    column 'INVENTORY_ITEM_ID' exists in more than one table; use qualifier
    PL/SQL ERROR 0 at line 10, column 2
    SQL Statement ignored
    I have a SR open, but thought I would ask here as well in case anyone else had ran into this issue. There was only 1 direct hit on metalink for this error and it provided no solution and it's bug # link was not accessible to the public.
    thanks in advance,
    -Chad

    PL/SQL ERROR 0 at line 10, column 2
    SQL Statement ignoredA workaround is to precede the column name ('INVENTORY_ITEM_ID') with the table name so that the column reference is unambiguous. Please note that this is only a workaround to fix the issue if you cannot afford waiting to hear back from Oracle support with a proper solution.

    Make sure that no oracle processes are running on windows, stop all services again and use the task manager to kill any oracle process that is running. But first read de README.txt that you have with your patch, there is all the steps you need to follow to perform that installation.
