TPC-2106 bluetooth or wireless Lan

1.Could I Add Bluetooth function into the TPC-2106
such as add a usb Bluetooth dongle on the back of the TPC-2106 Usb Port
2. Could I add Wireless Lan function into the TPC-2106
such as add a usb Wireless dongle on the back of the TPC-2106 usb port

I think that what you want to do is possible. But you have to make sure that you have drivers for the device that are compatible with the TPC-2106 (drivers for win CE x.x / I don't know which release is running on the TPC.)
Another solution for WLAN is to place a small router next to the TPC and use it's feature to enable a wireless connexion.

  • N82 V30.0.013 Bluetooth and Wireless LAN problems

I am using an N82, but it looks like there are similar problems with everything using similar firmware. I didn't have any of these problems with the V20 firmware that came with the phone or after the first V20 upgrade I used.
I find that my wireless LAN connections sometimes only let me browse a few pages before I get the "web connection timed out" message. If I change wireless LAN connection (I have two, mostly for testing purposes) I can continue browsing. Of course the same error may happen causing me to switch again. Sometimes it just works. Both have WPA set up and the passwords are clearly correct. If I use Real Player I can typically listen for as long as I like. Sometimes the connection to the server will drop for Real Player but reconnecting will work (don't have to change wireless LAN network). With the web browser it seems like the data connection is dead, not a server timing out - the message appears instantly. I think have seen the same problem once with my 3G connection, but I haven't recreated it. Could be my imagination!
I have never had any problems with IMAP email using either the Nokia client or Profimail on either the wireless LAN connection or 3G. It leads me to believe that there is nothing wrong with the wireless LAN side of things and it may be more to do with the web browser, or perhaps just that the email clients are only talking to one server helps (DNS problems?). Has anyone experienced similar problems with an alternative browser?
I have also found that when I get to work my bluetooth dongle doesn't connect to my phone. If I disable/enable bluetooth on my phone it will connect. I had this problem with my N80 with the first firmware I had on it and the problem went away after an upgrade.
So, it seems that both connections are fixed by turning them off and on again.

Having both routers the same IP address is a little bit confusing, but possible since each router creates it's own subnet and provides full PNAT support. Actiontec DSL modem has to have DHCP enabled since Linksys WAN (not LAN) port should be connected to one of 4 Actiontec LAN ports. Linksys should not have any configuration setup in regards of your WAN account. Just set it to dynamic address. In ohter words:
    1. RJ-11 connect to Actiontec mode/router.
    2. Actiontec modem should be configured to acquire an IP address from Verizon and to provide all authentication info to Verizon.
    3. Actiontec modem should be configured to allow clients to acquire dynamic IP addresses -- DHCP enabled.
    4. Linsys WAN (not LAN!) port should be connected to Actiontec LAN port.
    5. Linksys should be configured to acquire dynamic IP address and no authentifacations.
    6. Configure Linksys to be DHCP enabled or you can use static IP addresss if you want.
    7. Wireless devices would be connected to Linksys and on the way to the Internet addresses would go through double NAT conversions. Any wired device connected to Linksys would have similar  features. Any device connected to Linksys should be able to connect 192.168.1.1 assigned to Linksys, but not to Actiontec.
    8. To be able to connect Linksys and Actiontec would no be able to communicate unless you split 192.168.1.0/24 into smaller subnets and set specific routes in the table. But even you do so you will not be able to access 192.168.1.1 accross subnets boundary.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to replace the certificate of Cisco 2106 wireless LAN controller for CAPWAP ?

I have interested in CAPWAP feature and I download the open capwap project to make Access Controller (AC) and Wireless Terminal Point (WTP). I had built the AC which used PC and WTP which used Atheros AP. The CAPWAP feature work well when I enabled the CAPWAP that used my own AC  and WTP. When I got the Cisco 2106 wireless LAN controller (Cisco WLC), I configured the Cisco WLC to instead my own AC but I got the authorize fail in Cisco WLC side. It seem the Cisco WLC could not recognize the CAPWAP message which sent form my own WTP. I think this issue just need to synchronize the certificate between Cisco WLC and WTP.So I need to replace the Cisco WLC's certificate manually. Does anyone know how to replace the certificate manually with Cisco WLC ?

Unfortunately this Support Community is for Cisco Small Business & Small Business Pro product offerings.  The WLC2106 is a traditional Cisco product.  You can find this type of support on the Cisco NetPro Forum for all traditional Cisco products.

  • G400 Wireless LAN and Bluetooth Drivers

    Hi Sir/Ma'am,
    Good Day,
Apologies for such a noob question. Actually, I was planning to reformat my laptop however, I am getting confused as to why there are 2 drivers for wireless lan and as well as bluetooth drivers (based from the Lenov Drivers site)
    For Wireless Driver:
    Theres a: Intel and b: Atheros,Broadcom,Realtek
    For Bluetooth:
    There's a Intel and b Liteon/Atheros, Broadcom
    Please refer to screenshot.
Just want to clarify, do I need to install both of these drivers or just choose 1 (between the Intel and the Atheros/Broadcom).
    Apologies for the noob question.
    God Bless,
    Thanks

  • Voice over IP Roaming problems between 2 Wireless Lan Controllers.

    Hello,
we have problems with Voice over IP roaming between 2 Wireless Lan Controllers, this problem is not always happening. I have attached the detailed configuration. We are using LWAPP 1242 & WLC 2106 Controllers.
The phones they are using are Siemens Enterprise optiPoint WL2.
Is there maybe something wrong with the configuration our can I try some different settings?
    Regards,
    Jordy Broekhuizen

When a wireless client associates and authenticates to a WLC, it places an entry for that client in its client database. This entry includes the MAC and IP addresses of the client, security context and associations, quality of service (QoS) contexts, the WLAN, and the associated LAP. When a client roams to another LAP associated to the same WLC, it just updates the client database with the new LAP information so that the data can be forwarded appropriately to the client. When a client roams to a LAP associated with a different WLC, either in same or different subnets, it sends the information in the client database to the new WLC. This helps client to retain its IP address across roams and maintain uninterrupted TCP sessions. For more information on roaming in the WLC environment.
For the further description following URL for the WLC may help you

    sudo systemctl start bluetooth
    sudo systemctl enable bluetooth
I connect the bluetooth mouse inside gnome and all was working well until i tried to use the web browser my WiFi card shows as still being connected however the connection is dead.

braz2kuk wrote:@Neburski the Wiki was great for setting up the Wifi and getting the firmware installed however it does not cover this situation which is why i have gone out for help on here to see if anyone has had a similar problem and managed to fix it.
That might be true, but the wiki also has good information to start troubleshooting. Your first posts clearly indicate that you aren't capable of providing meaningful information, whereas the wiki actually shows you how to provide meaningful information. The wiki also points in so many different directions to help with troubleshooting, combine that with some googling and you might actually start understanding the issue. Simultaneously you can keep coming back to this thread to update it with new information which potentially gives your issue more visibility. People here are usually also more helpful if you provide meaningful information instead of having them constantly asking you for needed information. So start by reading the wiki.

  • Activate bluetooth using Wireless Switch?

I'm getting really frustrated now because my laptop seems to have forgotten that a thing called Bluetooth exists. I noticed the bluetooth wasn't working so I tried to install the newest driver but it fails to install saying I need to "Activate bluetooth using Wireless Switch". As far as I can tell this means pressing fn+f2 which turns on/off the wifi and blutooth but this does nothing and besides that is always on.
Next I went to mobility center and found this: .
Bluetooth appears to be on but I still can't connect anything with it or install the latest driver. When I click launch it takes me to my PC settings in which there is nothing about bluetooth. Search bluetooth yields two results: set up a connection or network and turn on or off wireless devices. Under wireless devices there are only two settings, airplane mode and wi-fi. Under Set up a connection everything is related to LAN and Wi-Fi, nothing about bluetooth.
If I go to services.msc I find this:  So bluetooth defintiely exists in some form but for some reason I just can't access it and it can't pick up bluetooth devices. Someone please tell me I'm an idiot and I'm missing something obvious, please I've been at it for an hour.

    Hi,
If you still haven't been able to resolve this, have you tried physically removing the card, deleting all the drivers, etc., rebooting the system, and after that shutting down.  Then physically reinstall the card, either let Windows find the drivers or install them yourself, and see if it straightens out the issue?
You can also check Microsoft's article on troubleshooting bluetooth issues.
Other than that, honestly I'm not sure what you may have missed.  Let me know if you've resolved the issue (and if so, how, so that others with the same problems can find your solution).  If not, like I said, physically remove the card and uninstall the drivers to see what happens.
    Hope this helps.

  • Inbuilt wireless lan K8N diamond?

    Stupid question maybe.
Ive read the manual and stil not sure.
For some reasson I have gotten the impression that the nforce4 sli k8n diamond board is supossed to have built in wireless lan. Does it?
I see in bios a few different things like Ethernet lan, Marvel lan, Mac lan rom etc.
Atm Ive disabled all but one of them.
And the board does have two LAN ports.
With built in wireless I mean that you wouldnt need a wireless router or anything.
Cause the idea I have is that I could get wireless internet to my laptop without buying a wireless router.
The laptop already has built in wireless network adapter.
If the K8N diamond had this, one would think that there should have been an antenna of some kind with the board, but there isnt one.
Then again, the laptop has no antenna either.
What is the idea with the two different lan ports, and what are all those lan things in bios?

The MB info states: "Optional -  802.11g WLAN + Bluetooth dual net PCI Card - NOTE: This card & antenna are only available in some specific area. "
So if you purchased it with 54g then you should have a PCI card that in the Orange PCI slot and a desktop antenna.
Use the MAC Lan - its the nvidia lan (should be the top port) and its driver is included in the nvidia driver pack. Else use the Marvel but you will need to load its driver separately.

  • Satellite L750 - Wireless LAN is Off, no connection to my home WLAN

Hello, I am having some issues with my Satellite L750. It has a wireless adapter called Atheros AR9002WB-1NG, which seems to be acting up.
When I turned my laptop on I noticed it wasn't connected to any networks, so I looked and found it couldn't find any. I checked on my phone (on which I am writing this) and there is my network and many others that are available for connecting, and mine works fine on my phone. I tried resetting the router and nothing happened, and I could still connect on my phone and tablet.
I delved into the wireless software and found something called "ConfigFree". In this I found "Connectivity Doctor". This said that there was an issue with the adapter, and then after further examining I found that it said that "Wireless LAN Off" next to a red image of a switch.
Does anyone know how to turn it back on?

TosHdpAPI.dll belongs to Toshiba Bluetooth stack software
So I recommend reinstalling the Toshiba BT stack in order to fix this!
The Atheros Wlan card seems to support the Bluetooth too.
So to be able to use Wlan and BT you have to install the Atheros WLan driver, Atheros BT filter and Toshiba BT stack

  • Realtek wireless lan driver installation issue

Hi everybody, after buying the notebook HP 15-G208UR I installed Windows 7 64 instead of default Windows 8.1. Then I started to install HP official Windows 7 drivers and all of them worked correctly except of Realtek Wireless Lan RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n. Setup just stops silently after the extraction process. I used different ways of installation, even tried to download drivers from third party websites, it didnt help. With cable internet works fine. And with OEM Windows 8.1 everything worked perfectly.  Could you guys help? Thanks!

I know, but wireless device still doesn`t work. And it`s marked as unknown in the device manager. Yes, I installed bluetooth driver before the wireless lan

  • HP Officejet 6500, Windows XP and 7, wireless LAN security code is not accepted

The security code of my wireless LAN is not accepted by the HP6500A. According to the diagnostic software of HP a code consisting of more than 50 characters is required (the total number of characters can not be identified because the code isgoing on out of the window). The security code of the route consists of 12 characters. Resetting the printer is not solving the problem.
This problem was identified after rinstalling the software after problems with printing: connection with the printer was identified; message: "busy with printing", but no printing result at all.

Security codes can be in ASCII or HEX.  I'm guessing that the diagnostics is reporting HEX and the printer entry is in ASCII.
You can try running the diagnostics SW on the Windows 7 computer.  It might return the key in ASCII.
A good option is to get the password from somewhere other than the diagnostics.  Maybe you stored it somewhere or wrote it down?  Once you get it try to enter from the front panel.
Can I get a little information from you?
    What router brand model?
What security mode are you using (WEP, WPA, WPA2)?
Which model of the 6500 do you have (6500 or 6500a)?
Please mark the post that solves your problem as "Accepted Solution"
Sometimes it takes several posts back and forth to get to a solution - please be patient.

My Bluetooth USB wireless transmitter for my portable BT speakers has quit working.  Preferences says, "The selected device has no output controls", it used to work just fine.  The internal and a pair of wired external speakers work fine.  Can anybody help?

Just tested something and it worked.
If I put the headphones all the way in, the mac recognizes it as a digital output.
But if i don't put it all the way in, it recognizes it as headphones and works perfectly.
    It's probably this crappy headphones.

  • Weird lost access to iMac's desktop via Airport Extreme wireless LAN

This is weird and complicated. I'll try to keep it simple.
    1. Two computers on a wireless LAN via Airport Extreme: G4 Powerbook and 20" G5 iMac. The LAN has worked flawlessly and seamlessly for several years, and except for this ONE anomaly, still does.
    2. When logged-in to the iMac from the Powerbook, all its files and contents show up normally in it's networked-drive window in Finder,
    3. EXCEPT the desktop. And I mean the real desktop which is under my ID under USERS.
    4. Searching the Powerbook from the iMac, however, works just fine and shows all of the Powerbook's contents.
Repairs of Permissions on both computers have accomplished nothing.
There is one other peculiar symptom: there was a .wmv movie file sent me by a friend, and I had a copy of it on the desktops of both computers. It sat there, showed up and ran just fine, until one day something curious happened:
The file would show up in the column-view Finder window of the iMac's desktop when I opened it from the Finder Window, but would, after about a second, disappear!
If I try to import, on the Powerbook, some random file into the iMac's Desktop folder, it appears for a brief second and then the folder once again displays as empty.
I have trashed that wmv file, and yet sometimes its name blinks up on the iMac's desktop list (that is, again, the column view display in the Finder window).
    This is profoundly weird.
Oh, and there's nothing changed or weird about the SHARING settings. Personal File Sharing is enabled on both computers, as is Printer Sharing, and itunes music sharing is also enabled. All of these continue to work just fine. Firewall is enabled, but always has been.
    Owen

Well, when in doubt try all the obvious things FIRST!
I rank Disk Utility from the install disk, did a disk repair, and, well, Bob's your uncle, and all is fine again. Apparently that ghost file screwed up the count of files (I'm not sure what that means, but it seems consistent with a file that would materialize and then disappear, and screw up display of a folder's contents - the folder it was lurking-in invisibly.
    Very peculiar, none the less.
    Owen
I'll leave this open for another day, if only to see if someone has an explanation for what may have happened, since that might be useful to others, besides satisfying my own curiosity.

  • Remote System Explorer on a Wireless LAN

On a wireless LAN when I use Remote System Explorer, it knocks our Fieldpoint network modules off-line. We are unable to ping them. Once we restart the units, they work fine until someone uses the Remote System Explorer again. Any ideas?

We have FP1600s and FP2015s. It only affects certain FP1600s. Firmware revision is 3.0 on the 1600s. Some older ones are not affected and some newer ones are. We configure them in the shop on a LAN, then move them to a field environment. The only firewall is point of entry onto the post.
When using Remote System Explorer (the latest and greatest version), one at a time is "knocked off line". Every time Remote System Explorer refreshes another 1600 is knocked off line. I see no relevance to a crossover cable. This occurs over a WLAN. If we don't use Remote System Explorer then they just chug along fine.
I have used the FP1600 Diagnostic Utility which was a mistake. Now the status LEDs blinks red 7 times.
