[TP Transport Mode] Set to 'data_and_acl' by default

Hi,
Is this possible to change the standard customizing that makes 'data' as the default entry for the Transport Mode of newly created Transport Packages ?
Why is this 'data' by default? I don't see much interest for this or am I missing something ??

In previous version there was only one option ( so i guess backwards compatible).
If you really would like to adjust this, find out which portal application takes control for transport. Download it, adjust the default setting (probably in the portalapp.xml) and upload it.
But I would strongly suggest: just click the data_and_acl option. Changing these minor this is not recommended!
Another option is to create a 'template transport package'. If you need a new transport, copy the template, change name / description and add the appropriate objects to it.

No, the 1080p option would re-compress the file as a 1080p H.264/AAC file. This means the compression format may be chaged from its original compression format and that the quality MAY be reduced due to the process of recompression. Basically, it all depends on what the original compression format, settings, and quality were like to begin with. If the original data was in a low compression editing format, then recompressing the data to H.264/AAC should produce a much smaller file with little or no loss in visual quality while recompressing a high compression format may produce little or now change in the file size but noticeably reduce the visual quality. Since "quality" is a highly subjective term, you should really be running your own tests to see which output you prefer rather than asking for opinions from others here.
Also, my question was if I could change the default export settings:
Depends on what you mean by "change" the default settings. The Apple H.264 presets are context adaptive in nature. They are, within certain limits, self-adjusting depending on the video content being transcoded and the specific preset selected. For instance, small target dispay dimensions will produce lower average data rates which means the final file will be smaller but you cannot manually change the frame rate, set key frame frequency, set a/v data rate limits, create custom anamorphic encodes, manually set the profile/level combination, set the entropy mode, etc.

Pretty much it's that easy. You will also have a new interface on the controller after it reboots. The interface will be an AP-Manager. You need to assign this interface an address in the same subnet as the Management interface. After that, you will also need to either set an IP address on the AP's and specify the system name of the primary controller, or setup a DHCP scope for them, and specify the Option 43/60 so the AP can find the controller.

There's some confusion here. Do you mean the code to visit settings/general/restrictions, or the Apple ID and password to deactivate Activation Lock? Here's how to test.
First, go to settings/General/Restrictions. Do you need to enter a 4 digit code? If you do, then connect the phone to your computer and restore the phone from Recovery Mode as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808.
If no code is required to get into Restrictions what you need is the Apple ID and passcode that was used to set Find my iPhone. To verify that this is what is needed go to Settings/iCloud and turn off Find my iPhone. You will be prompted for your Apple ID and passcode. If you don't have them your phone is permanently disabled. You can contact Apple Account Security to prove you are the owner of the Apple ID and get the password reset. Set IE 9 as default

does anyone have a .REG file they can post that will set IE9 as the default browser on Windos 7 (x86) ? GPO's don't see to solve this problem. We have many users with Chrome and Chrome set itself as the default so we want to make sure

If you open IE and change it in the settings or in control panel change the default programs.
So changing the GPO here does not affect the machine? If you run a GPupdate /force what happens?

Why must I set the AD as "default user store " when use Kerberos scheme ???

I am using kerberos scheme to authenticate user by OAM after user logged into the AD domain . It works well when there is only 1 AD domain ,for I can set that AD as the default identity store so that OAM can find user from the store and set the header .
But when there are two totally different AD domains with different users , there will be a question. That is , I can only set one AD domain as the default identity store. So when I use the other AD domain to visit webgate protected resource, OAM notice me the the user/password error. But if the AD user exist in both AD domains, it will be OK, because the user mapping is finished correctly.

It seems OAM must set the AD as "default user store " , and only if so , AD domain users can login to webgate protected resources by kerberos .
So, how can I make 2 AD available together ? Can you kindly give some advice? It will be very appreciated.

Transportation mode from Sea to Air(AFS route determination)?

1. PO is created and the ex-factory date in PO is 19th Dec 2010 and
2. Delivery date in PO is 27th Jan 2011 and now, the transportation mode is by default coming as ZS(Sea) through AFS route determination process.Now, user is trying to change the transportation mode(ME22N txn) from ZS(Sea) to ZA(Air), it does not change always and if it does some time,
3. then the transportation mode will again restores back to ZS but the
4. planed delivery time changes to ZA value thereby causing Inconsistency between transportation mode and its value.

in my customer exit code, i set a default value, eg. 20070530
when the variable screen popup, it display the default value 20070530, i changed it to 20070529, but it doesn't work , it still display the data in 20070530, how can i solve this problem?

IPsec transport mode with IPv6?

I am trying to set up IPsec in a IPv6 environment. However, when I configure "crypto map" I wasn't able to "set peer" to a IPv6 peer address. Why is that?
I used Virtual Tunnel Interface instead of Crypto Map and it worked. But I need to IPsec in transport mode instead of tunnel mode.

I think here is no support for mixed mode which is ipv6 traffic through ipv4 tunnel and vice versa in VTI . Better solution is Gre tunnel.

Switches have a VTP Mode set to "server" can I set them to "Transparent" on a live network?

Currently our cisco 2960 switches at location "B" have a VTP Mode set to “server” I want to change this to “Transparent”
They have VLAN1-default (active) 10.1.10.81; VLAN2-patron(active) 192.168.10.2; VLAN3-vlan0003(suspended) no ipaddress; VLAN4-vlan0004(suspended) 192.168.20.2
I want to delete VLAN3 and VLAN4
The connection between loc "A" and "B" is set to “Static Access VLAN1” I need to change it to “Trunk Nonnegotiate Vlan all” for our vlan2 at loc "B" to work.
Reason for this change, when I added these switches to our network about 6 months ago it brought my network down, Knowing what I know now I think they wrote their settings to all the other switches that were vtp server switches on our network, VLAN3 and 4 were set to active at that time.

Switching from server to transparent vtp mode will not disrupt your network, the existing vlans will still be available, modifications however will need to be executed manually on the transparent mode switches.
If the interfaces between location A and B are configured as access ports, VTP will not work as it is only in effect on trunk links.
Before adding switches to an existing VTP domain, best practise is to configure transparent mode to set the revision number to 0. This way the VLAN database of existing switches will not be altered when connecting the switch.

Kernel based mode setting

Hi,
I've recently come accross the term "Kernel based mode setting", which is for video cards.
As a person who used to enjoy rendering graphics in MS-DOS a long time ago, I've always wondered: Why can't I just go to video mode 13h with the linux kernel and directly plot pixels???
Is that one of the things that will be possible thanks to this kernel based mode setting that will likely arrive some day?
I also read that it turns out to be difficult to make, namely that it works only for some specific NVidia cards and if you're lucky maybe also a few Radeon cards. However, it was already possible in DOS so long ago, and I've seen executables handcrafted in assembly that can still do it now when ran in Windows, so I'd think that there isn't much video card specific about this, or is there?

using 2.6.29-3 and -4 from arch, kms doesn't get enabled when i add i915.modeset=1 to the kernel line (removed vga=792 too). i only get the message that this option is unknown and will be ignored. The system boots up, no mode change, and when X is supposed to start, the screen goes black and i have to power it off the hard way. It's a t60 with the gma945 and i tried with both the driver from testing and git master from a few days ago.
the weird part is that i rebuilt the -3 kernel a week ago myself and the only change i made was enabling kms by default so i don't need the i915.modeset line anymore and with that kernel and otherwise the exact same system, it works perfectly!
mode gets changed, X starts up, vt switching without flickering, all that stuff just works after only enabling CONFIG_DRM_I915_KMS=y. no other changes were made to the config.
any idea why it doesn't work with the provided kernel? and when kms doesn't get activated, why do i get no mode change but X goes black where when i use the provided kernel but don't add i915.modeset=1 the mode doesn't get changed (of course), but X works fine with that kernel too??

ok, i had to add i915.modeset=1 to the kernel line and add both intel_agp and i915 to the MODULES=() in rc.conf. now it works. thanks, brain0.

When I email myself a picture from my iphone 4s, the email is sent from an email account that I don't have set up as the default account. How can I set it up so that the emails are coming from the default account selected in Mail?

Under my mail tab, it shows that I have a specific email account set up as a default account. That is the account I would like for me emails to be sent from. But when I actually send out an email such as a picture, it is being sent from one of my different email accounts that is not set up as the default. How can I change this so that future messages will be sent from the default account? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I have a similar problem: I switched from mac mail to Outlook 2011 as the default client, and want to switch back. Mailto links (eg from browser etc) default to Mail. However, when I try to email a Word document as an attachment, it continues to open Outlook. Outlook has a button in its prefs for making it the default client, but I don't see a way to turn this pref off in either Outlook or in Word.

I understand your emails are printing in landscape. If the issue is only when printing emails, there may be a setting within your email settings to change the print settings.
If all of your programs are printing in landscape, check the print settings on your computer.
