TPVS - Change mileage in /sapapo/vs01.

Hello,
I have a requirement to change the mileage within the shipment in the following 3 tabs: tabular planning, details, and geographical overview.
I have tried using BADI /SAPAPO/VS_OPT_PREP but the value always reverts back to the value on the transportation lane.
Is there a way to override these 3 distance values through a BADI, user exit, or enhancement?
I was able to make a change in debugger which changed the shipment ( /SAPAPO/VS_LCMAP ) but this value doesn't get pulled back into vehicle scheduling once I bakc out and return to /SAPAPO/VS01.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Dear Ashok,
For setting Map Display in TP/VS you have to do following steps
1) Setting GIS Server - Establish TCPIP connection to Server in SM59. Note that each server is connected to different set of Map (such as US, UK, etc.) If you plan to use multiple maps, the you should set up appropriate connections
2) Run report ZBMIGS_RFC_DEST for the user you want to dsiplay map
3) In SPRO, activate GIS Usage 'Activate GIS Roadmap' for the user.
4) Set Usage of GIS tool in Tr. Lane
5) You can run report GRAPHICS_GIS_VIEW_DEMo to test it.
Now you should be able to view Maps in VS01.

   I want to change the labels in /sapapo/sdp94 for the same i found an exit EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLMCP2_006 (APODM006).

Hello, make sure you activated the user-exits properly. Then you set a BP at FM /SAPAPO/MC_PERDY_GET in SE37 in below coding:

Source location incorrect for POs in /SAPAPO/VS01

Our POs have the following partner functions:
PI Invoicing Party
GS Goods supplier
VN Vendor
Right now the source location shows VN.But since goods ship from GS and not from VN , the source location must show GS in transaction /SAPAPO/VS01.
Do you know how I coould achieve this?

We were also working on a similar requirement , but got stuck because we were not able to bring over the vendor partner functions from R/3 to APO. Actually when you maintain partner functions in a vendor location and CIF it over to APO you would expect the partner function details to appear in the location master in APO. But that does not happen . Not sure why.
Also one more thing i noticed is that there is a field called vendor subrange in the vendor - location transportaion lane , but then that also does not get populated. May be an OSS message is required to solve the problem

Changing Mileage "Currency Exchange" Rate in Expense

I've recently upgraded to Palm Desktop 4.1.4 which removed Expense from my programs... although I found it in the Palm Desktop program! (I use MS Outlook).
The old version would download to the Sample1 MS Excel sheet, which is my preference, if possible. I'm no Excel guru, so I can't figure that out.
Anyway, Palm Desktop Expense has the default for expense mileage at $1 per mile. I wish I got that! I have been unable to change that exchange rate to the .40 going rate. I've been all over the palmOne site looking for help.

I found the answer... and you're right, I don't think the techs read this forum.. mostly because having talked to them a couple of times on the phone, I'm not sure they can read english.
Besides, with the sale of palm now, I doubt the Palm really gives a too hoots about the users anyway...
So, to answer the question:
In Palm Desktop 4.1, (yes, the last version from the most recent) you would select mileage in your palm and enter the data...
Then when sync'ing, in Expense, you'd click on the entry and then go to the bottom to the conversion icon (looks like 3 stacks of coins) next to the total...
Then you could click on "Adjust Currency Rates" and another pop-up would appear allowing you to adjust $1 = mi _____
Apparently this is broken in 4.1.4.

/sapapo/vs01- Adding a feild to Output Dispaly

Hi,
I have appended a field to the displaying structure:/SAPAPO/VSR_G_FUNIT,which displays the orders.
I tried to change the filed catalog for that structure by deleting the indicator for NO_OUT = space & TECH = X, i made same as all other fields properties.
But im not able to display in the output.

Changing layout in /SAPAPO/OM16

Hello All,
I wanted to use the report /SAPAPO/OM16 to find out the planned orders without source of supply.
But here after excuting the report in the output I wanted to change the layout of the output. This can be done but there is no way I can save the layout.
There is option of saying the layout, but it is not working.
If anybody is aware, please let me know the same.

Undesired sales orders merging in VSR optimization (/SAPAPO/VS01)

Hi there folks
I setup split rules, cost profile.
One problem I'm facing is that sales orders with same "Material Availability Date", same "Source Location",same "Destination Location" are being merged into one shipment though the capacity of the resource is much less than order weight. How do I prevent merges in VSR optimization?

first check if zone to zone T lanes is maintained in apo or not.i mean shiping point to shipping point.
if zone to zone lanes is not there it will make seperate order for from location of destination even if the utilization is low.
then check resource capacity res01. i am sure it issue will get resolved.

Log changes in /SAPAPO/MAT1 - Product

Hello,
anyone knows if there is a modification log for product master data in SCM for changes done in /SAPAPO/MAT1 - Product ?
We have CIF to create and update product master data from R3 to scm but we have field Forward Consumption Periodo changed and it is ok in R3 so It must have been changed directy in SCM.
Is there any way to see changes in this system?

Teresa,
It is possible - if change document logging is turned on. In SCM, the system is delivered with the logging turned off. You must explicitly turn it on in order to be able to review changes.
Product master changes can be reviewed in transaction /SAPAPO/PROD_CD_READ. Do not leave product or location blank, use asterisk instead for 'wild card'.
If nothing is found, then logging is not turned on. You can confirm by looking at table CDHDR, where the change data is stored.
To turn change recording 'on', IMG > APO > Master Data > Product > Activate change documents.

TPVS: Optimization Profiles

Dear Gurus,
I'd like to ask your help again.
I am creating the optimization profiles and facing problems.
I have ciffed about 20.000 customers and 10.000 suppliers to APO and now I need to plan shipments to all these locations.
Scenario:
10 shipping points
Outbound and Inbound deliveries for all shipping points.
All customers are source and target.
Problems:
1) open /SAPAPO/VS_OPT2 is extremely slow. For reading all data take a long time.
2) open /SAPAPO/VS01 is again extremely slow.
How can I solve the performance problem for this situation?

The performance depends on many things
1) Your server architecture
2) Number of Freight units being read at a time
3) Any split rules getting applied on the freight units (large data will further deteriorate the performance as freight units gets recreated during split)
4) Any incorrectly designed ABAP development (generally freight unit enhancements
I suggest you check following
1) Try disabling Freight unit ABAP development is any to see any performance improvement
2) Change the split size to form less number of freight units
3) Try splitting optimizer profile to limit input freight units being read at a time

Hi ...i want to view the list of shipment created in TPVS ,at table level .I have tried with table /SAPAPO/VS_LCMAP and /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP, ,but not sucessful .
The some of shipments shown in table /SAPAPO/VS_LCMAP not able to see in transaction SAPAPO/VS01.

If DEL FLAG field is set then you will not see the shipment present in /SAPAPO/VS_LCMAP in transaction /SAPAPO/VS01.
Also hope that you are using correct Optimization profile.

TPVS: Inbound Deliveries

Dear experts,
I am facing a problem that I could not easily identify which customizing I am missing.
I am creating Inbound Deliveries from Purchase Orders and these Deliveries are not appearing in my SCM-APO.
Looking into the /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP table and I can find the Purchase Order.
After creating the Inbound Delivery by using VL31n, it is not being transferred to SCM-APO.
I searched in /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP and it is not there.
It works fine with Stock Transfer and Sales Orders (outbound deliveries), where I can see both documents.
Is there any special configuration that I have to make to get these Inbound Deliveries?

I can see the ATP category (AH) foreach inbound delivery that I created.
But now I am facing another problem.
In the Non-Assigned Freight Unit in Tabular planning (/SAPAPO/VS01), all inbound deliveries that I've created in R/3 are being grouped in just one line, increasing (adding 1) in the Shedulling Lines Column.
For example:
PO: 1000001 / 10.000 kg
VL31n:
Inbound Delivery A: 100kg / 07.15.2010
Inbound Delivery B: 200kg / 07.16.2010
In TP/VS - Non Freight Unit view:
Freight Number   Category   Amb Shed Lines Weight

But, instead of this behavior I would like to see:

I´ve created a split rules for purchase order, this split rules ID is ok. But, when a I created the deliveries inbound from APO are being gruped in one line.
I don´t know how I can configure the split rule of ATP Categories "AH".

CIF: Filtering Deliveries from TPVS

Dear experts,
Is it possible to filter Deliveries from my planning book in /SAPAPO/VS01.
I have implemented a source code to exclude Sales Documents from my Integration Model, but Deliveries are going to my Non-Assigned Freight Units in Planning Book.
I thought that excluding Sales Orders by implementing EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_SLS_001 I also would exclude their Deliveries, but did not work.
How can I filter both sales order and deliveries?
I want to exclude deliveries that were created by these Sales Orders filtered in Exit.

Delivery day at customer are changing very often

Hello,
In our case for customer collaboration SNC5.1, the customer can receive the products on Tuesday and friday so we have assigned the time stream calendar according to this.
Our requirement is such that sometimes customer wants the products to be shipped only on Thursday.
so do we need to make another time stream ca;endar and assign it to location.
Is there any way to tackle this scenario.

You can manually change the periods in your shipping calendar, the fixed check box will not allow any automatic changes to the manually changed periods
