TR marked with processed indicator by system automatically

Hi,
I have an issue where in the system marks a TR with the processed indicator when in reality only TO is created with partial quantity. So now when we try to create TO for the balance quantity, it will not allow. So we have to manually take the TR in change mode and uncheck the processed indicator in the TR.
From what i understand the system sets this indicator automatically only when the TO quantity is the same as the TR quantity, or we have to change it manually. But in our case neither of the above situation is there. Still the TR is marked as fully processed.
This is not a very common problem. It shows up sometimes. Has anyone faced this issue earlier?

Yes it is a putaway process. The materials are scanned and when the pre-determined pallet quantity is reached the material document is posted. Now the warehouse person selects an option in his handheld device to transfer the physical location of the material from the production floor to the warehouse bin . The only option the user has is to input the bin location number. So he enters the bin location number and the TO is created in the background. This is the normal process. In some cases we only post half the quantity to the bin location, and the other half is remaining in the GR area. Now when we try to transfer the location of the balance quantity it throws an error. On checking we came to understand that the TR is marked as fully processed. So we have to manually change the indicator to transfer the balance material to the respective bin locations.

Dear Fapreeth,
For getting the list of document marked with deletion indicator you can goto Tcode "cv04n" there keep all other searching criteria empty just specify criteria for deletion indicator as "X W. Del.Ind." you can use <F4> to select that value.... than execute the search and you will receive list of documents with active deletion indicator...

Copy, count files, test path, process indicator and System.IO.FileInfo

I found this, sctipt, that I try to re-write.
As it is, it creates sub folders in the targetfolder, which I found out how to stop it from, by deleting the "\" backslash sign in line 9.
But what I also want is that subfolders if such should exist, also gets copied from $source to $target folder, as of now this doesn't happen. Reason why I chose to try to re-write the script is basically, I can read what it does and I like all the flashy
Things like counting and that it shows the percentage of the processbar AND the processbar :).
I just don't now how to re-write it proberly. By the way nothing should be re-named in the targetfolder every thing from sourcefolder should be "as is" in the sourcefolder.

SMSY define ERP system with Process Integration instance

Hello,
We have connected new installed ERP system (ERP 6.0 EHP3) to central SLD (SAP SM EHP1).
But we can see the strange situation.
SMSY define automatically this ERP system as the system with Process Integration instance but not ECC Server instance.
We have not installed Usage Type PI in the ERP system.
Also we have old ERP system in SLD. It is visible as SAP ERP system with ECC Server instance.
What is the strange behaviour of SMSY? What should we do and how can we correct this definition in SMSY?

Automatically find missing songs marked with !

Have two user profiles on our iMac (my wife can't use left/right-clicks, I can't live without them). The iTunes libray on both is mapped to the same shared external drive.
While the iTunes in my user profile can find all songs, the iTunes in my wife's user profile has nearly 2,000 songs it can't find. I am able to fix the link.. ..one.. ..at.. ..a.. ..time.. ..by locating the song in the Music folder on the shared drive. The problem seems to be that the song name has a prefix double-digit number corresponding to the order that it is played on the associated album - so the.. ..one.. ..at.. ..a.. ..time.. ..fix is very systematic. I've wittled it down to 1,700.
I'm looking for an automatic process. Can you help?

I am totally lost without having you provide a detailed description of exactly how you moved your files to produce all this. To start with, I have no idea how many real library entries you have and how many of this 45,000 are dead.
Tracks marked with a ! are dead. iTunes does not look directly at your files. It keeps a separate library listing of what tracks you have and what they are called, then a reference pointer to a file on your computer. A dead link is a track entry that has an invalid file entry. This is common when libraries are not moved correctly, especially between drives. You can, for example, have a library carry over, a link gets broken, you add the file again and it gets entered a second time. The first entry with the ! is broken and doing nothing, the second is real.

BIOS recovery process for HP systems with AMI BIOS?

Hi,
I'm trying to fix an HP a6718uk model PC which has an M2N78-LA motherboard and (I think) and AMI BIOS. A BIOS update that came through HP Update has failed, and the machine will not boot.
As it's out of warranty the HP Repair Centre want £200.00 to fix it, even though a simple BIOS recovery process should be sufficient - does anyone know the BIOS recovery process for these systems? Everything I've read (not specific to these boards) says you should be able to put a BIOS update (called AMIBOOT.ROM) on either a floppy, CD, or USB memory stick, and boot holding down Ctrl-Home and it will perform the recovery, but I've not been able to get this to work successfully. HP don't supply a standalone update so I've extracted the file from the BIOS update SP.exe on the HP support site.
Any help would be most appreciated!

Brilliant idea - I tried AMIBOOT.BIN and that didn't work, but then took the Hex Editor to the file - it's HPBIOS.ROM
Renamed the file to HPBIOS.ROM and all now works.
To recap for anyone reading the thread, this was from an HP machine with a corrupt AMI BIOS, to get it back, extract the ROM file from the SP.exe file from the HP website, rename it from VLE5.22 (or whatever the file is that ends in a numeric) to HPBIOS.ROM and copy onto a floppy diskette. Put the floppy in the internal diskette drive (in my case a Sony OEM drive attached using a grey floppy ribbon cable) and boot the machine. You may need to hold down Ctrl-Home, but not 100% sure. After a long while the machine will give 4 or 5 beeps, and reset itself. Once it's done that it will boot normally.

BW Authorizations - Query variable with processing mode as "customer exit"

Iam new to BW authorizations and have not yet worked on customer exit before. I was going through the documentation at various sites but I could not get the end to end description on how the query process( when using a variable for an InfoObject) works in case of customer exit.
Let's assume that I am using a query variable with processing mode as "customer exit" and at the exit I write some code to extract user's authorizations from a z table. if this is the case, then when an end user runs a query,how will the the system know what value needs to be filled in the variable for the requesting user. Are the user details also sent to the code along with the query variable? If so how. If I mis-understood the process then forgive me and let me know the correct process.

customer exit variables need programing by user. so if you create a customer exit variable, you got to right a program which extracts values into this variable. we can do what ever we want in program, SAP will not deal anything ´with customer exits.

Unused stored procedure parameters marked with a check mark in crystal reports

I have some Crystal Reports that currently use stored procedures as their datasources (I am in the process of modifying them to use datasets instead). Some of the original reports have check marks next to stored procedure parameters which I cannot find as being used anywhere in the report. Is this a legitimate possibility? (Some of them do not have check marks, however, so it is not consistent.)
More Info: I am using Crystal Reports within Visual Studio 2005. I have looked through each report in every way I can think of to find if a parameter field is being used anywhere - I have checked all formula fields, the formatting formulas for sections and individual fields, the record and group selection formulas and the grouping and sorting experts, along with any subreports (although some of them have no subreports).
(I have read on other forums that exporting a report definition file is another way to look for where fields or parameters are being used, but this does not appear possible within Visual Studio 2005.)
In some cases, I have gone ahead and replaced the stored procedure datasource location with a dataset (generated based on the same stored procedure). When I do this, Crystal automatically deletes the stored procedure parameters from the report, and I have still been able to run the modified report successfully - at least it looks ok and nothing is complaining. So is it possible that these parameters were actually not being used anywhere on the report although they were marked with a check mark?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I want to make sure I am not changing the function of these reports somehow without knowing it...

Are you referencing another database that Crystal can't see? Also, you can try and copy the SQL to a command object in Crystal to see if it behaves differently there.

Mark a Process Red in Process Chain

Hello,
There is an ABAP Process in my process chain which triggers a background job in R/3(asynchronous).
After successful completion of job I mark the process as success thru RFC from R/3 using FM RSPC_ABAP_FINISH
But suppose if my background job in R/3 Fails, it remains in yellow in BW (as RSPC_ABAP_FINISH dosen't get triggered)
So if my bgd job fails I want to make the process red in BW, how can this be done.
Is there any FM to mark a process RED as RSPC_ABAP_Finish is to make a process green?

I set up the "error path" with a repeat step. However, the error path is not executed.
The system always notifies a Termination but the process step (ABAP) in the process chain did not get this status...
The analysis of chain ZXY showed that
process Z_ABAP SEL_DEL1 was cancelled.
However, the process has a metachain or successors that
should be executed when there are errors. Run
4ND9Q5ZEDUMN61SPC043FDBTN did not finish due to termination.
If a metachain exists, it was not informed about the error.
Should run of chain ZDEL and possible
metachain be continued
Is this a system setting? Or what is going on? The chain where the error path is setup is called by another chain.

I have 3rd party software wirelessly injected and used on my iphone with a cryptographic authentication system without my consent (seems to be new technology developed by stanford and apple security is not updated for this technology) obtaining ownership of my iPhone 4s software and controlling it with remote device to jail breaking my phone, adding and removing software, changing settings all from a remotely controled device from different location (I have a Mac address I'd of this device to know for sure). Almost undetectable. When I look at the legal section of my phone it shows a list of all the unauthorized 3rd party software "as is" copyright encrypted on the phone. This is the most basic way to legally steal software of any kind. Because of this legalality 3rd party ownership have total control of certain software correlated with hardware use including visualization technology, etc. most people luckily will never have this happen to them so it's unlikely many readers have not a clue of what I'm saying currently. Either way, without needing to obtain specific warranty of any kind "as is" copyright control makes system restores not a solution because the source code is not directly encrypted on the actual hardware device only a copy right notice must appear on the specific device 3rd party software validation making it extremely difficult for me to take control of the situation. Apple claims their iOS technology prevents this type copyright obstruction from being possible, however, according to my phone a new form of technology was used developed by Tom wu of Stanford university called the STANFORD SRP AUTHENTICATION TECHNOLOGY which uses Some form of cryptographic authentication system and uses quote "secure remote password" which seems to suceed in hacking iOS apple technology apple claims is not possible to jailbreak an unstolen phone or without the owners consent As well as loading the device with 3rd party copyright Notices to make all of this legalized. My phone shows atleast 30 pages worth of legalized 3rd party copyright permissions! Yesterday my apple care provider labeled me a jailbreaker and refused to look at my legal documented proof which completely blew my mind because it voides my apple care contract I spent 100 on. This employee did not take all factors into consideration and made quick assumptions as well as verbally speaking to me as I'm an automatic criminal. I left the store yesterday with no payed insurance help on a problem I had no control over and couldn't prevent, leaving with voided contracts. This is an apple users worst nightmare and I have spent days researching all of this like i am some kind of lawyer only to be able to use my phone the way it should and spent alot of money on. I can legally backup any claim I have just wrote above currently and have a large source of data collected to prove apple is wrong in voiding insurance support on this issue. The problem lies in apple avoiding and not wanting to believe their software can legally be obtained ot "hacked". Yet still labeled a jailbreaker basically.. What should I do????? Been to local apple store 3 times and rebooted my phone as well sprint service restore 4 times and spoke with reps twiice on the phone. Spoke with my phone provider who said apple has full control over these matters so they can't help me. My case is according to apple "still open"...Anyone else heard of this or of Stanford's office of technology licensing? Maybe I need to buy a blackberry again or just use a landline so I can stop being my own lawyer and focus on other productive areas in life instead of this horrible mess. I shouldn't have to prove to apple I not a jailbreaker they should have to prove I'm one before voiding support I desperately need!!

Yes, Tom Wu of Stanford wrote a paper on something called Secure Remote Access Protocol. It's a form of Asymetric Key Exchange and has nothing to do with hacking anything. It's actually intended to protect data.

HT4718 I have nothing on my Mcintosh HD after trying to install Mavericks. I did save a recovery copy of files however this was also lost. All I now have is a file with a question mark with nothing else happening. What should I do?

Apple recently sent a message asking me if I would like to upgrade to Mavericks which was free. I considered installing after saving a copy of my HD to a WD external drive. I proceeded with the instalation however when it was time to reboot the programme the computer displayed a message that it could not process the request due to errors with the hard drive. The computer then requested that i save a copy and the verify disk and repair disk which i followed and the computer would not repair due to an error. At which pioint I did some research and was told by the IMac to push shift when it starts to enter disk utility and repair the Mcintosh HD. I did as asked however the computer would still not install with Mavericks.
So after many attempts of trying to start over, I was prompted to erase the Mcintosh HD and reboot using the saved copy. At this point all data was lost and all that is left on my computer is a file with a question mark with no way of restoring the HD drive. Could anyone help please?

It sounds like your HD may have died.
If you could answer a few questions it may help figure out what you should do next:
What OS did you have on your computer before you tried to upgrade to mavericks?
Did your computer originally come with installer disks?

How is it possible that i can play music marked with the cloud icon in the music app when i'm not subscribing to itunes match?

When I'm on the same WiFi network as the computer I sync my iPhone to, I can se a lot of songs in my music app marked with the little cloud icon. And when I leave the network, I can see only the songs with this icon that I have played and therefore probably cached.
Where can I read more about this function and get to know it better?
It seems to work like iTunes Match, only limited to 'local' use. I'm not an iTunes Match subscriber, but I have the 'Show all music' setting enabled.
It's a cool function, both it's a bit annoying that i uses up my available storagecapacity. I keep getting warnings that my storage is almost full.
Does the cached music automatically dissapear since i haven't added it while syncing?
