Bootcamp, running into multiple issues....

As a little bit of backstory, I bought a MacBook (late 2009 edition with Snow Leopard) because I was having issues with my old Windows XP PC desktop, which was invaded with trojans and viruses. I had to delete everything, start up from scratch and wipe the disc clean. Not pleasant.
In the summer of 2010 I was convinced to buy a Macbook because it didn't need to be checked quite as often as a PC computer. I was astounded by the speed in which it booted up since I never had a custom built PC that contained optimized performance. Mostly however I had only used the Macbook as a means of searching the web and to use it to complete college assignments.
It wasn't until last year that I decided I wanted to get Windows onto my Mac, but being unemployed and with no job, it was simply not an option, because I needed to get bills done on time. Fast forward to this year, and after months of frantic job searching I finally landed a job. Now with a steady income coming in I felt it was time to get Windows onto my Mac.
Sadly it's easier said than done. I wasn't even aware of Mountain Lion and Mavericks until later this year, but I realized that upgrading to those systems required more than a simple DVD disk. Since then it's been a obstacle course, and while I've done a lot of research on bootcamp files for the various Mac versions, there is still lots I don't know about. Which leads me to this problem.
Since my Macintosh HD drive only holds 250 GB, I felt it was needed to get rid of some used space. After deleting various games that were left untouched the last couple of years, I have 150 GB of free space. Problem is, I cannot partition. Why? Because some OS X files cannot be moved.
So I bought a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit disk off of Amazon, and when I realized I needed a Snow Leopard installation disk, I bought that too. I now just spend between $140-150 in software, which isn't too bad I guess. Turns out that the Macintosh HD drive was corrupt, so I restarted the Macbook using the Mac OS X installation disc to access Disk Utility. After verifying and repairing disk (I got the confirmation from the green text), I assumed I can partition. Nope. Same issue pops up. So I realized I needed to get rid of free space, so I run Disk Utility off of the operation system and used the delete free space (zero) option. After a hour it's finished. Make another attempt at partitioning. Failed.
Now I don't know what to do. The steps involved require an external drive and an internal drive, along with a program named Carbon Copy Cleaner (CCC). So what am I supposed to do? There are options to unmount and make new disc images on Disk Utility, do I just run that and go from there? I'm very confused at the moment.

This would of been nice if I had known all of this before I even attempted to make a partition, so now I need an external hard drive to get past the problem of the Mac OS X files not moving. I thought I only needed a Mac installation disc and the Windows 7 install disc but it turns out I was wrong.
As for external hard drives, Seagate Backup Plus (1 TB) looks pretty good, that's more than enough to make a backup. I spent the past few days doing a lot of research on bootcamp. Since the Mac installation disc is actually 10.6.3, I may still have to have the bootcamp drivers (versions 3.1-3.3) to install onto the Windows partition, along with Apple Software update so the features actually work with Windows.
Very frustrating, costing me over $210 just to try to partition, if this doesn't work then I know it's a bad hard drive. Probably will have to take the Macbook in to an Apple store and have them look at it. The external hard drive itself will be good purely for backup. I have to wonder if all this is simply worth the trouble, considering I've toyed with emulators in the past, which tend to fail on occasion.
Repaired disc, erased free space in disc utility, etc. So I guess I have to wait.

Oracle plsql stored procedure

I want to write a procedure in which IN parameter will be a query [e.g. select * from employee] & I want to store the result of the query into OUT parameter...

Questions that need to answers directly from the manual? That is pretty useless as it is easy to use manuals as reference material and no-one memorises the entire manual. Simple example. A question about the syntax for a partition exchange (ALTER TABLE) is silly.. whereas a question about where, when and why you would use a partition exchange is critical. The former you can look up in the manual at anytime when coding partition exchanges. The latter is a skill that requires understanding Oracle concepts and correctly applying these.
Remember this when you go for interviews. I realise one cannot always wait and choose the perfect job - but be careful landing in a job position where you will not grow your skills and knowledge because of an environment that values "+syntax knowledge+" higher than understanding and applying software engineering fundamentals and concepts.

Habe mit Adobe CS5 Cleaner Tool mein CS4 deinstalliert. Aber das Programm ignoriert das Dreamweaver...!! Weiss jemand einen Rat wie ich das auch löschen kann?

Wenn man besonders gründlich sein will, öffnet man in seinem Benutzerordner den Ordner Library > Preferences und sucht dort nach Dateien oder Ordnern, die augenscheinlich zu dem gelöschten Programm gehören. Die wirft man ebenfalls weg.

Landing in SAP SD job

Hello Guys,
I'm SAP Certified in SD, and also have experience working in SAP for about 5 years in the entire Order to Cash cycle.
I'm facing difficulty in landing a job, as employers expect project experience working as a functional consultant. It's going to be a year since I got certified and yet to get a call for an interview. I'm very passionate towards SAP. But the market had been very demotivating.
I'm being told to add fake experiences. Not sure if that's the way.

now a days who are SAP consultants are learning multiple skills apart from their core module to compete with latest skills in the market.
do you know one thing all the SAP consultants will be very PASSIONATE for achieveing thier targets and learning multiple skills.
even in this competitive market even know you have CHANCE to crack a job in SAP.

For the first few months and depending on the amount of customers you support, expect a decent size learning curve in becoming familiar with their tech. Also expect that the customers will take some time to get used to you, especially if they are used to dealing with the other staff members. So I'm waiting on an offer letter for a smallish (20+ employees) MSP that's been around for 30 years if you can believe it. I'm really excited about the job. They seem to be a more high-touch, boutique-y type outfit. Apparently they have no sales staff and rely 100% on word of mouth. I'm not sure how many clients they have but most of them have been with them for years. Alles in ITunes schein ordentlich zu funktionieren.
Nur das Update geht nicht. Die Update msi-Datei wird korrekt geladen.
Wenn die Datei gestartet werden soll funktioniert es nicht.
Auch ein kompletter Download von Itunes und dann der versuch einer Neuinstallation führt zu dem gleichen Ergebnis.

Generate the error message again. While the error message box is open, hold down the Alt key and hit the PrtSc key. Paste the screenshot into an image file (using a program like Paint), and save the file.

You can't directly, as scheduled jobs can only export to server-side data stores, which can only write to the landing area. You'll need to use an external script (e.g. batch file) to move the file from the landingarea after export. You can use an external task in the scheduled job to invoke the script.

C# console app - print job vanishes in Windows 8 regardless of print driver used; works in Windows 7

I have the following which sends a print file to a specific printer. It works perfectly in Windows 7, but not in Windows 8. The print job shows in the print queue until the print job is closed. Then the print job literally vanishes from the print
queue. This issue occurs with all print drivers, including generic text only. Conversely, I can still use the "winspool.drv" DLL directly under Windows 8 and it works. Please advise. Thank you.

I have been facing the same problem until right now. All above suggested methods failed (as it did for Jeff0123) . But after long research on that issue I think I found the reason (but no proper solution yet).
MS Windows 8 and 2012 use a new printer driver generation based on XPS. Which means drivers like "generic text-only" won't work properly depending on the method the data is sent to the printer. In my case the
same way like Jeff0123 tried to access the printers.

One solution might be to use API calls. I have also found a site which shows an example project for thermal slip printing. The VB.NET source code there features a wrapper class for all API calls. The functions you find behave pretty similar to the ones of
the posted C# code example of Jeff0123. I did a small test so far and for my needs that works fine.
Although the page is in German you can find the mentioned class by searching for "Public

If your batch job is creating a file in SAP and sending it to another system. These are some things you could do, if you have tools and resources available.
1) When the job ( SAP program ) runs to create the file, ensure there is no file already existing in the landing zone ( AL11), if it does then do not over write, just throw an error, because the last file created did not leave the landing zone, because the other system or middle were did not pick it up. Usually when the middleware or third party system picks up your file from the landing zone, it may delete the file, so next time fresh file can be picked up. It is always good to have date and time stamp on the file that you create on the landing zone, so we could uniquely track which files were creates, when it was created and transmitted.
2) Lets say your job created the file in the landing zone, the FTP program or what ever service or tool that you use to pick the file, if it is running as per design, then it should pick it up, if not you need to see why it is not running, usually the FTP softwars like GIS will throw an error if no file is found, and we could track them.
I am sure there are many other ways to handle if the file really left the landing zone or not. Something to think about. thanks

hi, i tried here to process events with 2 jobs... surprisingly i had to call dbms_lock.sleep(1) to be able to enqueue events
at inserts in a row ... even more surprisingly the enqueuing doesn't function if the processing (prc_evsched) lasts some seconds...
how must the code be changed to be able to enqueue all events after the inserts without any sleep()?
and how must the code be changed to be able to enqueue all events with a proc (prc_evsched) running longer?

now i have a follow-up question:
i've got a procedure, that runs between 1 and 2 minutes long. unlimited running lightweight jobs
would freeze the db...
how can the count of the parallel running lightweight-jobs be limited?
according to the documentation it is not possible:
There is no explicit limit to the number of lightweight jobs that can run simultaneously to process multiple instances of the event.
However, limitations may be imposed by available system resources.
could you explain to me, what it (...available system recources...) means?
eventually what i would like to have: max. two parallel running (lightweight) jobs....

Variable Address-URL in Job Scheduler

I am using OATS 9.0 and cant solve this problem:
Its possible to insert a parameter for the address-value (Looks like this: <<url>>) in eTester from an .csv-File. When i wants to change the URL i only have to chance the csv file.
But how can i get this in JobScheduler? I have an job including 2 Scripts. first Script has the <<url>>-parameter.
Second script in the Job, should use the same <<url>> parameter like the first script. But i don't want to include the <<url>>-parameter in the address-value-field of second script.
Is it possible that the second script use the url oder easily "overtake" the url from first script?

This may be a question for one of the ABAP forums.
The table is TBTCO. And the field is RECOBJKEY. You may need to do some debugging to figure out how to convert it back to an email address.
