Thanks.

Cannot open file, Photoshop is not compatible with this version of photoshop. 2 weeks
This has been a problem for almost 2 weeks now. Cant save any work in photoshop, files are unretrievable once closed. I get the same error message. I spent all of last week online with Adobe Tech support, screen sharing conference etc, now iMac isnt working properly. AAARRFGGHH.
Same prob on iMac and new Macbook pro
Last week Adobe via screen share uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop, took a few hours and still nothing. I have lost many hours work here. Cant reach Adobe and I am really pissed off. Cant reach a human via the support emails they aren't working. I have asked to speak to a Programmer or Manager for help with this and I have received none!
Latest message sent through to Support:
OLd support file not opening.
I cant open this one:
1/26/11 Case #0182004961: Unable to open some photoshop documents.
Open - Pending Adobe Response
So we need to start a new way of communicating. I am really upset with Adobe, my Photoshop has been working improperly for almost 2 weeks now. Adobe accessed my computer last week and now MY COMPUTER is not working Properly. I NEED ALL OF THIS FIXED IMMEDIATELY PLEASE!!!!!!
DO NOT withdraw this support topic. Please get a Manager to address this issue ASAP!!!!!!
If anyone reading this can get me through to the right person I would appreciate it. Hopefully Adobe will make reparation for all the trouble caused and time lost!
I should add that last night I tried to contact Adobe to see what the hold up was. I went and tried to open up the case file (No it had not been withdrawn and was still active), but it would not open. So, I started up a new support file with a whole new case number, I received an email this morning from Adobe saying that I would have to communicate with them through the original case #. Went to respond to this email today and the NEW case file had been withdrawn.
Yes, I have read all the user forums on this stuff for months, NO I am not using any Anti Virus stuff, No I did not upgrade my Macs at the time of the prob appearing! Thanks

Can I open psd files created in Photoshop CC with lower version? Actually CS5.
Can I open psd files created in Photoshop CC with lower version? Actually CS5.
My home and office have different version each.Yes, PROVIDED that the file has not been saved with any layers containing any of the specific new features introduced starting with Photoshop CC and higher.
If the file has been flattened or if it was flat to begin with there will be no problems. -
Can delete trace files in bdump
Hi all,
i have lot of trace file is user dump directory i deleted all trace file.but i have confusion that whether to delete background trace files which are being generated by backgroung process in bdump directory.please any one suggest me what should i do. i know these kind of files ar only daignostic file.thanks alot in advance.Hi,
What I usually do is scheduling a process that deletes old files (let's say older than 1 week or so).
As you said, this is for diagnostic only, and we usually don't need old files.
Decide how much time you want to keep, and delete older files (make sure to delete only .trc files, you should keep .log files more).

Separated trace file which I can read with the log viewer
Hi All,
I 'd like to write trace infomation.
I know I can use the default trace.
But I 'm looking for a way to write my application information in a separated file,
which I can read with the log viewer.
Can someone help me with this
Thnaks
SteveHi epexpert,
thaks for your reply.
I tried it with the Filelog.
The Problem is that it logs to the file (its not problematically) but also to the defaulttrace
and thats not my preferred solution.
Do you have any other ideas?

PL/SQL :: Problem With Large Number Computation.
Greetings Experts,
I am relatively new to Oracle-DB. And I have a question regarding PL/SQL. I was trying to find the factorial of a number 100 as this is the most common programming problem for the beginners. But when I tried to execute the same, I was getting weird result(~) instead of actual value, i. e. 100!. I would highly appreciate if you experts can guide me in this regard. I have posted the program herewith for your reference.
SQL> DECLARE
2 X NUMBER := 100;
3 INDX NUMBER := 1;
4 BEGIN
5 INDX := X;
6 WHILE X > 1
7 LOOP
8 X := X - 1;
9 INDX := INDX * X;
10 END LOOP;
11 DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('The Factorial of 100 is : '
12 || INDX || '.');
13 EXCEPTION
14 WHEN OTHERS THEN
15 RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20156,SUBSTR(SQLERRM,1,500));
16 END;
17 /
The Factorial of 100 is : ~.
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
TIA.
Hex.This is PL/SQL and works up to 1463:

Tips for dealing with large channel count on cRio
Hello, I have a very simple application that takes an analog input using an AI module (9205) from a thermistor and based on the value of the input it sends out a true/false signal using a digital out module (9477). Each cRio chassis will have close to 128 channels, the code being exactly the same for each channel.
I wonder if anyone has any tips for how I can do this so that I don't have to copy and paste each section of code 128 times. Obviously this would be a nightmare if the code ever had to be changed. I'm sure there is a way to make a function or a class but being new to graphical programming I can't think of a good way to do this. I looked for a way to dynamically select a channel but can't seem to find anything, if I could select the channel dynamically I'm guessing I can create a subvi and do it that way. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.There isn't a way to dynamically choose a channel at runtime. In order
for the VI to compile successfully, the compiler must be able to statically
determine which channel is being read or written in the I/O Node at
compile time. However, that doesn't mean you can't write a reusable
subvi. If you right click on the FPGA I/O In terminal of the I/O Node and create a constant or control, you should be able to reuse the same logic for all of your channels. The attached screen shot should illustrate the basics of what this might look like. If you right click the I/O control/constant and select "Configure I/O Type...", you can configure the interface the I/O Item must support in order for it to be selectable from the control. While this helps single source some of the logic, you will still eventually need 128 I/O constants somewhere in your FPGA VI hierarchy.
I should also mention that if each channel being read from the 9205 is contained in a separate subVI or I/O Node, you will also incur some execution time overhead due to the scanning nature of the module. You mentioned you are reading temperature signals so the additional execution time may not be that important to you. If it is, you may want to look at the IO Sample Method. You can find more information and examples on how to use this method in the LV help. Using the IO Sample Method does allow you to dynamically choose a channel at runtime and is generally more efficient for high channel counts. However, it's also a lot more complicated to use than the I/O Node.
You also mentioned concerns about the size of arrays and the performance implications of using a single for loop to iterate across your data set. That's the classic design trade off when dealing with FPGAs. If you want to perform as much in parallel as possible, you'll need to store all 128 data points from the 9205 modules at once, process the data in parallel using 128 instances of the same circuit, and then output a digital value based on the result. If you're using fixed point data types, that's 182 x 26 bits for just the I/O data from the 9205. While this will yield the fastest execution times, the resulting VI may be too large to fit on your target. Conversely, you could use the IO Sample Method to read each channel one at a time, process the data using the same circuit, and then output a digital value. This strategy will use the least amount of logic on the FPGA but will also take the longest to execute. Of course, there are all sorts of options you could create in between these two extremes. Without knowing more about your requirements, it's hard to advise which end of the spectrum you should shoot for. Anyway, hopefully this will give you some ideas on where to get started.

Flash still won't play files in Firefox 4, even with latest version 10
Despite what a Firefox support article states, Adobe Flash will not play videos in Firefox 4, even after Flash has been upgraded to the most recent version of Flash 10 (10.3.181.14). That is because the problem is not with Flash, it is in fact a problem with Firefox 4 (what a surprise!). After trying all the useless suggestions here, I finally just went back to Firefox 3.16. Flash had always worked for me prior to switching to Firefox 4. Sure enough, no sooner did I go back to 3.16, Flash immediately began playing videos properly again. Same latest version of Flash, old version of Firefox equal proper video operation. Any version of Flash, Firefox 4 equals no videos play.
I've upgraded from flash 10.0.45 to 11.2.202.235, using Synaptic.
Then, when i saw it didn't work, i've returned to 10.0.45 and upgraded it to 11.2.202.233, no success.
There is an screenshot from a Youtube page, as you can see the video doesn't work, even if i wait a few minutes...

005667821 LASER 173936.48 48 FEB-13
005231987 X-RAY1 120006 24 FEB-13My problem now is, the OTY field ist wrong it should count how often the equipment was in service in FEB-13 and group it by "MODELL" the MANUFACT field is not interesting for me, but this ist my problem, one Modell can have multible Manufacter and so i got a wrong count for my QTY.
The next step i need is to group the result also by Service type (annual or biennial), like this:
ART_NR MODELL TOTAL_PRICE QTY MONTH SERVICE_TYPE
018743356 VACCUM 1234.56 4 FEB-13 ANNUAL
018743356 VACCUM 4423.48 10 FEB-13 BIENNIAL
005667821 LASER 4783.11 2 FEB-13 ANNUAL
005667821 LASER 1123.77 22 FEB-13 BIENNIAL
005231987 X-RAY1 8966.12 6 FEB-13 ANNUAL
005231987 X-RAY1 7826.44 12 FEB-13 BIENNIALThis values are only out of my head, not the table, only to show what i need.
Thanks for your help.
Greets ReinhardHi,
Here's one way:

;The reason why your aggregates were originally too high is that you have a many-to-many relationship between the tables. The tables are related only by art_nr, but art_nr is not unique in either table. Look at art_nr '005231987', example. There ate 2 rows in table_1 with that art_nr, and 6 rows in table_2 with the same art_nr. If we join on art_nr, then both of the rows in table_1 will match each of the 6 rows in table_2, so the COUNT will be 2 * 6 = 12, and in the SUM, each of the numbers from table_1 will get added 6 times.
Why is table_2 designed the way it is? Cn there be multiple modells for the same art_nr? If so, what would you want for output? If there can only be 1 modell for each art_nr, then a better design would be to have a table that just had one row per art_nr, and included the modell column, and another table to show which manufacturers produce each art_nr. In this problem, you wouldn't need the manufacturers table, and the other table already has unique art_nrs, so you wouldn't need anything like the sub-query table_2_summary.
Don't store price in a VARCHAR2 column. Storing NUMBERs in a VARCHAR2 column is just asking for problems. Why not use a NUMBER column instead.
You'll notice that I used ROUND (SUM ... where you use SUM ( ROUND. The results might be a little different because of rounding errors. ROUND ( SUM only has to call ROUND once per group (5 times in this example) instead of once per row (16 times in this example). The less rounding you do, the less rounding error creeps in. Also, since there are fewer function calls, it's more convenient. (Of course, you'll never notice the difference between calling ROUND 5 times or 16 times, but in a real-life exampe, the difference could be between calling it 50 times or calling it 16000 times.) If you really need to use SUM (ROUND, you can. -
How to find out the Correct Controlfile script Trace .trc file in /bdump
Hi Guys
This is the most childish queries in this forum ..
I wanna know how to Find out the correct trace file when we Issue alter database backup controlfile to trace at sqlprompt for Creating controlfile script.
As i find it a bit confusing to go through the same Date & almost same time .trc files out of hundreds of trace file in /bdump directory to find the correct one.
if we 've to find the Alert log file in /bdump directory $ ls -l al* & we get the alert log file .... if there is any similar way to find out the controlfile script Trace file ?
Thanks & regards

MZcreation of the does not happen automatically. What script, and when does it run, do you have that creates the control file trace? Look for files in that time frame. Better, modify that script to specifically name the file .. BACKUP CONTROLFILE TO TRACE AS .... -
hi,
when i am analyzing sql trace file it is showing like 1 sql statement in sql trace file, 1 user sql statements are traced
enabling sql_trace=true as a sys user only.
is there any problem it is not gathering all the users sql statements.user8647245 wrote:
yes, your right,

1 session in tracefile.
1 user sql statements in trace file

like this.
user1 and scott users are connected to database.SQL session can be traced at a time for only one user i.e. one session. It you enable sql trace, During this time if you run any SQL or programs, It will gather all trace of your queries.
Your output depends on Your input i.e. which transactions/queries you have executed.
For ex:
execute dbms_system.set_sql_trace_in_session(<sid>, <serial>, true); -
Extract SQL history from 10046 trace files
Hi all,
I need to extract the complete sql history from sql trace files to "debug" a client application.
I know I can read the raw trc file and rebuild the sql history looking for the PARSING / EXEC / FETCH entries.
However, this is a very long and boring manual task: do you know if there is some free tool to automate this task?
thanks

I agree that the 10046 trace captures everything. If I do read the raw trc file I see the DML. The problem is that tkprof's record does not record the DML (maybe it thinks that some DML is recursive sql and it gets misleaded... I am not sure) so I am looking for an alternate tool to process 10046 trace files

I traced a user session against our TEST database to try and find out why an error is occuring. That trace file was quite large, with several queries showing up as going against SYSTEM tables:
select /*+ index(idl_sb4$ i_idl_sb41) +*/ piece#,length,piece
from
idl_sb4$ where obj#=:1 and part=:2 and version=:3 order by piece#When I traced a session against the PRODUCTION database there were far fewer entries. In fact, here were the differences:
TEST
1 session in tracefile.
13 user SQL statements in trace file.
109 internal SQL statements in trace file.
122 SQL statements in trace file.
51 unique SQL statements in trace file.
3964 lines in trace file.

3 internal SQL statements in trace file.
18 SQL statements in trace file.
17 unique SQL statements in trace file.
650 lines in trace file.
0 elapsed seconds in trace file.Why is there a difference between the two. The section of the Form throwing the error in TEST has not been changed from what's in PROD. But, I'm missing 2 user statements, one of which is the one I'm most interested in.
Thanks
-ChuckThank you very much, Mr. Forstmann, for your quick response.
It is really helpful. But I have one further question. Since our server space is limited and we can't keep those trace files forever. So I still need to delete inactive trace files to save some space. Could you please tell how to found out if files are open or closed in a SunOS 5.10 server?
Thanks a lot,
Shirley -
I am setting event trace using '10046 trace name context forever, level 12'; Sometimes trace files under /bdump are getting generated and sometime not. Why is that. I use the folloing to get the P_ID and I don't see any files with that name. Although I notice that there is a BG process with the OS ID. Should I need to use any alter system commands to generate the trace files after my event trace is done?
